La Raza takes back California

I suppose I should be celebrating this news:
The demographers agreed: at some point in 2014, Latinos would pass whites as the largest ethnic group in California. Determining when exactly that milestone would occur was more of a tricky question. Counting people isn't like counting movie ticket receipts.

The official confirmation had to wait until new population figures were released by the Census Bureau this summer. The new tally, released in late June, shows that as of July 1, 2014, about 14.99 million Latinos live in California, edging out the 14.92 million whites in the state.
But really, I doubt even my old California grandparents, one of whom was half-Mexican, would have celebrated this. There is nothing magic about geography, this is the simple and straightforward Mexification of California. And speaking as a great-grandson of a Mexican revolutionary, I can assure you, sooner or later, they will claim it for la raza cósmica.

"The concept of La Raza can be traced to the ideas and writings of Jose Vasconcelos, the Mexican theorist who developed the theory of la raza cosmica (the cosmic or super race) at least partially as a minority reaction to the Nordic notions of racial superiority. Vasconelos developed a systematic theory which argued that climatic and geographic conditions and mixture of Spanish and Indian races created a superior race. The concept of La Raza connotes that the mestizo is a distinct race and not Caucasian, as is technically the case."

I look forward to hearing the complaints that I am a mestizo supremacist. And keep in mind that if there is one thing those of Spanish blood are good at, it is taking the long view towards Reconquista.

Does Mexico even want those Hispanics back? They have basically been able to solve their unemployment problem by shipping their surplus citizens off to another country.

I was born and raised in California. Left in 1999, miss it every day. When I left, my small family (we are a small branch of a Canadian family whose grandfather moved to SoCal for health reasons after losing one-and-a-half of his lungs) numbered in 28 persons. Today, only 3 of those 28 remain, and they are the children of the one member of my family that married a Mexican woman.

I remember thinking as a child, watching this happen, watching the disposible shit-filled diapers left everywhere, watching dirty, unkempt children running around knocking shit over, running right out into the busy streets without looking, seeing the DUI rate sky-rocket, hearing about drunk driving deaths every day, hearing about pedophile rape every day, watching as our public spaces became more and more ugly, more alien, listening to their one type of music--they only have one, and it's the same song, the same beat over and over and over--blaring out of the cars, houses and apartments, watching as every young woman between 17-25 was pregnant and pushing double strollers, watching as our beautifully kept neighborhoods became defaced with graffiti, then finally bars on windows, sometimes even crushed glass worked into the roof tiles, I remember all this and thinking...thinking..

...thinking, surely, some grown-up will stop this.

No one ever did.

It may be the left coast to you, or some damned hippie haven, but to me it's one thing and one thing only: my home.

You won't know the feeling of what it is to be a revolutionary until you've felt that, until that moment of despair hits you when you realize that your home has been stolen from you.

My understanding that among La Raza the goal is to make the northern Mexican states cede and then create the nation of Atzlan or Republic Del Norte. As to whether it will happen, time will tell.

You probably shouldn't be. Because some "Hispanics" are apparently more Raza qualified than others.

A business associate, who was not only Hispanic but who would never be confused with a Galician patrician or an Asturian, and although demonstrably of Mexican background, was as he informed me, nonetheless too Spanish seeming to qualify for the terms of the business loan he sought. "Sorry. You are not really 'Hispanic', Mr. Montoya" (Last name very slightly changed).

Not that I'll ever be a revolutionary, but this is happening in Texas too. It's a little too depressing to dwell on so I try to be apathetic about it. It's not like I'm ever going to encourage my neighbors of European descent to marry for life and have a lot of children like they used to do.

Mexicans:
Racial Characteristics:
Resembling the Spanish in all their more loathsome characteristics except lazier, dirtier, and more thieving. A large percentage of American Indian blood in the average Mexican deprives him of any natural human sympathies or moral sense and makes him a wholly unmanageable drunk. The principal industry of Mexico is the production of pornographic playing cards that depict their women corrupting the morals of donkeys. Completely untrustworthy, the Mexican will make food out of anything that will hold still, feed it to you, and charge you for it besides.
An attempt to conquer and hence eliminate this pesky breed of miscegenators was launched by our government during the last century, but wholesale nausea on the part of our troops, when they'd witnessed Mexican home life prevented our doing as thorough a job as we should have.

