When Clinton herself was interviewed on July 2 -- for only four hours, during which the interviewers seemed to some in the bureau to lack aggression, passion and determination -- some FBI agents privately came to the same conclusion as their former boss: The case was going sideways. It seems that Comey now understands that the corrupted officials at the FBI and the Justice Department can't keep the lid on their rebellious underlings any longer. Everyone at the FBI knows Hillary Clinton is corrupt, they've known it for years. But the hard evidence and the permission required to gather it has, historically, been lacking.
A few determined agents were frustrated by Clinton's professed lack of memory during her interview and her oblique reference to a recent head injury she had suffered as the probable cause of that. They sought to obtain her medical records to verify the gravity of her injury and to determine whether she had been truthful with them. They prepared the paperwork to obtain the records, only to have their request denied by Director Comey himself on July 4.
Then some agents did the unthinkable; they reached out to colleagues in the intelligence community and asked them to obtain Clinton's medical records so they could show them to Comey. We know that the National Security Agency can access anything that is stored digitally, including medical records. These communications took place late on July 4.
When Comey learned of these efforts, he headed them off the next morning with his now infamous news conference, in which he announced that Clinton would not be indicted because the FBI had determined that her behavior, though extremely careless, was not reckless, which is the legal standard in espionage cases. He then proceeded to recount the evidence against her. He did this, no doubt, to head off the agents who had sought the Clinton medical records, whom he suspected would leak evidence against her.
Three months later -- and just weeks before Clinton will probably be elected president -- we have learned that President Barack Obama regularly communicated with Clinton via her personal email servers about matters that the White House considered classified. That means that he lied when he told CBS News that he learned of the Clinton servers when the rest of us did.
We also learned this week that Andrew McCabe, Giacalone's successor as head of the FBI Washington field office and presently the No. 3 person in the FBI, is married to a woman to whom the Clinton money machine in Virginia funneled about $675,000 in lawful campaign funds for a failed 2015 run for the Virginia Senate. Comey apparently saw no conflict or appearance of impropriety in having the person in charge of the Clinton investigation in such an ethically challenged space.
Perhaps it will finally see the light of day, as the FBI has now obtained a warrant to go through the emails not directly related to the Weiner case.
Things are getting crazy.
UPDATE: Kee-rikey... if this is true and the details are leaked to the Democratic Party elders, she will be forced to stand down whether she is willing to do so or not.

What is the over under on Hillary surviving this week? Bill? Will they let Bill die from a heart attack for the pomp of the state funeral and distract from the mess and hope for the win? Will they forget the last time they tried that?
ReplyDelete"Three months later -- and just weeks before Clinton will probably be elected president -- we have learned that President Barack Obama regularly communicated with Clinton via her personal email servers about matters that the White House considered classified."
ReplyDeleteOkay, I like the judge but why the fuck do all of these MSM pundits think that she is going to win? She only wins if she cheats and the race is close. That is not an assured outcome.
For the same reason two MSM political shows quoted Yahoo News as a source today; they are all given the same story to run with. CB was talking about Trump's "lagging" campaign today.
DeleteThe wind has changed.
ReplyDeletePreet Bharara is on the case. AND his shark senses smell blood.
It's Almost Time
ReplyDeleteSometimes it takes a while for the media's Narrative to catch up to the facts on the ground.
ReplyDeleteLack of hard evidence? The server IS hard evidence.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I hear, Weiner's evidence was semi-hard.
ReplyDeleteFrom the WSJ article it looks like the foundation is going to get dragged into this pretty bad.
ReplyDeleteFBI agents are looking for blood and are mad that DOJ blocked their investigation into the foundation
The globalist vermin are feeling real fear now. Election rigging has to be calibrated and the gamespace is far from equilibrium.
ReplyDeleteI still think Comey was a Boy Scout 'Clueless', on the 'psycopath/clueless/loser' metric, who will be raped and crucifief by all the guilty psycopaths around him.
ReplyDeleteWho else would have signed up for the job of taking an investigation "sideways"?
The whole of the FBI has a reputation that they carefully built over their history.
ReplyDeleteRightly or wrongly, what happened with Hillary can destroy what they've built - and that pisses off the 'rank and file'.
It appears the rest of the FBI would be glad to be rid of Comey. Assuming Trump wins, he should do the ''You're fired!'' to Comey right after being sworn in.
In fact, rumor has it Trump has made a deal with 0bama; ''if you don't pardon Hillary, you walk away clean. If you pardon her, I go after you''
I'd take that deal.
Stefan Molyneaux had an interesting take. He thought the FBI guys had figured Trump was going to win and they wanted to keep their jobs after he was elected. So this comes out now.
ReplyDeleteSomeone else suggested that they felt safe to do so because Hillary will probably die before she is in a postion to get revenge if Trump wins.
Ransom,
ReplyDeleteThat's been around for two months now and not much was heard after the first week or so. Is there some new development with Preet?
"She only wins if she cheats and the race is close."
ReplyDeleteNot actually. Electoral college math is weird math, the race is already close and yet Trump doesn't have it in the bag; plus, you said IF she cheats?!? Whole states can be won just by a few swing counties, which always seem to be Democrat, and which magically produce entire landfills' worth of Democrat votes at exactly the right second. She isn't the first, but this WILL be the worst.
But back to the EC problem. Say Trump wins 80-85% of votes in Red states and rust-belt states. It's an impressive indicator, but to win those states he only needed 51%. The rest don't matter for EC purposes. Let's say he gets 45% in Texas and California. That is still an impressive amount of voters, and more than the whole rust belt combined, potentially, but he still loses all those EC votes.
The Trumpslide could indeed massively happen, and yet still ironically not produce a TrumpenSieg.
The good news is, even on present points, nevermind a Trump loss despite a massive vote victory in absolute terms... Hitler will begin her fake presidency from Day One as already the most discredited person to hold the office since... well, anyone, I believe. There have been presidents who have turned out over time to positively horrifyingly awful, but I can't think of anybody who showed up on their first day with THESE sorts of negatives.
As Caesar Romero used to say, Delicious!
Let's just be glad that Hillary is a stone cold bitch who couldn't stand to have more than the required one child for political purposes.
ReplyDeleteJason wrote:Stefan Molyneaux had an interesting take. He thought the FBI guys had figured Trump was going to win and they wanted to keep their jobs after he was elected. So this comes out now.

