It's a little late now, multicultis

After 30 years of stumping for it, the New York Times belatedly develops some concerns about the consequences of mass migration:
They arrived in an unceasing stream, 10,000 a day at the height, as many as a million migrants heading for Europe this year, pushing infants in strollers and elderly parents in wheelchairs, carrying children on their shoulders and life savings in their socks. They came in search of a new life, but in many ways they were the heralds of a new age.

There are more displaced people and refugees now than at any other time in recorded history — 60 million in all — and they are on the march in numbers not seen since World War II. They are coming not just from Syria, but from an array of countries and regions, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza, even Haiti, as well as any of a dozen or so nations in sub-Saharan and North Africa. They are unofficial ambassadors of failed states, unending wars, intractable conflicts.

The most striking thing about the current migration crisis, however, is how much bigger it could still get....

Nor is it only the Middle East and North Africa that European leaders need to consider. The Gallup Poll, based on data compiled from more than 450,000 interviews in 151 nations from 2009 to 2011, found that in Nigeria, which already has double the population of Germany, 40 percent of people would emigrate to the West if they could. And the lesson of 2015 — for them and much of the world — is that they can.

While the flow of migrants to Europe this year already represents the biggest influx from outside the Continent in modern history, many experts warn that the mass movement may continue and even increase — possibly for years to come.
At least we know what the cause of World War III will be. Don't ever forget who was responsible: the anti-nationalists who have championed open borders and multiculturalism. They are responsible. The bloodshed will be on their hands.

It's time to start making a list, complete with quotes and links, of those on the Left and Right who have championed immigration and open borders. The future needs to know who were the destroyers of Western Civilization, so they will recognize the same arguments being made next time. If you've got a candidate, post it here.

My first candidate: David Brooks.

Globalization, with all its stresses and strains, has created a large international class of middle-class dreamers: university graduates who can’t fulfill their aspirations at home and who would enrich whatever nation is lucky enough to have them.... The Republican Party is insane if its conducts a 21st-century immigration policy based on stereotypes from the 1980s.

It is time for the Men of the West to rise and defend their nations, as they have repeatedly done before. Hungary, Norway, and Germany are waking up. The Men of Poland are rising.

Ted Kennedy, on the 1965 Immigration Act:

“First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same…

Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset… Contrary to the charges in some quarters, [the bill] will not inundate America with immigrants from any one country or area, or the most populated and deprived nations of Africa and Asia…

In the final analysis, the ethnic pattern of immigration under the proposed measure is not expected to change as sharply as the critics seem to think… The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs.”

Bear markets coincide with pandemics. It is utterly certain that a future headline will read that immigrant-carried multi-drug resistant TB is sweeping Minnesota or other heartland community.

When the rationale for mass deportation arises it won't be political, it will be far more visceral.

“We believe that cultural pluralism is the very essence of Canadian identity. Every ethnic group has the right to preserve and develop its own culture and values within the Canadian context. Wesley Clark, U.S. General, 1999:

“Let’s not forget what the origin of the problem is. There is no place in modern Europe for ethnically pure states. That’s a 19th century idea and we are trying to transition into the 21st century, and we are going to do it with multi-ethnic states.”

I'll give a more obscure example: Elizabeth Scalia.

What was really obnoxious to me was her amateur reverse psychology move of 'Silly gooses, the Democrats WANT you to oppose illegal immigration so you can be painted as racists. Which, by the way, you are. The SMART thing to do would be to make everyone a citizen. Don't you want to be smart?'

The ending:

I know I will get all kinds of emails (because comments are closed until my pneumo-coughs are gone) yelling “Anchoress! Anchoress! How dare you call us reactionary Pavlovian dogs! You see the pictures! You see the dumping! Should we just let it go on?”

Well, no. You should have backed the immigration reform bill George W. Bush offered in 2006. Move beyond the wall of “no” and take control of the issue by writing and passing a truly comprehensive immigration reform — something beyond “first build the fence and secure the borders, then we’ll talk”, which clearly is not working. Until you do that, conservatives, you’re just going to get played again and again on this issue. Every midterm.

There you have it, folks: the way for conservatives who are anti-immigration is to 'take control of the issue' by... giving up completely.

