Right now the local news is reporting that Trump is over Clinton by 30 in Indiana. They have it Trump 63, Clinton 33. Remember that Indiana (much to my utter shame) went Obama in 2008 so seeing Trump by 30 with the potential to widen that gap is interesting. I knew people here were pissed, but I think the underlying anger today is palpable. At work and at the gym everyone was talking about how they voted Trump and everyone was voting Trump. Lots of Trump t-shirts at the gym. And I'm talking Indianapolis here. Not places like Terre Haute, Columbus, Anderson or Evansville.

She might take Arlington and Alexandria, but I think the rest of NoVA will be so split that NoVA won't carry the state for her like it did for Obama.

Yah got BBC pushing that "South Carolina is in the air - he should have won it already!" line. Also got a cuckservative black Republican who is pushing the "GOP needs to chase the mythical 'natural conservative' Black and Hispanic vote" and a Dem shill who actually pushed the 'we dunno if it's Russian hackers' line on the voting machine problems in NC etc. God how I miss the W days (as irredeemable as he is) of the BBC inviting Anne Coulter on their post-election analysis where she would inevitably tear apart the smug, inherited position, BBC aristocracy like Dimpleby - I was young and ignorant enough to react with revulsion at the time watching her unashamedly tear into the BBC establishment and other elites during the 2004 coverage while feeling down over Kerry's loss.

They're now pushing various down ticket cucks as 'more moderate Republicans'. I have never EVER heard a Democrat described as a 'moderate' or 'more moderate' Democrat - because obviously progressiveism/liberalism is the norm and the most extreme form is inherently 'moderate' while anything else is far-right extremist.

Lol now trying to downplay the delay in any anouncement from PA and spin it as expected and positive for Clinton.

Here in CA, lots of my Republican friends - albeit, all are anti-trump, save me - are going to the polls only to be told that they had to fill out "provisional ballots," because they were told to vote by mail. None of those people signed up for main-in ballots.

I, myself, had TOLD them during the primary that I didn't want a mail-in ballot and when I registered for my driver's license, I told them I didn't want a mail-in ballot. I still got a bloody mail-in ballot.

Now, it's anecdotal, but it seems like the state is bound determined to make SURE that Republicans don't vote in CA.

DRUDGE is linking to the NBC polls. Click on the link and see the map. In every state there should be a significant Trump surge per the remaining counties coming in which are clearly Trump territory. But the big question is will it be enough?

The smart thing in Florida would be to delay releasing returns so that the Broward folk don't know by how much they have to cheat. Or put out fraudulently low returns followed by a "correction."

Blogger tz November 08, 2016 8:25 PM

Unless it is already known deep red or blue, until at least 30% is in, the numbers don't matter. And if it is close (low single digits), you need 50% or more. Blue (or Red) areas can come in early and tilt the results.

Anonymous Mathias November 08, 2016 8:31 PM

Actually, its more likely in "deep" color states were results are tilted early, if your faction only accounts for 1/3 of the voters, and those voters are concentrated in geographic area, its much more likely that your votes will be counted sooner than the remainder. The reason for this is that given a known pool of votes, when you remove one (count) from the pool, the odds on drawing the remaining votes changes in the same way the odd of a draw on a deck of cards with a cluster of targets closely spaced does. Note that I am aware of the fact that simultaneous counters/draws complicates things if we do not make the assumption only one vote/draw made be made at a time.
