Do not disobey the God-Emperor

Did I not tell you to take the under? Trump didn't even wait 12 hours to fire his insubordinate Acting Attorney General. And his Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Daniel Ragsdale two hours later. So, who wants to strike a pose next? Do you feel lucky, punks?
Our Constitution vests all executive power — not some of it, all of it — in the president of the United States. Executive-branch officials do not have their own power. They are delegated by the president to execute his power. If they object to the president’s policies, their choice is clear: salute and enforce the president’s directives, or honorably resign. There is no third way. No one knows this better than high-ranking officials of the Department of Justice.

That is why President Trump was right to fire Acting Attorney General Sally Yates. Over the weekend, President Trump issued an executive order temporarily restricting the admission into the United States of aliens from various Muslim-majority countries, as well as aliens from Syria and elsewhere who are claiming refugee status. Naturally, this has triggered protests by Democrats and the Left. They erroneously claim that Trump’s executive order violates the Constitution, statutory law, American tradition, and human decency.

For inexplicable reasons, the new president left Yates in place to run the Justice Department in anticipation of the confirmation of Senator Jeff Sessions. A faithful Obama-appointed progressive, Yates obviously knew which way the political wind was blowing in her tribe. Like most Democrats, Yates objects to the president’s executive order. Fair enough. But she is not a political operative, she was a Justice Department official — the highest such official. If her opposition to the president’s policy was as deeply held as she says, her choice was clear: enforce the president’s policy or quit.

Instead, she chose insubordination: Knowing she would be out the moment Senator Sessions is confirmed, she announced on Monday night that the Justice Department would not enforce the president’s order. She did not issue this statement on the grounds that the order is illegal. She declined to take a definitive position on that question. She rested her decision, rather, on her disagreement with the justice of the order. Now, she’ll be a left-wing hero, influential beyond her heretofore status as a nameless bureaucrat.

To make an analogy, there are many federal judges who oppose abortion. They apply Roe v. Wade even though they disagree with it intensely, because their duty is to obey superior courts. As every official in the Justice Department knows, if one disagrees with the law one is called upon to apply, or the policy one is bound to enforce, one is free to resign. Staying on while undermining government policy is not an act of courage. It is an act of sabotage.
It's so typical of the Never-Trump cucks at National Review to try to portray the God-Emperor's decisive action as some sort of failure when the truth is that the process served his narrative and demonstrated, to the entire nation, how faithless and corrupt his internal enemies are.

This is a good example of why the cucks and cons and mods are all so hapless. They are driven by their absolute fear of Left's Narrative. Who gives a damn if Sally Yates is "a left-wing hero"? They even admit that she showed herself to be a faithless and unprofessional weasel. It will be easy to destroy her politically if she tries to use her grandstanding as a springboard to electoral office, but regardless, it is irrelevant to the Right whom the Left chooses as their champions. If not her, it will only be someone else, even if they have to manufacture one ex nihilo.

And, more importantly, her action justifies the God-Emperor launching an internal inquisition to root out any other Yates-types still embedded in the bureaucracy. What she has handed him, in fact, is his best excuse to go after the Deep State since getting elected. And, better yet, she has also shown the entire world what happens when you cross the God-Emperor. Which is important, because the God-Emperor is at war with the America-haters in the bureaucracy.
While President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration has left families wondering when they will see their loved ones again, drawing condemnation from leaders around the globe, the administration’s actions have also impacted another group: career U.S. officials working on asylum and refugee cases as well as foreign policy.

“There are people literally crying in the office here,” said a senior U.S. immigration official who spoke to The Intercept on condition of anonymity.

Interviews and internal communications obtained by The Intercept reveal how American personnel tasked with aiding the planet’s most vulnerable populations and representing the country in the international arena are learning bit by bit, through emails and confounding directives, how the jobs they signed up for are being steadily eroded.

