We quoted them at length, perhaps the longest quote I've ever seen from a Christian, which caused me discomfort, but the message was identical to liberal multiculturalism, so that put me at ease.
We of course had to work in the fact that this is obviously going to be a hate crime. But on the other hand it was a crazy mob. I thought that those two fact might contradict- how could a "crazy" person have the mental wherewithal to commit a "hate" crime? Ezra once again assured me nobody would notice such trivia.
My final concern was that reporting the story at all would incite further crazy mob violence in the region against Muslims. So we in the mainstream decided to ditch it all together and leave it to some chump change digital media outfit.
I hope God is looking out for Pastor McConnell. Good for him for standing up to this cult. And good on the Irish. Maybe they can inspire the Brits to summon up the nerve to start some blowback of their own.

I watched the first 80 minutes of Kingdom of Heaven last night. Back in '05 I remember it being such a good movie. Now I am nauseated by the political correctness. Islam is constantly presented as a peaceful, virtuous faith during the Crusades, contra the hypocritical Christians. The most virtuous characters exhibit no faith in Jesus at all. Indeed, I don't even think Jesus is named specifically. Only "Christ" is mentioned a few times. Then again, I didn't make it halfway through the movie.

A good percentage of Northern Ireland residents are Protestant Scotsman imported after the Glorious Revolution and the failed Stuart Restoration plot. To call them Brit is a bit of a misnomer. Actually I sort of agree with Tommy. The people should not be attacking the immigrants, who after all did not barge into their nation. Noah, this basically is the standard operating procedure for an occupying force. You occupy a nation and find there are too many locals, so you bring in a foreign population to both water down the locals and help to administer your gains. Examples are numerous from history and include the English settling the Scots in Northern Ireland, the Ottomans settling the Jews in Greece, and the USSR settling ethnic Russians in the Baltic states.
The unique thing about what is happening in the West, both Europe and North America, is that there is no occupying foreign army doing this. It is being done by what is supposedly our own elite.
On a side note, I was watching an episode of the Rick Steves' travel show about Estonia. Now Rick travels all over Europe and never mentions or shows the trouble with Europe's rising diversity. But Rick felt free to mention the problem of ethnic Russians in Estonia. My guess is because they are white, they are an easy target to attack. But that is not why I am mentioning this. You'd be hard pressed to find a more parched tinderbox of incipient Professional-Grade citizen violence anywhere on Planet Earth than Northern Ireland. A ressurected IRA is most certainly an existential threat for Muslims in Ireland.
I'll grant you the IRA, if they can shake out the cobwebs and find some recruits under 49.
