Immigration was ALWAYS the key

I've been pointing this out to politicians for over a decade. And yet many of the highly-paid political experts are STILL denying it, even though the first time a neophyte politician played that card, it took him straight to the White House. Steve Sailer points out an RCP piece observing that Trump won on the issues:
Although the Republican establishment would rather not think about it, immigration was Trump’s central issue as he came out of nowhere to beat 16 challengers and win the Republican nomination. Those same establishment Republicans, like most Democrats, predicted that immigration would hurt Trump in the general election. It didn’t.

Believers in the “Blue Wall”—the mythical fortification that would allegedly protect Democratic candidates in the electoral vote—claimed that embracing open-borders immigration policies is the only way to win as demographics change (largely because of 40-plus years of open-borders immigration policies). This “Blue Wall” turned out to be about as formidable as the Maginot Line, and Trump breached it in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Iowa, and apparently Michigan.

Immigration is actually a big reason why. When exit polling asked voters what the biggest issue was in the election, national security was about a wash—as voters who emphasized “foreign policy” preferred Clinton, while those who emphasized “terrorism” favored Trump, and by similar margins. Likewise, the economy as a whole was about a wash. Among the 52 percent of voters who said the economy was the biggest issue, Clinton won by 10 points (52 to 42 percent), but when voters were asked who would better handle the economy, Trump won by 3 points (49 to 46 percent). Among the one-eighth of voters who said immigration was the most important issue, however, Trump won by a 2-to-1 margin (64 to 32 percent)—the equivalent of about 5 million votes. In the states where Trump breached the “Blue Wall,” his margins on immigration were even bigger.
Immigration and other identity issues will continue to be the key going forward. However distasteful it may be to them, Republicans need to continue to make their transformation into a White Party, or if it makes them feel better, the American Party.

What they don't understand is that the same small percentage of minorities that supported them before will continue to support them. These are the minorities who are smart enough to realize that a strong white majority in the USA is in their own interest, and in the interest of the world at large. But only a small percentage of any indentity group are capable of grasping enlightened self-interest, or self-interest once removed.

The stats are everything here regarding top issues. I suggest our POTUS Trump will deliver upon his goals and then leave it up the American people.

Republicans are the Stupid party, no doubt....6 months ago, a nationalist/libertarian says to me he can't vote for Republicans....me, Trump isn't a Republican...him, as long as he stays that way, I'm voting for him...

Except maybe for the Bush's, the Republican Party is as stupid as it wants to be. When they really want something they quit slogging around and get nimble in a hurry.

I would still say the left would have won if not for Project Veritas and TRUMPs willingness to call out fraud.

Trump has made it clear that he is going balls to the walls on this. I speculated he would take a different approach, but I'm certainly not going to second guess his successful strategy of standing convention on it head. I expect it will continue to be effective despite all the naysayers and however counterintuitive it might seem at first glance. Get on board or get run over.

Sailer has been pointing out for years that when Americans are asked what's most important, immigration always ranks high -- when it's among the choices. It's just that the media ignored them and politicians never talked about it except when pushing "reform" (aka amnesty).

After Romney lost, when mainstream conservatives were saying they needed to Hispander harder next time, I ran some numbers and found out that winning a battleground state like PA would have required him to get something like 70% of the Hispanic vote (assuming no white votes lost in the process), while only an additional 5% of white voters would have put him over the top. The Sailer Strategy was clearly the way to go, especially with Democrats turning against working-class whites. There just wasn't a candidate willing to openly court them and preach heresy on immigration and trade, who couldn't be muted by the establishment/media. Until about 18 months ago.

My "conversations" with people inform my view that Trump is still no more than a transition figure.

Things are going to have to become a lot more dire before the majority tribe coalesces adequately to yield the Charlemagne we so desperately need, and then one of his sons to be our Charles Martel.

The inflection point is upon us, however, and for that is my hope renewed.

@7 Exactly. Republican consultants and politicians live in a fact-free zone, since they are only in it for the money. As Keynes (and others) said, it is difficult to make a man understand something that his job depends on him not understanding.

Trump appears to be highly skilled in navigating waters most people believed were best negotiated by career politicians. This adds to my belief that he may be quite literally the only man who can fulfill this role at this moment in history.

Talk about confounding our adversaries. Hail Trump!