The immigration official said that staffers at one Department of Homeland Security office were devastated when they arrived at work Monday morning to find an email, circulated among DHS leadership over the weekend, informing department personnel that they would no longer be permitted to adjudicate any immigration claims from the seven countries targeted by Trump’s travel ban, including petitions for asylum, permanent residency, or naturalization....

It was a move many within the government had feared, the official said — a so-called “security hold” that would essentially paralyze the asylum and immigration process for those fleeing some of the world’s most volatile places. “Permission to work, adjust status to a citizen or a permanent resident, any immigration form they have will stay in limbo,” the official explained. “We know what is coming. These cases will all likely be denied after significant waits.”
If the oppomedia is upset now, just wait until the more serious immigration bans are put in place and the repatriations begin. Don't hate, repatriate.

In other news, the oppomedia is learning that they can only push their anti-Trump agenda so far:
Bart Hubbuch, formerly of the New York Post, tweeted that he was fired for tweeting “my personal belief that Donald Trump becoming President of the United States is a national tragedy.” In since-deleted tweets, Hubbuch compared the inauguration of Trump to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. The Post confirmed to WEEI that the publication no longer has a “business relationship” with Hubbuch.

UPDATE: In light of the Monday Night Massacre that has triggered all of the Baby Boomers who were there at Woodstock when Nixon fired Archibald Cox, and has caused all the self-important bureaucrats who thought they would play "Yes, President" with the God-Emperor to wet themselves, I'm going to hazard a guess that the rumored "dissent memo" will never be signed and released.
In recent days, drafts of a dissent memo have been circulating among diplomats and associates abroad expressing concern that the new restrictions — which Trump said would help “keep America safe” — are un-American and will actually paralyze efforts to stop terrorist attacks in the U.S.
Please, please, PLEASE sign it and release it, brave diplomats and associates abroad. Doing so will save the God-Emperor's inquisitors so much time and effort! The days of making policy decisions on the basis of threats from below are over.

This. Yates has given President Trump a free hand to swing the axe at State and CIA, both of which need to be purged and then purged again. Her stunt, and Trump's masterful handling of it, have consigned numerous political hacks in the Deep State to the ash heap of history.

Trump's strategy to overwhelm the oppositions ability to process and respond in a consistent and coherent way is a beautiful thing to watch. He will exhaust them. They are not going to outwork this administration. I expect him to provide them with three more things to cry about before the day is over.

I feel a low level of embarrassment that I didn't appreciate this upfront. The honorable thing for Sally Yates to do would have been to resign in protest, not to stay on even as she announces her unwillingness to do her job. Typical hard left attitude, no sense of personal responsibility.

I hope this ZeroHedge article turns out to be fake news: Trump Administration Grants Waiver Allowing 872 Refugees Into The U.S.

Of course they don't spell out where the refugees come from, though to me it doesn't matter:
The 872 refugees to be admitted this week, under the waivers, were screened using Obama administration procedures, which typically take two years and include several interviews and a background check.

Now's not the time to grant ANY mercy, no matter how small the act might be perceived.

Trump's administration is now revealing the breadth and depth of Leftist Delusion & Convergence.

Every TeeVee news story I've seen parades one "vulnerable refugee" after another in a naked attempt to manipulate sympathy into political belief.

I watched my US Rep (an R) try to back Trump ("safety" "vetting" "temporary") without ONCE stating the truth: "No one is entitled to live in the USA. The world is full of suffering people. If they all came here we'd be swamped worse than now, and our lives would be destroyed. NO! Someone else's poverty isn't a justification for forcing my neighbor to welcome them into their home, feed & clothe them and offer his wife to them for a bedmate. And those who act like this is somehow our obligation are either mentally ill or our sworn adversaries. Which is it?"

The Poster "Child" from last night's local news was a Syrian "refugee," a 60 year old woman who can't speak English, never will speak English, will always be a burden on whatever society she lands in.

Instead of her family supporting her (as should be), her presence in the USA means my family gets to support her (and her huge brood.)

