Man does that cover pop! It's like a billboard. Now I'm dreaming about hanging out at a coffee shop in the U district, or a cafeteria at a court house, or?, enjoying a friendly conversation while the book sets up on the table. A bus goes by with an ad for it on the side. Certain people around it are having some sort of violent health problem, like in a Twilight Zone episode or a Dracula movie. We carry on our conversation.

Just out of curiosity -- was the title of Mel Gibson's film ever corrected? It was incorrectly rendered in the Kindle version as Temptation of the Christ. (It is, of course, The Passion of the Christ.)

The print run definitely ran out, though they say they will take an order to ship when they get more.
I wish they could get the price down to $5.99 or so, but I will probably buy 2 myself anyway.

More or less. Fortunately, we have full publisher status through Ingram so they'll be rapidly restocked, if they haven't been already. What a lot of people don't realize is that all the major publishers are now using POD for Amazon too. They mostly do print runs for the physical stores.

It's all those SJWs buying the book so Vox will be too rich and busy to keep humiliating them.

Just order it despite the "out of stock". They'll be sent directly to you from Ingram. A couple of days' delay, and nothing more.
For future reference, all our titles, now and in the future, will be print-on-demand. The way it works is that Amazon keeps a small buffer of books in their stock, based on how the book is selling. They constantly re-stock it as books are sold. While the buffer is not empty, this guarantees fastest delivery.
However, when it does run empty, then the book starts showing "temporarily out of stock". But that just means that now the orders go to Ingram's POD queue, and get sent from there to the customers as new copies get printed. This is only a few days' delay.
I think Amazon should show some less concerning text than that for POD books.

I did not e-mail Vox but I did post a notification about this, and a few other typos, in comments on this blog when the book first came out. The Temptation error was the most significant one that I found; the rest were minor, if I recall correctly.
I do indeed have version 002. It's not a big deal, really. I was just hoping that the correction had been made for the print version (which is for gifting). If it has been, that's great.

BTW, have you thought about donating either digital or paper copies to public libraries? Once digitally in a library's stacks, it will get large use. Have to pick a time in the future when the cost due to lost revenue is made up by the added value by the spread of the message.
I've got the Kindle for myself. Ordered the paperback for others.
The book has gone from out of stock to in stock multiple times today, and is currently in stock. So, the buffer is clearly being replenished in terms of just some hours, and the delay for placing the order while out of stock will be even smaller than usual.