Jeffrey Tucker:

"The more you look into the research, the more these objections fall away. Immigrants cause less crime than natives. Immigration does not cause unemployment. Immigrants don’t consume more public benefits than natives; in fact, they use fewer. Indeed, they have kept Social Security afloat, even though they will never get a dime from the system. They don’t love liberty less: They poll in as more libertarian. Indeed, every one of these and other claims in Trump’s immigration policy paper are patently wrong."

There is just a time and occasion when bloodletting must take place. It matters not to the soldier what the enemy is, only that it is the enemy. Kill it now, and your children will never have to worry about it.

Bob Wenzel, sadly, subscribes to the Magic Dirt theory:

http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2015/09/immigration-myths-with-ben-powell.html

"When immigration occurs by those seeking jobs as opposed to government handouts, it is a net plus for an economy."

There are other links where he doesn't outright endorse unlimited immigration (unlimited as long as they earn their keep, mind you), but it's clear where his sympathies lie.

I commented recently on one of his posts on the subject. He asked something to the effect of why is immigration such a problem. I responded and brought in a few reasons gleaned from Vox's many posts. My comment was never approved. Bob usually welcomes debate and even though his site is moderated, this was the first time a comment of mine didn't get the nod. Methinks he didn't like where I was going in my reply.

So if the bloodshed that's coming is the responsibility of those who favored open immigration, by the same logic isn't every gun death the responsibility of every gun owner? The blood of every person killed by guns is on your hands.

VD already answered it, but another way to look at it is via responsibility. If you own a gun, you are responsible for yourself and the actions that result from using said gun. You have no responsibility for the jealous spouse who murders their loved one in a fit of rage, because you are not them, and you are not expected to be responsible for them. Now, you probably have some responsibility if you urged said spouse to grab a gun and get to murdering, as you are now an accomplice to murder.

The leaders in charge of a country, have responsibility for a country, and the results of actions taken regarding a country's security. Therefore, if their actions kill a lot of their citizens now or in the near future, that blood is on their hands. Likewise, if someone who is *not* a leader in charge of a country similarly urges a leader to commit an action that kills a lot of citizens, they are an accomplice to murder and blood is on their hands.

There's nothing wrong with legal immigration; it means you get to say 'no' to the request. Illegal immigration is a giant 'f@ck you' to the right of Americans to determine whether or not the petitioner will be of any benefit to the country he or she wishes to join--or indeed if he or she actually wants to be a part of us.

The dirty secret most people refuse to discuss on the subject of immigration, legal or not is that most "immigrants" aren't. They're not here to join us, they're here to act as a funnel for whatever wealth can be siphoned off and sent out of the country to their point of origin and later once accumulated they fully intend to return home to where their true heart is. This is why they do not adapt at all to their host country; it's not their home.

This is why liberals who themselves hate their country don't understand the anger we feel--they'd don't feel the insult, of being unwanted, used, taken advantage of for gain without recompense. They don't see the middle finger the flouting of our laws represents because they themselves feel the same way and they cannot conceive of how anyone could love their country the way we do. So they miss the parasites for what they are because they feel a false kinship with them.

Legal immigrants are different, assuming they meet the criteria. They want to join us, not change us. They''re coming here to be a part of who we are. They like the country and seek to stay here and contribute. It's an entirely different mindset.

Legal immigrants are no different. All immigration beyond a small percentage of the native population is intrinsically bad, destructive to the nation, and has historically led to war. You are a liar and you are an enemy of the US Constitution.

Germany’s interior ministry said last week that there had been 576 crimes against refugee shelters this year so far, compared to 198 in all of the last year.

Vox, I think your list is going to look too long. For it is the deep state in the West that was invaded by the Alinskyites, and got the immigration rules changed, an antiracist agenda in the schools, while their fellow travellers destroyed the mainline protestant churches and almost the Orthodox and Catholics.

I'm also fairly sure that the war is happening. ISIS claimed to shoot down a Russian plane -- the morons know not that the bear should not be roused from sleep, because the Rodina considers making a desert reasonable collateral damage for ensuring peace.

And in the West, the battles will not be fought by states against states, but on the streets, the invaders against the natives.

