Fire Irene Gallo

Hey, SJWs, do tell us again how it is totally unthinkable that anyone could lose a job as a consequence of a private Facebook post:
North Charleston police officer was fired from his position after posting a photo on Facebook featuring the Confederate flag. WCIV reports the post, which featured the officer wearing Confederate flag boxer shorts, went viral Thursday after it was posted a few days earlier.

The police chief terminated Sgt. Shannon Dildine’s position, saying the photo questioned his ability to improve trust and instill confidence between citizens and officers.

“Your posting in this manner led to you being publicly identified as a North Charleston Police officer and associated both you and the Department with an image that symbolizes hate and oppression to a significant portion of the citizens we are sworn to serve,” Police Chief Eddie Driggers wrote, as reported by WCIV.
The continued refusal of Tor Books to hold Irene Gallo responsible for her actions demonstrates that labeling Tor's customers "racist neo-Nazis" and Tor's own books "bad-to-reprehensible" is observably acceptable to its management, no matter what feeble protests Tom Doherty may offer.

Sgt. Dildine posted a picture of himself. Irene Gallo attacked her employer's customers, her employer's authors, and her employer's products. Why on Earth is she still employed by that employer?

"This is different, because those are inherently, intrinsically bad thoughts! I cannot be bothered to debate why, as I am inherently, intrinsically superior to you.

Instead, I shall snark all day and argue that nothing is inherently, intrinsically superior."

Any reason for a coproach to get fired is a good enough reason for me even if it's not otherwise just. They can beat, taze, & shoot innocent, unarmed people and get a paid vacation for their troubles but this is what they fire people over?

This is why we must use their own tactics against them. Disengage from all SJW's in your personal life and engage only as needed if at all in your professional life. Protect yourself.

Blogger swiftfoxmark2 June 26, 2015 3:58 PM

Difster,

Communists have always supported beating, torturing, and killing innocents. It's badthink that is their ultimate sin.

Know the real tragedy of all this stuff?

Liberalism/SJWism is basically the "shit test to the normals."

When you fail the shit test, the testers only get less happy, and more crazy.

How many shit tests did we fail in the last week? It's going to be amped up to 11 now.

"How many shit tests did we fail in the last week? It's going to be amped up to 11 now." - Anonymous

1.) We don't care.

2.) SJWs are always at 11 on outrage and being offended on behalf of others, and yet oddly enough we don't care.

Blogger Student in Blue June 26, 2015 4:25 PM

"shit test to the normals."

Funny enough, this makes a lot of sense, especially when you realize the heavily feminine mindset amongst the men. Never really thought about it that way.

@Elocutioner0226

You're too kind.

Seriously, you're too kind. I'll have to talk with Malwyn about scheduling a mandatory "Vileness" training for you.

Blogger Bastiat's Ghost June 26, 2015 4:25 PM

If only he would have killed a puupy or shot an unarmed suspect he could have still kept his job.

Blogger Elocutioner0226 June 26, 2015 4:30 PM

Whoa whoa whoa, that was a typo. I meant 7/10. Gawd, not another round of vileness training...

Anonymous T June 26, 2015 4:32 PM

I think shit testing is also a common feature of the moocher type in general, as a sort of probing mechanism to see what of material value they can extract.

Of course, evil being what it is, these people aren't happy. I don't think those shit testing for social manipulation 'deep down want to be stood up to' like the socio-sexual version, though.

Anonymous Anonymous June 26, 2015 4:42 PM

> 1.) We don't care.

It's not about caring about them. They don't care either, it's just random shit tests.

What you should care about is how much worse things will get for normals if they keep failing shit tests. If you fail the shit test, your life gets worsened with more shit tests. And it's our kids that will be getting shit-tested if we don't start passing them. Care about that.

(In case you aren't up on the lingo, you pass a shit test by resisting it, and stopping it cold-- it's not pass in the sense of doing something to be deemed worthy. A shit test is basically probing fire to see if you're weak).

Hey! Ho! Gallo must go!

Prog-chanting and yup what goes around comes back to bite ya! what fun

Anonymous DT June 26, 2015 4:52 PM

Let me get this straight. Things that will NOT result in an officer being fired:

* Signalling drug sniffing dogs to fake a discovery.

* Seizing cash on the side of a highway while claiming "muh drug money!" yet refusing to arrest or press any charges.

* SWAT raiding a house and shooting the occupants while claiming "muh officer safety!"

* Tossing flash bang grenades into baby's cribs.

* Shooting dogs for...any reason really.

Things that WILL result in an officer being fired:

* Wearing confederate flag boxers in a Facebook post.

I keep thinking I'm going to wake up in another world with God looking at me, laughing, and saying "Did you really think I would design a world like that? It was just a joke man! Those crazy people were all NPCs!"

No shit. "Symbolizing" oppression gets them fired, but killing innocent people doesn't.

We live in strange times.

If you are guilty of bad-think regarding same-sex marriage or the Confederate battle flag or (insert liberal agenda) you will find it difficult to be employed by any level of government or a large company with a HR Dept.

When enough people cannot find gainful employment, watch out.

I believe this is an error right here. SJWs are delusional, because they are trying to maintain a worldview at odds with reality. They do care, too much so really.

There are certainly opportunistic moochers amongst the SJWs, because they're easy money however. Those guys don't care.

Blogger Max Lybbert June 26, 2015 5:03 PM

It is an interesting view of the world that allows firing people for racism, but not for accusing others of racism. An awful lot like the view of the world that complains about witch hunts, or mentions that "it's just like 1984" but then discourages any kind of due process for people accused of sexual assault.

Assuming they don't care, and it's random shit testing (let's exempt the moochers from this, I agree with your synopsis there), you would expect them to exhibit insane passion for random, non-associated things at random times, each one the most important thing in the world at the moment of passion.

Anonymous Randy M June 26, 2015 5:19 PM

"Never before has someone been fired for posting their personal thoughts and our side would never do that (except for these few cases in which they obviously deserved it, of course, because racis) so it is entirely unreasonable and unprecidented for them to call for Gallo to be fired."

One of my favorite things about this site is that you get to learn a language and framework for describing the asininity and staggering hypocrisy of the typical SJW. It allows some reaction other than stupefaction.

The fact that there's passion, insane and random disregarding, seems evidence enough that they care about something.

McMillan make so much money selling useless, overpriced textbooks to captive-audience college students that I think they really don't care what happens to Tor Books. There is probably some VP at McMillan right now asking "Who is Tor Books? Do we own them?"

Ding Ding Ding. the Corps are in it for a much bigger purpose at this point. Even losing money is most likely very acceptable in order to push the lockdown - or as noted, they have other revenue streams, backed by the State, that makes these little protests "merrily rejected" (Don Henley)

And all the normals project honesty onto them. Same way that a man being given a shit test projects honesty and real concern onto the woman giving it.
