He did not enjoy the smell of heresy

The God-Emperor Ascendant puts the fear of himself into the House Republicans:
The Trump effect has landed forcefully on Capitol Hill.

Less than two hours after President-elect Donald Trump criticized House Republicans — in a tweet, of course — for trying to gut an ethics investigative unit on the first day of business in the new Congress, those plans lay in shambles in the Republican conference’s meeting room.... By aiming his social-media fire hose on fellow Republicans — even as he assembles a Cabinet filled with billionaires and insiders — Trump made clear that he intends to continue giving voice to the anti-establishment outsiders who propelled him through the Republican primaries against much more seasoned politicians and to an electoral-college win against Democrat Hillary Clinton.

That may give Trump leverage over those members of the Republican conference who have claimed the “outsider” mantle for the past six years, a period when the most conservative Republicans have gained stature back home by flouting leadership, whether it was John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) as speaker or Ryan for the past 15 months.

These Republicans regularly turned their backs on party leadership and claimed ideological purity in their carefully crafted districts that were bastions of like-minded conservatives. They operated on the assumption that the only likely political penalty was a primary challenge from the right.

Now, their party’s leader wields a Twitter account with 18.5 million followers. As he prepares to enter the Oval Office in little more than two weeks, Trump is far more popular in their districts than they are. He employs as his chief strategist the former leader of Breitbart News, a conservative media outlet that has included among its top targets the skewering of Republicans not deemed suitably conservative.

As a result, the first day of the 115th Congress served as a sort of beta test of how some Republicans will react when Trump sics his media power on them. If the most conservative flank tries to buck Trump on a pricey infrastructure deal, how will they handle the heat from Trump’s Twitter feed? If moderate Republicans try to block his moves on health care, will they withstand the heat if Trump goes to Breitbart to attack them by name?

On Tuesday the answer came fast: Run for cover.
It is good to see Donald Trump putting the bully back in the bully pulpit. Someone needs to keep the corrupt bastards in line.

Want to get re-elected, Congressman? Then you'd damn well better play ball.

I think the reference was to Boehner was the leadership being flouted (as it continues to reference Ryan as current leadership being flouted).

To those marxists who argue Trump's money and the wealthy he surrounds himself with automatically implies corruption, I may point out that the Alinsky-ite that occupied the White House for the last eight years did more to damage society than any Trump cabinet member has done.

And once we got that out of the way, we can start to debate the SJWs on non-emotional facts.

Anonymous Icicle January 04, 2017 6:04 AM

This is great what Trump is doing to the fake news media and the House. But that is still the visible part of the iceberg. More sinister is what is underneath the water.

He needs to start curb stomping the surveillance state in the background. Surveillance is always the first step to attack planning. Remember Stalin got his power through the secret police. And it is getting worse with the increase in technology. Think the old COINTELPRO on steroids.

The ones that target the Tea Party for audits.
The same ones that froze Cernovich's bank accounts (remember that???).
The ones scrubbing the New York times of that pedophile ring.

I am starting to see vague outlines forming... WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?

President-Elect Trump is proving himself to be a better politician before his Inauguration than Obama was for eight years.

He is going to need Congress to approve of his ideas in the coming months and years (Everything from Supreme Court picks, to funding The Wall.). Getting the Republicans in line on this little issue "tests the water" so to speak. Doing this will also build up some "good will" with the few remaining "good" Democrats in Congress as well.

We have adequate precedent from our own Anglo-Saxon legal heritage. I was always impressed that old courthouses had a gallows right out back; so that after you were sentenced, they could march you out and administer the public hanging quickly.

In this case, I think building a line of gallows that follows the Beltway all the way around DC would be adequate motivation for everyone else in the swamp. That's what; 100+ some odd miles? I think one every couple hundred yards or so would be sufficient if you change the bodies on them once a week or so. They could keep them well stocked with traitors and quislings in DC for years.

But you're right: hanging is relatively clean and quick if it is done right: short drop, sudden stop and all that.

You have no idea. The surveillance state is, aside from mind control in the media, the globalists second most powerful tool.

Ask yourself, why would an organisation need supercomputers to monitor its own citizens?

Its because they are not citizens you dummy. They are scared of the citizens. The tools shown in the Snowden film (and confirmed by other contractors/intelligence officials) show the ability to blackmail anyone by digging up their relations and personal information in a neat google search on the person that goes into the their facebook, email, skype, and thread post messages.

Snowden recommends using Tor, and at the least taping over your webcam on your laptop if you're not using it. It won't matter if you're living in a basement.

It will matter if you have a lot to lose and you become politically active.

But Tor is so fucking sloooow.

Blogger Some Dude January 04, 2017 8:18 AM

They can get into your whatsapp and Tinder as well.