When you see the Orangemen fighting with the IRA you will truly know that the battle has been joined. For the Papists and Prods will stop arguing about the church when their daughters are violated.

Which may be why Ulster is being spared at present.

Logic and dialectic are useless.

The more I think about rhetoric and the phrases "Magic Dirt," and "Cargo Cult," the more I think we need to mainstream the hell out of them. When you explain them briefly to just about anyone, they laugh at the complete absurdity of anyone thinking that way, because they don't think it applies to THEM. They laugh at OTHERS that might think that way. They'd never start wiping with their left hand if they moved to someplace that didn't have toilet paper, or use "local remedies" if they get sick, they'd assure you, they'd find a way to keep "civilized" culture with them. Similarly, they have some idea that food doesn't just magically appear in the grocery store for them to pick up for free, they have to pay for it, and it comes from farms.

Then point out that they are magically expecting illegal immigrants, who show open contempt for our border laws and then sign up for welfare benefits, and you can quickly connect the dots that those supporting open borders and the welfare state are the cargo cultists and magic-dirt faithful. Ask them if they will personally apologize face-to-face to the parents of a daughter raped or murdered by an illegal immigrant, and explain why the policies they support are worth the cost. Ask if they will personally make increased welfare donations to support illegals looking to take their jobs, or if they will only ask the government to take "someone else's money." Make the rhetoric personal.

Ayn Rand: "I have never advocated that anyone has the right to pursue his self-interest by law or by force. If you close the border to forbid immigration on grounds that it lowers your standard of living – which certainly is not true, but even assuming it were true – you have no right to bar others. Therefore to claim it’s your self-interest is an irrational claim. You are not entitled to any self-interest which injures others, and the rights of others, and which you cannot prove in fact, in reality to be valid."

This jewess could have stated in a far less wordy way that Americans have no right to close their borders. - Grinder

@48 There is plenty wrong with "legal" immigration--the politicians can and will ignore legal restrictions and game the system given a chance. In any event, it will lower wages and bring in unassimilable minorities...The Japanese and American labor (formerly) understood this....

All immigration beyond a small percentage of the native population is intrinsically bad

It was the idea of this small percentage I was advocating for. As in legal immigration is fine, so long as it's limited and restricted. The traditional complaint by leftists when legal immigration is brought up is always that it's too hard to do legally--to which I have replied 'good that means it's working to weed out those who don't belong here.' That's all I was saying.

You are a liar

I dispute this, I spoke my thought. I will be silent now and try to educate myself better so I don't make a fool out of myself any further, but it was ignorance that made me speak so, not malice.

It was the idea of this small percentage I was advocating for.

You should note that first, next time.

There's far too many people who are concerned with legal vs illegal immigration, as if A) the Somalian refugees in Minnesota are here illegally, and B) just because they aren't here illegally means they aren't doing damage.

It's not legality, it's numbers. It's just far more politically expedient to talk about illegal immigration because that's where the numbers are right now.

"Really? A baseball bat? That's ineffective."

Actually, blunt weapons and the occasional .22 pistol seem to be the preferred weapons of adept street crime these days. It's also key to travel in a group, because the legal system weights each witness equally. See James LaFonde.

Bats are situational, but saps can be carried. Or maybe a cane. Edged weapons and guns get much heavier punishments.

Drawing a weapon on an attacking gang is a terrible idea because you will be seen as the aggressor in court. "He just attacked us." Likewise, killing someone is worse than maiming.

The problem with armed self defense is winding up in prison, disarmed and defenseless. Raep.

The best anti-surveillance tool is a baseball cap pulled low. Pro tip: wear a body cam.

Indeed. I differ with many Objectivists on this score, on the same grounds as the essay you linked: Ayn Rand wrote nothing of substance on immigration. She was expressly and explicitly pro-civilization, and in our current climate I have little doubt how she would see Islam and the Islamic world. She would probably agree with description of Muslim migrants coming to Europe: invasion, especially given the utter lack of interest that many of them have in actually being European.

