Roosh's press conference

Roosh prison-rapes the media at his press conference.

Roosh: "What happened in Cologne on New Years Eve? What happened in Cologne? Who can tell me what happened there?"

Media: silence

Roosh: "When a real rape happens, that goes against the agenda of your boss, you guys hide it."

Media: silence

Roosh: "Not only are you guys not honest... when real harm takes place, you guys don't say anything. And that is not fair. That is not right."
Let me know when a transcript is available and I'll put it up here in its entirety.

Reporter: Do you consider yourself a victim in this scenario?

Roosh: No.... but if you did something wrong, I get to call you out on it.

And I told you he'd be fine. Unless and until you've been mau-maued by the media or a political activist group, you really can't judge someone who has. Most people are in a state of quasi-shock; it's like getting punched in the face for the first time.

Once you get used to it, it's no big deal, and eventually you start learning how to use it to your advantage. Roosh is already in the process of doing that. And even in the early stages, note that he didn't apologize and he didn't back down. He did much better than most people do in similar circumstances.

  11. Went to the linked site, can run the video – only there's no video, only the soundtrack; the screen remains black. I know there's video somewhere, because if I run the cursor down along the progress bar at the bottom (00:00 to 49:54) it shows little frames of Roosh in the room, which change as I go along the bar. But the main video doesn't display. Using Chrome because it requires Flash (blech) which I don't have installed on the computer so other browsers can use it and it can mess everything up. Does everybody but me see the video? Any ideas?

Btw, considering he's clearly not a guy accustomed to notoriety, being the center of hostile attention, handling crowds, etc. (unlike our Donald), I think he's handling this very well. He's not freaking out, he's not scared or irrationally angry, and he hasn't apologized. Of course, he has nothing to apologize for, but as we know... Growing respect for this guy.

This entire affair is the most surreal thing I've ever seen. It's obviously manufactured, but who has this much power and who would then want to use it to THIS end against Roosh of all people? Is the enemy here neurotic and unhinged or is Roosh truly this close to nailing something? Is Roosh just hitting the jackpot on the natural idiocy of the SJW?

    http://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/homeland-security/268282-dhs-ordered-me-to-scrub-records-of-muslims-with-terror

"Just before that Christmas Day attack, in early November 2009, I was ordered by my superiors at the Department of Homeland Security to delete or modify several hundred records of individuals tied to designated Islamist terror groups like Hamas from the important federal database, the Treasury Enforcement Communications System (TECS). These types of records are the basis for any ability to “connect dots.” Every day, DHS Customs and Border Protection officers watch entering and exiting many individuals associated with known terrorist affiliations, then look for patterns. Enforcing a political scrubbing of records of Muslims greatly affected our ability to do that. Even worse, going forward, my colleagues and I were prohibited from entering pertinent information into the database.

A few weeks later, in my office at the Port of Atlanta, the television hummed with the inevitable Congressional hearings that follow any terrorist attack. While members of Congress grilled Obama administration officials, demanding why their subordinates were still failing to understand the intelligence they had gathered, I was being forced to delete and scrub the records. And I was well aware that, as a result, it was going to be vastly more difficult to “connect the dots” in the future—especially beforean attack occurs."

  16. So how does Roosh see himself, racially and ethnically?

Speaking from experience, I suspect he may derive at least some of his courage from his being “not-quite entirely white.”

The left encourages non-white men to stand up for themselves, and to defend their honor—if and only if they do so under the aegis of leftism.

Leave the rez--like George Zimmerman--or someone else we all know, and you risk being slandered as “white.”

I’ll be watching closely to see how they handle this.

Thanks for your response. As I said, I don't install Flash on the computer – for the very reasons Steve Jobs outlined in his infamous 2010 "Thoughts on Flash" open letter. Just as he wrote, as soon as I removed Flash, my computer problems decreased by about 90%. So when Flash is required (fortunately not so often anymore) I use Chrome, which has Flash built-in, thus "sandboxed" so it can't get out and mess up the rest of the System.

Roosh put paid to two taboos, the (((Question))) and the mocking of Conspiracy Theories. He handled both in a fair and balanced manner. Demonstrating that yes, both exist and both deserve rational, logical examination. It's as I said in another thread, the man has great on-line influence and is clearly a calm, rational speaker who practises what he preaches regarding staying in shape and studying the World as it really is, not how he wishes it to be.