Which is why it is necessary for us Alt Righters to KEEP THE PRESSURE ON!We must keep reminding them that their jobs DEPEND on them understanding and acting for Trump! (Here's rhetoric: we don't need the facts to convince you, we need merely point out you'll lose your sinecure if you DON'T do as President Trump asks!)

2016 is the year Sailer's central thesis became too visible to ignore.

Those of a Democrat (leftist) mindset are openly importing a New People to disenfranchise their opponents, people they consider subhuman and in need of extinction. This is self-evident from the constant rage over the Electoral College vs "popular vote."

This truth needs to be Topic One in every political discussion, because there is no moral high ground on which leftists stand. "So, Miss Leftist, you think it's okay to import millions of ringers so your team can win in perpetuity?"

A "yes" answer should be adequate for a legal claim of Justifiable Homicide.

Blogger dc.sunsets November 19, 2016 12:15 PM

Now that Trump is elected, any GOP legislator who even hints at opposing his initiatives should be subjected to a barrage of constituent fury, reminding him or her that 2018 isn't far and a primary challenge will be forthcoming.

In the '60s, Kevin Phillips, who was an advisor to Richard Nixon, came out with a book titled _The Coming Republican Majority_. That was one of the few writings on American politics which proved prescient, for from 1968 to 1988, Republicans won the Presidency in 5 out of 6 elections, two of them in electoral landslides. And their sole loss was a narrow one. Republicans at the national level addressed the concerns of the white middle and working class, especially issues related to race, such as affirmative action, busing, welfare, crime. Also, the anti-Communism appealed to Americans of Eastern European descent living in the Northern states, and to pro-military whites in the South. In those days, there were more centrist and even conservative Democrats at the state level, than there are today.

Trump, and some Republicans have re-discovered the method of appealing to the white middle and working class.

It’s ironic that a small percentage of minorities see the danger in immigration, but cucked Reps are stuck on their churchian bromides. Given Pence’s attendance at Hamilton, one wonders if he’s really on board with immigration restriction. It may take another election cycle to enlighten him.

The following refers to the previous post, but I added it here to avoid double posting.

The message from the Hamilton cast should have been:
Wow! Just Wow! We never realized how stupid an audience can be. Here we had the Vice President-elect (a man known for his insensitivity) attending our White bashing POC performance. What an opportunity for media shills to regurgitate tropes about love’s potential to reach the heart of even the most calloused evangelical. The love syrup could have been so thick, it might have elevated Hamilton to mandatory study in every cucked high school in the US.

But no, our audience brought the tactics of the street protest into our theatre. They might as well have held up their “Rape Melania” signs. Now people will wonder if George Soros has been paying people to attend our performances.

For a year and a half, we fit squarely within the Narrative. Ours was a work of art that moved the souls of audiences. But now, it’s over. People attend our performances to support the left. We’re no more an expression of art than a DNC email exposed by WikLeaks.

Please, Mr. Vice President-elect, forget about those boarish booers who showed you such disrespect. You can still be a cuck by saying that the audience doesn’t reflect the underlying truth of Hamilton. You can still issue a statement supporting our message. Just say that it moved you to a deeper understanding of immigration.

Please, please. We promise friendship to every cuck great and small. You wouldn’t have attended Hamilton if it wasn’t in your heart. So open that heart to us, and we will support you if you keep immigration safe and (il)legal.

I was born and raised up to the age of 14 in South America, and had the opportunity to experience French culture in my early teenage years for a short time. At 15, I relocated to the USA, and I remember saying to myself upon living here for a very short time [few months], how much better and more welcoming America was [is].

I had no idea that what I was experiencing, and what I was liking and preferring more relative my experience in France, was actually the essence of what makes America a unique country to live and experience.

I liked that most people where Americans and not foreigners. I liked that though I was a foreigner, the neighbors encouraged me and my family to find out more about America rather than bending to accommodate me and my family in the pandering way one sees in the USA now-a-days due to the fear of being called a racist. I came to America and I assimilated into American society and culture and uniqueness.

I got to go to high school and then college, and in my learning about American history, and having had some background into my native South American country's history, I immediately was able to see the vast differences in the history of the two nations, and how one favored its development and solidified its standing in the world, while the other was [and still is] mired in third-world mentality and third-world lifestyle and third-word expectations, and as of the last several years, worse than third-worldliness.