"Or she may have liked the bill – at last the gates of Vienna shall be opened – but was unwilling to defend it publicly."
This quote from the article makes no sense. Ayn Rand went as far as to justify the conquest of the American West, to defend English as the most useful language that humanity had ever developed, and to champion capitalism and America per se. The idea that she would applaud this would only make sense if you operate under the assumption that she accepted the "magic dirt" notion. But that wouldn't square with anything else she wrote on any subject. She wrote continually on the subject of context-dropping and the damage that the Left was doing to the West.

Honestly, while I can't say exactly why she didn't say anything about it, I *can* say that this sentence is nuts.

Reagan wasn't a cuckservative. He was simply an elderly optimistic dumbass.

30 years ago Reagan was oblivious to an essential fact:
Racial Capitalism inexorably leads to Racial Socialism.

The low I.Q. blacks and browns will temporarily improve the bottom line, but as they become more at home they will revert to their natural behavior which made their home countries poor, oppressive, and criminally violent. They will also loyally align with the Left and enthusiastically engage in racial thievery on every level.

Most people don't seem to be able to see all of the pieces of the puzzle. Even Ann Coulter, when interviewed about stopping mass immigration, was asked, "What if the companies go to other countries for cheaper labor?", and she paused for a very, very long time and then slowly replied, "I don't think they would.". As with most people, she apparently hasn't thought it through fully. She should have replied, "If there were tariffs that were high enough they wouldn't leave and effective trickle down economics would work and the American middle class wouldn't be destroyed by 3rd world labor.". Instead, she simply left it at, "I don't think they would.".

Trump's correct on this. The Obama Dynasty is glutting the nation with 'immigrants' -- especially his beloved mooslims -- for reasons already known. Mostly political scamming, plus hatred of Mean Old Sexist/Racist America.

New America is a nation of spoiled-brats, with occasional exceptions, and empowered widdle beebies do not start at the bottom, they demand to start at the middle, or (hello Barry and Mooch!) even start at the top. Otherwise they are Oppressed and Abused. Then they screech that they weren't made King and Queen sooner, and await everybody's apology.

In Bad Old America, doing lowly grunt work was seen as necessary for character-formation, and indeed required to prevent the citizenry from becoming Precious Princesses. Because Precious Princesses don't clean hotel rooms or bus tables or scrub the office bathroom. Without immies, fat-assed Gimme Americans with way too much money and Homeland Security wouldn't have any 'travel staff'. To say the least.

Trump needs to shut off the Demoncrap supply-lines, sure, but he's realistic (or perhaps simply capitalistic) enough to recognize that Glutted Amerika is now useless and helpless. Only a minority of the native citizenry is now willing to WORK to sustain the empire that somebody else built. And no Obie, you and your fellow-travelers did not build that. Nor do you maintain that.

@57 D'oh! Managed to miss an entire critical clause there. To clarify:
Then point out that they are magically expecting illegal immigrants, who show open contempt for our border laws and then sign up for welfare benefits, to magically think, work, and act like civilized locals and obey the law because of the magic dirt in town, and the immigrant's benefits will come in on a cargo ship from "somewhere else," and you can quickly connect the dots that those supporting open borders and the welfare state are the cargo cultists and magic-dirt faithful.

"Our world is facing a refugee crisis of a magnitude not seen since the Second World War. This presents us with great challenges and many hard decisions. On this [North American] continent, too, thousands of persons are led to travel north in search of a better life for themselves and for their loved ones, in search of greater opportunities. Is this not what we want for our own children? We must not be taken aback by their numbers, but rather view them as persons, seeing their faces and listening to their stories, trying to respond as best we can to their situation. To respond in a way which is always humane, just and fraternal. We need to avoid a common temptation nowadays: to discard whatever proves troublesome. Let us remember the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” (Mt 7:12).

"This Rule points us in a clear direction. Let us treat others with the same passion and compassion with which we want to be treated. Let us seek for others the same possibilities which we seek for ourselves. Let us help others to grow, as we would like to be helped ourselves. In a word, if we want security, let us give security; if we want life, let us give life; if we want opportunities, let us provide opportunities."

-- Jorge Bergoglio, aka Pope Francis, addressing the US Congress on Sept 24, 2015.

Many other quotes and sources relevant to Australia at the same link, but that was the decisive one.

Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser introduced multiculturalism in Australia. It was unpopular. In the ordinary course of politics the opposition would have run against it and abolished it, but the next Prime Minister Robert Hawk supported the unpopular policy and prohibited political discussion on it.

