Fox News: Assange will be arrested soon

Fox News Just Reported That Julian Assange “Will Be Arrested In A Matter Of Hours”

Just watched the video. They did say it, although they may be getting it from the same 4chan source that I linked to yesterday.

"Can't we just drone this guy?"
- Hillary Clinton, 23 November 2010

"Faced with the speculation of the last few hours, the Government of Ecuador ratifies the validity of the asylum granted to Julian Assange four years ago.  We reaffirm that his protection by the Ecuadorean state will continue while the circumstances that led to the granting of asylum remain."
- Guillaume Long, Foreign Minister, Ecuador

Good

He is a danger to society and needs to be taken care of

Blogger Aeoli Pera October 18, 2016 10:57 AM

They've already assassinated his lawyer.

Announcing that ahead of time tells his people to get him out ahead of time. Maybe they're trying to scare him out into a net?

For forgot your parentheses. He's a danger to (((society))).

Assange is a hero. I will pray that he will not yet become a martyr.

Anonymous A Most Deplorable Paradigm Is More Than Twenty Cents October 18, 2016 11:00 AM

I have a smidge of pity for whatever group of IT people have had to troll through the mess of files still available, in order to figure out "Ok, Assange released these emails of Podesta, what else has he got from that time period and so what will come out next?". That's got to be a really crappy job.

There must be something really ugly out there scheduled to drop in the next 14 days or so, something truly October Surprise quality, and it's getting closer. So pressure Ecuador to cut Assange's connectivity, and now pressure both Ecuador and the Brits to arrest him for whatever, in order to isolate him.

Question is, have the various intel services tracked down all the possible "deadman switch" files, individuals, and maybe even bots that are out there? Or will any arrest of Assange trigger the Mother of all File Dumps including whatever ugly truth they are trying to keep hidden?

Blogger William Meisheid October 18, 2016 11:01 AM

So, the Ecuadorian Embassy is throwing him out into the waiting arms of the British Police or are they letting their sovereignty be breached by letting the British Police in?

Anonymous Tiny Duck October 18, 2016 11:05 AM

Assange lost all credibility when he jumped into bed with Trump. I mean, if he were an equal opportunity attack dog, that'd be fine, but he isn't.

The Russians don't want to weaken Trump, so Wikileaks doesn't. For one reason or another.

Fuck that guy. He's been accused of rape (which was admittedly horribly handled by the Swedish prosecutors), fled to the Ecuadorian embassy, sitting there for years sabotaging the investigation against him, he releases hacked material in order to hurt Hillary Clinton and now this.

He shows every sign of being a sexual predator and general asshole. He just doesn't get away with his conspiracy theory excuses anymore.

Anonymous That Would Be Telling October 18, 2016 11:10 AM

A further version of "Nothing is confirmed until it's officially denied"?

Hell of a calculus, that his continued document dumps are more of a threat than the prominence the previous ones would get if he's arrested, and it assumes all "deadman switch" arrangements have been found and neutralized.

And to the extent the Russians are involved, it's not bloody likely to work, they really don't want to get in a hotter war with us.

Or maybe that's what's changed? Suppose they aren't behind the Wikileaks Podesta dumps? It certainly doesn't take a nation state to defeat these losers' InfoSec, suppose they're uninvolved, have been enjoying the results up to now, but have decided that taking the blame, especially for future dumps, is no longer worth it?

Especially since for all anyone can tell, none of them have had a material effect on the election? End it now and let it fade away? Note also that they're a lot more likely to be able to get results than the clown crew running the US right now. "Nice tea you're drinking, it would be a shame if some polonium ended up in it...."

Anonymous Wilbur Hassenfus October 18, 2016 11:12 AM

Everything he has released has been credible. That's the measure of his credibility, not some childish attempt at disqualifying him for not being a partisan leftist. Nobody here but you defines partisan leftism as truth, so you're kind of p***ing on your own shoes with that one.

