Predictable result of people irresponsibly spreading insane falsehoods on social media. What could have happened is terrifying

Lee Stranahan‏@stranahan
Any sane person is with @jaketapper on this. I honestly hope people get sued or prosecuted over #pizzagate hoax BS story.

Fox News: DC pizza shop harassed, threatened online after being victim of fake news stories
A D.C. pizza restaurant has become a target of harassment and negative reviews on social media after it became a victim of fake news stories that went viral just before the presidential election.

Using the hashtag #PizzaGate, many on social media slammed Comet Ping Pong after floating conspiracy theories claimed the pizza shop along with Hillary Clinton and her campaign were involved in child trafficking and satanic rituals.

But all of the claims against the popular Northwest D.C. pizzeria are false and unfounded. The D.C. Police Department said they are not investigating Comet Ping Pong and are instead keeping an eye on those who are threatening the restaurant and employees.
Remember these people when the truth finally comes out and they start talking about how terrible it is and how no one could possibly have known. They close their eyes, declare it's night, and insist that anyone would have to be insane and lying to say otherwise.

Given that the police are not investigating, and have not investigated Comet, Podesta, or any of the freaks in that circle, how can anyone possibly state that ALL of the claims are "false and unfounded". Especially when they don't actually mention any of the specific claims that have been made or discuss any of the evidence that has been assembled.

Now, why oh why would these journalists resist even looking into a story as potentially juicy as #Pizzagate? Maybe because it strikes too close to home? I don't see any statement about the age of the photography subjects there.

Savile was given the keys to Broadmoor Hospital. Scratch that, he was given a residence there. And he apparently abused invalids - old and young - for years on end. And that wasn't the only venue for him, as his charity work took him all over. Was on the BBC's payroll during most of that. Buddying up with Gary Glitter on tv, shit eating grins with teenage girls on their laps. And he was knighted. "Oh no, I hate children. Can't stand them." Golden coffin while being paraded through Leeds.

I was reading the leak threads pretty closely for a while. I remember thinking, early on, "Ha ha, pedo-pizza. What will these crazy people come up with next?"

Well, what they came up with next was more connections and more evidence. As it started to pile up, I stopped laughing. And it is still piling up, more and more almost every day.

I think, I pray, that it is just confirmation bias, like Scott Adams says. But if my job title rhymed with "investigative journalist", I'd have a wall-o-suspects in my house with photos and clippings and bits of yarn tracing the links.

Jake Tapper and Lee Stranahan are fools, and should be unleashed upon.

Seriously, the big thing here is, police have investigated things for less evidence. A court-ordered search warrant is pretty easy to issue.

To me, that's the big thing hanging over this - why no investigation?

Also, some dude - maybe crazy, maybe false flag - does something bad. So? The MSM whipped up dindus into a frenzy over legitimately false news in how many cities now? CNN and the rest have real blood on their hands.

We shouldn't let these evil morons off the hook.

Anonymous LurkingPuppy December 05, 2016 2:54 AM

From the local Fox story:
Another bizarre and untrue claim is that the star and moon on the restaurant's sign are satanic symbols. But the actual history regarding the signage goes back decades. It used to belong to The Comet, a liquor store and deli that was in business in Adams Morgan for more than 80 years.
(a) The star-and-moon is used by Satanists, therefore any claim that they are satanic symbols is not untrue. (b) That's not the main point people were making about the sign; people were pointing to some other aspect of it which pedos use to advertise themselves. (c) Being previously used by ‘for more than 80 years’ by ‘a liquor store and (((deli)))’ (parens added) doesn't make the sign better.

SciVo de Plorable wrote:If only words were magic... but I've been reliably informed that they aren't.
Words are magic; that's why (((they))) have worked so hard to redefine so many of them. But a picture is a thousand times as magic, and usually harder to redefine.

"fake news stories that went viral just before the presidential election"

Interesting... I don't recall any news stories about this until the New York Times ran an article *claiming* the story was fake.

This was not the product of "news", but of individual citizens investigating and collaborating online, and it looks like they did a damn site more investigating than any journalists since Woodward & Bernstein.

https://luciussomesuch.wordpress.com/2016/11/08/pizza-pizza-scenes-from-the-podesta-dc-pedophile-ring-of-hell/

Selling infants? har har Child-sized coffins. And spirit cooking?

