NFL Week 16

It's championship week in a lot of leagues. Good luck, if you made it. Meanwhile, back in the real world, the Vikes need to make a two-game run to take the NFC North back.

This is probably the least interesting NFC week 16-17 in a good number of years. AFC has a bunch of stuff up for grabs though.

Bears quit 3 weeks ago. Other than not having media circus surrounding the horrible end of the season, I fail to see how its an improvement over last year. Kyle Long is not a tackle. He needs to be back at guard next year.

Thanks for sitting out my first round playoff, Odell. You're a champ!

Atlanta...nice job birds

The Mighty Pack will beat the Cards, just because.

Blogger Daniel December 27, 2015 5:55 PM

If the Vikings can't beat the nothing to play for Giants, they as well say Odellayhoo to any serious playoff run.

How would you like to be the Packers' backup QB.

"We don't want Rodgers to get hurt, so get in there. Good luck!"

7. No. Hell, no. Not even if you took 30 years off my age. Talk about a hammering.

I heard that Donald pointed out Bill Clinton's misogyny. Which made Hitlery an enabler.

That was as enjoyable as football. Nice new front lawn for Christmas. Politics hasn't been any fun since 1960 or so. I don't take it seriously so it might as well be fun.

Donnie I changed my mind. Don't STFU.

Would you mind publishing your pick for next week? Thanks.

I'm with @5, but @7 explains the score I just saw.

in this screwed up year of screwed up years, i'd just like to get this out there:
the Redskins are going to rest up for week 17, sit most of their starters and take the loss, winning the division with an 8-8 record.

they will then sweep through the playoffs, winning Super Bowl 50, shivving Obama for pulling their trademarks and forcing him to invite a 'racist' organization to the White House.

Daniel Snyder refuses the invite until such time as the presidency is held by someone he can respect ( and for Snyder, that's a pretty low bar ).

so the winners of SB 50 AND 51 will visit President Trump in the WH come February of 2017.

hey, it's the most unlikely thing i can think of ...

Cards better team I pick them to go to SB, the blowout is on the GB coach who did his usual in those situations, nothing. Even Aikman up in the booth said roll Rogers out, but NO.

Next week's pick, the Vikings, an unstoppable force of awesomeness they will win, just because.

First you curse the Packers, now you take a shot at the Vikings.... lemme guess, Bears fan?

Life long Pack fan, and disgusted that McCarthy didn't adjust well enough he should have at least gone to max protect with Kuhn in as FB or better on pass plays roll out Tarkenton style ironically. But then again I am just a couch coach.

And I hope the Pack beats the Vikes like AP whoops his kids.

In non-NFL news.

The Cotton Bowl looks to be a good match up this year. Although honestly I don't like my beloved Spartans chances.

Of course, I didn't like their chances against Ohio either and that Deathstar went kaa-boom.

Regardless it should be a hell of game.

Blogger Azimus December 28, 2015 11:13 AM

All I needed was a decent week out of Tom Brady and I would've won... maybe if he would've had a chance for an OT drive?

I wish I could say the same about the Cactus Bowl. But then my expectations for WVU haven't been high for the last few years.

A Redskins/Cheifs Superbowl would cause SJW heads to explode.

I've been waiting 20 years for another Braves-Indians World Series. Redskins-Chiefs will do for the Super Bowl. I find it funny that the Blackhawks, with their giant Indian head as their sweater logo, have won three Cups without so much as a peep from the media. I guess SJWs don't watch hockey.

Keep talking dirty, Cheese-Head.

ok, awesome unstoppable Vikings, I will get the old lady's jewelry into hock and onto the Pack. Much obliged!

Probly don't, plus it's the coolest logo in sports, and SJWs have no defense for cool. The Chief's got that noble inscrutable look that highlights the savagery etc. Whereas Redskin is general and covers your basic array of Injuns. Which is what they actually prefer to be called.

Hail to the Chief! May he toss a water fixture through a window.