Accompanied Patrick this morning to court; the DA called it a 25 to Life case. The People wanted to up bail to $250,000, which would acknowledge a third strike the DA had overlooked at arraignment. Patrick, his mother, and girlfriend were visibly nervous. During a short recess, I asked them, "How about a word of prayer?" They shook their heads yes. We asked that Heaven's best will be done in court today. It was. The People's motion was dismissed; Patrick is still in the program. Back at the place I told Patrick, "The only thing remaining now is to thank God. Tell Jesus thanks. You witnessed it with your mind. You have it in your heart. Let it out of your mouth." Thank you Jesus for giving us standing in your court before your throne.

Also, Jimmy asked Jesus to be his Savior and Lord yesterday! "You know He is Savior. You know He is Lord. Ask Him to be your Savior and Lord." Jimmy did.

@MPC

Oh, man, that is old news. You just probably aren't aware of what is actually happening in California (not that that would be your fault, the MSM being what it is).

Example (and it's just one of many): From LA Times, July 30, 2014

More than three dozen alleged members and associates of a San Gabriel Valley gang said to be controlled by the Mexican Mafia were indicted on a range of murder, robbery, drug trafficking and other charges, federal officials announced Wednesday.

Of the 41 defendants named in the 167-page federal racketeering indictment, 17 were arrested Wednesday morning, 15 were already in custody and nine are still at large, according to the Department of Justice.

The El Monte Flores gang was formed in the 1960s and operates in El Monte and South El Monte. Since its origin, more than 800 people have been identified as members or associates, officials said. It receives direction from the Mexican Mafia prison gang, according to the indictment.

The investigating task force on the case included the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Internal Revenue Service's criminal investigation unit and the El Monte Police Department.
The 62-count indictment alleges that members of the gang commit violent crimes ranging from battery to murder, as well as robbery, burglary, carjacking, witness intimidation, kidnapping, weapons trafficking, credit card fraud and identity theft.

The indictment points to the execution of a former Mexican Mafia member and four other people in an El Monte home in 1995, alleging they were killed by co-conspirators hired by a gang member.

The indictment also alleges the gang commits hate crimes against blacks in El Monte and South El Monte "in an effort to rid these cities of all African Americans.”

I know, I know, you're shocked that this on-going war of Mexicans versus africans has been completely ignored.

Anonymous Jourdan July 08, 2015 6:11 PM

@NateM - Perhaps you are right with regard to the Treaty, but the birth of Calfiornia was different. A great number of very influential Mexicans joined with the European-American settlers there to build a commonwealth. They are part and parcel of our heritage and our state's founding fathers. (And keep in mind, and this is important, these were Mexicans choosing open armed revolt against Mexico)

This is why Californians are very, very careful when speaking of Mexican-Americans and Mexicans.

Most of the rest of the country doesn't get that. The Mexican-Americans I grew up with were by and large as appalled, if not more appalled, by the behavior of their cousins to the South.

In many cases I would have had no idea they had Mexican ancestry if they didn't mention it, especially since many seem just as gun-totin' disgusted-with-liberals rock-ribbed conservative as any white American.

According to the Census, there are over 30 million "Mexican Americans" but I wonder how many of those are obvious unassimilable Marxist mestizos, and how many are white. About half of them even claim to be white, whereas back in Me-hee-ko only about 10-15% of them do.

I wouldn't be so sanguine about a Mexianized California's prospects for revolution.

Mexicans in California will not leave the USA so long as the Feds keep social safety net programs going. They will probably turn the place into Puerto Rico where the locals use Spanish as an official language and pretend to be their own nation. But so long as money flows from the rest of the states, they will remain. Additionally, if CA is still part of the USA, they have the free movement of people provision, like Puerto Rick, and can depart CA for greener pastures in other states. If they were to break away, they'd lose that ability.

If the US ever goes bankrupt and can no longer splurge on the social safety net, then maybe they talk about independence. But unless and until that happens, why should they ruin a great thing. Best of all they get to be Mexicans and not have to live in Mexico. What could be better for them?

"Vasconelos developed a systematic theory which argued that climatic and geographic conditions and mixture of Spanish and Indian races created a superior race."

Having been to three Spanish speaking countries multiple times (excluding Spain which I was in for six months) I can say with good confidence that Vasconelos had a small wiener as his logical fallacy is what we would properly term grade A bull****.

People make the place. It is that simple. Even if it was created as a minority reaction to Nordic notions of racial superiority I just want to point out he was wrong.

"I don't see the Mexicans taking over Sacramento and then ceding control to Mexico City."

Maybe 25-50 years down the road that may change.

"Does Mexico even want those Hispanics back? They have basically been able to solve their unemployment problem by shipping their surplus citizens off to another country."