Taping children's arms down isn't nice. Least of all in a restaurant with an unidentified adult male standing behind her in a curiously composed shot that suggests some horror about to unfold.

"Shut up and f**k." Is that standard Chuk-e-cheez lingo? What kind of patrons make for this place being so "popular" anyhow?

And, of course, the investigation has turned up feds trading/watching pr0n of all kinds - on the clock, on .gov computers.

Disappointed in Lee Stranahan. He writes for Breitbart, but is clearly a scumbag.

I don't think it's because of his own past either, as Vox suggests; some very mild BDSM-themed photography of adult women (I looked it up) is very different than the stomach-churning paintings and porn of the Comet Ping Pong hellhole.

Chances are that Lee Stranahan is angling for a possible job elsewhere, and thinks Jake Tapper and company will put in a good word for him.

I have no informed opinion on the darker aspects, but it seems clear from the Wikileaks release that Podesta and his gang were doing coded communications of some sort. Maybe it was moving drugs? Maybe it was pedophilia. We shall see.

Furthermore, the whole 'spirit cooking' thing is freakish and deeply unsettling as something indulged by people close to the highest offices. It seems the general theme of the leftist elites today is that their ultimate thrill is transgression of some sort (sexual, social, moral). Entirely unsuitable for public or private office. Quite possibly only suited for the lamp post.

Blogger Alvin von Diaspar December 05, 2016 5:06 AM

I am sincerely despondent about all of this. The strongest bonds are those achieved through the commission of a horrible crime. Gangs in El Salvador, for example, have their new members murder / rape someone before they can be accepted into the group. It's a sort of baptism by fire. It ensures that new members will not randomly betray the organization. They know what's going to happen if they do and what sort of material will be leaked. The elites deliberately select deeply compromised individuals so they will never try to bite their hand.

Pedophile rings are so deeply infiltrated into all the institutions of government that the only way (I'm speaking hypothetically, dear CIA/FBI/NSA) to end them would be to organize a coup and hang them all, one by one, in the public square. Anything else will fail. If Trumps dared bring this up, he would have to fight the whole congress, Reps and Dems altogether. No way this is ever leaking, it'll forever remain in the realm of "conspiracy theories". The media, which are controlled by the same that hold power, are actively (and grotesquely) covering this up.

Anonymous Bz December 05, 2016 5:10 AM

It should also be noted that there are some signs that political office today is managed similarly to how you join a criminal gang: you have to commit a heinous crime so that you have no incentive to betray your allies.

There are so many pliant weirdos and freaks in the political ranks that one cannot think it's because the voters love freaks in office, but one instead has to suspect the gang principle. Periodically they get exposed for their deeds, for whatever reason.

He doesn't get the fact that "news" left that realm and became rhetoric/propaganda decades ago, and to retain his stance on things is to pull his punches.

Oh, they know the community all too well.

@1. Isn't it interesting how Saville (granted I'm not British) got away with all his crap and when it came out people were "shocked!" No truth to allegation? Like the Rotherham cover up? Like (here in America) Sandusky? Remember that older article Vox posted on the police child crimes unit guy being a pedo? Anyone who enjoys being around children other than their own is always a bit suspect in my book.

"Also, some dude - maybe crazy, maybe false flag - does something bad. So? The MSM whipped up dindus into a frenzy over legitimately false news in how many cities now? CNN and the rest have real blood on their hands. "

@7. Remember that, three or four year old, that died en route to a hospital because of those jackasses blocking the highway? Every one of 'em should've been arrested for blocking traffic and unlawful assembly. Time of arrest should've been noted. Time of death of that kid should've been noted. Those that were arrested at the time of death of the kid (and those that disrupted traffic flow for however long it would've taken for the ambulance to of gone to the hospital) should've been charged with involuntary manslaughter Going forward, all police departments should adopt a similar policy.

"Being previously used by ‘for more than 80 years’ by ‘a liquor store and (((deli)))’ (parens added) doesn't make the sign better."

@8 It's like the devil horns used in rock. Just because it is used for a different purpose does not mean it has a benign origin.

"Well, one's gone down: Senator Lamar Alexander’s (R TN) Chief of Staff, Ryan Loskarn, was arrested for trading child porn."

