UVA rape hoax gets even weirder

The hoaxette's friends have come forward to explain that Rolling Stone did not cover their story accurately:
The college students described as friends of the alleged rape victim Jackie in an explosive Rolling Stone article revealed their identities to ABC News today, and said that some of the magazine's story is false.

"The text was so divergent from what we said that evening," said Alex Stock, who said he's identified as "Andy" in the article.

The magazine article describes a violent, three-hour gang rape that left a University of Virginia student identified as Jackie bruised and bloody when she escaped a house on fraternity row, right near the university president's office.

When her friends, identified by Rolling Stone as "Randall," "Andy" and "Cindy," arrived that night, the article says they urged Jackie to keep quiet to keep their social lives intact.

That is not the scene described by Jackie's friends to ABC News. They said at the time they believed a "traumatic" sex assault had occurred. But the two males friends said they were told that night -- Sept. 28, 2012 -- that Jackie was forced to perform oral sex on five men while a sixth stood by.
But their story is just the tip of the iceberg; it's becoming apparent that they don't believe her anymore either. Mostly because she appears to have been MAKING UP the very fraternity guy she was pretending to be seeing the night of the "rape". One of Dalrock's commenters summarizes the apparent sequence of events:

1) Jackie falls in crush with Randall.
2) Randall LJBFs Jackie
3) Jackie doesn’t understand that “no means no”
4) Jackie invents an imaginary boyfriend “chem guy” , complete with fake photos and phone number
5) Jackie boasts with chem guy in front of Randall to make him jealous. She even gives “chem guy’s phone number” to Randall, Andy and Cindy and, impersonating chem guy, insinuates to Randall that she loves him.
6) Randall remains unimpressed.
7) Jackie goes to date with chem guy.
8) Few hours later Jackie gives Randall a “damsel in distress” call.
9) Randall arrives and she hysterically tells him that chem guy lured her into a gang rape of clinton-levinsky variety.
10) Instead of falling in love with her, Randall calls reinforcements: Andy and Cindy.
11) They try to console her and convince her to go to police, but she refuses.
12) After that night chem guy still sends texts to Randall singing praise to Jackie.
13) Randall still doesn’t want to fall in love with Jackie.
14) Jackie is heartbroken and gets depressed.
15) Jackie finds out campus anti-rape activists and activities. Here she get attention, she didn’t get from Randall.
16) In next two years Jackie gets obsessed with anti-rape activism. Her story of that night gets newer and newer juicy details.
17) Two years later, Rolling Stone femipropagandist Sabrina Rubin Ederly is combing campuses nationwide to find THE perfect person for “campus rape culture awareness poster girl”.

In other words, the Rolling Stone article was based on a gang rape that didn't happen at a fraternity party that never took place, orchestrated by a college student who doesn't exist.

Forget rape. This story is grounds for never believing a single word that comes out of a college girl's mouth.

Anonymous Social Justice Wetard December 12, 2014 9:38 AM

All the more reason for you to never question the story of a rpae victim. You see what you've done? Now on top of not getting raped she is going to have to change her story and that wil only lead to more girls not getting raped and having to change their stories. Your never ending attacks have only made things worser.

Anonymous dh December 12, 2014 9:47 AM

Sorry, but truth as no place in the narrative. The narrative of campus rape and assault needs to respect and listen to the VOICES of women who have suffered trauma. Getting down into the "did this happen or not" category is besides the point, and it's not really appropriate to question the victims. They have a narrative, it is traumatic, we should listen and respond.

"How do you go from one to all?"

Easy, you simply substitute college girls for White males. If one White male has unearned privilege, than all White males have it, ipso facto if one college girl is a liar, all college girls are liars.

See how easy that was.

If I was the campus PD or Charlottesville PD, I would make a big deal about this, swear to investigate the matter thoroughly and present a public report.

I would start flipping over ever rock to see what lies crawled out, and I would continue until the University and Jackie pleaded with me to stop and begged me not to deliver a public report.

From today's RedState...

"First off, let’s clear away the undergrowth. There is no “rape culture” out there. Rape and sexual assault do happen. There is no doubt of that. But a “rape culture” exists only in the minds of rabidly misandrist feminists, like, for instance, Amanda Marcotte, who loathe men and view anything done to harm men as a net good. For a “rape culture” to exist it not only has to be endemic, it has to be socially acceptable. The fact that the feminists have to rely on bogus incidents, like the Duke lacrosse case and now this, indicates that rape is not only rare, as it should be, but it is also severely punished where it is proven" Link

Maybe it's high time for a little more middah k'neged middah, 'measure for measure' and 'reaping what you sow'.