I see two possibilities, this is the (((usual suspects))) and their SJW/Cuck allies shooting themselves in the foot. The second one is, another elite faction ((()))'d the Big Brethren big-time, whispering in their ears, "See this? You need to...Shut.It.Down."

Either way, it's going to blow up in the Cultural Marxists' faces. "Shrugs" ah well, "pearls before swine, dust the dirt off your sandals". They were warned...

All lies peddled for political convenience.

It's like the line from LoTR:

"He knows now we have not the strength to repel him"

Well, they know now that most people are malleable, easily shaped by wrong input and strident repetition. Stanley Milgram, like George Orwell, thought he was uncovering a horrible defect in human nature, that once we all knew about it we would fight against it. Neither foresaw that their work would be eagerly taken up by the most rank of opportunists, as how to manuals.

But it is what it is. To resist it, we must first accurately identify it. We oppose people who worship a liar, and lies, both.

Do they want the Europeans to obliterate the Muslims or the other way around, or both?
Not to mention the upcoming financial crisis.

it was Scalzi who proclaimed himself to be a rapist.

it was Scalzi who proclaimed that writing terrible things and then saying that it was "only satire" still meant that you were a terrible person.

That's actually a good point. If taken at face value, Scalzi's article is clearly far worse than Roosh's; the latter's explicit intent is to prevent rape while the former's intent is to give rapists more power over their victims.

Where is the media outrage at Scalzi? Where are the protests to keep him out of conventions? Where are the threats against his fans (all ~50000 of them)? If Roosh is a "pro-rape activist", then so is Scalzi.

  48. The videos linked to above had the feel of an unfunny outtake from "Idiocracy" - a reasonable person unable to get a simple point across not because of a failing on his part, but because his audience was filled with the clueless.

Roosh's conduct was exemplary: don't apologize, press the attack, give the enemy no quarter. Not that it was much of a fight, sort of like watching a professional boxer beat up a gaggle of Pajama Boys.

I highly doubt that mainstream media would be slowly shattering into a few hundred different outlets if its journalists were not a herd of midwits easily swayed by the outrage of the moment ... of course, a benign outrage that provides distraction from the real beasts approaching from the background. Their virtue signaling may be important to them, but it is of no interest and no value to me.

I look forward to when Western Civilization is forced to mentally grasp the actual threats (economic, military, cultural) it faces, and not focus on “feel-good campaigns.” The triggering events will be horrible because of the mainstream’s unwillingness to exercise foresight and the resultant delay making those triggers worse, but I’m ready for it.

Getting drunk does not absolve you of responsibility for your actions, drunk sex does not automatically become rape. I screwing a girl who is passed out drunk rape, yes just as it would be if she was sleeping normally. But when a drunk slut jumps on your dick that is not rape. If you can not handle your liquor, and behave, it is your own responsibility to avoid it.

It might help to consider that the opponents are very likely owners of other mass media. Roosh is upstart competition.

He is ambitious, independent, implacable, honest, and thus far has been unstoppable by the media. Commercial owners likely already considered him a potential threat, before he planned the international meetup day-- and that's what made them decide to take action.

Put yourself in the shoes of a media owner. Roosh and his site, Return of Kings, is brought to your attention. In terms of pageviews it's nothing special. But you see the page about International Meetup Day. You see a decisive, well-organized plan to coordinate hundreds of men all around the world into peaceful gatherings. The medium is the message: a successful grassroots, worldwide meetup of like-minded men coordinated by a potential rival is too dangerous to ignore.

Whether their actual actions succeeded in protecting their territory is hard to say. Roosh is undoubtedly going to come out of this stronger than ever. But in the process, they might be inoculating their own readership against him in the same way that sites have been inoculating readers against Fox News for years.

That is what I see, anyway. I think it's a foolish strategy but I am not a media owner.

    What say you ?

  67. Somehow my post below got lost ?

    --------------------

Watched the whole thing - as several here have commented, it was amazing how these people set him up as Public Eenemy #1, yet did not even take the time to actually READ the article they had used to smear him.

I mean, there is stupid and evil, but this is so far out there it was totally surreal.

