At the risk of jinxing myself. I picked up Brent Celek last nite and started him. Off to a good start with an early touchdown and the Iggles playing from behind. Locked and loaded.
My RB roster spot is the kiss of death. Arian Foster, Lance Dunbar, and Dion Lewis all went on the IR after being on my team. Too bad DeMarco Murray is so inconsistent this year.
Not a great day to start the Eagles D. Particularly when you not only need to win out but also gain 59 points on the team you are currently tied with for 4th
The Favre slurping has already been obscene tonight, and they haven't even gotten to the halftime ceremony yet. I didn't care about this game, but now I'm pleading for the Bears to spoil the evening.
Womo came back too soon and got his just rewards. In other news, the Packers' roster has really gone downhill this year. They miss Nelson and have no real depth anywhere. Rodgers may very well retire with only 1 title, kinda like Favre did.
Really without that phantom DH that overturned an INT, the Bears D held the Packers offense to 6 points, and 3 of those were given up by the ST letting a 70 yard KO return.
Best part about this Bears win is I get to enjoy it for 10 days.
Packers had a great chance in Seattle last year to make it to the Super Bowl. play calling on the road was to conservative, game came down to an on-side kick which they muffed and then lost in OT. Seattle of course lost their minds on the 2 yard line and lost the Super Bowl for good measure. Bears win tonight, but i was to scared to put money down and pay for my Thanksgiving Dinner, but Packer's tears always taste great in my morning coffee. i go to asleep with a full belly and and a Bears Victory. Conan...what is best in life? Queue the Bears Fight song.
Given all the hoopla surrounding Favre's jersey retirement where does everyone here rank Brett Favre amongst the great QBs, is he top 5 or 10 or 20, no particular order needed but where do you put him in the pantheon?
Packers loss leaves the door wide open for the Vikings to re-establish a 1-game lead in the division if they take care of business in Atlanta. Freeman not expected to play as he hasn't cleared concussion protocol; so unless Coleman surprises at RB it will be up to Matt Ryan and Julio Jones.
He was climbing on top of his teammates which is not allowed unlike in the playoffs last year when when Cam Chancellor of Seattle was vaulting over the Carolina Linemen to block a punt.

Nomo Romo. Go Can'thers!
Our annual tradition of having the Lions lull us to sleep with uninspired play. No turkey necessary.

Four successful drives in the first half, that's...odd. Not sure how I should react to that.
Wait...this isn't some kind of setup, is it?
Half time show was disappointing.

Relish it. Revel in it. Rejoice.
All I care is that Theo Riddick gets me some more points in the 2nd half. So far so good.
That halftime show was embarrassing.
Wow, the Eagles are bad. Nice day to start Megatron, though.

Eagles are so bad NFL just announced they will play in London next year.
VD: "Nice day to start Megatron, though."
Stafford, too.
I thought Lions would end up with first pick in next year's draft and go QB, but looks like Cooter's offense is showing some improvement.
That or Eagle's D is really just that bad.
Hopefully Jim Bob Cooter was the final nail in the coffin for Eagles d-coord Billy Davis. Rob Ryan was just fired why not Davis?

Against Chelsea. And they're only favored by a field goal.

Heh I'll take Chelsea outright.
Uggh. Phil Simms has to have broken knees after all his praise for Cam Newton.
Panthers whuppin' it up on Dallas is like a double win.
If Clemson wins this weekend, I'll be in football nirvana. A Raiders win and a Patriot loss would be icing, baby!
I was at the U of Houston v. Memphis game and I will be at the UH v. Navy tomorrow. It will be loud
Eff youu Broncos are going down.
my comment at halftime of the Dallas game was that the Carolina defense was scoring at a faster rate than the Tony Homo led Dallas offense.
it's a good day to be a Skins fan.

The Cowboys are lousy.
Though I found it amazing that it is a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to jump over the offensive line kicking a field goal. Really?

Yes. You could put an eye out doing that.