If a malicious witness . . . accuses someone of a crime . . . and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against a fellow [classmate], then do to the false witness as that witness intended to do to the other party. You must purge the evil from among you. The rest of the [campus] will hear of this and be afraid, and never again will such an evil thing be done among you.

So, "nexting" a girl gets turned into fraternity gang rape. I was convinced not long ago that the "college experience" is not for my daughter. Now it looks just as perilous for my sons. At this rate, we'll go from sexually liberated women to arranged marriages in less than a generation.

Not in the sense of extraordinary quality, but in that they're remarkably adept at turning the hamster to 11, because they can't make 10 any louder.

I used to give them all the benefit of the doubt, but it's much more expedient to assume a lie until you can learn unequivocally a woman's honest nature.

They have a narrative, it is traumatic, we should listen and respond.

We are. We are successfully teaching men who don't rape not to rape and, as a result, they are still not raping.

As for the small percentage of men who rape, there is no "do not rape" teaching that will persuade them not to rape, they may actually rape more now that we can no longer discern whether a claimed rape is a real rape or a fake rape. Especially when the Lena's of the world claim real rape but won't file charges against the real rape rapists.

Yey feminists!

Anonymous Oswald December 12, 2014 10:43 AM

The party line -- for leftwing feminists and right-wing white knights -- is that "something" happened to trigger Jackie's behaviour. This "something" is supposed to be a second, unreported sexual assault. Of course there is NO way for this to work, as the timeline shows she made up her "fake boyfriend" hoax before the night of the fake party. So, you'd have to add another supposed rape in between steps 4 & 5 in in the timeline above...

As Ace puts it (on Twitter): "so is it possible the universe conspired against her and had this horror befall her just days after she'd ruined her credibility ? in that case, we're just going to have to say, "If the universe is conspiring this hard, we're gonna have to let the universe win."

So if Cho's actions promoted the cause of gun-control, then how about promoting a return to single-sex campuses to ban the Jackie's of the world?

You're trying to hard. She just told a colossal lie, and it spun out of control, and now she's trying to salvage whatever she can of her life and reputation while watching the entire thing go up in flames before her eyes, unable to comprehend how it got this far. The connections you're looking for are that her story was useful, and it's getting pushed hard because those who tried to use her story know how damaging it is to their cause that the story turns out to be completely fake.

Popular culture is ruining almost all women and most men.

Rank-and-file women have no idea what they are doing by alienating vast numbers of the most dangerous animal on Earth. A world full of pitiless, alienated-from-women men is not apt to be women-friendly.

When I see divorced men continuously tormented by their ex-wives via the courts, I envision a woman using a stick to poke an adult male Bengal tiger in a cage. She has been brainwashed to see bars where none exist, and only the flimsiest sense of self-preservation prevents the tiger from leaping upon her and tearing her spine from her neck.

Feminist and Totalitarian, or do I repeat myself, ideologues seldom need to conspire. All they have to do is act natural.

This does not mean that they have never conspired or that they do not do so now. But I think they are getting sloppy. They perceive victory, almost within their grasp, but are shocked, panicked even, by the sudden resistance and counterattack launched against them.

They are like the Wehrmacht in suburbs of Moscow in ’41, experiencing their first Russian blizzard.

The party line -- for leftwing feminists and right-wing white knights -- is that "something" happened to trigger Jackie's behaviour.

Everything, ultimately, has to be a man's fault, because women are pure and blameless. So if a woman is crazy, or tells lies and destroys people's lives, or strangles her children, or whatever, it's because of something some man did to her in the past. If no man ever even tried to touch her, then that's what caused it. Or as a last resort, it wasn't any particular man, but the misogynist culture created by men.

But anything unpleasant she does is the fault of men. That's a given at this point. And as Dalrock has shown, that's true whether you're talking to feminists or most Christians.

The QB Winston story in Tallahassee is the same deal. It is so confusing to the SJW types that the local PC sports guy actually believes it's about Racism (rather than the FI that it is about in these particular cases). It takes some serious inconsistency and TrueBeliever status to believe the national media and culture are Racist against black guys. Both Race and the FI are pushed and enabled by Academia and Universities, which the alumns are seeking to defend from all the "bad press". Their Equalitarian Frame is stepping all over its own toes.

Truly a Cognitive Dissonant time for the PC SJW's and those who need to identify with their particular school as special, feel-good Alums and who believe their pieces of paper have meaning. The Equalitarian Imperitive agenda juxtaposed vs True Identity can be a bitch.