Nah, Comey is CYAing after the last little presentation to Congress. Everyone around him has betrayed his trust. Only Congress can keep him out of jail.
All these events is going to deflate her voter turnout, rigging the election is going to be more difficult.
ReplyDeleteRE wrote:All these events is going to deflate her voter turnout, rigging the election is going to be more difficult.
ReplyDeleteBah, that's what Soros machines are for. If the Democrats don't turn this up to 11, then they expect a lot of their kind to be jailed. Hillary herself thinks she is headed for 'The Day of the Rope"'.
I heard that the FBI folks on the case were going to have a press conference of about 30 to 40 people and it was beginning to snowball to well over 100 agents. That's what prompted Comey to act. I don't know.
ReplyDeleteThe Judge is saying that it was the health records they were going to go after and that's what triggered Comey. Now why would that be such a big deal? We all know something happened to her in 2012. Back during the Benghazi timeframe, I recall hearing about her being in a plane crash in Iran and that story got squashed. Several weeks later she makes appearance in front of congress with the fresnal glasses, looking like absolute hell, and made the infamous "...what difference, at this point, does it make...".
What the hell happened to her such that Comey could not let them get the health records? There is something very weird about this whole thing and it has to do with the Iran deal in my opinion.
Amazing find. No way she carries on as before.
ReplyDeleteHow the fuck did they fuck up this bad?
@17
ReplyDeleteAgree on the CYA piece for Comey. I'd say that's definitely a contributing factor to this whole situation.
Heard somewhere that in this whole mix Huma lost her immunity. Can we confirm this?
@11 Rusty that is just ignorant. Comey is as dirty as they get. Breitbart already exposed how deep he is in with the Clinton Foundation last month: http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/09/10/exposed-fbi-director-james-comeys-clinton-foundation-connection/
ReplyDeleteHe's a lifelong GOPe Cuck that has always performed exactly as expected when inside the beltway.
Trump should say he is currently considering exactly what might justify a pardon of the Clintons as it will be a minor but serious concern early in his Presidency.

ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter how discredited she is with Paul Ryan there to rubber stamp 'immigration reform.' 0% chance Ryan give her an amnesty bill to sign. Game/Set/Match.

Harry Reid has declared war on the FBI, smooth move keep this in the news by having old white near death Democratic party politicians declaring political war on an institution with favorable ratings
ReplyDeleteWarrant served for Weiner / Abedin's computer.
ReplyDeleteWe've had hunches that she was corrupt since the early nineties. Now we have actual proof.
ReplyDeleteI'M SO ENTERTAINED RIGHT NOW!
Comey covered his corrupt ass. Too many people saw and knew about Weiner's laptop and the emails on it to keep this under wraps.
ReplyDeleteClinton ultimately is a money-grubbing shill. If she is way behind by the middle of the week, to salvage Democrats down ballot she will be paid handsomely either to step aside or, more likely, announce she won't serve more than one term. This will be a historic week. The Banana Empire and its Imperial City are about to surrender some ground.
Scott Adams just posted a piece on his blog about this suggesting that Comey is a patriot who has taken two bullets for his country: one when declining to pursue the investigation, and one now. Before you scoff at that, read the piece and recognize its persuasive power at guiding people to think that these emails have something "disqualifying" in them (Adams' term, and what a powerful one it is.)
ReplyDelete"Clinton ultimately is a money-grubbing shill. If she is way behind by the middle of the week, to salvage Democrats down ballot she will be paid handsomely either to step aside or, more likely, announce she won't serve more than one term. "

Clinton ultimately is a money-grubbing shill.

to people with an addiction to power, there is never enough.
DeleteI never did get that. After a certain point, how much fucking money do you need?
DeleteHow else would a sociopath's empty soul measure his virtue? This is also why they're just as happy with shrinking the pie in a way that their rank goes up; they lack internal weights and measures, so "winning" is merely about beating you -- and there's always someone with a bigger yacht, so they can never quit the hedonic treadmill.
Comey is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He already went all in for Hillary, and now they've discovered something that's hands-down disqualifying. So either he puts it out now to salvage the last shreds of his credibility, or he can sit on it, to the extent that's even possible, and be forever known as the guy who hid critical information from voters.

