GamerGhazi can't cope

The ride never ends. Nor does the winning:
I'm sure many of you can relate to this, but since the double whammy of Brexit and Trump, I'm feeling extremely lost and upset and having some trouble coping with the new reality. I've been a long time lurker here and since this has always seemed like a supportive community, I thought I'd reach out for some advice.

I live in the stereotypical liberal bubble in a left-liberal city. I don't have any friends or family or work colleagues who would have supported Trump, so I have struggled to understand how this has happened, or how ideas that have been our shared values since WWII have been shed in favour of what appears to me to be a resurgence of ethno-nationalistic fascism. That's not to say I haven't read widely on the subject, and at least intellectually now I can at least explain what has happened without believing that America and Britain have both gone through a massive swing towards racism, nativism, misogyny and hate, although I still believe that is part of the answer.

I'm terrified for for the state of the world. I'm afraid that the US will end up like Putin's Russia, with 85% approval ratings, a watertight internal propaganda system and spiralling human rights abuses. I'm afraid that with America abandoning its (admittedly flawed in practice) ideals of spreading democracy and human rights across the world, that the sum total of human suffering will increase drastically. Already Trump is suspected to drop all talk of human rights from negotiations with China, limit support of NATO allies, as well as South Korea and Japan, and I'm terrified of a return to pre-20th century 'might makes right' international relations where the powerful will exploit and abuse the weak.

After the election I went to one of my favourite thinkers, Jonathon Haidt. This recent video of him inspired me to try to reach out to Trump supporters via Twitter and try to genuinely understand and empathise with them, and perhaps in turn have them empathise with me. After a couple of days of that I've all but given up, having repeatedly bashed my head against the brick wall of Infowars, international Jewish Globalist conspiracy, and a well that is now permanently poisoned against anything from the liberal intellectual tradition.

Now I'm more lost than ever. I've actually become ill from worry and feel like I'm now just compulsively online, trying to understand and explain and maybe find a light at the end of the tunnel. My question to you guys is: what are you doing to cope? Is there a place that people like us can go for mutual support? What's the best way to stop this awful feeling of powerlessness and loss?
Wouldn't it be TERRIBLE and THE WORST THING EVER if 85 percent of the American people approved of their leader? These morons don't even listen to themselves, so why on Earth would they think we will?

This hapless individual has quite clearly learned nothing from "one of his favorite thinkers". He still thinks that if only he lectures the Alt-Right on a liberal intellectual tradition that we know better than he does, we'll come around to what can't rightly be called his way of thinking. Say, rather, his way of parroting left-liberal dogma.

We know the liberal intellectual tradition, both the genuine one and its subsequent substitution. We reject them both.

It would be truly wonderful if 85% of the populace approved of their leader _and_ he deserved that approval. It would not be as good, for most purposes (existential war being the exception), if the approval was manufactured through mere propaganda and lies on a cosmic scale...you know, what might have happened had the Hildebeest won.

I suspect Trump will not disappoint. I am especially enthralled by the prospect of a national right to carry.

It is precisely at this time that we must hammer such cretins with nuclear levels of dialectic and dialectic-laced rhetoric.

These creatures are intellectually akin to sea anemones and if you bombard their mushy neurology with hardcore facts, it will eventually sink in as their new behaviour.
Not that they will have understood anything or evolved at all, no, these beings are wholly incapable of reasoned thought, but they can be re-shaped into autonomic sound buoys.

Their peculiar neurology means they will morph and ape and repeat slogans in order to feel part of the group. So hit them hard and repeatedly with dialectic facts. Eventually their weak constitutions will have them repeating these facts.

The only other alternative is mass graves for the lot of them, so this is the humane thing to do. Crush them and any hope they may have.

Would be more appropriate to call it the liberal anti-intellectual tradition considering it requires you to accept Y to be correct in order for X to be correct, but if Y is wrong then X is still correct and you are still a racist.
It literally requires Occam's razor to be wrong every time (I can say literally too).

Anonymous Faceless November 16, 2016 9:17 AM

Maybe asking us to die, and, if not that, to deny us jobs and livelihoods was not the best opener for winning friends and influencing people. Maybe Barack Obama screaming, "Elections have consequences! I won!" and his supporters charging any disagreement as racism poisoned the well?

Nope, must have been Paul Joseph Watson.