Judas Iscariot in the form of The Conference of Catholic Bishops brought these people here to dump on us. The people working for that organization deserve to be drawn and quartered in public with the act livestreamed on FB and uploaded to Youtube. I'll pay to rent the horses.

How about this: The God-Emperor takes in one refugee for every celebrity who said they would leave if he were elected, and that celebrity is micro-chipped and sent to that refugee's home to live for the rest of their lives. A one-for-one swap.

The chip is for tracking purposes, in the event the celebrity ever tries to leave their new home, and it is deeply embedded to prevent removal.

The vast majority of FSOs and US "immigration officials" genuinely believe their job is to represent the interests of whatever country they're posted to, or the potential immigrants from that country. Representing America and American interests is meaningless to them; they view America as a proposition/liberty/equality so anyone is as American as everyone else, and in the rare case that proposition has any legitimate interests, those are stated by only the correct elected official - of the SJW variety. As members of the executive branch, FSOs are sworn in under presidential authority - but I can remember up to about half my A100 class vehemently insisting the newly-elected Bush I (for all his flaws, they really viewed him at the time as the continuation of the hated Reagan) was not "their" president and they did not consider themselves under anyone's authority. If they acknowledged any authority at all it was that same, vague, amorphous "equality" and various leftist propositions.

Trump ought to fire all existing FSOs (sorry, Sherwood) and utterly redo FSO training. Instead of spending 85% of the time telling FSOs they're the smartest of the smart, the elite, the best, they need to be massively humbled and have it drummed into them they serve at the President's pleasure and are employed to carry out his policies, not their own beliefs.

In 2006, researchers linked Toxoplasma infection to neuroticism in both men and women. Neuroticism - as defined by psychology - is the "an enduring tendency to experience negative emotional states," including depression, guilt and insecurity. The link between neuroticism and suicide is well established, thus if the parasite does make people more neurotic, it's not surprising that it influences rates of self-violence.

Chris Mallory wrote:Happy LP9 wrote:Where was the tears and outrage over giving Iran billions in cash from teh neoconcs and cucks, none, you fear based losers - people like you hold us back and hold us down and now you are fired!

The NeoCons and cucks are still whining about one of the few things Obama got right, the Iran deal. The only people against giving Iran back it's own own money are Israel First shills.

As always, it's funny to see SJW's and Alt-Righters of certain...flavors converge on the Israel question.

Here's are some questions for you:

1. Do you want to see significant quantities of Jews in your country move to Israel ?

2. Did this deal make that scenario more or less likely?

3. Who did most U.S Jews vote for ?

A Nuclear Iran is an existential issue for Israel. Perhaps you don't see it that way, it doesn't matter. Israelis do. As such it pretty much trumps every other issue (A fact which the sniveling opportunist Bibi rides on every election). Perhaps you think the holocaust is real. Perhaps you think it's an elaborate hoax. It doesn't matter - for Israelis and U.S Jews alike it a specter that is in the background and informs all public discourse.

You probably have your own notions as to how Obama's administration viewed American nationalism. I contest that its views were even less compatible with Israeli Nationalism. It's no accident that the Iran deal was followed by a massive security aid deal with Israel, that while increasing the sum of money given, made it harder for Israel to use the aid in its own security industries, basically chaining it to the American ones more than ever.

And the funny thing is, most Jews in the U.S (which as I claimed before, by now are a nation distinct from the one in Israel) are very uncomfortable with Israeli Nationalism and the very notion of Jews as a nation. Having Israel under constant existential threat, and in constant need for American aid, saves them the need to deal with that question.

I am hoping for this showdown. They are under the delusion that the rest of the country needs them. When fed funding is cut off and other states are told not to do business with California or the same will happen to them, things will get interesting. I can wait for the flood of media stories about poor starving Mexican children in California, or how Trump caused the Mexican lead riots in their major cities.

Man Trump is really a hardcore leader.