I stand with all those who prefer Western Civilization and the philosophy that informs it and the [Reformed] Biblical roots that explains much of its essence. I am of darker complexion, black hair [clearly not Caucasian] and I prefer to live in a predominantly white America than not, especially when I go out and hear people speak Spanish as if they were still in Mejico or any other Latin American country.

To me that is a sign of imposition as opposed to assimilation. And I hate the signs that hang on so many windows of businesses/banks etc that read: "Se habla Espanol." If we are in America, let it be English!

Correct. I will continue to vote this way until I have a homeland of my own, or until Americans get sick of me and kick me out. Hopefully the former occurs before the latter.

I did not ever vote for Bush II. I didn't vote in 2014. The ONLY reason I voted is because Trump said he was going to deport all 11 million illegals.

That is why I voted for him. All Illegals need to be deported. The 1965 Immigration Act is an act of Treason and Genocide---genocide by ethnic dilution. Trump said he would amend that. That has to come.

We need to end the genocide of whites in this country by ethnic dilution. They are purposely moving foreigners into this country to dilute the WASP. No -more!

Ron Paul was "Nice". They hated "nice". Ok, they got whatever the median between nice and nasty is in Trump.
We/They really, really, really don't want to find out what is really nasty or beyond. We don't burn our cities, we burn their cities. We've prepped for months of famine so can cut "them" off.
But they have nothing to fear but starvation, violence, raping and pillaging, and the apocalypse. Oh, wait.

I have been hearing all my life that we need illegal immigrants to do the lowly jobs Americans won't do, and we need to outsource the smart jobs because there aren't enough Americans trained in STEM to do those jobs.

What I NEVER heard in school was, you MUST study hard because if you do when you graduate there will be a job waiting for you that will pay you a STARTING salary of (adjusted for inflation) $80,000 a year! And those jobs are EVERYWHERE and American companies NEED American workers to FILL the demand of the WORLD for our products!

I lived in Las Vegas for 20 years. At nearly every bus stop there was a billboard that said, "Community College of Southern Nevada: $40,000/year Jobs Start Here!"

I had never see such a billboard in ANY other American city and still have never. I felt inspired every time I saw it though I was way past the target age group. Instead I pointed it out to my children.

There was a graduating class from its Culinary School that had to have half of their final semester as "work experience" because a new casino had opened and Human Resources arranged to come to the school and hire the ENTIRE graduating class in order to be ready for their opening (I think it was The Bellagio Hotel).

A Gaming class for dealers had the same experience. Vegas is unique in its employment demands.

Can you imagine if Apple or Intel or Microsoft had to do that to a graduating class of computer programmers or engineers in say, Wisconsin or Chicago or Stockton or Pittsburgh?

Instead, high school students are encouraged to go to college and major in political science, fine arts, feminist studies, or, heaven help us, Theater!

When I was in India, all the Christian students I met were extremely motivated to do well in University.

Why?

Because all they had to do was look all around them and see the effects of NOT doing well in school! Education was their way to stay way out of poverty!

Vox said, "Republicans need to continue to make their transformation into a White Party, or if it makes them feel better, the American Party."

Amazed you are in doubt as to the correct course there. "The White Party" is so far outside the Overton Window it is currently pointless to discuss it. Forget what outta be, that is what IS. Trump got a third of the Hispanic vote for example, if he runs in 2020 as an explicitly White candidate he will almost certainly lose more of those than he would gain from whites. Unless he moved the Window a -lot- in the next four years it is probable he would lose more white votes that wouldn't be willing to be seen supporting that sort of thing than he would gain in activated whites who aren't currently voting for him.

Calling ourselves "The American Party" gets almost the same thing without instantly driving away everyone who isn't white, is worried about not being considered "white enough", has close ties to someone not white, etc. And it is better rhetoric in that to oppose it will require the triggering of all the anti-american and anti-patriotic impulses of the left which repulse normal people in ways their virtue signaling against 'racism' do not always do.

And if can successfully camp the phrase "American Party" it others the crap out of the Left. Their only real option is to open a contest on what it means to be "American" and claim we really aren't. Show of hands here, are you hungering for that argument? Think we might go into that fight with a wee advantage?

Anonymous SciVo de Plorable November 21, 2016 2:19 AM
