WND column

Obama's 2nd Term

There has been a good deal of speculation, some of it bordering on the apocalyptic, concerning what Barack Obama will do if the American people are foolish enough to give him another four years to preside over them. Obama says that he would grade his performance as “Incomplete,” thereby indicating that he has plans he has not yet been able to fulfill. But what are those plans? And has he truly given us any indication of them in his recent speech to the Democratic National Convention?

The American people are such binary thinkers.

I dunno man, his thing for executive orders is troubling in the extreme. Plus, if he can manage to hammer out some permanent sort of immigration-flood/amnesty whatzit, then America will be as demographically doomed as it now is fiscally, virtually ensuring a future civil war; and so he can go to his deathbed a happy man, mission accomplished, America destroyed.

Plus, if he can manage to hammer out some permanent sort of immigration-flood/amnesty whatzit,

Think back 5 years. It was a Republican president who came closest to passing amnesty. Obama never came as close as Bush. Romney will push through all manner of destructive policies with Republican help, while Obama will continue allowing the Keystone cops to run policy. Obama literally has no plan, he will spend his first year having to create an actual budget and try to get funding for Obamacare. It will be total war in DC and total gridlock. Romney will break the gridlock and pass amnesty, Obamacare II: Romneycare, and he'll also double the deficit in 4 years.

I dunno man, his thing for executive orders is troubling in the extreme.

After his performance at the RNC, do you really think Romney won't use them too? And has Romney criticized a single executive order of Obama's, or any other president's, for that matter? And on immigration, Roundtine is correct. The Republican House won't fight Romney on it to the extent they have fought Obama. When Romney demands amnesty under some other name, they will give it to him. Remember, Romney's ties to Mexico are much stronger than Obama's.

Obama is helping destroy the US of A.

The economic crisis trumps politics, even if there were a significant difference between the candidates: neither will change the fact that aggregate economies do not act, rather economic actors act in their perceived self interest, neither will change the fact that bankers desperately want to lend, but only to what they perceive as credit-worthy borrowers--who are not inclined to increase their debt or are even deleveraging a little per the Z1--the only increase in debt lately is in student loans which lenders will make due to government guarantees and non-dischargability and which the generally non-credit worthy borrowers will borrow due to lack of options in the job market, ignorance of consequences, general malinvestment due to easy money policies, or some combination thereof.

Re;axed inclinations indeed. Isn't entertaining that the current administration is droning down Muslims while the Right continues to float Obama's alleged Muslim roots when he's just another doper/chain smoker?

While I'll regret saying this, the current administration will do the least damage as the economy doesn't recover. The Rom/Ryan ticket offers just as little as DNC freak speeches did in Charlotte.

Blogger LP 999/Eliza September 10, 2012 6:59 AM

Obama 2016 isn't as foreboding as the last 10 minutes of DarkSiders, the CDC's prepping for zombies or the strange purchases of hollow point bullets for 'training'. I mean, I watched O 2016 and wasn't threatened or worried since the police state matter is a separate body from puppet administrations.

Family Life According to the Brotherhood

By MONA EL-NAGGAR

CAIRO — Women are erratic and emotional, and they make good wives and mothers — but never leaders or rulers. That, at least, is what Osama Abou Salama, a professor of botany at Cairo University and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, told young men and women during a recent premarital counseling class. What was striking, though, was the absence of any reaction. None of the 30 people in the class so much as winced.

(Why should they wince? True as stated!)

“A woman,” Mr. Abou Salama said, “takes pleasure in being a follower and finds ease in obeying a husband who loves her.”

(Ditto!)
...
“Let’s face it, if your work took you away from your fundamental duties at home and if your success came at the cost of your family life and the stability of your children, then you are the one who stands to lose,” [said a female professor in Cairo]
...

(Exactly right!)
...
At the group’s headquarters, in the densely populated Cairo neighborhood of Nasr City, Mr. Abou Salama walked into a spacious room where the front seats were for men and the back seats were for women. He lectured on qualities to seek in a partner, getting acquainted under parental supervision, dealing with in-laws and consummating marriage. In his social paradigm, understanding that the woman was created to be an obedient wife and mother and that the man was created to fend for his family holds the secret to a happy marriage.

“I want you to be the flower that attracts a bee to make honey, not the trash that attracts flies and dirt,” Mr. Abou Salama said as the women listened intently.

(You got it, Abou Salama!)

If it does not, then the article is 100% bunk as Obama will have no one to stop him from governing 100% by executive order fiat.