Note the root of all this is never questioned: sex is indeed free. No price to be paid.
The mental Matrix and its inconsistency is interesting to observe. "There's a Problem"! sans admission of what it actually is in Reality or how it was created.

I posted this at AlphaGame:

Sabrina Erderly, has been doing this for a while.

In The Rape of Petty Officer Blumer. Again for Rolling Stone, Erdley's account of PO Blumer is ridiculous.

PO Blumer claimed, she went out clubbing and was drugged, then raped. Later she was picked up for a DUI by a local cop and spent the night in the jug. Erdley has Blumer in front of a JAG officer eight hours after her attack

That is impossible.

Intel analyst PO Blumer would not have been taken directly to JAG nor would she have any reason at all to speak to a military prosecutor until a court martial had been decided upon. That can't be done until an article 32 investigation has been conducted. It's the military equivalent of a grand jury indictment.

Maybe I'm wrong and the world's fastest Article 32 got ram rodded through. Maybe somehow in eight hours the investigating officer managed to speak to "The bartender, the cops who arrested her, the guards at the jail, any inmate who saw/interacted with her." Plus get the hospital records of Blumer's treatment, which wouldn't have been written up yet.

Maybe all that happened.

Except it would take more than eight hours just to appoint the Article 32 investigating officer.

Fun bonus; Sabrina Erdley was a classmate of Steven Glass!

Blogger Cataline Sergius December 12, 2014 11:52 AM

It should be noted that if PO Blumer lost her TS security clearance because of a DUI (and that is pretty much automatic). She would have been a prime candidate for a trip to Afghanistan.

True. When you think about it, the 1950s America that feminists rail against was one of the best times in history to be a woman, at least from a material standpoint. Technological improvements (by men) meant she didn't have to pack water in from the well several times a day, hang clothes outside to dry year round, or many other boring and arduous tasks her grandmother did. Her housework no longer took more than a couple hours a day. Medical advances made childbirth safer than ever before. She could work outside the home or stay home, as she liked, without much criticism for either choice. Increasingly, she could take leadership positions in community and church groups if she wanted, and do what she wanted with most of her time. She had hit the sweet spot of comfort and freedom, enjoying an unprecedented combination of both.

It really was a great time to be a woman. It just wasn't a good time for a woman to be a man, so they had to tear it down and start over.

This scenario is actually common. I had a girl interested in me who pulled the "I was raped" crap once. I have also known friends with similar tales. Anecdotal? Yes and I grant that but it seems to be an awfully common occurrence. Women like this are too damn dumb to realize that what they find attractive isn't what a man finds attractive. If "chem guy" or whoever is madly in love with a girl the girl believes that makes her more attractive to the guy she really wants when in fact its a major turn off. If as a man you are already not interested in a girl the last thing that will increase your interest is competition for said girl. Having sex with this guy, consensual or not, makes it even worse. Even if "Randall" was maybe half interested now he's got a guaranteed non-virgin with mental issues. This is the supposed to make him more likely to pursue a girl he was not interested in at the start? Her better play would have been to hit the gym and play the part of a vestal virgin which would increase her attractiveness overall. Not that she was going to do this or that the virgin thing was true but lying is obviously on the table for her anyway so I doubt that would make much difference.

I don't know. I think Randall might have missed an opportunity. Sure you don't want to marry this girl but crazy pussy is oftentimes some of the very best to have. The only downside is the craziness after you fuck her but sometimes you gotta take care of business just because it's so easy & it's right there for the taking. Of course I don't know what this girl looks like so maybe it wasn't worth it, but typically if you spot crazy & they are interested then you have to do almost ZERO work to conquer that territory.

One of my coworkers has sons at UVA.

They are both in frats.

I enjoy taunting him -- "how does it feel to have sons who are rapists?"

BS, "don't stick your dick in crazy" exists for a reason...

You can't do local crazies.
There's still a few in other parts of the country that fully believe my name was, and are still looking for, Pig-Eye Jackson.

What part of "women ruin everything" do you not get?

What part of "women ruin everything" do you not get?

What part of sarcasm do you not get?

You mean the thing you can easily identify by using a "/s"(often known as a sarcasm tag) at the end of your post?

Clicking on the link posted by Danby led me to click on additional links until I found an article about the recent rape and murder of a college girl in Virginia, with the suspect now linked to a previous such incident five years earlier. The murdered girls were white, but you have to go way down in the article to find the race of the suspect. See if you can guess the race:
