YOu know, scintillating rapes aside, GoT really is a tale of failed immigration policy. Never thought of it that way before either. Maybe the ice zombies are just kabob owners waiting to happen?
Ohhhh, how I wish it had ended with Trump's head superimposed on Khal's neck as he bent Khalissi over.
I finally put this up so people will stop telling me about it.Heh.What, they think the Supreme Dark Lord didn't already know?
Trump's recent retelling of the General Pershing "bullets dipped in pigs blood" legend has given me an idea he could have a bit of fun with at his next rally.Islamic fighters gain tremendous courage from believing that if they are killed in battle they become instant martyrs, go straight to heaven and receive 72 virgins. However, they also believe that if they suffer the dishonour of being killed by a woman, rather than poon paradise, they are instead condemned to everlasting punishment in the fires of hell. Trump: "Islamic fighters truly believe that if they are killed by a woman, they go to hell! Well, when I'm President I'm going to make sure every single US drone strike in Syria is controlled by an American Service Woman. I will order the Airforce to drop leaflets informing Islamic State fighters of this fact, and assure them that a Trump administration will see to it, that every one of these cutthroat maniacs are sent straight to HELL, where they belong! " I like this idea because it reinforces his tough stance on terrorism while also throwing a bone to the female vote. (Of course, in reality, he'll have to do nothing but the leafleting part.)Anyone know how we can pass it on to him?
Awesome. Love the cameo by Winter-chan!
That was totally racist. I didn't see one tree.
If there is one good thing his bigotry has done, it is mobilizing minorities. E.g. there is so much get-out-to-vote campaigns going on in Latino communities now, Black peeps campaigning for Sanders or Clinton, etc.Hopefully, more of those who used to say they won't vote at all or won't vote if their fave doesn't win primaries now see how stupid that can be because it means they're voting for this buffoon by default.
Maybe it's because I don't watch that show, but I can't tell if this was supposed to be pro-Trump or anti-Trump.
If there is one good thing his bigotry has done, it is mobilizing minorities.Minorities who are going to disproportionately vote for him.
I guess that it's too late to put on a spoiler tag.
That was freakin awesome, I hadn't seen it before. (I never watched the GoT show, but I'm well aware of it). This is very well done, high quality video satire. Maybe a new standard above all the Hitler joke videos (of which many are very good, but not nearly as technically difficult to just create new text while Hitler is screaming)Thank you for posting.
Maybe it's because I don't watch that show, but I can't tell if this was supposed to be pro-Trump or anti-Trump.I... can't quite tell either.
Sitting in a Cafe in Dunedin listening to two members of the senior common room moan. About how the elite run the narrative and Trump. The cognitive dissonance is obvious. I drink my coffee and smile
Maybe it's because I don't watch that show, but I can't tell if this was supposed to be pro-Trump or anti-Trump.I... can't quite tell either. It doesn't quite make use of the GoT narrative, only uses some scenes as backdrop for a few laughs. The scene where he rejects Khaleesi at the Gates is pretty good though, because in the movie she attempts to take the city by force afterwards - good reminder of the muslim "immigrants" as invaders.
Crank wrote:Maybe it's because I don't watch that show, but I can't tell if this was supposed to be pro-Trump or anti-Trump.My first thought was neither pro-Trump nor anti-Trump, just pro-entertainment.On second viewing, I notice that they have Trump saying "this country needs a dealmaker" immediately followed by "no deals, not with anybody, we don't make deals". This might be intended to make Trump look bad by exposing his inconsistency. But it really doesn't come off as strongly pro- or anti-Trump even with that.
All publicity is pro-Trump, that's how awesome he is at playing the media and the lame US political machines.
"This might be intended to make Trump look bad by exposing his inconsistency. "Doesn't matter, playing lame ass gotcha's with Trump or his supporters won't do anything. It's a cult of personality, and at least he has some.
Hopefully, more of those who used to say they won't vote at all or won't vote if their fave doesn't win primaries now see how stupid that can be because it means they're voting for this buffoon by default.Voting for a buffoon by default describes how blacks generally vote for a candidate with "D" following his name. You can usually count on them voting 90% or higher for the democrat. Even if Trump succeeds, his share of the white vote will probably be around 60 percent. Whites for some reason actually make choices at election times. Often their choice is horribly wrong, but they do make them. Contrast that to the minority vote which besides blacks at 90%, would probably include hispanics at 70% or higher for the democrats. If minorities had the same respect for the voting process as whites and made their up their own minds and did not vote as a block, the democrats would be obliterated. If blacks and hispanics voted 60% for the democrats as whites do the GOP, the democrats would be instantly in the wilderness. No, it is not the Trump people who vote by default. It is your NAMS.
"I... can't quite tell either."it was made to be pro-trump... that's obvious. The problem is the average Trump supporter.. like the person who made this.. is so delusional about Trump they honestly have no idea what he's actually saying on a dialectual level. Its all rhetoric and they react emotionally to it.
"If there is one good thing his bigotry has done, it is mobilizing minorities."see... its statements like this that prove that these people do not understand minorities.. and especially blacks... at all.
Crank February 25, 2016 6:16 PMMaybe it's because I don't watch that show, but I can't tell if this was supposed to be pro-Trump or anti-Trump.Have Trump critics come up with anything decent that's anti-Trump? Trump should run this video as a campaign ad.
19. Nate February 25, 2016 6:40 PMThe problem is the average Trump supporter.. like the person who made this.. is so delusional about Trump they honestly have no idea what he's actually saying on a dialectual level.oh come ON, Nate. they juxtaposed Trump proclaiming himself a dealmaker and immediately jump cut to Trump saying "No deals".that's not an accident. it was intentional and done for comedic effect.do i think this means the vid maker is anti-Trump? no. but it's certainly not somebody who believes or intends to portray the Donald as being all sweetness and light and consistency.21. Joshua_D February 25, 2016 6:57 PMTrump should run this video as a campaign ad.indeed.the only problem would be getting that Marxist GeRRM to allow Trump the rights to do so.
If there is one good thing his bigotry has done, it is mobilizing minorities.Blacks know Hispanics are smarter than them and work harder leading to them sucking up all the affirmative action jobs.
"If there is one good thing his bigotry has done, it is mobilizing minorities."You're aluminum foil in the microwave smart.
@24: Ha! One of the generally unremarked fun parts of this blog is being one of the first to read insults that are going to be overplayed in the next three months. Sig, I'm looking forward to seeing that line all over the internet soon.
Is he urging one out?
Good to see you enjoyed it Jon, thanks.
Debate starting.... who wants to bet that a deranged Jeb shows up?
MAMA STILL LOVES ME
IMO it's definitely meant to make him out to be a meanie poopie head but I loved it.
VOX VOXI tried playing house with mama again but I think she is bleeding.NO MAMA NO
@22Deal-makers know when it isn't the right time to make deals and they also know there are some people you just can't make a deal with at any time.

It is Known!
This isn't a very good debate for Trump. I doubt it will hurt him more than a couple points, but both Cruz and Rubio have landed some shots.Trump did have the best zinger on the night so farRubio: You are hired a bunch of illegalsTrump: I am the only person here who has hired *anyone*Will Best
"that's not an accident. it was intentional and done for comedic effect."I don't think so at all. Sorry mate but my twitter feed is full of trump people. They literally cheer at whatever he says no matter what it is.. no matter if he's just contradicted himself... no matter how dumb what just came out of his mouth maybe or how smart it is. They just cheer.Exactly like Obama people.
"Rubio: You are hired a bunch of illegalsTrump: I am the only person here who has hired *anyone*"Dude that was gold. Pure gold.Plus it exposes Rubio as the same old noob... stepping into obvious traps because he's just not tall enough for this ride yet.