Some of the mutually exclusive beliefs and self imposed hardships our snowflake friend shares are eye-watering -

- Supports imposition of "democracy" by force around the globe whilst fearing a 'might makes right' policy.

- Writer also states they haven't read widely on the subject yet cries out for explanations as to what is going on. The "new reality" quite clearly is just "reality" as it has been for at least a couple of decades and the writer has been (by their own admission) completely insulated from it in a Metroluvvie bubble.

- They remind me very much of the remainers I butted heads with over Brexit. They were sold on an EU that didn't exist in reality. Just as reading the Koran will turn most neutral rational readers against Islam, reading the treaties the UK (& all other member states) signed with the EU should turn anyone into a Eurosceptic.

- I've yet to encounter a dedicated remainer who has read the treaties. And when I tell them about some of the clauses (such as the French & British UN Security Council votes being subject to the direction of the EU "High Representative"), they refuse to believe it or even see for themselves in the treaties.

Similar applies to completely justified fears of the overtly inimical globalist policies such as Agenda 21 and handing over control of internet DNS to the UN. The former being directly responsible for purposeful rationing of energy and water supplies in the West and the latter opening the floodgates for worldwide censorship. It's in the public domain, from the horses mouth yet the Metroluvvies prefer to believe in some kind of alternate reality.

"having some trouble coping with the new reality"

Reality didn't change. That's one of its observable properties You can see this if you are capable of observing outside of your narcissistic echo chamber.

"seemed like a supportive community, I thought I'd reach out"

Bad idea. The cities really do need different laws than flyover countries, for reasons that should be clear to people who are darkly enlightened.

As far the right to bear arms in America, I feel as though Conservatives have won this for all time (or at least as far as my imagination can take me). The facts on the ground are the amount of guns and ammunition in private hands is astronomical. There are maybe 100 million gun owners with an average of 4 guns each and the NRA motto is, 'from my cold dead hands.' Guns, properly cared for, can last almost indefinitely.

Vox: I really appreciate your blog and have also enjoyed your books. I was red pilled earlier this year and my wife followed shortly thereafter, largely due to circumstances influenced by the elections.

That being said, I have a question for you. I am white. My wife is half white, half Asian. We are both American and she identifies as a white American. We both support and promote white identity. My children look white and identify as white Americans. I understand that the Alt-Right is a white nationalist movement. Where would a family such as my own fit into the Alt-Right? Blogger Ron November 16, 2016 9:27 AM

He unconsciously sees himself as being unable to compete with high achieving people. So to be put into a high achievement based environment would be a terror for him because unconsciously he may not be able to reproduce and even if he managed it, his weak progeny would be unable to find a high social standing, thus endangering his wiring to contribute his genetic information.

If I told him the country would have mass brownouts a return to 1920's medicine, and a lack of even toilet paper, he's be in seventh heaven because that is a non-achievement society and he doesn't have to compete as hard with his betters, since most of them will be fighting and dying while he will be skulking around sneaking sex from the women whose mates are otherwise occupied (fighting and dying).

Thus granting him a greater possible to reproductive access.

It always comes down to the unconscious motivations of our bodies. Either we are aware of them and find the strength to rule them, or they will rule us and cause disaster for us and everyone around us (and anger our Creator).

Blogger wreckage November 16, 2016 9:27 AM

However, to a certain extent, the question is a category error. The Alt-Right is both a political identity and an observable predictive model. You need not subscribe to the former to utilize the latter.

And if you're dumb enough to think that who you are has any significance for the latter, well, the Alt-Right certainly doesn't need you.

This is bad?

-a watertight internal propaganda system
We already have this. It's called the (((MSM))). The Clinton e-mail leaks prove this on record beyond a shadow of any doubt. No longer can it simply be dismissed as mere conspiracy theory to suggest that western media is state propaganda. Shit, even leftist heroes like Chomsky have been saying this for decades.

-spiralling human rights abuses
I thought, according to leftists, that we already have this? What the fuck is all that "smash the patriarchy" and "destroy capitalism" and "black lives matter" bullshit all about then? I guess the west has Schrodinger's oppression.

-deals of spreading democracy and human rights across the world
Since when the fuck do leftists advocate for the neocon Bush doctrine version of foreign policy?

-drop all talk of human rights from negotiations with China
Wouldn't it be cultural imperialism to impose our western values onto China? Isn't this why leftists whiteknight for Islam wherein they claim that female genital mutilation and honor killings are "just another culture you racist white devil!"