Roosh handled it VERY well - and I think whoever it is that is behind this (and I have no doubt there are MANY in that group) has made a phenomenal mistake.

Of the billions of humans on this planet, yest by far the majority of them are just like the reporters at this presser - borderline retarded, lazy, unethical - but there is also a subset out there that can see that The All is falling apart, and they are out there looking for alternatives to the lies - and all it will take them is 5 seconds on google and on they go to Roosh's site - and from there on to all the other such sites (like this one).

IF a person has an ounce of honesty, and IF a person has a midwit IQ, all it will take is a few minutes of basic reading comprehension to come to the conclusion that EVERYTHING the media has printed on this subject has been a complete and total lie-fest.

And after the 5 minutes it might take to come to this conclusion, you would naturally ask yourself, if they have lied this badly about this person, Roosh - 'What else are they lying about ?

Huge, huge mistake I think (in the long run).

As for the rest - those that believe the lies - well, they're pretty much doomed to begin with - they were never meant to survive what is coming down the pike - and in actuality, what is coming down the pike - a Truly Epic Fourth Turning Crisis (use Google to open your eyes my friends :) )- is actually designed to clean house of these kinds of idiots along with all the lies they have so much faith in.

Imagine trying to peddle these kinds of lies (and they are myriad nowadays) in a time of collapse. All of it falls apart - feminism, the gay fanboys, SJW's, the list is endless - and NONE of it will work in a time of collapse.

And while the liars are terrified and thrashing about in their death throes - deep down inside they know that EVERYTHING they believe in is a lie, and that EVERYTHING we have told them is the truth.

I've got lots of popcorn for this one. LOL

  71. @73. BakedAK February 07, 2016 11:44 AM
"Hey No, show is all this coverage of his press conference."

... and, that's Strike Two. You know, Bob, when BakedAK came up from the Minor team, everyone thought he'd be lighting up the scoreboard. He's not us showing much of that stuff today. And, now here's Harry with a word about Brylcream.

  72. Anyone else notice that they all keep calling it "Return of the Kings"? It's like they're all reading off the same script.

  74. @71 You're a bit late to the party, Fred.

  75. And they played the "Don't you see how part of this article could be viewed as X" game and he just shut them down. He knows that if he played into that, that is ALL they would report. And how they repeatedly tried to cite article TITLES as offensive, when they clearly didn't read them.

  76. Prison rape was right. They just sat there like dime-store dummies when he asked them about Cologne. He should have added the news about Sweden covering up the rapes.

  77. It is curious that we now have multiple low-functioning trolls in this particular thread, isn't it? Where did they come from? I'm out of it today so I don't have any clear ideas, but it's a fascinating question. Seems like an odd place for hate-readers to wander by accident when the real action is within one click of Roosh's place.

  78. Possibilities as I see them:

    1. Spontaneous human reaction (why here?)
    2. Directed human reaction (who linked here?)
    3. Directed human action (unlikely, profile doesn't fit)
    4. Computer-generated spam (practically impossible to discern from 1 and 2)

Nothing jumps out as obvious (from what I see), but number 2 seems slightly more likely. In that case, we're looking at the sort of spontaneous organization that leftists excel at, and which is easily subverted by centrally organized folks like the Tea Party was.

  79. Idiots are always offended by facts, logic, and truth. Saying "I find your writings offensive" is not an argument it is just an admission that you cannot examine ideas calmly and rationally, it is admitting that you are like an emotionally unstable child that should be kept away from any position of responsibility and influence.

  80. You know you live in a Bizarro world when you see headlines like:

  81. At this point I just ignore most of the lügenpreß anyway. In fact I had a "Roosh moment" myself in the media about ten years ago... not as profound but I realized that the press is controlled to a level even Filter Kang (it's February) Jones swould find surprising.

@46 Remember, SJWs think pattern matching and predictability of behavior is evil...

  82. @63 Which reminds me of another Roosh type I've worked with.

The pot movement was a good sandbox to try out some political shaped charges without too much damage. (Take your muh degeneracy to /pol/ - Emery himself could fill books on degeneracy but battling big pharma and big cop unions were more important.)

  83. @77 Ask these jokers how many of their mothers are in a urine-smelling nursing home, and the last time they visited them. "Mother's basement" type comments are a demonstration of the third law.