ReplyDeleteRead the Daily Mail article. His wife and his friends, as well as his colleagues, were furious with him for going along to get along. So, when he was handed the excuse to reopen the investigation, he did.
There is definitely a big THERE there.
Everyone in Washington is a political animal. Comey understands that Trump will win convincingly, and is acting accordingly to save his career and reputation.
ReplyDeleteVD wrote:Read the Daily Mail article. His wife and his friends, as well as his colleagues, were furious with him for going along to get along. So, when he was handed the excuse to reopen the investigation, he did.
ReplyDeleteRead that mail article. Agreed.
The Hatch act as it relates to law enforcement is a joke. The Democrats keep going on about how Comey violated it and is "affecting the election". To that I say damn right and he should. If you have a stack of evidence against a candidate that would have the power to pardon themselves then I would think the right thing to do would be to let the electorate know about it.
ReplyDeleteThe most damning part of this whole thing is what the elite are now saying out in the open. "Russia is trying to influence the election", "the FBI is trying to influence the election". The real "crime" they are worried about is shining sunlight on all of their schemes.
@34
ReplyDeleteNot going to happen. Trump will challenge because everyone know's she's cheating. No, she'll get impeached within the first 100 days easy.

It never will be enough for her because the bitch is stark-raving insane, to mention the 800-pound Harambe in the room.
8ch has a lot to say. Well, we know if Weiner is involved, it's nasty, right? The only real silver bullet for Clinton is seriously deviant sex. Democrats have no shame, otherwise. Weiner might end up being relatively normal before this cesspool is pumped out.
ReplyDeleteWeiner is disgusting, but from what I've read, he is a bisexual who likes jailbait. Not a "pedo" in the biological term.
Delete@LonestarWhacko
I think "ephebophile" is the term.
DeleteIt's RICO all the way down the turd packee president lied about emails so sometime in the future he will be drug down which means now everyone is trying to work out their relationships and deals with other crooks. ReplyDeletebasementhomebrewer wrote:The real "crime" they are worried about is shining sunlight on all of their schemes.
ReplyDeleteIts why she put together that email server in the first place--to hide the evidence of all the wrongdoings. Why else would they have taken the extraordinary step of setting up a private email server? The fed gov provides secure emails, why did she need her own?
The only answer is To hide her emails from discovery, because they contain damning evidence of crime and corruption.
But an UNSECURE server?? And apparently Huma had her stuff auto-synced to her home computer?? I think I'm more appalled by the absolute stupidty involved here than I am by the actual criminal conduct.
Rusty Fife wrote:'Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,' said the source. 'They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.'
ReplyDeleteAWW, poor baby. That whole Daily Mail article reads like Pravda level propaganda designed to salvage a shred of credibility for this disgraced sellout and his entire outfit. Where are the public resignations? Where are the public whistle blowers? Where are the arrests? The Weiner laptop has 650,000 (!) emails on it. It will take weeks to review and serve as a convenient distraction to the real damning Wikileaks revelations. Meanwhile the FBI will do nothing while Hillary steals her way into the White House.
The entire FBI and DOJ is corrupt from top to bottom and can not be trusted with all its powers. Its a clear and present danger to the people of the United States. It should be disbanded, with all pensions and benefits REVOKED, right before the mass Nuremberg style trials of its former employees.
I have a feeling things are going to get real interesting this week. If Assange wasn't blowing smoke about having the silver bullet then things are going to get straight up crazy.
ReplyDeleteThe machine is going to be out in full force and they are going to drop as many questionable revelations about Trump as they can. They also are going to drop whatever dirt they might have on Comey. Given his position, I would guess they have something good on him.
Assange and multiple people at Wikileaks may end up dead but I doubt it (The wet work guys don't want to be the last on the sinking ship). They will likely have cyber attacks attempted on their networks all week though. I am guessing Assange drops what he has either late in the day Thursday or early Friday for maximum effect going into election day.
That's been around for two months now and not much was heard after the first week or so. Is there some new development with Preet?
ReplyDeletePreet was the one who subpoenaed for Weiner's computer in the first place. This is his ball to run.