I've suspected for quite some time now that the polls we hear are as artificial as the BLS statistics, and now it's being revealed that David Axelrod has been complaining to Gallup when their surveys weren't reported to his liking. Given the degree to which most of the media habitually lies, I no longer see a reason to believe any publicly reported polls.

I know very few people who are enthusiastic about either Obama or Romney. Unfortunately, that won't be enough to stop many of those same people from voting for one or the other.

I feel that deal is to neuter our nuclear arsenal as much as possible without getting impeached. That and to wear out America's military in useless wars that have the added bonus of killing us economically.
However, I really believe, and it dovetails with the above, he is using our military, money, and intelligence services to enable the establishment of the new caliphate. To that end, he and his gang of traitors have been brilliant. They have accomplished much without his getting impeached out of office. The whole setup of a black president that a wussy congress is afraid to take on was a master stroke.
This whole period in our countries history is about as scary as it gets.

Ok. So it can get more scary. I may take up meditation.

If Obama gets re-elected and there is gridlock in the legislature maybe that's good. No more new laws. No more active government programs. But maybe that's bad. The president will make the laws himself and use the supreme court system to back him up.

The contracts government workers and teachers enjoy were agreed upon without much opposition from opposing government worker employees. Such employees cannot represent the people'e side because they are government workers too.

This kind of representation is struck down in criminal cases, but not in government contract settlements.

That's why I think it is not the government's role to run any kind production. Only the private sector, competitive in keeping costs down, should do that.

Anonymous scoobius dubious September 10, 2012 10:42 AM

"Um, so when Obama goes to war with Iran, this is to set up a new caliphate?"

Well, a) not everybody thinks he _will_ drop the hammer on Iran; I certainly hope he won't, but I'm not much of a tea-leaf-reader. Still, he hasn't to date, one of his few redeeming qualities, so I don't know about "when". And b) even if a new caliphate were in the cards, Iran, being Shi'ite-tastic and so forth, wouldn't be a part of it, so war with Iran would actually help establish a caliphate by taking the Persian imperial dreamers out of the equation and unifying the Sunni/Arab world. It's all very crazy; my only point is that your reasoning doesn't imply what you think it implies.

Not that I think a "new caliphate" is something that the various screaming mimi's should be all that worried about anyway; oil aside, what are they going to do, throw their shoes at us? The big worry from Islam is of course immigration and the attendant internal rot of growing cancerous Islamic influence, cheerfully helped along by our old friends the cultural Marxists/You Know Who; if the Muslims aren't dislodged from Europe and America some time soon, then you don't need to worry about what goes on in Damascus and Cairo, you need to worry about London and Peoria.

"When he launches drone attacks against Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Somalia, and Syria, killing muslims, this is to set up a new caliphate?"

Eggs, omelettes, etc. You're not looking at the big picture here. The pole-star principle to keep in mind here is that Obama hates America and hates white people, and wishes to see them both destroyed. Or rather, he hates an America that is defined and determined by white people, and wishes to see THAT destroyed. Keeping those things in mind helps explain his (otherwise often baffling) actions from one moment to the next.

The best we can hope for is a stagnant government without the power to meddle at their heart's content. A lame duck Obama presidency with the Senate and Congress in Republican hands would not be all bad. What we absolutely want to avoid is giving either side carte blanch. We already made that mistake once. As the saying goes, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Anonymous ThirdMonkey September 10, 2012 11:14 AM

That would be the people who get involved with land wars in Asia.

Or go against Sicilains when death is on the line.

The threat is not so much Obama himself, but all of the people who have ridden his coattails to the top. They've entrenched themselves into the bureaucracy, and it will take decades to weed them out. Look at what GHW Bush and Clinton did to the State Dept and Intelligence agencies with their NWO lackeys. The most dangerous, freedom-robbing government employee is not the guy (or gal) at the top, it's the nameless, faceless bureaucrat that can ruin your life. Today's TSA screeners will be tomorrow's SES employees implementing freedom-hating policies.

I wish it was as simple as getting rid of a King Humperdink.

One of the good reasons for Obama to be re-elected for another four years (probably the only good one) is the likelihood of Republican majorities in both the House and Senate with this election. This means they will resist the Obama agenda every step of the way and perhaps same the Republic.

A Romney victory would not drastically change the agenda, but the Republican majorities in Congress would rubber stamp the same brand of nonsense without so much as a quibble or whimper.