They do not. If you read Allan Wall's articles on VDARE you'll see in fact the darker they are, the lesser the elites want them around.

@Jourdan

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I am truly sorry to hear what became of your home. I lived in the High Desert near the NTC for 9 months. It was bad enough with the meth heads. The Hispanics (the ones that couldn't speak English) always made me wary.

"The highway signs are collecting more and more graffiti in the part of Bay Area where I live."

What struck me is where I lived how they had barbed wire around the interstate signs so people wouldn't steal them. That was a first for me, even south of the border they don't do that.

"You won't know the feeling of what it is to be a revolutionary until you've felt that, until that moment of despair hits you when you realize that your home has been stolen from you."

Though it has yet to happen to my state, which happens to me ancestral home state, it certainly has changed since living here and not for the better. I remember parts of downtown that were unsafe but at least it was populated by Americans! Now you hear Spanish and on the south side Burmese (thank you whoever brought them in). The town my family hails from (which is not where I live) has been overrun. At one point Arabic was the second most spoken language behind English.

Personally, I enjoy speaking foreign languages as it is a natural gift of mine (family is as white as can be). Having said that, it floors me that we as Americans allow this multicult invasion go unchecked. When I was down in Florida with a friend for UMF, I decided to see if anyone actually spoke English. I asked a pharmacy worker where aloe was for sunburn. He looked at me dumbfounded. I switched to Spanish and he directed me where to go. As soon as we were out of earshot, a friend who doesn't speak Spanish, said, "How about you (meaning the worker) @#$!ing speak English?" Remember language assimilation is a pre-req for actual assimilation.

Brett Baier previewed an interview with Jeb Bush and his plan to give LPR (Green) card amnesty to the (real number being) 30-40 million illegal aliens in this country when over 90 million are out of work, we're facing an H1B onslaught, all net job growth since 2000 has benefited immigrants, and there is increasing automation on the horizon. Yes Jeb, you have my vote /sarc.

Anonymous A Visitor July 08, 2015 8:15 PM

Believe me when you're told, there is no place to run to. Look at the demographics of any small country town and see how many aren't over run. If they aren't bet that they will be eventually.

"Not that I'll ever be a revolutionary, but this is happening in Texas too. It's a little too depressing to dwell on so I try to be apathetic about it. It's not like I'm ever going to encourage my neighbors of European descent to marry for life and have a lot of children like they used to do."

Saw it when I was living in Texas for grad school. If I can find a decent woman to marry, we are making a frickin army of whites.

I don't mean to be self centered in the above comment. It's just that I have quite a bit first hand knowledge of the subject and love sharing it.

Vox, I do second Cataline's suggestion you try for mestizo supremacist.

"That is a lot of white people who are going to end up as refugees in some unsuspecting red state."

Given how the government refused (at least initially, don't know if they made it in the end) Germans who were seeking to stay as refugees due to homeschooling illegality in Germany, what makes you think the whites would be taken in? Just sayin'.

"They can take the bear off the flag and insert a leaf blower now." LOL!

"Well now that whites are a minority, I suppose we will see them benefitting from such programs as affirmative action..." No, el gringo tiene que sufrir por los pecados capitales de la esclavitud de los negros y el racismo al menos por un siglo más.

Long ago an ancient people, a civilization and culture, were forced from
their sacred land and dispersed to live in foreign countries.
The memories of their homeland and rich spiritual heritage were not
forgotten and each succeeding generation longed for the eventual return
of their people to their holy land. Eventually they slowly immigrated back to their land. One day critical mass was reached and this special race finally
attained the majority of the population and they declared the land their own.
Civil unrest broke out as the current residents didn’t like being dispossessed of the land they considered theirs, too. Violence erupted and many people fled for safety in the countryside. When the fighting was over the people who had fled were not permitted to return to their homes and farms and means of livelihood. The land, the homes and the government were now under complete control of the immigrants who claimed the ancient land as their own. The disposed people became refugees and the neighboring states refused to accept the large numbers of homeless. The refugees were forced to live in camps in the desert. In the meantime, the immigrants who claimed their homeland anew called it Aztlan.

The people in the refugee camps in the desert....They are actually small cities with infrastucture, permanent buildings, a shitpile of NGO's delivering aid and comfort, which is pocketed by the refugee elites who send the money (billions) to places outside the "camps".
Meanwhile the Aztlanis provide them with health care and free energy, while countries all over the world send aid so they can build tunnels( instead of hospitals) to attack the Aztlanis, and fire thousands of rockets into Aztlani territory.

In other words, boo f*cking hoo.