ReplyDeleteUnless they do it on live TV these stories of "disgruntled" FBI agents is just so much BS PR to make the Bureau look good. The FBI has been all about PR since it was founded by that cross dressing fag Hoover to act as the secret political police for the Globalist DC Establishment.
"We're talking an international child enslavement and sex ring."
ReplyDeleteWe've had hunches about this since the eighties.
Yeah, if Kee-rikey is true, Weiner and Epstein may turn the Dem Party into bigger jew-haters than Hitler. Literally.
ReplyDeleteWOW. She is done. When she's also hitching rides on the Lolita Express, you know something is completely and utterly fucked up about that.
ReplyDeleteThey all need to be executed in the middle of the street, kind of like how Vince Foster killed himself.
As has been pointed out - it's been over 48hrs now. If they had any weapons grade material on Trump it would out dancing with the MSM by now. Instead we're seeing polls shifting, google allowing negative searches, and general malaise on the part of the MSM.
ReplyDeleteOGRE wrote: I think I'm more appalled by the absolute stupidty involved here than I am by the actual criminal conduct.
ReplyDeleteIt's not stupidity. It's a combination of carelessness and arrogance. They assumed they could worm their way out of anything that might be discovered. They were pretty much right about that until the FBI was on the verge of a mutiny and left over evidence surfaced giving the director an excuse to reopen the case.
The nail in the coffin was Huma deciding to split with Weiner. It's likely she didn't get a hold of his laptop and destroy it because she wanted to avoid the awkward situation of seeing him.
He probably was at least passingly aware of what could be found on the laptop and it was an act of vengeance handing it over without making them get a warrant. (that could be overestimating his intelligence though).
It's funny... SJWs have been saying they were going to try to nail Trump on child sex charges.
ReplyDeleteThe Third Law of SJW is fully in operation here, folks.
I'm not sure "funny" is the word to use.
ReplyDeleteIllinois' governor was arrested in 2009 as it was determined he was an active criminal conspiracy in progress.
ReplyDeleteHillary on the Lolita Express? Please people, there is no way that's true. Wiener and Billy -- absolutely. Hillary? No fucking way. Just no fucking way.
ReplyDeleteMoreover, if you think that the Democrat party cares at all about child rape, think again. Everyone who knows anything at all knows that Bill has been on the Lolita Express a half dozen times and nothing as been done.
These are the same people who approve of vibrancy, who allowed Rotherham, who overturned the conviction of Muhammad "Sex Emergency" Rapefugee in Austria. The same people who allowed a million Muslims of military age to grope their way across Europe. They don't care -- this is what they are.
How the fuck did they fuck up this bad?
ReplyDeleteSJW Convergence is a real thing, and it doesn't apply only to science fiction groups and software projects.
@33, I'm not buying Scott Adams' perspective this time. Comey always had a very easy out, just make the honest recommendation and punt the ball to the DoJ. Let Loretta sweat it.
ReplyDeleteSure, the argument that indicting a presidential candidate is "too hot" does have merit. Back in the 1990s Ken Starr declined to indict Hillary for perjury on this exact same basis. It was thought that indicting a sitting FLOTUS was "too hot", and Starr faced a staff hostile to that conclusion back then, too.
And look where it got us, if Starr had done the right thing back then we would not be facing the current crisis. For the love of God, at some point you have to do the right thing, this is basic morality.
And, considering that, a chorus did exist (a chorus!) around the "FBI primary" saying to Comey that indictment grew harder every single day. She should have been indicted before the Democrat National Convention made her the nominee. She OUGHT to have been. Then the Dems could have factored her perfidy honestly and made the open decision either to back it or pick another horse.
Comey waited far, far too long to absolve himself of any "I'm taking a bullet and leaving it to the voters" excuse. Integrity and morality presented various credible options for him, yet he waited until the pincers of political pressures made a full-bore cop-out all too likely.
TL;DR -- Comey's a dirty cop.
This explains why Harry Reid is going all-in on starting a war with the FBI. He's always struck me as a diddler, and he's probably literally balls deep in the whole (((Epstein))) business.

ReplyDeleteThe whole of the FBI has a reputation that they carefully built over their history
They burned their reputation to the ground along with 80+ people outside of Waco, Texas in April of 1993.
Murder, evidence tampering, murder, witness tampering, murder, perjury before Congress, murder of children.
Probably murder of an expert witness before he could testify to Congress, too.The FBI has a reputation, oh, yes and they got it by obeying the orders of Bill Clinton, then the CYA had to start and continue.
Now we see where shilling for the Clintons multiple times has gotten the FBI. There may be honest agents. Not many, and for sure not very high up.
Because the ashes of Waco cover the whole, stinking, organization from top to nearly the bottom.
PS: There's no statute of limitations for the crime of murder. Even for Federal agents.

It took months for people to process Bill Clinton's sexcapades and while perverted most people didn't believe credible circumstantial evidence at all and many denied/engaged in cognitive dissonance over it even after the Blue Dress.

If the Nice White Retired Schoolteachers just get disgusted and don't vote at all, that might be good enough in some states.

Win-win.
@100 -- "top three causes..."
ReplyDeleteto paraphrase Stevens: "These three things/Are one. (Pages of illustrations.)"
@62, think it through. First, the "dirty cop" angle doesn't explain the testimony of others about his character or the security that comes from a 10-year appointment. It also doesn't explain his press conference where he laid out all the evidence about what she did. He didn't have to do that if he was just dirty. Now, it may be that his approach wasn't the best or smartest approach, but that's not what Adams is doing. He's trying to find a story that makes most of the evidence make sense.
ReplyDeleteBut second, think about it strategically. If a man believes so strongly in not unduly influencing the political process that he'll suffer the slings and arrows of criticism, then it must take something very, very big to make him suffer the slings and arrows for doing the opposite as well. That's the persuasion angle: if Comey is believed to be acting nobly and self-sacrificially in both cases, then people will believe the news is a bombshell even if no details leak out until after the election.
It's a clever play on Adams' part. Of course, if the details do leak out and they are as bad as Vox indicated, the cleverness won't be needed. But Adams didn't know that when he wrote it.
It's starting to unravel

It's not about money. If it was about money every billionaire would retire after making his first billion. But they don't do that because it's not about money it's about power. Heck, a couple of hundred million will keep you in luxury for a lifetime but it won't get you power. To have real power you need a whole lot more than that. Only billionaires have real power. And even one billion doesn't translate into much power these days - you need multiple billions.
If the objective is power then you can never have too much money.
My guess is that Trump has as many friends on the NYPD as David Goldberg, if not more. So, this is not news to Trump. He's just figuring out the best way to play the full house he was just dealt.