I mean he is a tough man with smooth talk; when I look at him on TV, while he was signing those executive orders I said to myself "He is probably a nice guy, yeah he has to be, look at that cheetos smile and smooth talk, yeah that is a nice man doing what he has to do". Then he just pwns his enemies with extreme prejudice XD.

I mean it is scary and awesome, shock and awe Marines!

I hope Trumo goes 8 years, and those years become great economically and culturally for the American People, it would be like a beacon for everybody in the World! Europe would decide to do Reconquista 2.0 as Vox says, and Brazil... well we would probably go straight into civil war and the country would be gone.

u_u damn it, it never looks good my way. Still I hope Trump makes it, I mean, remember that guy from the Godzilla movie from 1998 when the dude electrifies the ground and all worms just come out like a E-Hole from Gears of Wars, the electricity is his actions, the worms are the SJW's ... and Trump is the HAMMER OF DAWN!

It's so typical of the Never-Trump cucks at National Review to try to portray the God-Emperor's decisive action as some sort of failure

Indeed. That's why it was way too soon to say they seemed to be un-cucking themselves, as someone did a few days ago. It will always be too soon. They will spend the entire Trump administration yearning for him to screw up and looking for the negative side of everything he does. Even here, after admitting that he did the right thing, they found an excuse to go back to the very dry well of suggesting that he's foolish and incompetent.

They will never be on our side, and people need to stop hoping they will out of misplaced nostalgia or magnanimity. President Trump is a businessman who has spent his entire adult life operating large and growing business concerns all over the world. He is handling this new job the way he would handle any business concern. If personnel are unable or unwilling to do the tasks they were hired and paid to do they are terminated. If his competitors malign and impugn him he maligns and impugns them right back while laughing in their faces. When he promises to deliver a product or service he does his best to make good on the promise.

How many of the people in government employ have held even one job in the private sector? They haven't had to perform according to the standards that employees in the private sector have to meet every day. They have been supervised by other government employees who were appointed by politicians the vast majority of whom have either never worked in the private sector or have been immersed in politics for so long they have forgotten what it was like to have to actually deliver.

The first concern of the politician is to get elected and reelected. When you are constantly wheedling and begging and cajoling and lying to get people to vote for you there is the constant fear of seeming to give offense. We on the right have had to live with mealy-mouthed poltroons masquerading as fearless defenders of freedom and champions of always vague and often unnamed but extremely significant values. Politicians avoid hard stands because to do so is to offend someone and risk bad press. Business men live the world of having to take a stand for a product or a service. Business men know that the best way to overcome bad press and criticism is to deliver what was promised and then laugh all the way to the bank. The complaints of the competition are music to the ears of a businessman because it means he is winning.

Does anyone on the left not remember that Obama promptly summoned McChrystal to a private meeting, whereupon Obama summarily fired McChrystal from his position as commander of forces in the Iraq/Afghan war?

McChrystal was clearly insubordinate. Obama was right to fire him. And at the time the conservative blogosphere conceded Obama was right to fire him. Because the principle was that we cannot have subordinates in the Armed Forces failing to subordinate themselves to their commander in chief. We cannot have a situation where we have subordinates who clearly will not follow orders, or even that there's a DANGER they will not carry out what the President wants them to do.

So it is here. Suck it up buttercups - It's President Trump, the duly elected POTUS, and he has the authority to fire subordinates who are clearly expressing inability or unwillingness to do their jobs.

It is all coming to a head much quicker than I expected, but this is one battle the left cannot win. All I see on the right is a hardening of attitudes (which is good), as there is no possibility of compromise with the left at this point on any issue. We are entering a civil war, if not a shooting one, a compete split in worldview between the two sides, it is like we inhabit two different worlds with two realities.

Within my family there is already a split. The leftist side literally sounds as if they are having a psychotic break with reality. One female wrote a long missive to my wife that read like something a schizophrenic would write. I am not joking, it was incoherent with no logical structure at all, from a female with a masters degree.

If the senate refuses to confirm any of Trumps picks, so be it, ignore them and appoint interim folks who are more hard line than the eventual picks.