59. Mr.MantraMan

so the Cultural Marxists can hit you with their invective of "racist", "sexist", "homophobe"

The concept of La Raza can be traced to the ideas and writings of Jose Vasconcelos, the Mexican theorist who developed the theory of la raza cosmica (the cosmic or super race) at least partially as a minority reaction to the Nordic notions of racial superiority. Vasconelos developed a systematic theory which argued that climatic and geographic conditions and mixture of Spanish and Indian races created a superior race.

How come these theories are not racist? This is straight up master race stuff. You would think they were Jewish or something.

Why is scientific race realism racist and that gets a pass?

These are simply rhetorical questions, but why is no one making an issue of it? You would think the ACLU or some such would do so, wouldn't you?

The cultural Marxists and Progressives who are always calling for race and class wars will soon see just what real race and class wars look like. The only difference is they always thought the wars would be everyone against the "whites", not Mexicans vs Blacks vs Asians.....

"Vasconelos developed a systematic theory which argued that climatic and geographic conditions and mixture of Spanish and Indian races created a superior race"

Well, comforting to hear. Systematic too! wasn't that clever of the Wise Latino? And with all that Racial Raza Superiority on their side, they definitely won't have any problem making it rain.

Re-conquest that.

...when you realize that your home has been stolen from you.

Not stolen. Given away. Allowed to be ruined. Sold for cheap political purposes. Sold for payoffs from white California businessmen.

I'm from California and I watched the greatest state in the union be almost completely ruined by Mexicans because of Democrats and Republicans. At least the dirty Dems were more upfront about what they wanted to do. The traitorous Republicans always talked the talk but sold us out year after year after decade.

Can't really blame the Mexicans-- they merely took advantage of weakness. They weren't ever going to assimilate with those porous borders producing such numbers. It could have worked if we let them in little by little, but once the Dems started smelling votes and the Repubs as always looked for the money-- it was over.

Funny to hear so many people across the country complaining about it. I remember telling people in various places around the country how it would be coming to them and ruining their towns-- and even the supposed conservatives would tsk tsk us as racist alarmists.

By 2050, California will either be part of some renewed Anglo US (or fragment thereof) nation, or it'll be owned by China or Russia. Whatever happens, the Mexifornians won't hold it long, and there won't be many of them left a hundred years from now.

the theory of la raza cosmica (the cosmic or super race) at least partially as a minority reaction to the Nordic notions of racial superiority.

It's not about a reaction to a white race-- it's standard human behavior. I've been in many places around the world and have had contact in work and play and tourism with all sorts of races, peoples, nationalities, tribes etc. I haven't met one race or people yet which doesn't think of themselves as superior or special in some way. They may look at themselves as currently down or oppressed or whatever but they see themselves as superior "if things were just slightly different" or "if it wasn;t for the war" or "if it wasn't for this or that colonial power". In Africa there are tribes and peoples who to an outsider look like not much at all but to themselves they are superior to all the other tribes in their country. The mistake Americans make is seeing the world essentially a combination of "It's A Small World Rainbow Of Love" and "Wow What Wonderful Restaurant Choices We Have". Most of the rest of the world--nations races tribes peoples-- has a mindset of We Are Special. We Will Take What Is Yours If You Are Stupid Enough To Give It To Us.

Our stupidity only reinforces the idea that they are indeed superior and special.

It's really sad. My great-grandparents came to California as stoop labor in the 30's. I was born in 1970 and at about age 5 or 6 remember my dad telling my grandfather that he had to start locking his front door. Soon after my grandfather's tools were stolen out of his truck. I remember his confusion: essentially, "what man takes another man's *tools*?"
Our town became a Mexican majority in about 1985. They put up an ugly fence around the high school in about '90. The SWAT has been called in several times because of nortenos and surenos gangs. The town is violent and full of crime. Can't go downtown at night anymore. Country roads full of garbage. My dad regularly picks up garbage from his road, including dirty diapers. It's true.

Mexican Americans

Blogger Groot July 09, 2015 1:45 AM

Born and raised in California. I've lived in Orange County and Silicon Valley all of my life. But I live in Silicon Valley now, and it is like the Hunger Games, where we're the capitol. There are two kinds of Mexicans here.

First, there's the kind that attend the private schools my kids go to, and they are like what 33. Corvinus observes: slightly ethnic maybe, but you don't notice, and they're oblivious. Lot of Indians (from India), etc., here, and they're smart and entrepreneurial though very dark, so half-Mexican is white.