ReplyDeleteThe only real silver bullet for Clinton is seriously deviant sex.
In the cesspit that is the United States in 2016 I doubt there is any deviant sex that would cause a candidate any problem. Deviant sex has been so completely normalised that no-one notices it any more. Or, more accurately, no-one dares to notice it any more because if you do you're a hateful bigot.
And if voters think a candidate will advance their interests (i.e. provide them with free stuff) they'll vote for that candidate no matter how much evil and criminality is associated with them.
Obama goes down with this ship.
ReplyDeleteDarn it, I posted a link about this earlier today, went off and am at the back on the line in comments. Its a little embarrassing that I predicted the wrong Clinton snorting cocaine off of little girls. I was actually hoping TRUMP would do wetwork to bust all the corrupt people Epstein has blackmail videos of, now it might come out before the election, it would devastate the left and a big chunk of the GOPe.
ReplyDeleteLook, I think the Clintons are corrupt, but I'll believe they are going down when I see it.
If you see it, the video will probably be pixilated like the "dancing boys of Afghanistan" documentary
@103 ya my first thought was this has to be very big for Comey to do this less than two weeks before the election. No way is it some pissant political ploy. He would catch hellfire for that, possibly a felony prosecution. So there has to be something there such that NOT coming forward before the election would be seen as a coverup, as opposed to just waiting till after the election if its more of the same.
ReplyDelete@92 Some of the things she might be charged with regarding the handling of official records and classified documents, prohibit someone convicted of such from holding any public office. Its automatic upon conviction. Now it'd be a time getting a conviction, probably years, but it would put a lock on her serving as President, and would relinquish the need for impeachment proceedings.

ReplyDeleteBut would this be a good thing? Might be more people willing to vote for Kreepy Kaine than for Hillary.
What may still happen: Democrats will just drag Clinton across the finish line, seething because of the indignities they have to endure in the name of progress. Then Clinton will resign, the scandal will be buried with her, and Kaine will be seen in a better light by comparison.
ReplyDeleteKaine might also issue her and her entourage a blanket pardon, there is precedent exactly for this.
Kaine will make some conciliatory gestures to the Republican party (reduce the top tax rate by 1%, increase defense spending, or whatever) and the Republicans will be able to claim a symbolic victory. In return, after a lot of token resistance, Republicans will not veto Kaine's candidate for the Supreme Court. Both sides will compromise in order to heal a divided nation.
Clinton may still go into history as the first female president. As for Trump, he'll probably (be made to) go bankrupt and will be sued for sexual harassment or assault.
The main thing is not to have any more serious leaks before Election Day. If they can manage that, I think they can still spin whatever has already happened. It's not even about the leaks themselves, it's about being able to ignore them with plausible deniability, if nobody in the mainstream press talks about them.
Where are the logs showing the Weiner and Hilldog on the Lolita Express?
ReplyDeleteWell, well, well. It's the Current Year, and it's certainly getting way too Current for my stomach.
ReplyDeleteslarrow @103, I have to disagree. We have seen this notion that Adams refers to, this supposed high reverence for the sanctity of the political process, non-interference in it, and so forth. I mentioned the example of Ken Starr vs. FLOTUS Hillary Clinton, I'll throw in Justice John Roberts v. Obamacare. These are examples of where the supposed high reverence came into play, as Starr and Roberts white knighted for it.
ReplyDeleteIn all such cases the white knight move is the absolute worst thing one can do. The plain fact is that elements of our system have an appointed job to do, and they MUST do them if the system is to work. If you are an FBI director, you must apply the rule of law. If you are a Supreme Court justice, you must defend the Constitution. Or things go horribly wrong.
What James Comey did was not just wrong but egregiously wrong, and he introduced _insanely bad_ interference into that sanctified political process by not doing his appointed job. Consider, in James Surowieki's book _The Wisdom Of The Crowd_ he laid out five conditions where the crowd wisdom goes wrong, where group decisions (such as an election) fail. Primo among those reasons was misinformation. It's the surest way to get a bad result. It's the old "garbage in, garbage out" phenom.
Comey's stance of "I'll not prosecute, but I'll be tough on her" did not go over as Adams claimed. Quite the opposite, no sooner had he announced no prosecution then the Hillary camp declared complete vindication. That there was no "there, there", and never was, etc. And that was the narrative. Comey's action, therefore, introduced misinformation into the process. He sullied his supposedly revered high sanctity of political process.
That white knighting move is such weaksauce. Okay, maybe an argument can be made that however it fell out, Comey really did pursue this course with these intentions, he just chose very poorly and it blew up in his face. Big mistake.
I don't know about that - he did actively and wilfully fail to do his job in order to achieve this outcome. The case against Hillary Clinton is not some slight thing, Comey had an overwhelming case against her. Again, not a slight case, but an overwhelming case.
And even so, the choice to prosecute or not is not even in his job description. It's Loretta Lynch's. All he had to do was do his job and pass along the recommendation of the inquiry. He went well out of his way to torpedo this, he went out and assumed authority his office did NOT even have in order to do so. He made the Attorney General's call for her. Why? Because she got caught in the tarmac in Phoenix having a secret meeting with Bill Clinton.
That's why. If that's not a white knight move but a dirty cop move, I don't know what is.
If the pedophile thing is for real, that would be game changing in more ways than one. The situation makes it unhidable, unable to be buried. The absolute disgust and revulsion the vast majority of people in this country would feel towards Hillary, the DNC for letting her steal the nomination, and the SJWs and other related perverts would be immense. The narrative then becomes "See! We told you that a bunch of perverts are trying to corrupt our society and diddle our daughters in womens bathrooms." This would go beyond mere election politics and cut right through the social justice bullshit, right to the heart of the forces driving the division in our country.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they'll run with "It's their private life!" It'll be like we're reliving the '90s. I hope they bring back grunge, too. I kinda miss grunge.
ReplyDeleteThe law on this isn't at all clear to me. If Hillary steps down, would a vote for Hillary automatically become a vote for Kaine? I mean, why should it? Is there any law or precedent on this? And would that vary state by state? This has the potential to be a truly epic clusterfuck.

