Riding this way

Still keeping fingers crossed concerning one more potential contributor, but this is what looks like the final list of contributors to the first volume of Castalia's new annual mil-SF anthology. We are expecting to make it available to newsletter subscribers next weekend assuming everything comes together as it should. The cover is, well, you're just going to have to see it. If it's not quite a murderer's row of contributors, it is a strong one from start to finish and a variety of national militaries and service branches are represented.

And if you're a military historian or an established writer of mil-SF and are interested in contributing to volume two, get in touch. We've already got two excellent new contributors lined up for volume two.

Gonna buy it regardless, but I'm really hoping that Rolf's contribution is a new short story. As much as I enjoyed "The Stars Came Back," he's too good of an author to have only one published work.

oh you'll be hearing plenty from Rolf I bet....

Oh, that's not the cover.

It is. He'll be publishing at least one new novel with Castalia in 2015.

@Dave

Thanks a lot. :)

SirThermite - yup, I'm in the Red Horse. Hope the short story there lives up to your expectation.

Thanks for the compliment- glad you liked the story. The normal prose version should be done with editing soon.

I'm about 100k words into the sequel, definitely in the home stretch. It definitely has the same feel for me - I think it will be well-received by those that liked TSCB.

About 35k words on a prequel-like story in the same universe, but I think that one would go faster when I'm really working on it.

The Battle of Marathon book for early readers (aimed at boys grade 1-3) is being illustrated now, but it's a slow slog working with a local talented but young and inexperienced artist (still in HS).