Perhaps an Obama win would be better if it would mean that Congress would revisit the Constitution to look up what is actually Congressional authority and what is reserved for the President. This has been a major concern of mine for many years. We do not have a King or a ruler. We only have a President to carry out the laws passed by Congress. He may not tax, or spend money, or declare war, or rewrite laws passed by Congress, or supercede laws already on the books with Executive Orders.

I can tolerate another term for Obama if it will be the end of tyranny in this country and a return to the Constitution.

D'Won has already enacted an administrative amnesty. Note the fast and furious response from the Repukes, especially Weepin' Johnny and the Brokeback Boyz. In other words, they're completely on board with it. They're also set to pass another stopgap government funding bill and likely raise the debt ceiling again, but the bulk of the WND idiocracy continues to believe they represent "opposition" to the regime, incapable of seeing the larger picture. The tea party likewise has proved to be a complete joke - utterly hijacked by the Gay Old Pedophiles. Note also who Mittens, already tanking in the polls, is now trying to win votes by praising Obamacare. Not to mention the Boss Tweed style after-the-fact rule changing that took place in the Repuke convention. Nevertheless, like lemmings, the "conservatives" and the Superfun Rockband Megachurch "Christians" will continue their suicide march over a cliff - led by Mittens with the Magic Underoos. There is no actual political opposition to any of this. Amnesty will happen, whether through actual legislation or execute order, regardless of who wins the nominal beauty contest. Both contestants are in favor of it. Mission already accomplished.

White I think you are correct about the lack of specific plan, the general laziness, corruption and incompetence, the notion that the Repukes will wage total war is simply not borne out by the historical record. Look at the past two years for starters. Repukes took control of the House by an even more dramatic swing than in 1994 on the basis of two promises: a) repeal of stop the implementation of Obamacare; b) reduce government spending. Led by the like of Weepin' Johnny and Eric Cantor, they have utterly failed to do either. Obamacare's implementation is fully funded, spending continues unabated (including purchase of enough ammo by the DHS-Stasi to kill every single person five times over), debt ceiling raised (not once, but twice), Eric "My People" Holder's utter lawlessness unpunished (unless you're so completely stupid as to think that a toothless censure is "punishment"), executive amnesty for illegals unopposed (see above post), and much more. This isn't even mentioning the twelve solid years of similar "opposition" to the long marches of the Clinton and Bush regimes. Heck of an opposition, Johnny! If that's total war, we must to wonder what cooperative bi-partisanship would be?

Yes, I think Weepin' Johnny and the Borkeback Boyz would be even more willing to assume the position for Capt. Underoos than they have been for D'Won, but we must face the reality that they've be quite happy to serve as D'Won's ho as it stands. This just goes to underline by point in the post above: There is only one agenda, and no political opposition. So, we can talk about the Kabuki performance, the horse race, etc. We can likewise discuss the number of angels which can occupy the head of a pin.

The Constitution and the Republic that it created are as dead as John Adams. They died, finally, at Antietam. Everything we have been taught about American history since at least 1846 is a lie. The beat goes on. Whether Obamney or Robama wins is of no consequence.

Gen. Kong..."Amnesty will happen, whether through actual legislation or execute order, regardless of who wins the nominal beauty contest."

I fail to understand the purpose of any amnesty for the millions of illegal aliens. If the law is disregarded with contempt, even superceded by executive order, then why in Heaven's name would it make a bit of difference to give the invaders amnesty.

Now that we are no longer a nation of laws, it serves no purpose to change the law or abolish it. If the Federal Government can disregard the word of law today, why would an amended version be enforced? This was the problem with the great amnesty of 1987. Ronald Reagan promised there would never be another amnesty. He also said that in return for amnesty for one million illegals (which turned into 4 million) we would finally get workplace enforcement. Well folks, here we are. Still no workplace enforcement and tens of millions more illegal invaders.

A good and thoughtful question. Here's why I think TPTB still regard amnesty as important - even though (as you correctly acknowledge) there is no longer any semblance of rule of law in the Banksta Banana Republick. By formally legalizing the invaders, they will have another 30 million reasons to use the power of an out-of-control totalitarian regime to stomp out their enemies. In a nutshell this would be the historic American majority - YT. YT has already been the target of a zebra intifada of black-on-white murder an rape for the past five decades, with a full campaign of cover-up and lies from the Ministry of Truth plus a similar campaign in the courts to ensure that the perpetrators are ultimately put back on the streets. This, along with whole racial preference racket of "affirmative-action", neighborhood destruction via Section 8, TANF, SNAP, food stamps - all now with 30 million or more new clients, not to mention new voters for the welfare faction of the ruling party. California is already a one-party state. Think of CA writ large over the whole USSA.