ReplyDelete@120 I agree. I would also add that Scott Adams' theory doesn't hold water for an additional reason: Comey didn't give the Democrats the opportunity to make an informed decision either. Had he recommended an indictment, there could have been a Democrat replacement candidate before or at the convention.
ReplyDelete@123 -- We don't vote for any of the candidates, we vote for electors who have pledged to a candidate. If any candidate withdraws, dies, or gets indicted before the Electoral College meets, that's terra incognita. Rules regarding how electors are bound vary from state to state.
ReplyDeleteRemember people, we aren't voting for the actual candidates, we are voting for a slate of electors pledged to vote for that party's candidate. If Hillary can't or won't continue to run, the electors can vote for whomever. So whether she continues to be a candidate it doesn't invalidate any votes for her or the Dem party; the votes are for the electors not for her.

So what does a Secretary of State to if it's 22% Hillary, 25% Kaine, and 46% Trump?
ReplyDeleteMaybe there are well defined protocols for this situation. Then again, maybe not.
@134 The protocol for a president stepping down/dying is provided in the Constitution and has occurred several times, so that's not really comparable.

ReplyDeleteTrump's always known how deep this goes with the Clinton Foundation and Epstein. That's why he's always so confident about getting his program through Congress. He knows all the pressure points. It will be a glorious 8 years.
ReplyDeleteAnother thought, the Bush family has known the Clinton's and swam in the same fish bowl with them for years. There's no way they don't know who these people really are and yet Bush senior and family are supporting her this election. I won't hold my breath but the public should be calling into question everything the incestuous elite have done to this country over the years, their motivations and the real nature of their decisions. You have to be awfully naive or apathetic to believe that Bush, Obama, McCain, Clinton, etc. have mired this country in one foreign entanglement after another all for the sake of spreading freedom and democracy to the poor oppressed peoples of the world.....except for Saudi of course.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2003/02/06/15709461.php
Democrats probably really want the first female President to be a Democrat. They have waited for so long (8 years), they may not want to wait for another 4 years. Also, this will be a propaganda victory that they'll use in every possible way.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happens, Clinton won't be indicted until the election. After the election, she can be pardoned. Then, whenever someone brings up her misdeeds, Democrats and the mainstream press can just shut down the discussion by pointing out that she has never been indicted, then crying sexism.
Until the election, they can just pretend to believe in the presumption of innocence. In order to be persuaded that Clinton is guilty, they have to make a logical inference and you cannot force someone to make a logical inference. There is also the press to muddy the waters and give plausible deniability.
Anyway, I don't think Democrats ever cared too much for Clinton as a person or thought she was particularly good. In this way, she can still serve as a token. First female president: another one checked off the bucket list. If she later comes out as bicurious or whatever, then it's a two-for-one.
So what does a Secretary of State to if it's 22% Hillary, 25% Kaine, and 46% Trump?
ReplyDeleteDude, it's going to be like 65-35 for Trump. Get ready.
There are probably a number of SCOTUS justices that will have to resign before this is all over. Trump really may get the chance to appoint 5 justices in his first 4 years.
ReplyDelete@136 - I'm betting that there are going to be a lot of hurriedly drafted laws about dealing with unusual election situations hitting the books soon in any state that doesn't have a clear path to walk.
ReplyDelete@138 - perhaps it's because they are easy to control. You elect a moron that can't control his weewee, then you tell him what to say, how to vote, and where to go. All the power, none of the public appearances; stay on the sidelines, have your stoolie send hefty contracts your way. I hope the FBI can leverage this into a LOT of jail-time for a lot of people.
@126 - if we chould dispose of most of congress on a treason charge, or at least a credible threat of it such that most of them retire and don't run again, life would be very good.
@136 The Sec of State certifies the slate of electors, not the candidate.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't really matter whose name is at the top of the ticket, any vote cast for that name is a vote for that slate of electors, as determined by the corresponding party.
The big issue would be if Hillary has to step aside due to some major criminal conduct, such as murder, pedophilia, etc., this close to an election, theres no way to change the ballots. Her name and all that it signifies is still on the ticket. And it becomes a very visceral experience to have to vote for that person, even if its not actually a vote for that person. Also, theres the risk of people knowing that a candidate isn't running so then they won't vote for that candidates electors. Thats the danger of having the candidate step down; the ballots can't be changed this close to the election. Every vote is for Hillary according to the ballots, even if something changes such that she withdraws or is forced out; but every vote is for the Dem electors even if it still says Hillary on the ballot.
@145
ReplyDeleteThere are probably a number of SCOTUS justices that will have to resign before this is all over.
Starting with Roberts.
A Constitutional crisis is almost guaranteed if Hillary manages to steal the election and quash the prosecution of her multitudinous crimes. I don't think there's any way out of it. Nixon was impeached for 18 missing minutes of tape. Hillary deleted 33000 emails that were under subpoena, and committed innumerable other felonies. But the Israel First cucks like Krauthammer still want her....