@36 I think this is the first debate multiple candidates came at him in a serious way with ample facts to back themselves up. He has become quite shy and is afraid to attack anyone directly at this point.
@ Groot: aboriss!

I know I said pound it, but you're gonna have to take a break before you rub it all the way off. It's not like there was that much there to start with.Get some lotion, or triple anti-biotic or something, man.
I am going to have to downgrade this performance from not good to bad on Trump's part. In fact, if it weren't for the occasional time outs to talk to Carson and Kasich, I would swear I was watching a mugging on the streets of Miami. Will Best
Jeez Duckie! Stop stop, dude. If he gets a cotton glove, there will be less chafing.I can't believe Nate has become a cranky old man. Hopefully in a few years he will reach the stage of "who cares, as long as it is entertaining" that is the Hall of Wisdom.
"I can't believe Nate has become a cranky old man."I can assure you I am entertained. The entertainment is the reason I follow. I mean its not like I'm actually going to vote for any of these people.
that said... twitter seems to be very irritated tonight with the debate. Lots of trump people down. He doesn't seem to be having a bad debate to me... any ideas what the deal is?
I'm not even sure why Trump does these debates at this point. He already has the lead so he has more to lose, everyone is stacked against him including the audience and RNC, and after 30+ debates I don't think we're going to learn anything more about these candidates. Considering he has a lot less debate experience than his peers, what does he get from this?It doesn't seem like something somebody does from a position of strength.
This never gets old.WATYF
Nate, you vote now ?Lawdt Mercy !
Cruz and Rubio came in with a bunch of memorized dates of contradictions, exact money amounts donated to democrats, rather than just calling him a liar/flip-flopperAnd he has spent much of his time playing defense, taking the shelling and not getting a whole lot of his own shots off.Its broken down into chaos a lot, which I think distracts from the whole event. I can't even remember what they talked about an hour ago, but I am left with the impression that Trump wasn't on top of it.I thought Cruz was doing the best early on, but he seems to have missed a few steps, and now I can't really say it was a good night for any particular candidate. Maybe Kasich, but he is irrelevant. Will Best

Off topic, but I really enjoyed this orgy of virtue signaling, enjoyed it enough to drop some snark on the SJW moderator and get blocked, weenie didn't even let my comment post. Great post from an FB community of the same name on the same day making fun of them.Looks like its already blocked/deleted.
Plus it exposes Rubio as the same old noob... stepping into obvious traps because he's just not tall enough for this ride yet.I don't have a lot of hope he's gonna grow taller any time soon. Or have his testicles drop.
GRRM might be persuaded to interpret it as an attack on Trump, in which case he might pay for the ads himself.
@7 Sick Duck If there is one good thing his bigotry has done, it is mobilizing minorities. E.g. there is so much get-out-to-vote campaigns going on in Latino communities now, Black peeps campaigning for Sanders or Clinton, etc.---Quit projecting, Sad Cuck.

I was watching the debate with a group of people and the constant arguing and yelling turned them off. I asked what points Rubio made and they could only remember the yelling.
32. Artisanal Toad February 25, 2016 9:07 PMDeal-makers know when it isn't the right time to make dealsthat's dialectically true and rhetorically oblivious.dialectically that's akin to me knowing that:a - the customer is NOT always rightb - not everyone who tries to give you money is a customer36. Nate February 25, 2016 9:50 PMThey just cheer.you need to get better at reading subtext.practically every editing decision in that video, beginning with the "i'm droppin a turd, ma" expression that Trump is sporting on the title screen is designed to make Trump out to be a clown. heck, that dragonborn bimbo ( whatever her name is ) is probably the primary heroine of GoT, and Trump is denying her sanctuary. making immigrants what? he refuses to follow orders and the scene implication is that he's shortly to get shortened by about a head. he says, "I don't think they like me very much".if it were an out and out smear job on him, yes, they'd have shown him getting killed three dozen different ways. but this video was certainly designed for comedic effect at Trump's expense.
Rubio was determined to talk over Trump so he could not be heard.