@12 When I was a sophomore in college back in 2006, they busted an elementary ed major for possession of the same thing. I'm thankful our college police did their due diligence and nabbed him before he could do any more harm.

@15. What about that international bust that just happened? They took down people in Canada, the US, and western Europe. The investigation IIRC for correctly lasted several years.

"They'll go straight from saying 'you're crazy no pedophilia here' to 'you hateful bigot what's wrong with pedophilia?"

@24 back in 2011 there was an article about how there's a push to normalize it in the UK. Here at home we have NAMBLA. Kill it all with fire.

"Pedophile rings are so deeply infiltrated into all the institutions of government that the only way (I'm speaking hypothetically, dear CIA/FBI/NSA) to end them would be to organize a coup and hang them all, one by one, in the public square. @26.Remember how in the UK they said it reached potentially to the highest levels of governments, including the PM's office? Here's an idea for any FBI or NSA lurking here. I say that having classmates that work for both organizations (well, the latter I'm uncertain of but am almost positive at least one classmate does).

Use your imagination to figure out how these guys might be covering their tracks. Think if you were able to do anything to achieve your objective, unencumbered by laws. You need inspiration? I'm sure between your two organizations and CIA, in your three collective classified archives, you can come up with some ideas.

Satan owns all the world's political systems, for certain above a threshold in scale. Evil exists---and will be exhibited one way or another.

One doesn’t fight evil by seeking to reform the institutions that inevitably exhibit it, that is the mistake Progressivist Cultists made all along.

We control but a small circle of our existence; all we can do is do the right inside that circle (and if the opportunity to nudge some demon over a cliff presents itself, well....)

Here with stocks at all time nominal highs we're treated to pizzagate smoke. I cannot even imagine the firestorm awaiting us when the public's appetite for scandals hits an historic peak in a few years. Heads will surely roll, quite literally.

I'm sure the suggestion that he's angling for a better gig does ring somewhat true; problem is that he's now sounded the proverbial horn that he should be treated as suspect by those of us that want to see this shit bathed is as much sunlight as possible.

Guess that guy calling him out on Twatter was correct after all. Hmm.

Blogger Cail Corishev December 05, 2016 9:42 AM

The only outright liars so far in this case are those (like Wikipedia) who claim to know the whole thing is false. Aside from the difficulty of proving a negative, there's no way anyone can have chased down all the emerging leads and proven them to be false. They're just lying (and keeping their fingers crossed).

It's likely that some of the seeming connections will be innocent. I'm sure not every person who ever thought a spiral would look good in a logo was trying to attract pedophiles. That doesn't mean there's nothing there; it will just take time to sort out the innocent connections from the meaningful ones.

We have police detectives and subpoena power and sealed court documents in the first place so that things can be investigated as discreetly as possible, only charging people when the evidence clearly points to someone's guilt. That's the ideal, anyway. A crowd-sourced, citizen investigation doesn't have that ability; it has no choice but to put the facts out in the open as they're discovered, and let anyone interested make up his own mind. We didn't want it that way, but that's what we're left with.

Also, even if no specific crimes can ever be proven, we already know enough about the kind of art and hobbies these people enjoy -- via documentation from their own emails and magazine articles -- that no decent people should want anything to do with them. If you found out someone in your neighborhood had Tony Podesta's "art," you wouldn't let your kids walk past his house, let alone vote for his friends. They've already been shown to be sick fucks, no matter what else is ever proven, which is why their media friends want to call the whole thing fake.

When this started breaking, I said we already know the pattern these things usually follow:

1. Someone gets busted for child porn/trafficking, usually because a kid escapes or someone with evidence threatens to take it to the press.
2. The cops bust a few of the operators and grab their books.
3. The cops leak or announce that hundreds, even thousands of people are implicated in the books, even people at high levels of government, but it will take time to sort through all the names and pursue the leads.
4. A few years later, people wonder, "Hey, what ever happened with that [whoever] case?"

That's how I expected this to go, back when it looked like the NYPD and FBI might take it on: they would bust a business or two, maybe take down a guy like Alefantis, and there would be much buzzing about who else is implicated. Then it would fade away.

But in this case, because the cops didn't bust it and grab everything, that pattern is broken. That means no one is being charged or punished by the system, but it also means they can't squelch the whole thing by assuring everyone a full investigation is underway.