-limit support of NATO allies
NATO is a relic of the cold war and has no right to exist. Again, I thought the left was supposed to be opposed to imperialism?

-as well as South Korea and Japan
Koreans and Japanese want American military bases to fuck off their sovereign land forever. They want to have the ability to build up their own real standing armies which they have been forbidden to do post-WWII.

-I'm terrified of a return to pre-20th century 'might makes right' international relations where the powerful will exploit and abuse the weak.

Not anymore. Kevin Williamson drove the final nail in the coffin on that. I wish them the same they wish on us: To die; alone, friendless, and in the cold.

> ...and I reject the temptation to back up the garbage truck to the landfill and pull the lever on half of America. Many of those can be redeemed.

I'm sure some of them can. And I leave it to God to use the vessels most appropriate to that task. I'm not one of them. That's a failing, for which I ask forgiveness; but it's not within my power to change, and he doesn't seem to be of a mood to do so.

OpenID freeonus November 16, 2016 9:47 AM

#2 - This election was, in part, a propaganda war. Given the media trust ratings, some are starting to see it for what it is, but I'm afraid that many of our 'educated' have had free thought 'educated' out of them. You can't reach this sort of people through reason. A picture with headline, name calling - anything that pulls their emotional strings is what forms their foundational beliefs. For them, propaganda is the tool of choice.
You can't get 85% approval without propaganda because many more than 15% of the people don't understand reason. I would venture to guess that more than 15% of the people can't even determine whether their own circumstances have improved.

And there's the other part of your problem.

Even if this joker knew somebody who supported Trump, he would immediately frame them in a way that makes it impossible to understand them rationally.

It's even worse than he suspects, though. Trump has shown that not only is the mainstream media untrustworthy and dishonest, they're also completely unnecessary and ineffective. The media hasn't quite got a handle on this yet, but it's perhaps the biggest outcome of this election. There is no mainstream media. They aren't the soi disant gatekeepers of truth their J-school professors told them they were. Trump demonstrated how toothless and feeble they are in the modern Internet-connected world.

This is going to be an exciting four years.

"The Alt-White probably wouldn't have you, just as they won't have me. Which is fine."

Ya know, it's funny. I look German enough. Used to speak quite good German with an effectively perfect set of German accents. I'm one of a relatively few Americans who can blend in among Germans and not look like an American if I don't want to. I also like the hell out of Germans and Germany, enough to have taught myself the language when I was 12 and 13.

But once, while in the 101st, on Reforger 76, I went into a club in Nuremberg, not trying to hide my Americaness, and was asked to leave. In that moment, for a while, all affection for Germany and Germans was forgotten, and I wanted the city retroactively obliterated, nuked down to bedrock.

I rather feel that way, if I haven't already made it obvious enough, about the alt-white. Ultimately, we're just not compatible. I could never ally with them, not for any cause. And, right here, they've made it clear enough that we _must_ be enemies.

As for the doubts about national right to carry based on the inner cities -- I find the idea of a bunch of hooting, grunting google gang-bangers worrying about a concealed carry license to be hilarious. And agree with the poster above who said that the law-abiding in the cities (i.e. Whites) need special access to automatic weapons and the latitude to use them when necessary.

Should a guy burgling a house be a little bit scared that maybe the homeowners will be there, awake, and will call the cops getting him thrown in jail? My first years voting as a young "conservative" saw two cycles loss to the immoral Clinton after 3 cycles of electoral triumph in my formative years. I too struggled not to hate the Other until new levels of the love of Christ filled my soul. My teachers and culture also tried to teach me the bigotries and hatreds of class warfare, as taught by that father of war and mass murder, that evil progressive Marx.

So believe me, I condescend to empathize. I'm just experienced enough to know the answer is for you to abandon the evil you cling to in your naive simplicity - "tolerance, class warfare, and barbaric one world government under some corrupt hun" - for love, neighborliness, and the civilization of the varied tapestry of Christian nations.

So out of empathetic love for you, we won't let you rest as you are, we'll pressure you to give up evil and join good through every avenue we have - political, social, intellectual, technological.

I'm terrified for for the state of the world. I'm afraid that the US will end up like Putin's Russia, with 85% approval ratings, a watertight internal propaganda system and spiralling human rights abuses.