Any official who does not follow the line, fire them.

If California wants to be a sanctuary state, hold up all federal welfare payments until they comply.

If the left revolts or riots, crush them. In legal manner of course.

In the end the best we can hope for is Emigration followed by evacuation of the invaders. I truly hope that the evacuation does not become something worse.

Well the three South States (Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná) could attempt to leave the errrr "Union" but I don't see it happening peacefully.

Long time ago the state of Rio Grande do Sul attempted to separate and create it's own country, and were repressed by the government, same think with other two other States from other regions, including São Paulo. Basically our government has a History of crushing any kind of insurrection and separatists. So there is a historical familiarity for repression and no prevision in constitution for anyone to leave, as a matter of fact the constitution allows the president to fight off such groups and our government is entirely made of Soft Lefties or Hardcore SOB's who are well aware that if the South or just São Paulo leaves the federal government would be over within a week, since the South States and São Paulo are the economical Juggernauts in the Country and therefore the ones who make all government things happen, with exception of maybe 2 states that actually can produce the money to maintain all government related projects, all other states take money away from the South and São Paulo. Hence the reason for a Separatist movement, however the movement has no traction with people, it is mostly made by a small group that doesn't really influence the local governments, and the Nationalism in the South is pretty strong, they wouldn't think of leaving as the correct thing to do. The problem they have can also be fixed by having a federal government that is actually worth something (AKA utopia! This country has an industry of corrupt politicians)

So, I think that their dream is REALLLLY a looooooong shot. Very unlikely in a peaceful way and even if they were to grab arms to split they wouldn't be able to gather a lot of support, which as far as I know they have no desire for any kind of Guerrila warfare. So right now the separatists are stuck with the Stupid Federal Government. They and everybody else...

Now I'm having fantasies about California openly rebelling against Trump policies, Trump sending in the troops and reducing California to the status that the southern states had after the Civil War. Then Texas carpetbaggers come in and take over the government. :)

File this under "You Can't Make This Shit Up." An excerpt from a story/editorial/advertisement in today's New York Times, written without a trace of irony:

At least part of the mounting consternation in the capital was because of the clear break with ingrained rituals and ways of doing business.

When Democrats were clashing with President George W. Bush, there was a general expectation of how things would go and the realization that both sides understood their roles.

That may be the highest albeit unintended praise to date heaped on the GE.

@68 "I still think there's a direct link between infection with the brain-eating Toxoplasma gondii and the entire leftist paradigm."

Not necessarily. I expect I have the nasty parasite-thing (had cats growing up and into my late 30s). And I am a far right reactionary who tells the Repubs when they call (damn! just about every week!) looking for money that I am dedicated to the disassembly of the Repub party! Alt-Right all the way!

Even easier, close the session. When Congress is recessed for more than 2 weeks, the President is free to appoint anyone he likes to any post without need for confirmation. I believe the appointment lasts for 1 year.
And a recess resolution only needs a majority of those present.

Blogger VFM #7634 January 31, 2017 4:29 PM

@143 Snidely
I suspect it's more Trump's style to fight for his nominees by the book, tooth-and-nail. Reason being, it's in his Alpha nature to want to compel the sniveling Democrats holding things up to submit to his will, and to beat them until they do.

A recess appointment strikes me as more Gamma-like, a "declaring victory via end-run" trick that Democrats use whenever they can -- like the reconciliation maneuver they used for Obungholecare -- and I doubt Trump would do this unless it was absolutely necessary.

He's already given "Fake Tears" Chuck Schumer a new nickname. You don't want Trump to give you a new nickname, especially one that's as emasculating as this one.

Someone mentioned earlier the 60 year old Syrian whom was the latest poster child

Surely the response to any on the LEFT crying about this woman just needs to be grabbed, dragged to the nearest homeless person and say "HERE help THIS person right in front of you! They need help and they are your fellow countryman."

Jack Donovan (Author) talked about this. Helping people far away that have no cultural links is great for virtue signalling. Helping people of your own tribe in your own city carries no weight with the LEFT.