Good point; it also fits well with the past few elections which, honestly, seem to have been set up to weaken the natural born citizen requirement (McCain/Obama, both had issues w/ birthplaces; Obama/Romney, both had issues w/ parentage [Romney's dad was apparently not a citizen at the time of his birth]; and lastly the big push we saw in the primaries for obviously-ineligible Ted Cruz) — and since at least Bush/Gore it seems that Globalists (or at least Statists) were set up to hold the primaries's nominations.

ReplyDeleteI sure hope you're right. But a little thumbnail math... (preferences, not turnout, which will make the crucial difference.)
ALL NON-WHITES: Solidly Hillary. Actually they're not voting for her, they're voting anti-white.
Latinos of course, have an extra special animus against Trump (and have already committed serious violence on that account). The nail-biter here is what their turnout will be, and what their egregious faked turnout will be.
GAYS AND JEWS: Solidly anti-white, (in the case of Jews, gleefully, deliriously anti-white), therefore solidly Hillary
WHITE WOMEN: A tougher call, but solidly Hillary, just less viciously so than the above groups.
That leaves white men, a substantial number of whom are either cucked, batsh!t stupid, or brainwashed into not recognizing their own interests. There is of course also a tidal wave of enthusiastic white men, but since white men are essentially the basic quiditas of America, that thing which basically makes the thing... this election is essentially a measurement of whether America is finally mathematically over with. I mean, it's been spiritually and culturally dead for quite some time, but this will be an autopsy report of sorts.
That said, I'd love to see you be right.
Looks like the FBI is blocking itself in this investigation already. They have determined that they need a search warrant to proceed:
ReplyDeletehttp://freebeacon.com/politics/need-warrant-may-delay-resolution-clinton-email-case/
Note that the laptop under question was already supposed to have been handed over by Huma, who in fact testified that she did hand over all devices.
Also, the device in question was freely surrendered by her husband. In such case typically a warrant or subpoena is not required. The FBI here is saying they need a search warrant to search a surrendered item that is already in their possession. Which smacks of utter bs.
If Trump loses (D.N.), then that game is over and the new game, Secession and Partition, begins. In which case, the slogan not be "Make America Great Again," it will be "Make America Again."

You got my attention with 9/11 and now this?
Umm... what? That's creepy.
What are the chances of a coup d'état?
Zero. Zip. Nada. And I'm starting to wonder what kind of weird foreign freak you are.
Civil War II, now that's a possibility. In a 4GW way.
But a coup? Not in a million years. Whoever you are, you don't understand us at all.
I never did get that. After a certain point, how much fucking money do you need?
ReplyDeleteAs much as you can get.Do not mistake these fucks as being honorable nor decent.
@ 162
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be so sure of that. If the FBI has clearly revolted, that layer of protection is gone. This system is held together by armed employees of the state, and that is it. If they stand down, anything can happen.
Child sex ring...Weiner, Clintons, Epstein. Sounds right.

ReplyDeleteThe problem with corrupt institutions is their advertising becomes more stridently and desperately noble the more corrupt they actually are.
ReplyDeleteAnd there are many people who want to believe the noble sentiments and high principles, who want to work for such a noble purpose and who, once appointed to such roles, actually try their best to implement them.
Hence the never-ending line of reformers, whistleblowers, and protesters shuffling from the boardroom to the gallows
I hope they crucify the bitch.
The point isn't trusting the court system. There has been speculation as to whether a president can serve from a jail cell.
ReplyDeleteDarling, the courts have to put Hillary in that jail cell, because she sure ain't going to walk into it on her own out of a sudden sense of remorse.
The main photo at this article on Hillary's Last Stand:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.wsj.com/articles/laptop-may-include-thousands-of-emails-linked-to-hillary-clintons-private-server-1477854957
Has at least three visible Trump signs behind her (plus an obscured sign to the right)! Along with the ever present Magic Negro.
If the FBI has clearly revolted...
ReplyDeleteHillary Clinton has been in Washington for many, many years, and she doesn't exactly have a reputation of using her winning personality to earn the undying loyalty of underlings (dying underlings on the other hand...). I could easily imagine a whole bunch of career staffers more than happy to help throw her under the biggest bus they could find.
@175
ReplyDeleteSarcasm?
There are real men in the FBI. As evident from the memo.
Yeah, I agree. @175
ReplyDeleteThe rank and file probably hate her. As any upstanding agent that takes an oath would.
177. Ron
ReplyDeleteSurvey says you are a big time dumb ass.
You don't have to apologize, but you should.
OT: somebody linked to the /pol/ meme workshop for #TheVotingDead, it was pretty groovy to see those bad boys in action.
ReplyDeleteIf someone talks to them over there, this might be a fun one for #draftourdaughters:
Hillary Deleted Tens of Thousands of E-mails
Now She Wants to Delete Tens of Thousands of Females

