Project Big Fork

Tonight at 7 PM EST is the Open Brainstorm where we will be seriously discussing the project I am leading. If you've read SJWAL, you know what it is. You can register here; attendance is limited to 500 and 100 VFM are already registered, so if you are seriously interested in supporting a major anti-SJW offensive and are willing to put your money where your mouth is, you should register for the event sooner rather than later.

No transcripts or recordings will be released. A summary will be provided to the VFM who can't be there.

I'm a mid-level .NET developer who would love to help, but between my full-time day job and the software business I'm starting on the side I'm afraid I won't have much time.

I won't be able to make the cast tonight, but I look forward to the summary and count me in for something.

To quote Yogi, if you come to a fork in the road, take it

Long time lurker, infrequent commenter - unfortunately my day job as a sr. developer doesn't give me enough time to read _all_ the comments - but this has captured my attention. I am looking forward to pushing back against the SJW infiltration of tech.

Cannot make it due to work but am in for the amount your email asked for. Let me/us know where to send it.

Blogger Ingot9455 January 26, 2016 12:47 PM

I may or may not be able to make it but will be in.

Vox has the Carnegies backing him? Whoa...

4pm PST brainstorms aren't possible for me and mine, but we wish you the best. Thanks for your work.

This is yuge. You have my keyboard.

Will there be an option for Annual Members to contribute a little something to the project? A few more stones in the rampart might push it over the top of the wall. I will take my answer in the Brainstorm.

Blogger Were-Puppy January 26, 2016 2:45 PM

I look forward to this

Very disappointed that this didn't debut alongside "Big Spoon: How not to be a Gamma" over on AG.

I have years of coding in various languages. Since the 1990s. (Basic on a Vic-20 a decade before that even). I'm no lead guitarist though. Just need to know what to do.

You have my sword.

Blogger Franz Lyon Hart January 26, 2016 6:31 PM

Not interested to participate in the discussion, but happy to pledge $250. This seems an important project to me. VFM 399.

So frustrated. Can't get in as the webinar app won't work properly with my BlackBerry. I have got to get rid of this thing.

Blogger pdwalker January 26, 2016 9:03 PM

Thanks for the invite. It's an interesting idea, and I'd love to see actual adults take charge of things again.

Any thoughts on how to keep the SJWs out of the management of the project in the future?

Blogger Ragin' Dave January 26, 2016 9:21 PM

I wanted to join in, but I've been on the road all week, and will be for the foreseeable future.

Anonymous 9148 January 26, 2016 9:57 PM

All in. Fork it.

Blogger Nate January 26, 2016 10:10 PM

Geretrudis... dont dob it. I got a note 4 and regret it every day

Anonymous VFM 5589 January 26, 2016 10:22 PM

Yes. "Stick a fork in it, it's done."

Blogger FALPhil January 26, 2016 10:25 PM

That was awesome. I can't wait to see results.

Anonymous Samson January 27, 2016 1:22 AM

Holy smoke, how many of Vox's readers are computer guys? It seems like everyone is fluent in a jargon that is meaningless to me.

Let us know if there's any way to contribute for us technological illiterates.

If this double-secret fork is of Wikipedia, I can't wait to see the result.

Anonymous Difster January 27, 2016 4:52 AM

@26 Samson,

Quite a few of us are. This shouldn't come as a shock though.

Anonymous jml1911a1 January 27, 2016 5:55 AM

Looking forward to seeing this get going, and hopefully finding some way I can contribute. I am a self-employed IT service and web hosting provider.

Blogger Peter P January 27, 2016 6:02 AM

Man, the timezone differences are a bitch. Oh well. Looking forward to the things that follow.
