Feature, not bug

Dr. Helen observes that female Democrats are the most insular when it comes to politics:
What I find interesting here is that Republican women are the least likely to unfriend someone at 8% meaning that they are more tolerant of other points of view. But then, a Republican woman is generally someone more clearly likely to buck the trend and herd mentality as the majority of women are Democrats. Maybe right-leaning women are more autonomous and don't need a crowd of people supporting and propping them up constantly.

I have noticed that in general, female Democrats have a harder time when someone disagrees with them and some can get very angry and hurl personal insults or dismiss the dissenter from their group. They seem very much like the group in Mean Girls who treat others with disdain in order to prop themselves up.
I find it easier to simply refuse to be friends with female Democrats in the first place. I don't tolerate vapid stupidity very well. And if I want lectures, I'll return to college.

I tried to have a political conversation with a female Democrat a couple months ago. She was trying to be nice, which for her meant repeatedly reassuring me that she's not saying I'm a bad person.

Anonymous Dyskord December 20, 2016 1:23 PM

Makes absolute sense. Conservatives were always seen as rugged individualists or traditionalists. In other words male orientated.
Liberalism was more group orientated. Urban folks formed a consensus, had groups to oversee or dictate to them. Were more mental than physical. Which for women who were more emotional than practical it was an easier fit.
The truest reason Liberalism has degenerated into the party of feelz and mental instability is because they've become a Female dominant group. They think like women, react like women and reason like women.
Consider the election debacle with liberals blaming the FBI, Russia, Deplorables and Rasistssss etc imagine it was the behavior of a single female. Suddenly its not so strange or unsettling.

She's 100% right. Democrat women are astonishingly fragile flowers.
I had a female cousin and female friend who chatted with me on a daily basis completely cut contact immediately after the election.
A few months ago I went on a date with a Leftist girl who closed her arms so tight she was basically hugging herself when she found out I wasn't a rabid liberal.

They're truly insane.

Settle for the first good looking Republican you find. Seriously, they are not easy to locate especially after they attend the liberal indoctrination camps.

Or go foriegn. If you are even remotely attracted to Asian women go that route. Find one that was raised outside the US though. I met one once that physically took off her husbands shoes when he walked in the door from work. I literally blurted out, "do you have a sister?"

Yes, Democrats are the collectivist/group-think/power-in-numbers crowd. That's why they are freaking out over this election. After the 2012 Obama victory, they erroneously assumed they were comfortably the overwhelming majority. Now, they're realizing they're not and is scares the living shit out of them.

That's typical. It made me laugh. Chanting "shame" is what passes for reason with these people. Social pressure is the only thing they understand.

Sex differences in emotional perception: Meta analysis of divergent activation

"Results across 56 emotion-eliciting studies (n = 1907) reveal distinct activation in the medial prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex, frontal pole, and mediodorsal nucleus of the thalamus in men relative to women. Women show distinct activation in bilateral amygdala, hippocampus, and regions of the dorsal midbrain including the periaqueductal gray/superior colliculus and locus coeruleus."

In other words: In men emotion activates frontal lobe structures in involved in planning. Women get amygdala-triggered.

Conclusion: Just keep the pressure up, they'll get dumber and dumber and keep making mistakes. Fuck 'em. Shrieking doesn't work anymore.

@5 Cinco. One recommendation I give is find a woman with a 'hard science' degree. My first wife had a lib arts degree. Marriage lasted 3 years. My soul mate, going on 26 years now, has a Chemistry degree (mine is Computer Science) and we couldn't be happier. I really think the logic aspect is very critical for a successful marriage.

This reality played out on a recent Transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2. Our dinner table of six included a leftie American woman and a lady from Texas. The leftie let it be known she regarded Trump as the epitome of evil . We listened to her politely; the Texas lady and I gave a spirited but civil defense of the God-Emperor Ascendant, esp. his embrace of the 2nd Amendment.

The leftie wasn't at the table the next night or ever again. I saw her a few times on the ship and said hello and was totally ignored. Okay by me. She added nothing to the dinner conversation. They rarely do, do they?

If your partner is capable of following a train of logic then it is easier to work out arguments/differences. If they are ruled by emotion it is hard to get them worked out of the screeching and crying phase no matter how much you argue with them.

All that being said, a hard science degree is not always indicative of them being logical anymore. I have a friend married to a chemical engineer and she frequently devolves to tantrums when things don't go her way.

It's fun to subtly infer that your interlocutor *is* a bad person during the conversation. Acts like a tiny time capsule for many Leftists. They start getting less willing to discuss and become angrier during the talk until they blow up at you and flee. Helps if you keep very calm throughout.

Disagree. You present it as if these were mutually exclusive alternatives. They're not. Also, your presentation smells of Nawalt.

In fact, there's highly intelligent women (not many) who are also highly emotional (I'd argue, that's actually all of them).

The trouble is, their decision-making facility isn't ruled by their rational part, but by their emotions. So, they understand that they need rational male leadership, which they can, in logical discourse, supplement with their high intelligence (but not supplant).

And whenever they're in emotional screeching state, you cannot reason... You need the right rhetoric to maneuver them out of that state emotionally first.

She was easily the most obnoxious person I've dealt with in the last couple of years.

When I called her out on her dumbass attempt at claiming I had "white, male privilege", she ended up walking away saying "I'm not walking away, I'm just going over here."

To be happy a heterosexual woman needs to find her alpha. He doesn't have to be an alpha among men, but between the two of them, she has to want to be under his wing. The Democrats, being the party of single women, is made mostly of women who haven't found that. As a result their emotions are unmodulated by alpha male influence. The have no moderating influence in their lives and being devoid of this natural partnership are prone to gross emotional excess.

Republican woman, who typically do have their emotional responses modulated by a man's leadership, remain open to rational understanding. They can see other points of view snd accept or reject them on the merits, the same as their male partner does, which doesn't mean she will always agree with him, but she will hear him and their differences will not be because she is unhinged. She just has her own mind, as everyone should.

Anonymous Eric the Red December 21, 2016 2:37 AM

I've also noticed that feminists, at least the ones who get media attention, tend to be white. Their behavior and appearance is calculated to be repugnant to the average white male. This is no accident: it creates a feeling of avoidance of ALL white women, and/or a reversion to considering non-white women for potential mates, thereby aiding the leftist goal of reducing whites numerically.

Blogger The Observer December 21, 2016 3:46 AM

@51: It's a religion leftists believe in, a twisted bastardisation of Christianity - of whig history being one long march towards Progress and Egalitarian Utopia, as opposed to Christ's return and Heaven.

Progress is inevitable, whig history says, and any evidence to the contrary is the work of wreckers and demons. From this perspective, it's easy to understand the reaction of leftists to Trump's presidency - the reaction of zealots trying to rationalise away the idea that their doctrine might not be inevitable and infallible.

On the other hand some of my favorite classes were on Old English/Viking/Icelandic literature. When I _had_ to take a class on gender/race/sex I did a report on "Myth of Male Power." One of my projects for Romantic Literature involved Old Testament covanental symbolism in Wordsworth.

Point being, the signs were amply present to my husband-to-be that I appreciated Western, patriarchal values, would push back against propaganda teachers, and was willing and able to apply Biblical truth to situations outside the church walls.