I haven't tried Gab at my particular agency, but I can get to Vox Popoli and Alpha Game just fine. I think it depends on who's got control of the firewall and how they set up the rules.

Of course, unlike many of my civilian co-workers, I don't have enough time during the day to sit around and Gab. Coming to VP to read the updates from the Supreme Dark Lord is fulfilling enough, and plausible enough to tell folks it's a break from reading through mindless government writing that nobody not being paid at least 6 figures would willingly read.

They did, however, bitch about my being on Failbook the first day I actually had full system access. At the time, it was the only way to keep in communication with the wife about a personal issue we needed to coordinate throughout the day over. Between the actual work, the endless virtue signaling and the uselessness of the govies, I haven't logged on to that forum while on the clock in almost a month. Haven't missed it. If I could get my family and close friends to other, markedly un-cucked platforms, I could definitely get away from the Failbook.

Blogger tublecane January 31, 2017 6:17 PM

@25-I was reading Sam Francis' "Revolution from the Middle," and the back cover talks about seeing ourselves as insurgents rather than conservatives. That's what Trump is doing, basically. His inaugural address was about taking it to the Washington class on behalf of the majority population. He's not there to conserve anything of the status quo, though hopefully he can reinstate some of the old, discarded ways.

One problem with the conservative movement, among many, was that they saw themselves as defending something (the nation, constitutional government, U.S. culture, Western Civilization) against lefty forces intent on taking over. But the left has already taken over. They own the culture, the government. That fight is past. You can fight to stop them from taking over more by defending the already-instituted leftism. But that's an untenable position. The other side has all the initiative.

The left doesn't own the nation or our civilization, but is in the process of destroying them. To stop that destruction, you must attack, not merely defend. Certainly you can't do it while leaving in the hands of the enemy virtually all institutional power. Therefore, you must storm the citadel of government, education, media, and so forth. There's no other option.

Realizing this represents a "gestalt switch." It won't happen to a lot of conservatives, and almost none of the leadership. Which consists mostly of the leftists of two seconds ago, who've been outflanked by the vanguard left. Obviously they have reason to defend Washington as it is. They helped build it! How they ever managed to convince the rest of the right they represented all the right I'll never know, except that they had access to the Megaphone.

Regarding the Switch, once you realize lefties run the government and culture, it's easy to be a radical. Then you have no use for conservatism, except for the Big, Timeless things, like the nation, religion, and civilization itself. For everything else, it's vaguely ridiculous.

Except defending the two-seconds-ago past. Nothing's better than conservatism at that. (Because nothing else bothers trying.)

There are reports that 900 of the dumb bastards actually signed. They probably thought "What. He can't fire us all.
Maybe they are too young to remember what Reagan did to the air traffic controllers.

Meanwhile, Spicer Says: White House spokesman Sean Spicer said on Monday he was aware of the memo but warned career diplomats that they should either "get with the program or they can go."

The following words demonstrate a lack of argument when uttered by an egalitarian:
Decency
Immoral
Bigot
Sociopath
Inhumane
Selfish
Anti-social
And so on. These words are what ostensible adults use when they want to sound more than just a child going “you’re mean!” — Which is exactly what they are.

I only clicked on GAB to see what Vox posted. I don't get on social media at work.

I am still stunned they give us Failbook and YouTube. I also don't get why they permit folks to be logged in to FB and use YT all damned day.

Talk about eating up bandwidth. I could probably do my damned JOB twice as fast without those dipshits surfing all day. Instead, I get to watch my IE move at a snail's pace.

But then again we pay dindus to talk endless and/or surf coupons on overtime so I shouldn't be surprised.

I'm actually more interested in Sessions, rather than Trump.

I want to see him start busting some ass...and NOT along Party lines.

Holder was a total disgrace.....along with his predecessors, who I can't even name. Don't want to. Except for Reno, the truck-driving dyke.

Think about it.