"In 1993, Bob Hawke admitted that there has been an implicit pact between the major parties (involving the ACTU) to implement broad policies on immigration that they know are not generally endorsed by the electorate".

"The Arizona legislature just passed the country's most retrogressive, mean-spirited, and useless anti-immigrant law [SB 1070, awaiting the expected signature of Gov. Jan Brewer]. The tragedy of the law is its totally flawed reasoning: that immigrants come to our country to rob, plunder, and consume public resources. That is not only false, the premise is nonsense....

"The Census Bureau reports that every day a minimum of 10,000 baby boomers retire. How are we going to provide the labor pool to fill all of these jobs in the coming years?
Our nation has no plan for our future labor needs. None....

"I have met so many of our immigrant families and I am in awe at their love for our country, their care and concern for their children, and their resourcefulness in helping to improve our communities, our way of life, and our economic future."

(If he were actually Catholic, he wouldn't need a plan for "future labor needs" because his flock would be having babies and not contracepting themselves out of existence. Guess that would be too easy.)

Gough Whitlam was Malcolm Fraser's predecessor as Prime Minister, and his Minister of Immigration was Al Grassby. Whitlam destroyed White Australia; positively affirming multicultural mostly came in later with Fraser. But there was progress towards multiculturalism (or, more bluntly, Asianisation) under Whitlam.

While he [Grassby] was Minister for Immigration he became famous for wearing highly colourful ties. He recently told The Age newspaper,

"The ties came with the Whitlam government because I decided that we were liberated from a dull and colourless past to a new and colourful Australia. And it just went from there."

In 1974 Mr Grassby was appointed by the government as the first Commissioner for Community Relations and undertook an important role in administering the Racial Discrimination Act 1975. At the launch of the Office of the Commissioner for Community Relations the Prime Minister, Gough Whitlam said

"The Racial Discrimination Act wrote it firmly into the legislation that Australia is in reality a multicultural nation, in which the linguistic and cultural heritage of the Aboriginal people and of peoples from all parts of the world can find an honoured place.

...For the first time Australia affirmed its opposition to all forms of racial discrimination...

The Act, inadequate as it is in many respects, is still the best guarantee that Australians have ever had that the dark forces of bigotry and prejudice which have prevailed so often in the past will never again be able to exercise influences far greater than their numbers in the community."

The separatist movement in the Rhineland went so far that some leading German politicians came out in favour of it, suggesting that if the Rhineland were thus ceded it might be possible for the German Republic to strike a bargain with the French in regard to Reparations. But in Bavaria the movement went even farther. I am visiting relatives in MN and tonight patronized the Walmart on, ironicaly, American Boulevard in Bloomington. It has been years since I have been to anything like a Walmart in anything like the city here, and the vibrancy I found there was shocking. This is no longer the land of polite Scandinavian diaspora I grew up in, a people who came to America to become Americans.

While shopping for a few grocery items, I crossed paths with what I take to be a Somali woman in native dress, head but not face covered, and her 1/2 dozen spawn. Our eyes met, and what I saw in the fat little face was unmistakable: a mixture of anger and contempt.

I was tempted to ask her how she planned to pay for the shopping cart of groceries she was loading up for her well-fed children. We both know the answer: I am paying for it. We Americans are, and what will these children grow into? Proud and productive Americans?

I see two solutions for this and the other influx I'm more familiar with, being a resident of Texas. Either send them home and deny further influx, or do away with welfare, i.e. you're welcome to come here, but you're on your own. That is the way my Norwegian grandfather and his brother did it, and I don't see any other approach historically having worked.

Hubert Humphrey, American Vice-President, from a page of his quotes:

Fortunately, the time has long passed when people liked to regard the United States as some kind of melting pot, taking men and women from every part of the world and converting them into standardized, homogenized Americans. We are, I think, much more mature and wise today. Just as we welcome a world of diversity, so we glory in an America of diversity--an America all the richer for the many different and distinctive strands of which it is woven.
Hubert H. Humphrey "All-America Tribute to
Archbishop Iakovos," speech,
15 Jan. 1967, Chicago, Ill.

