On the book front
It looks like we're going to have to move the official release date for A THRONE OF BONES back two days until Monday. I have the proof that's being corrected for the hardcover; the book will be 950 pages and it looks really good. However, the conversion to epub and the upload to Amazon is going to take a little time. I'm sorry about the delay, but fortunately, it's only going to be a brief one.

YOU'RE JUST LIKE GEORGE R.R. MARTIN!
Hey it happens, congrats on all this though. Hope that you get a bit of a break before all hell breaks loose.
Thanks for the update. I have been looking watching for it on Amazon.
I just got an email from the publisher asking which format I wanted: Kindle or epub.
Pretty excited!

Me too.
Me too.
Me too; replied to Tiff at March Lorder.
You're getting soft in your old age. This post doesn't troll any of the demographics that voted for Obama.

S long as I get it by Tuesday morning, I will be very happy, business trip to Omaha, so I'll have several in flight hours and two quiet nights in a hotel to read...
Good to hear. I've pulled jury duty starting Wednesday and I'm looking forward to good reading material.
Still on schedule for today?
Got mine today, already started, grabbed me, flows nicely despite all the names. No more time to read before tomorrow when I fly to Omaha.
Got the Kindle version today, opened it, and am sneaking peeks between work.
Question/request: Is there anywhere, any way I can get a jpg or other file format of the map of Selenoth? I know I am going to want to be referring back to that over and over, and I can see it becoming a pain to figure out how to refer back to it in Kindle for PC every time a new place name pops up.
Plus it is rotated 90 degrees in the Kindle edition. :o) (o: >>XP
Enjoying it so far.
Where do we send errata? Just finished The first(?) Lodi chapter and I'm already up to about 20 without trying to proof it.
Reading the epub, Kindle for Android sucks, fbreader much better. Enjoying it so far, a couple of spelling mistakes but nothing major.
23 errors at the exact same location, and a couple of them are possibly not errors at all. I'm guessing our lists look pretty much the same

Email them to me. Preferably by noon Tuesday so we can get them corrected for the hardcover. We'll be updating the ebooks eventually.

Soon. I'll be posting one once I do the formal launch post for the book, but we're still waiting on Amazon.