I wonder what it's like inside your diseased little mind. So much hate, so much conflict. The facts are always on the wrong side, in your world. That must bother you.

Anonymous Undocumented Civilizationalist October 18, 2016 11:12 AM

Wikileaks is tweeting that John Kerry did pressure Ecuador back on Sept. 26th to stop Assange from dumping any documents. They are nervous.

But, the leaks are still coming. So, arresting Assange won't stop any dumps.

A few of them today are already embarrassing/damning. And this is only 28% of Podesta's emails so far.

Very few, if any, from Hillary herself so far. I wonder if they are holding those for last or just don't have any from her. But it's curious, considering how close she is to Podesta, that no emails between her and Podesta have surfaced in the dumps yet...

Blogger swiftfoxmark2 October 18, 2016 11:14 AM

So do they even have the charges lined up?

Anonymous bludo October 18, 2016 11:26 AM

@7
I suspect the NSA was a partial source. They have to be angry at Clinton/Blumenthal for having GAMMA intel on Her server, oddly sent from Blumenthal, and more oddly not redacted in the State Department releases.

Regarding Hitlery and Podesta emails, I've wondered ever since the email scandal broke about her actual degree of managing the state department. I have a strong suspicion that she was out of pocket a lot and it would explain the stupidity of the policy decisions and lack of direction.

Blogger Basil Makedon October 18, 2016 11:34 AM

It will be interesting to see if they arrest him. Arresting him now seemingly validates the allegations. It will also be interesting to discover how critical Assange is to the organization.

O'Keefe's latest video proves that violent "news " events at Trump events are manufactured by the Witch and her foot soldiers. See https://youtu.be/5IuJGHuIkzY. Silence from CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox News, The New York Times, etc. amounts to complicity, a confession of guilt and removes all doubt about the system being "rigged".

Blogger mjusiq October 18, 2016 11:38 AM

Tiny Duck Quacks again - as a Norwegian I will do some community service for you. Here is the very short version of Assanges rape case:

"Sweden’s Public Prosecutor’s Office was embarrassed in August this year when it leaked to the media that it was seeking to arrest Assange for rape, then on the same day withdrew the arrest warrant because in its own words there was “no evidence”. The damage to Assange’s reputation is incalculable. More than three quarters of internet references to his name refer to rape. Now, three months on and three prosecutors later, the Swedes seem to be clear on their basis to proceed. Consensual sex that started out with a condom ended up without one, ergo, the sex was not consensual."

Anna - the first rape accuser is a known feminist. She even had a blog where she laid out how women can take revenge against an asshole (man) dumping women, hurting their feelings: contact his job, lie and make mayhem. (Deleted from her blog)

She had sex with Assange - enjoyed it, but the other accuser, a friend of Anna - told her in secret that she have had sex with Assange - Anna felt very much betrayed - or dumped. She got mad and furious. revenge mode.

Long story short: its now all about a broken condom during sex - and the accusers feeling be "raped" - Assange should have known it was a broken condom = rape. It was deliberate. Yeah - The Swedish attorney going forward with the condom/rape accusations: a known hard-core feminist.

Quacks like Duck, Looks like a Duck etc - behold Tiny Duck. :-)

Of course he can be charged with rape on the flimsiest of "evidence." He's not middle-eastern.

The chilling thing was Podesta trolling wikileaks this weekend on twitter. I am not sure if it was braggadocio but it came off as more sinister to me. It was almost a message that he was unconcerned about whatever Julian may have.

Based on how damning the current released material is I would assume he saved the juiciest for last. Podesta has to have a pretty good idea about what is in the remaining material. That means that Podesta either is bluffing hard or he is confident that the most damning material is not going to get leaked for some reason or other.

I hope Assange has a very sophisticated set of dead man switching. Hopefully including people he is only vaguely know to have associated with. A set of live persons is better than a bot but those people can not be known to have associated with him.