The ugliness of bigotry stands in direct contradiction to the very meaning of America.
Hubert H. Humphrey

We should have learnt by now that laws and court decisions can only point the way. They can establish criteria of right and wrong. And they can provide a basis for rooting out the evils of bigotry and racism. But they cannot wipe away centuries of oppression and injustice however much we might desire it.
Hubert H. Humphrey (1911-78)
Speech, 1 June 1966, White House Conference

"The leadership for civil rights has to take place in the White House or it is going to take place in the streets."
Hubert H. Humphrey, 1964

"There are those who say to you -we are rushing this issue of civil rights. I say we are 172 years late. There are those who say -this issue of civil rights is an infringement on states rights. The time has arrived for the Democratic Party to get out of the shadow of state's rights and walk forthrightly into the bright sunshine of human rights."
Hubert H. Humphrey, 1948

Mass immigration, forced assimilation, and antiwhite policies typically are imposed top-down, undemocratically, on unwilling white populations. The rationalization consists mostly of aspersions against opponents of the policies, accusing them of bigotry, racism, and "darkness"; there is also a recurring theme of moving into brightness, color and light. This is all without intellectual merit, but it's rhetoric that is enforced by power against which the common man is denied a voice.

"America has never been united by blood or birth or soil. We are bound by ideals that move us beyond our backgrounds, lift us above our interests and teach us what it means to be citizens. Every child must be taught these principles. Every citizen must uphold them; and every immigrant, by embracing these ideals, makes our country more, not less, American." - George W. Bush

It was a genuine question. Let me step it out for you:

1. Some gun owners are idiots.
2. Idiots are not known for their moral autonomy or wise discernment.
3. Many idiots with guns will respond like slavering dogs to calls by their betters to use them.
4. Some settled citizens with ethnic heritage appear the same as immigrants who have no right to be here.
5. If armed nationalism reaches fever pitch, some idiots will fire their guns at the wrong people.
6. How does VD propose to stop them?

Calling someone a liar implies you have some reason to believe that he's lying, beyond his being wrong.

It's why we don't call everyone who is wrong about something a liar.

And on further reflection, it was also wrong of me to call Vox a liar. Sorry, Vox. Though it seems obvious to me that it was wrong to call penguins one, maybe Vox was just confused.

It is very important that Catholics everywhere understand that Bergoglio is not the Pope. Ratzinger is the Pope. The link below is in Italian so here's the gist: The IOR was kicked out of SWIFT and the Vatican was financially blockaded for three days. On the third day Ratzinger "resigned". Unless you believe it is theologically correct for bankers to hire and fire Popes at will, Ratzinger is the Pontifex.

Someone asked the question. What in tarnation does you mean when you says Racial Capitalism?

Well I'll tell ya.
Essentially, it's mentally stronger and more affluent races importing mentally weaker or poorer races in order to have a cheaper and more acquiescent work force.

It's a case where the profit motive strongly conflicts with the best interest of the country and it inevitably leads to more Racial Socialism as these imported races ally with the Left and expand expensive government by financially bleeding the natives.

Racial Capitalism and Racial Socialism create a kind of political-economic feedback loop that degenerates a nation.

What about low level types? The activists, the annoying SJW idiot on facebook, hollywood types, minor politicians, SJWs, activist judges, media blowhards, business peoples/crony types etc.

Should people be categorised by country and level of damage caused.

It would be almost ironic if all these people and their families were exiled to Somalia to revel in the diversity. Maybe give them all guns and drop them off together in one place with food supplies and tell them to build a new nation.

Collecting quotes on all those who want to destroy the West is a gargantuan task. It would probably work best if one set up a wiki and split it into geographical regions, timespans, perhaps organizations and professions as well, just not to forget anyone.

The UK Labour party: "suspicions of a secret agenda rose when Andrew Neather, a former government adviser and speech writer for Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett, said the aim of Labour’s immigration strategy was to ‘rub the Right’s nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date’."

