How rule by banker manifests itself

Bankers selected Obama's entire cabinet one month before the 2008 election:
The most important revelation in the WikiLeaks dump of John Podesta’s emails has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton. The messages go all the way back to 2008, when Podesta served as co-chair of President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team. And a month before the election, the key staffing for that future administration was almost entirely in place, revealing that some of the most crucial decisions an administration can make occur well before a vote has been cast.

Michael Froman, who is now U.S. trade representative but at the time was an executive at Citigroup, wrote an email to Podesta on October 6, 2008, with the subject “Lists.” Froman used a Citigroup email address. He attached three documents: a list of women for top administration jobs, a list of non-white candidates, and a sample outline of 31 cabinet-level positions and who would fill them. “The lists will continue to grow,” Froman wrote to Podesta, “but these are the names to date that seem to be coming up as recommended by various sources for senior level jobs.”

The cabinet list ended up being almost entirely on the money. It correctly identified Eric Holder for the Justice Department, Janet Napolitano for Homeland Security, Robert Gates for Defense, Rahm Emanuel for chief of staff, Peter Orszag for the Office of Management and Budget, Arne Duncan for Education, Eric Shinseki for Veterans Affairs, Kathleen Sebelius for Health and Human Services, Melody Barnes for the Domestic Policy Council, and more. For the Treasury, three possibilities were on the list: Robert Rubin, Larry Summers, and Timothy Geithner.

This was October 6. The election was November 4. And yet Froman, an executive at Citigroup, which would ultimately become the recipient of the largest bailout from the federal government during the financial crisis, had mapped out virtually the entire Obama cabinet, a month before votes were counted.
No wonder Mark Carney thinks he can tell Theresa May what to do, and not do. Given the current political structure, he probably can.

I always wondered why the Donks would appoint Robert Gates, a GOPe crony to such a powerful position as Sec. Defense. You would think that that would be one of the plum spoils of victory you keep for your own side of the uniparty.

Well, question answered.

Flamethrowers, France, flamethrowers.

There might be some French who'd like to take back their country but they appear to be few in number. In order to do so, they'll will have to overthrow the present bankster-installed regime. The banksters have only doubled-down since the Bat-a-clan incident almost a year ago and not a single one of them has eaten a bullet, been blown up, or poisoned. All deserve this and far worse.

The police and the military all follow bankster's orders. Until the physical cost of doing this becomes significant, the promise of 30-pieces of pension serves as the carrot and loss of job the stick. The French aren't going to be allowed to vote their way out of this. I sometimes wonder if this massive loss of courage among the natives is directly related to their loss of faith. You'll note that Musloids do not lack faith - though it's really faith in Satan's power. They are not at all afraid to die while killing scores of their hapless enemies as in the Bat-a-clan. The French cower and hope to maybe cast a vote for Sarko or some other bankster shill.

Back to the wikileaks, the revelations are really no surprise to anyone with the eyes to see - as Godfrey noted. Looks like there is a very strong possibility that Scalia was murdered in light of Podesta's reference to "wet work" in an email reply on the night of Scalia's death. Spawn of Satan, they are.

This sure does put a lot of events in 2009 into clear focus.

For example, why (((Timothy Franz Geithner ))) as Secretary of the Treasury? Now we know for sure.

Why the special treatment of Citi? Duh, now we really know.

Why was the issue of high-frequency trading, which essentially front-runs the market, constantly played down with a "tut-tut, you plebes can't understand this, run along"? Double duh.

@9 dc: the problem is that via computers we have an unimaginable ocean of data, creating a vast sea of information, but there are precious few islands of solid knowledge that can be acted upon by an individual. There are not even a large number of basic facts which all sides can agree on. (Help me, InfoGalactic! You are our only hope!) But that will change as people see more of the lies exposed with their own eyes; other will continue to demand blindness, so they are not offended by what they see.

Strategic dialectic: If you have a friend or relative who truly cannot be convinced to vote Trump, but isn't enthusiastic about Hillary, then talk about how unacceptable it is to give approval to Hillary's words and actions; they should vote Johnson (Libertarian) or other 3rd party candidate (green, communist, whatever) to help boost that party's legitimacy, in order to give us better alternatives in the future.

Convince them that alternative parties need to be seen as viable, or the party elites will continue to pick horrible, corrupt, bought-and-paid-for donor shills. Trump only needs to win a plurality to take a state, not an outright majority. If Johnson can siphon off 3% of the Rs, and 10% of the Ds, it's likely to swing a state.

Actually, the masses are informed about historical patterns of political officials receiving counsel from those in business or high finance prior to their election or during their tenure in office. Either 1) they don't care or 2) they care but don't believe they can't do anything about it or 3) they realize that throughout human history this sort of thing occurs.

The Stalingrad metro station in Paris was a major drug dealing hub way back in 1997 when we stayed with a french family in the 19th arrondisment. Each cop at the station was accompanied by two paratroopers with machine guns. The Boulevard de Flandres was a big, but nondescript street, with the usual businesses up and down each side. However, it was clean and safe. Safe enough for us to let our fifteen year old son go out at night by himself.

I knew that Paris had an immigrant problem, but those pictures were over the top. I had no idea that a pretty nice place could have gone down the toilet this badly. The pictures and the chimp-out video ought to be mandatory viewing for every European and American.

I agree. My problem is less that she diagrees with much of this paradigm shift in thinking, but that its newness with it makes it the preeminent thing on my mind and out of my mouth. I think it beings her some anxiety as its really heavy. But as a partnership that's had good harmony on worldview, some of this stuff needs discussed with the spouse. But sometimes it can be too much to hamdle all at once. Its a hell of a downer.

The solution is obvious. Stop talking to her about it so much. Find someone to talk to online, or a male friend with similar views. Most women can't handle the kind of obsessiveness men are capable of.

@41 "My wife has gotten an eye opening and agrees with much of what I've been red pilled on, but I know my preoccupation is wearing on her."

Consider discussing with her that, as a man, your highest (mostly biological) goal is to "provide, protect and cherish" (in THAT order!) your wife and kids. When they are under threat (and oh man, right now?! Whew!), your first priority becomes their defense and protection. So, yes you ARE 'obsessed' -- because your body is responding to its highest setting!

Ask her to TELL you directly when she needs some 'cherishing' (some loving warmth and focused attention), and negotiate to give her what you can.

As a 'warrior,' you CANNOT stand on the ramparts (however metaphorically) 24/7, that's damaging and useless. You must take downtime and rest and recuperate. Let her be a part of your R&R. Not just sexually {wink} -- that's part of your need; hers includes emotional support. Esp. since she knows we're under threat, her (mostly biological) highest need for security and safety is flashing warnings to her body too.

Blogger Brian H October 16, 2016 2:52 PM

Just wondering if other guys have run into this with their wives. Tough to both convey where your head is at without alarming them too much - even if they buy in.

Worst thing other than the truth itself, is lack of discussion outlets when all of your friends, even the most right wing, are still in normie mode. Drives me insane. Interweb only goes so far as a relief valve. Can really make you feel isolated.

I don't share much with my wife or daughters, more with my son. If she brings it up, we can talk about it, if she doesn't we usually don't. Occasionally I will raise an issue to explain why it is important that we be prepared for something: infrastructure is deteriorating, so it's vital that we be able to stay comfortable through long power outages, as they will happen more often, and last longer in the future.