.... as opposed to a (((media))) in the west who lies 100% of the time, the "free" world where one gets arrested for ungoodthoughts, while entrenched elites import musloids (Rotherham) to enslave white English girls as young as 8 or 9, while the police, under orders from (((those who call the shots))) allow it to go on for years and arrest those who notice it's been going on. Delusional does not even describe an idiot like this. He's just spouting the usual SJW lies, which they of course do more naturally than they breathe air.

I used the UK-Okrug (still in the EUSSR we note) as my example of western "free-dumb" but even prosecutors in red-states like Idaho threatened those who complained about Somalian rape-fu-gees imported by Churchians going for little white kids as well. Note also the Judeo-Islamic alliance announced just yesterday by the ADL - an organizaton which was founded to subvert justice for a (((factory owner))) who raped a 13-year old and killed her in 1914 because despite all the bribes and antics, some outraged citizens gave the (((Satanic scum))) justice at the end of a rope.

Putin's Russia, with its flaws, still has more freedom for Russians than Theresa May's UK-Okrug has for the English, Francois Hollande's French Okrug has for the French, or Angela Merkel's Deutsche-Okrug has for Germans. Yes Putinland could use some loosening up but then again they do have have Soros, the Banana Empire and his assorted (((minions))) attempting to undermine things there as well.

I am white. My wife is half white, half Asian. We are both American and she identifies as a white American. We both support and promote white identity. My children look white and identify as white Americans. I understand that the Alt-Right is a white nationalist movement. Where would a family such as my own fit into the Alt-Right? I apologize ahead of time if this is something that you have discussed previously.

Vox explained it very nicely above. I'll put this way: The vast majority of the alt-white is content with the 14 words and will not bother you unless you start hassling them and doing things like setting up a Churchian program to import more Somalians into Idaho, more Aztecs as cheap labor, etc. There is a fringe of Hitler fan-boys (who never seem to grasp the concept that Hitler wrecked Germany and made Angela Merkel possible), who would likely deport you if they actually had their own country because of a one-drop rule or the like.

Their fear is not entirely without reason because of what we saw in the voting tallies - Trump was voted into office by whites. Consciously or not, he followed the 'Sailer Strategy' and won. At least 2/3 of non-whites voted for a Satanist pedophile who'd abolish the first and second amendments in a heartbeat. This is indicative of either massive stupidity - believing the wall-to-wall lies of the (((media))), or simply an innate desire to displace whites. The cucks and constitutional ghost-dancers who think negroes and Mexicans give a damn about concepts such as "rule of law" and "natural rights" are delusional. Look no further than Mexico or any African country to see the folly of such notions. IKAGO exceptions like Ben Carson are just that - exceptions to a rule (which is accurate 9 of 10 times when it comes to blacks).

I think they'll simply talking mandatory reciprocity at this point, Nate. After all, if Alabama has to recognize gay marriages from CA, why shouldn't CA hae to recognize Alabama's concealed carry? Now, how they handle states that don't even require a concealed carry license is going to be the interesting question. :)

Sadly, although it is a form of mental illness, it's not really a breakdown. It's both a propaganda campaign on a huge scale, and part of the "doubling down" process.

America and Britain have not undergone a massive swing towards racism, nativism, misogyny and hate. Racism, nativism, misogyny and hate are the natural condition of humans in a fallen world. We white folks were willing to make it a better world. We were willing to set aside our instincts and create a propositional society where race, gender and sexual orientation were seen as superfluous and everyone was judged on his/her/xer's individual actions.

The problem is NO ONE else (besides white people) were willing to take up that view. ALL non-whites were tribal and insisted on acting in their own tribe's interest, while at the same time they banned white people from acting solely in theirs. When you have a game where every party cheats except one, the party that doesn't cheat is going to have its ass handed to it in time. Whites are only just starting to realize that now.

Does that answer your questions?

Bear in mind that my goal would be to run the equation in reverse, to gain full constitutional carry throughout the United States. Not to tie Vermont to NY (and MA, which is just as important to SVers) in a way that backfires on VT, but in a way that forces NY/MA/et al to accept constitutional carry.

Persons with transsexualism, after sex reassignment, have considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behaviour, and psychiatric morbidity than the general population. Our findings suggest that sex reassignment, although alleviating gender dysphoria, may not suffice as treatment for transsexualism, and should inspire improved psychiatric and somatic care after sex reassignment for this patient group.