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1249797/Labour-threw-open-doors-mass-migration-secret-plot-make-multicultural-UK.html

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-1249804/DAILY-MAIL-COMMENT-Migration-legacy-deceit.html

Former Swedish PM, Fredrik Reinfeldt admits increased migration policy implemented to punish anti-immigration voters.

http://www.friatider.se/reinfeldt-erknner-migrationsuppgrelsen-var-en-bestraffning-av-vljarna

Calling these people traitors to their countries is not excessive. But also note that in both the UK and Swedish cases their opponents too follow the same insane policies.

At some point, one realizes there will be no redress after the evidence has been collected and the petitions written. The whole edifice is rotten inside and out and needs to go.

VD, a call to arms may eventually be needed but how do you propose to stop all the idiots with guns who haven't the sense or sensibility to remove from his gunsights and slavering bloodlust the settled citizen who has ethnic heritage from the immigrant who has no right to remain?

I don't. History suggests that they will all get caught up in the slavering bloodlust, much like many innocent Jews paid for the crimes of the corrupt ones that inspired German ire. The innocent always suffer, that's why the champions of open borders merit so much condemnation.

That's why I suggest that the decent, civilized thing to do is encourage people to leave before they are either deported or killed. Of course, this usually means one will be called racist, white supremacist, etc, by some of the same idiots who will be screaming for ethnic cleansing in a few years.

Blogger YIH November 02, 2015 4:27 AM

There's nothing wrong with legal immigration;
The reason quite a few get upset over ''amnesty'' (regardless of how it's phrased) is it's a form of legislative/judicial/executive 'hand waving' over the issue of immigration.
Taking 10 million 'illegal' immigrants and suddenly making them 'legal' (or declaring them 'refugees') does not change the fact that there are an additional 10 million immigrants - complete with all the problems they bring, such as additional public assistance burdens, disease, and increased crime by those who don't consider what they are doing is even wrong.

Blogger Robin Capuani November 02, 2015 4:35 AM

I dunno, I'm starting to think + to immigration; if diversity + proximity = war, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, then it seems good, whoever's left over will be stronger for it. Just gotta make sure the one left over is the one you care about, not prevent the fight in the first place.

Fight and win vs avoid fight?

Can we win? Yes. Could we lose? Maybe. Risky?? Enough so that many people are scared of it.

Following that logic I'd say people who oppose immigration are actually those who don't assume superiority over other peoples, aka not white supremacist. And of course, for those who aren't worried... Funny stuff.

Anonymous Aachen November 02, 2015 4:41 AM

Yes the system does seem rotten to the core. That is why it is so important to document it as you have suggested. It gives it a substance and structure that the average joe can then contemplate. Once the average joe realises how heavily the system is rigged against him/her and their offspring the more chance we have of changing this politically.

The Media is a massive problem. It should be one of the first corrupt structures defined and brought into the sunshine.

Laguna Beach Fogey, The Freikorp indeed. I was just reading about them the other day. It may come as a surprise to some who have only read the most anodyne histories of inter-war Germany, but there is a reason that the Freikorp and others were ready to join up with the Nazis when the NSDAP grew to be a national party. After the likes of Rosa Luxemburg and her Spartakusbund trying to create a communist state in Germany through subversion and treachery it is hardly a surprise that they were ready to join anyone who would fight against a Bolshevik take over which actually happened in Bavaria in 1918. Small wonder that it was the Freikorp who was called in over and over again to crush these revolutionary attempts to force Germany under a International Socialist yoke directed out of Moscow.

Blogger Sherwood family November 02, 2015 5:12 AM

Would a boycott of services to these invaders be sufficient? The state may take the money of citizens but a steadfast refusal to do business with these people would render their money of no use. An unwillingness to sell good or provide services might convince them to head for home? But perhaps that requires too much discipline and solidarity to bring about. Perhaps more overt acts: minor acts of sabotage. A constant drip drip of actions that cause difficulty and irritation. Not sure that would work but it might be worth a try. Something simple that anyone could do and which a hundred different people might bring about. Just brainstorming here.

Anonymous LurkingPuppy November 02, 2015 6:31 AM

@161: An unwillingness to sell good or provide services might convince them to head for home?

That's illegal under current U.S. statutes and court precedents.

Perhaps more overt acts: minor acts of sabotage.

I think you mean “more active”— minor acts of sabotage are supposed to be covert. (http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/26184 covers some of the theory of sabotage, as well as a variety of specific practical acts.)