The second kind are the maids, carwashers, gardeners, fast-food workers, and other help. They are subservient and so poor that they are like a different species. Little, brown, ugly, fat, and even the pretty girls have a shelf-life of about 18 or 19. They all have long commutes in crappy freeways to get to our non-shit-holes to service us.

And to 64. GreyS: What Republicans? They're all SJWs. The irony of hearing my kids come home to tell me that their teachers (at a private school) say that Republicans are evil because they're all rich, preached by these 1 percenters is... not exactly funny. But we have our no-build zones, and our super-environmentalism, and every other hypocritical mechanism to keep our housing values sky-high and the undesirables out, while preaching our do-gooderism.

The irony is, all these people cleaning and gardening and washing cars in the nice part of town could make their home towns equally nice by just keeping doing the same things when they get home.

"The People's motion was dismissed; Patrick is still in the program"

How upsetting for The People. Did they miss dinner afterward?

Hey praying to Jesus worked for Patrick maybe The People should try it sometime.

I don't know about a cosmic super race but Mexicans are primarily composed of two exceptional cultures and peoples.

The first being the Aztecs who are one of a handful of cultures that invented a written language whole-cloth without any outside influence.

The second being the Spanish who conquered a people that invented a written language.

#61 Zeno all I can say it is part and parcel of the left to not be congruent but a clusterfuck. Sure they have the "common enemy" but the rest is a hodge podge of cults.

To keep this short and to the point we were talking about, White Nationalism is a fail it being swamped under the propaganda of that fraud "anti-racism" and white children will learn nothing about race from WN, nothing. BUT they will get a Phd in race from all the groups on the Left, they are literally racial theorists. Hell Scalzi lets that black racial theorist so called science fiction writer blabber on about racial theory at his blog, Jemima something or another.

It may be the left coast to you, or some damned hippie haven, but to me it's one thing and one thing only: my home.

No it's not. You bailed.

Second, I'm happy to say, we Californians banned leaf-blowers years and years ago.

No wonder it is going downhill. Give up very useful tools and things are harder than they should be!

I have noticed where I work in the San Francisco Bay Area, all the teen Latino queens running around with 3 or 4 kids. It is quite amazing how they push them out and still keep the figure. I suspect like tribbles, they are born pregnant.

Teens nowadays seem to be rougher and tougher than in the past. I suppose a moral turnaround is way in the future.

As for now, Idaho is looking more civilized to me.

Anonymous GreyS July 09, 2015 4:13 PM

What Republicans? They're all SJWs.

Not back then they weren't. They were simply politicians interested in money and career politics. Can't tell you how many times they took a well-meaning conservative businessman who was interested in helping his state, then fashioned him into just another cog in the machine who would talk the game but sell us out behind the scenes. So many held press conferences down by San Ysidro or ChulaJuana during election time playing up their "strong border stance" then after winning they'd sell us out just like all the rest. The dumbass traitors sold us out and over time lost their own voters in the process. I blame the Republicans for California more than I do the Dems and certainly more than I blame the Mexicans. Pretty simple-- when you live next to a third world country those people will want to come and if you let too many in it will change your country too much and possibly ruin it. Everybody knew it, everybody said it. The big problem was that too many people trusted the Repubs to battle it. By the time we knew they were traitors it was too late.

78. Amok Time: Those Latino girls you see with good figures are not running around with their own 3 or 4 kids, those are their big sister's kids. Those girls often peak at 15, or even 13. The 20 year old Mexican mothers with 3 or 4 kids look like potatoes.

Blogger Groot July 10, 2015 3:51 AM

@Discard:

I agree. Honestly and objectively, that expiration date has long since passed. I personally like the darker skin, as it hides the imperfections, but fat, pot-bellies, and sags do not pass muster. A late-teens Mexican is like a mid-30's white chick. Have some standards, man.

Anonymous Discard July 10, 2015 8:40 PM

Groot: To be fair and to stick up for my friends, there are Mexican mothers, including dark ones, who hang together very well. Interestingly, judging by my schoolteaching experience, they are generally smart and strong-willed as well. Looking good at 25 is not a marker for intelligence and character among Whites, but it seems to be the case for Mexican women.

Blogger Groot July 13, 2015 9:23 AM

@Discard:

You are right. That's the danger with generalizations, and my popping off in response to images that come to mind. They can be quite beautiful and they are not all one thing. That's a point I was trying poorly to make, that they can integrate. There is a lower stratum, for whatever reason, though, that is despised even in Mexico, and they can be characterized visually.

Anonymous Discard July 14, 2015 2:26 AM

Groot: Gorditas.