Id guess Trump is starting to change his style. Two things.1. He no longer the spunky underdog fighting the man. Hes the presumed king. Kings dont brawl like rebels do. Hes letting Cruz and Rubio act like the presumed outsiders taking shots at the big man. The overarching narrative is that THEY'RE the desperate losers slinging whatever they have-mostly old hat attacks by now.2. Rubio and Cruz are still running in the primary. Trumps running in the general. The His problem was getting his base fired up. They are. Time to start expanding his message....and changing his approach. I expect to see a distinct change in his rhetorical style. Hes already scaled back on direct insults because he knows that hes past that point. The news cycle has chewed them up and spit them out. Cruz and Rubio are finding their balls at precisely the wrong time. Instead of looking like hitters, they look like they're adopting HIS STYLE (overall message 1) to attack the guy who beat them. (Overall message 2)And the things theyre hitting him with are not things that will hurt in the general. "Donate to democrats" is supposed to piss off texas hillbillies, but to middle americs housewives it sounds like "bipartisan."It had to happen, it had to happen soon, and it did. Trump is changing stages in the negotiation-from agressive underdog to equal.Look at his entire campaign:First-edgy radical statements that put him on the map. That got played out and he switched too:Serious candidate pushing hard to fight out of the pack. That got played out and he moved to:Republican frontrunner issuing policy statements and position papers. That played out and he moved to:Presumed republican candidate winning caucuses and now thats played out. Super Tuesday is the end of the road and everyone knows it. So how do you get in front of the news? You move to the next step: national campaign. What does he need for the general? He needs a lower dislike rating. He needs to pull in some new votes, and he needs to look like a serious leader. Taking some hits makes him more relatable, refusing to engage with their memorized points and dragging them into a quagmire of cross argument sucks all the wind out of their sails. They want big headlines of snappy shots. Trumps denying them that. In the primary, a general sense of disorder benefits him the most. In tbe general, a little bit of being humbled make him relatable, makes him more human, an being attacked by hardcore GOP guys like cruz and rubio makes him more acceptable.
Cruzio and Rubuz are done. On to the Trumpening!
@63 That is some nice spin but that is not what happened. He came out hitting just as hard as he always had. He got out classed when the other candidates actually came prepared to talk about specifics in their attacks on him. He tried to hit back just as hard for a while but it was clear the attacks took their toll about an hour in. His main problem is he is still using the same retorts he has been for the last 3 debates. He recovered a little bit after ~45 minutes of hiding in his shell in the middle of the debate. I think he realized he got bloodied and was just trying to run the clock out. He then realized there was a lot of time on the clock and he needed to get back in the game in order to not look weak.It wasn't a good debate for him and it was clear that it wasn't a planned part of his strategy. If it had been he would have come out humble from the start rather than aggressively tangle with the other candidates for the first hour.
If only....Trump had stood proudly between Rubio and Cruz and said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I would like to introduce my two new minions", pointing first at Cruz then Rubio, "They are MiniMe and MiniMeToo."
Best line of the night:Trump: "I don't repeat myself. I don't repeat myself."
The number of people who have worked themselves up into a tizzy over Trump is insane."Trump will have access to Nukes.""I can't vote for Trump, he will put people in camps." What the actual feck...
The backstory does a lot with this too. Westeros used to belong to the giants and the Green Men, who were displaced by humans migrating from Essos(The First Men). They were in turn pushed North by the Andals, who worshipped the Seven, and they were subjugated in their turn by the Targaryens. It's a book series about a millennia long failed immigration policy.
"Maybe it's because I don't watch that show, but I can't tell if this was supposed to be pro-Trump or anti-Trump."Not everything has to be pro or anti. Hew Parkinson (the creator of hte video) is an AUSTRALIAN political satirist and he has no dog in the fight. He just calls it as he sees it. And he's renowned in Australia for doing these kinds of mashups, mostly around hte Australian political scene. Think of him as a political cartoonist who just uses a different medium.