So, what would happen if the KGB (or whatever they are calling it now) drove a box truck with Russian diplomatic plates up to the Ecuadorian Embassy, loaded a sealed box onto it, sealed the truck with a diplomatic seal, drove back to the Russian Embassy and unloaded Assange.

Wondering if this Circus Assange is a distraction for all of us while the Clinton campaign is plotting against their real target, Matt Drudge.

Being that he has a very LONG history with the Clintons thanks to that infamous blue dress that made his own career Platinum, I suspect that they would give their right arms and eye teeth to stop whatever sex scandal that Drudge is teasing us with.

Drudge has a talent for finding high quality dirt, I will give him props for that.

IF, and it's a big IF, Assange is really about to be put in a body bag as we suspect he might be,

I'd be truly shocked if he doesn't have something ready to dump. He's not the only one dumping things. Someone else, or many others, have the other documents and are ready to dump.

Plus, Drudge has been hinting at something.

I wonder if this is the reason for all the insane pressure recently. The MSM and Elites know something big is coming.

As I understand it, he sent out the file dump as an encrypted torrent of encrypted files. So anybody who was paying attention has the file dump. The decryption keys he sent out yesterday were the keys for the torrent itself. That's what "preclearance" means in this context. The contents of the torrent are, as reported, tarballs of files, grouped by subject/source and encrypted with their own keys. So if, for example, he decides it's John Kerry's turn to suffer, he sends out the key for the John Kerry tarball, and anyone who has the file dump can decrypt that group of files and read them.

The possession of the files is widely distributed, largely to people completely unknown to Assange, and unknowable to him.

I think we have to assume that NSA has the files and has them decrypted by now, it's been months. So the Powers that Be know what is in them. That's why they are desperate to stop their dissemination before the election. Unfortunately, they have no clear path to proceed.

I think it shows weakness and the rape trial is a joke, that can be reduced to a sentence of rhetoric "A broken condom equals rape, come on?"

Trump can destroy Clinton this time around, question her himself but with a gentle yet firm voice and when she dissembles speak plainly that she is lying or incompetent. The Assange issue is a a wedge

The droning of a Russian truck, its driver, a team of spetsnaz, and Assange on British territory as well as the ensuing hypersonic nuclear torpedoing of New York that engulfs the entire US eastern seaboard to the western limits bounded by Flint to Dayton to Macon is but a small price to pay for carrying out Hillary's desire.

Even better still, the axis of deplorable evil of Putin, Pepe, and Trump could then be blamed.

The Russians don't want to weaken Trump, so Wikileaks doesn't. For one reason or another.

The reality is TRUMP doesn't have any skeletons in his closet. He was raised with security who looked out for blackmailers, & everyone knows he likes big titied women, that are absent from the Epstein crowd. Even the gay magazine The Advocate praised him 15 years ago, and Howard (((Stern))) isn't going to release the old interview of him because he knows it would stop others from appearing on his locker room show.

It certainly doesn't take a nation state to defeat these losers' InfoSec, suppose they're uninvolved, have been enjoying the results up to now

. That means that Podesta either is bluffing hard or he is confident that the most damning material is not going to get leaked for some reason or other

He is associated with the assassination of a supreme court justice. It wouldn't put it past him to poison the entire embassy, or do the gas leak explosion with a couple extra blocks to cover his tracks. How do renters hide the damage from an aquarium leak they shouldn't have? Break the pipes to the bathtub.

loaded a sealed box onto it, sealed the truck with a diplomatic seal, drove back to the Russian Embassy and unloaded Assange

Russia could create a new tourist attraction by leaking a false location of "Home of free speech leakers" and have the hotels charge foreigners sky high fees while they searched for them.

As far as Scalia's death, my husband has a customer who claimed a close friend of his (gave names which I don't recall at the moment) is a hunter who was part of that group where Scalia died. He claimed someone turned of Scalia's "ventilator." I can't elaborate because I didn't hear the conversation, but Scalia did reportedly have breathing problems and sleep apnea, if I recall.
