Time runs out for the traitoress

It will be interesting to see if Merkel survives long enough to be put on trial for her crimes against Germany and the German people:
Merkel Increasingly Isolated

The griping over Merkel's policies has grown louder within her own party, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The meetings of the party's parliamentary group, which for many years radiated the boredom of an English gentleman's club, now resemble tribunals against the chancellor. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble, the strong man in Merkel's cabinet, also expressed his own dissatisfaction, in distant Peru, by cracking jokes about border controls in the former East Germany.

Merkel is looking increasingly isolated. Government sources say she has made refugee policy her personal concern, and now she is being left to deal with it on her own. Last week, Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière confided in his Luxembourg counterpart, telling him that Merkel did not have a plan, only "cold feet."
It's not my concern. I'm not German and I am not subject to jury duty in Germany. But I will say that if I were, I would most certainly vote to find her guilty of crimes against Germany as well as crimes against humanity. She is personally responsible for the deaths of thousands of civilians already.

To top it all off, the Merkel crisis is going to drive Germany into the red this year. She is, without question, the worst leader that Germany, East, West, or United, has had since Hitler.

Obviously the trial should take place at Nuremberg.

From what I gather not even the Left is giving her the "new found respect" they gave all the trucklers of the past, that has to hurt. But then again I personally do not read the NYTs and maybe I missed it.

Personally I think it high time we start selling SJWs to the brave warriors of Islam, if the SJW won't willingly submit to the brave warriors of Islam then the SJWs can fight (laugh if you must)

Technical question, is there any way to cross ISIS' and the SJWs' Twitter streams? This could facilitate sales of SJWs to the brave warriors of Islam and hence monetize Twitter's lame ass stock, a twofer maybe threefer.

No doubt Merkel will have the standard liberal defense... "But... I was just trying to help! Someone had to do something!"

Not easily, because last I heard, they both use the same blockbot. No, I'm not kidding.

No votes for Erich Honecker as worst? No? Too bad. I guess Leonid Brezhnev thought he was all right. Though that famous photo of those two kissing is pretty repugnant.

Seriously, Merkel is making a mess. Obama is making a mess. Cameron is making a mess. I have mixed feelings about Putin and Xi Jinping. Shinzo Abe...I have no idea what to think about him. 3 out of 3 isn't bad?

When I tell relatives that currently about 10,000 "refugees" are arriving each day, they do not believe me. The numbers are right there in the news to see, but people seem not able to comprehend them. They read "409,000 new arrivals" like in the linked article and it is automatically filed as "during this year" even though it says "during this month" right there in the sentence. Even for fairly intelligent and conservative people, their main concern is still about how this might cause xenophobia and help the evil right-wing parties. When the cent finally drops, there will be hell to pay.

Blogger VD October 26, 2015 9:34 AM

Shinzo Abe...I have no idea what to think about him.

Very bad. He changed the constitution to permit Japan to send its military abroad again and launched a massive expansion of government spending in a failed attempt to revive the economy. But not Merkel-bad.

Even for fairly intelligent and conservative people, their main concern is still about how this might cause xenophobia and help the evil right-wing parties.

As PJ O'Rourke once noted, you could tell people that 10,000 people died in a train accident in Bangledesh and no one would bat an eye.

Abe was actually in town (Tajikistan) to try to find some more markets for Japanese stuff. I knew about the military and have been hearing about Abe-nomics. The military thing is kind of a natural consequence of the U.S. fecklessness. (Not that a re-militarized Japan will do anything good for the region.) But I haven't really looked into Abe-nomics. You make it sound like the usual failed Keynesian formula, Vox.
But since Japan is still Japanese that does put in a bracket above Merkel.

Blogger hadley October 26, 2015 10:01 AM

@11: I expect that Merkel has radically beefed up her security. Her refugee dumping assumes a level of charity and self-sacrifice/self-extinction that even diehard SJWs and Social Democrats cannot sustain.

As "1984" explains, totalitarian social engineering like this must happen slowly enough that the past can be rewritten and forgotten:"We have always been at war with Eastasia".

If Merkel had bumped up the number of refugees gradually over a couple decades she could have pulled it off. But not in the space of six months or a year.

Too many people will remember that "last year the refugee center was a tourist hotel, girls weren't raped, and there were plenty of jobs."

"Even for fairly intelligent and conservative people, their main concern is still about how this might cause xenophobia and help the evil right-wing parties."

If these individuals were genuinely "fairly intelligent and conservative," then their most ardent and urgent wish would be that this would cause "xenophobia" (translation: a legitimate desire of self-preservation and cultural preservation) and help the "evil right-wing" (translation: only sensible) "parties."

It's a simple, if despicable and unsucessful, triangulation strategy. They're trying to gain power by telling two opposing groups that they - the cuckservatives - are the only ones who can keep the scary people in the other group away from your door.

It worked for a little while, until liberals decided to just be liberals and chucked their own moderates out of the party. The liberals don't listen to the cuckservatives any more, so the cucks are left telling their own base that it's dangerous and needs to be held in check.

Evil is patient when out of power, but impatient once it's in power. Once it seizes power, the clock is ticking before things start to fall apart due to evil's basic ineptitude. So it has to rush it's plans and use the institutions it's gotten control of while those institutions still have residual power.

My brother and I were discussing this very thing just the other day. They generally have no conception of long-term objectives and planning. Security now. What is expedient now. Also, when they fail, there's enough blame to go around for everyone except them, which is precisely what Merkel is doing. Notice her tactic of guilting the rest of Europe into "doing their part" because she FUBAR. Preserving her precious image is everything.

There's an old Robin William's joke from way back about women leaders who would never make a weapon that destroys anything, just one that makes everyone feel bad for a awhile. Turns out he was right on.

* Analyse nature of the problem.
* Identify what "fixed" would look like.

1. Engineers call this a runaway process. Two back-to-back double-downs = a quadruple-down.

2. One of the most startling revelations to come from the 2015 Hugo* campaign is that when the city-of-evil is under siege, its inhabitants do most of the razing themselves: and cheer it on! (This somehow ties together with 1. and 3. but I lost the train.)

3. A few weeks ago, a VP commenter wrote that 'in the past year or so, the left has gone from incipient triumphal parade to quietly counting the campfires in the night, out past the city walls'. (paraphrased) The "Social Justice" page at Wikipedia is an excellent example. If you search Wiki for "Social Justice Warrior" it redirects to Social Justice- but there was a separate SJW page until a few months ago. Now almost one-half of the notes for "Social Justice" are about #gamergate! We learn that SJW became a derogatory term around 2010! Mining the edit pages turns up other interesting things. Congrats again to #gamergate!

Merkel represents the softer, gentler side of Germany. Anything else and the anti-german lobby would look for any excuse to tighten the screws. IOW, it's a no-win situation for the German people AS LONG AS they are tied to other nations. Believe me, Germans would love to have nothing to do whatsoever with the English, Italians, Russians, muslims etc because of the above reason: the deck is always stacked against them.

German industriousness and determination makes this small country into an powerhouse that causes major pangs of envy among the lessers.

The solutions seems to be a cyclical 'cleaning-house' or reshuffling of the deck in order to flush out the leeches. Since we're pointing fingers, where the f#ck is OBAMA during this muslim invasion?

Every where there is a large concentration of unintegrated Muslim immigrants there are regions local law enforcement do not go. That sounds like an invasion by the 5th column to me. How is importing another 800K+ people to suck at public benefits while refusing to integrate going to improve the situation? How much worse must it get? What the hell are our "leaders" doing?!?