ReplyDeleteIf a president steps down, who takes his place? I honestly don't see why it should be any different during the election.
Rather than create a "constitutional crisis", and an excuse for CoG, Kaine should replace her.
Noah B wrote:@134 The protocol for a president stepping down/dying is provided in the Constitution and has occurred several times, so that's not really comparable.
It may not be comparable as written on constitutional parchment, but I fail to see where it couldn't be comparable. It beats a constitutional crisis and the after-affects. On the other hand, they could nullify the winning party, and put in the losing second party, which would be Bernie. But then again, votes have already been cast.
Just another commenter wrote:@136 - I'm betting that there are going to be a lot of hurriedly drafted laws about dealing with unusual election situations hitting the books soon in any state that doesn't have a clear path to walk.
I am sure the whole process in the meantime, will go schizoid. It's going to be interesting to see what they do, while they are hurriedly drafting laws.
We were warned about "political parties". And here we are with just two. What a spectacle.
Fact is, every LEA from local to fed oversteps the boundaries of our constitution. I fail to see what is respectable about that.
ReplyDeletePeep this joint! This is a historian of La Cosa Nostra speaking about the Clinton Crime Family.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQ7Mwwdq5Qc
I'm not saying that Cosa Nostra was a good thing but it is becoming apparent that RICO is becoming a means by which the Federal government sought to eliminate competition and nothing more.
ReplyDeleteBut a coup? Not in a million years. Whoever you are, you don't understand us at all.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but then you have to ask the question... are we still who we used to be?
True, but then you have to ask the question... are we still who we used to be?
ReplyDeleteWell, no, but the spics don't have the numbers. Yet. And it's just another aspect of "white flight" that we would find 4G civil war preferable to coup, because avoidance and legalism. (War is non-illegal due to being extra-legal.)

Just asking bro. Just don't let your President goad Russia or China into launching nukes as my country is a target as well because my country suffers from "little man syndrome" and some how has managed to piss off China, Indonesia and Russia by threatening them. Hell, our then Prime Minister physically threatened Putin whom was a guest in our country at the time.

@104 is (((Dershowitz))) the original model for the (((le merchant))) cartoon? An awful archetype of perversion from every young girl's nightmare
ReplyDeleteThe local media here in my European country are mostly going on about how outrageous it is that the FBI is trying to influence the election, and here are a few more senior Democrat figures who are very outraged indeed. Also, the unacceptable Trump has been making sinister comments.
ReplyDeleteLots of spinning about reactions and very little analysis of what's really going on, in other words. While they can't ignore it, the reasonable interpretation is that the obedient local lügenmedia are ready to simply discard the whole affair if given the opportunity.
@109 Remember when Bilderberg, Bohemian grove, CFR, trilateral commission, etc...etc...were all just conspiracy theories and anyone mentioning them dismissed as a loon?
ReplyDeleteThe paedophilia amongst the elites is just as true - look at Jimmy saville and his personal connections to royalty, politicians and establishment figures. They all knew what he was doing (including the queen and PM Thatcher) I will not be surprised when their participation is shown.
Is there any crime Hillary could commit that would either lose her the support of entitlement parasites or cause the NeverTrumpers to feel an ounce of shame? I don't think even substantiated allegations of underage sex would move single moms, Mexicans, Bill Kristol. There is just a lot of scum whose participation in the political process is incompatible with civilization. We will get a precise measure of their percentage of the population next week.
ReplyDeletePerhaps someone said this hundreds of comments ago, but: If indictments had gown handed out before nowe, the globalist machine would have had ample time to choose another corrupt candidate. Instead, now they're fucked in the ass.

No evidence of Trump doing anything this bad yet bang your fists on tables and fabricate evidence saying he did. Plenty of evidence Hillary does this stuff and suppress suppress suppress..... she made it to even 8 days before the election speaks highly of the electorate. #WesternCivilizationIsStillWorthSaving
ReplyDelete@40 "Comey understands that Trump will win convincingly, and is acting accordingly to save his career and reputation."
ReplyDeleteIf Comey is as smart as everyone says, he knows he cannot possibly 'save his career.' He will be forever *branded,* scorned as the man who ran... er... who lied to the world to cover up for a traitor. There is nothing he can do or say that will wipe that clean -- ESPECIALLY not with Trump!!

I'm fully as cynical as you could hope - I was responding to up thread comments saying "Well, she could still be president in jail." The answer in this case appears to be no - I was replying to a theoretical question. That doesn't mean anyone thinks she's actually going to end up there.
I don't think even Trump will change that actually. The Trumpslide happens and she's on the first jet to Quatar and good riddance to bad rubbish.
