Prediction: my beloved Lions are going to get their asses handed to them today. Harbaugh's handshake following the game will ripple through the walls of Candlestick park.
And, at the end of the day, Jim Harbaugh will still be a d***.
I think Johnson will have a good day today, because the Chargers can't stop the run worth crap. Although I am surprised at how quickly the Titans ran away from the concept of "win in the trenches" football that served them so well in Fisher's tenure, Week 1 only shows you all of the things you're going to get wrong prognosticating for Week 2.
CJ isn't going to have a good day... Last week the o-line opened huge holes for him and he consistently ignore them. the All 22 don't lie.
Kid's head ain't right. He's either not seeing... or he's not trusting his eyes. I am expecting a 10 point loss for the Titans. They always suck out west.
But one thing you can expect... They are going to throw it all over the yard.
I can see that Seattle will be that team this year that loses when I pick them to win, win when I pick them to lose, and never cover/beat a spread when I need them to. Which is good, I guess, because that should always be a team I hate.

I'm on the Lions tonight +7, and a small percent on the upset win. Love betting teams with any extra motivation at all. I seriously doubt the Lions lose by more than 10, but yes, I've been wrong before.
One of the bags I think about the least but probably get the most use out of is my colostomy bag. I use it daily, it travels with me and, quite frankly, I don’t take very good care of it. I should take better care of it, but instead I think I take my cute little colostomy bag for granted. You see, it is just a matter of time until I realize I need to replace it and when that day comes, I will inevitably be taken by surprise and under-prepared.
@Anon - yes. Although I did win my modest bet with the points, the Lions were really dreadful. Their defense is supposed to be top notch, yet they continually allowed the 9ers to run their little dives and off-tackles for 5 to 9 yards. Also, letting them convert 4 3rd and longs in the 4th killed em. Poor megatron is going to need to soak after that game. Stafford was also pretty pitiful - they need to establish some kind of running game. Hey...at least they didn't lose to the Colts. At least not until December.
"they need to establish some kind of running game"
Hoping that Leshoure will be able to give them that, since he will be back next week (and I don't expect Best to ever come back). Facing the Titans D might allow them to start doing it, too.
Vikings playing not to loose once again. There is seriously something wrong with the play calling here.
Ponder was flawless when the leash was a little bit longer. Of course, something has to do with Recievers not getting open. But they didn't throw a pass past the 1st down marker until well into the 4th quarter. Musgrave is really bad. They were really serious when they talked about a 75% completion rate. Easily done if you only throw it in the back-field to Harvin.
Penalties and all were bad, but this comes from frustration with the play calling. Several players stated that they executed what was called.
It has been like this all season and last: good first drive (oh, we can move the ball when we have to), now lets get safe (can't move the ball for 3 quarters) and then, reluctantly, maybe a long pass here and there might help.
I almost freaked out in the 4th, down two TD's and they play with NO sense of urgency to talk about. They don't want to win, they just want to limit the pounding they will take. I hope the 49ers will rip them a new one.
Frazier and Musgrave are of the Chilly mold. It's going to be a long year (and I don't see them winning more games than last year).
At least I had Luck and Rudolph starting for my fantasy team. Need 12 points out of Decker/White to win this week again. Should be possible.
I don't really have much of an issue with the Lions rushing effort. Didn't expect much more from them against the Niners. Everywhere else? Well, all things considered: what a piss poor effort. Stafford probably takes the cake, knowing full damn well they weren't going to win on the ground. It wasn't some surprise-realization. What the hell has he been practicing?
Nate September 16, 2012 6:55 PM and now... the defense is back to sucking. gonna be a loooong year.
Your boys look absolutely AWFUL! What is going on with the Titans? I thought we'd take a couple of beatings from you guys this season, but now I'm not entirely sure the Colts can win one here in Indy.
I see that Farah is now calling for the United States to pack up and leave the Middle East. Does this guy ever make up his mind on what he really wants? After mercilessly pounding Ron Paul, he ends up calling for the same thing. I stopped taking him seriously quite awhile ago.

Chances are, Michael Vick won't make it through the regular season.
Vikes - Colts: Why it can help to suck in the NFL.
They could keep their undefeated streak going for another week!
It wasn't too many years ago that the Vikings would have killed to have a better record than the Colts.
I like the Thursday game idea for the NFL.
About time.
Obviously I'm a Colts homer but why not give Peterson the ball constantly? I mean, we are talking the Colts here.
If the patriots are this bad... How bad must my beloved Titans be?
Looks like the Vikings have money on the Colts

Maybe Arizona is that good??????
@CS: Like last week the Vikes are in a sort of 'preseason', like where in college football where easy teams get served up early.
Brady's accuracy has fallen off a cliff...
will Ponder get to 150 yds passing? who is calling the plays for MIN?
The Vikes need a TD and soon. Winning in OT is not a good strategy
Eli Manning has topped 300yd again and are in striking distance of the Bucs.
This is the Vikings' Childress test: do you go for the win in regulation, or the less in OT?
Yeah, going for the loss in OT. Coaching fail.
"Maybe Arizona is that good??????"
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
HA!
HAHAHAH!
"Brady's accuracy has fallen off a cliff..."
It really has. Someone predicted Brady wouldn't finish the year as the starter. I can't remember who though...
They can get better next year Vox

Wow, was Flacco terrible against the Eagles. Almost every pass was a foot above his receivers.
ok... that 10 point loss prediction may have been grossly optimistic.
I hate football...
Now this is football! ;)
Titans do finally playing.
Defense. Dammit
The officiating in the Rams/Redskins game is atrocious. Two botched touchdown calls, among other major errors.
WATYF
Our offense is offensive

I always thought there was something missing from 'Arena Football' now I know what it is ;)
I pretty much expected Dallas to screw up somehow, but the Patriots? That's a shocker.

Lions not looking good on the ground or through the air tonight. Not sure how they're going to keep it within 10, at this rate....
Run, pass, pass. Run, pass, pass. It'll only work so many times, guys....
Yeah, looking like it's going to take a pick6 off Stafford, and more accurate passes from Stafford, among other things, to beat the 7. Hmmm.
Sorry, of course meant pick6 off Smith...
Thought the Lions could do better than this, but, the Niners are damn good. Sigh.
Lanvin One of the bags I think about the least but probably get the most use out of is my cosmetic bag.
I am sorry, but you have indulged in premature exspamulation. Pink month in the NFL is next month.
So be a nice little cunt and practice safe sex, i.e, go fuck yourself.
cowboys laid an egg.
JDC;
Looks like we were both off a tad.
*handshake* :)
Nah. Cowboys scored 7.
Arkansas laid an egg.
Detroit comeback in the 4th quarter becoming their MO.

Fun with spam.
I think Payton's suspension is killing the Saints. Defense is as bad as always, but the offense can't bail them out like it used to.

Niners coming to raid the Vikings next week. Ponder will ponder how will he get into the endzone. A beat-down has been called in.

My first thought when I saw the Lanvin Bag spam was that the Charger's beatdown of the Titans had caused Nate to revert to mommyblogging.

Go Texans! Maybe this will be the year ... for real.
Got rid of Tebow - Ha!
Broncs will still go 6-1 in the AFC West and 7-1 at Home. See ya in the playoffs Mr Manning.