Blackmail is more efficient than bribery. The supercomputer in Arizona is meant to enslave.

Normal field ops can catch most terrorists. At least the ones not funded by Saudi Arabia, under CIA/Mossad approval. That's why I call it THE WAR ON THEATRE TERRORISM

At higher levels of cognition, one will see the horrific truth, that elements of the governments of the West in US, UK, Germany, France are working to destroy the West and collectivise it under a cabal. I have not been able to figure out yet the genetic split in the cabal...but if we look at the Council Foreign Relations board, they are mostly jewish.

HBD theory shows jews are the highest IQ, schizo, low empathy and will tend to rise to the top. Ergo, we can be sure the Western liquidation movement is predominantly jewish. That is why I find this inside baseball stuff boring. Its Zion, not the dems, not the communists, not the moooslems, not Russians, not the fucking CHINESE.

The NSA exists primarily for control not security. It may better be known as the National Surveillance Agency.

In truth, Snowden has tried to show the NSA can look at everything you think (through your online activity).

Your point being?

Blogger Some Dude January 04, 2017 8:36 AM

The most remarkable thing since the beginning days of the internet is how right the original conspiracy theorist tinfoil hat people were in overall thrust.

Its almost absurd how, generally speaking, they are correct about an aristocracy of around 400 families going back to Allen Dulles time representing the gentile elite and a Zionist shadow world government faction. These are pretty close to the reality of the predicament of the West.

Now, some of the other theories look stupid today. Who knows? Maybe in time they won't. But if we had not had motivated and impassioned netizens teetering on the edge raising these issues and archiving information, the Illusion is harder to deconstruct.

There's almost something mystical about how these people could see immediately Bush was a fraud when the rest of you were eating your Freedom Fries and solemnly declaring war on Muslims, when it is becoming evident the globalists will stop at nothing - up to and including detonating the WTC and the lesser known WTC 7 building nearby.

You will see that civilisation's Master selects against schiz for autism. In time, you will also see the people at the top are paranoid schiz, psychopaths and other dark triad peoples as ecology predator prey modelling predicts who don't want the competition.

Democracy's greatest threat was not from internal dissent and corruption, but outside homogenous tribally driven actors infiltrating the republic.

Blogger Some Dude January 04, 2017 8:41 AM

Democracy by its fundamental nature creates rival internal factions that make it easier for a homogenous pure outside faction to play each of these off one another.

Notice the cuckold consensus now.

All major parties agree to open borders, the Blank Slate, prasing Zion and unending war on Zion's last holdouts in its backyard.

Hollande is being blackmailed. The mistress on the scooter was a warning. Drop the 75% tax rate. Go to war for Israel in Africa. Blair/Cameron are the same policies. Likewise Social Dem and Christian Dem are the same - open borders for repopulation for Zion.

These factions may disagree on detail. But by playing them off one another, Zion gets what it wants. The liquidation of the West with some gentle elite passive or outright approval (depending on their own blackmailing).

We are as immersed in mind-controlling, unipolar propaganda as any fish is immersed in water. We don't even notice it. Yet a Trend Change occurs, in a process of punctuated equilibrium, so how was it to play out?

We're seeing it. The homogenizing yin of social media turns out to have its yang in the form of a Bully Pulpit whose occupant already marches at the head of the parade, even as the band changes course to follow a new path. Trump is the Band Major of this time, chosen by the band itself as it turns away from its previously "planned" route.

Trump's administration must be in a place to bring down the Heavens on top of the Establishment Republicans who 1) believe they wield the same power as they did under Obama and 2) believe they are untouchable given the power of incumbency when facing reelection.

Changes in trend appear to be saturated with the Old Narrative People pushing their (supposed) power far into insanity land (because they got stupid and started believing in their own omnipotence, in this case that they can tell "The Public" whatever lies they concoct and get away with it.)

Remember when Karl Rove supposedly claimed that he was part of a system that could basically manufacture its own reality?

The people who are rich and powerful by occupying political office and operating "news" media empires took this delusion and erected twin skyscrapers on it. From senators to news network teleprompter-readers and their bosses, their actions now reveal just how profoundly they embraced the insanity of thinking they can sell any creative fiction they want as "truth" and "reality."

As I've noted before, THEY are the ones taking chainsaws and sledgehammers to the pillars on which their OWN CUSHY LIVES rest. They are making themselves look increasingly ridiculous, if not criminally insane.

Loved this article. Anything that damages or destroys the GOPe is great.

Thomas Carlyle stated that the foremost mark of all true Heroes is sincerity and Trump is Sincere. We are watching a full blown King/Emperor Hero unfold Right Now.

Nothing mystical about it. All you had to know was that he was his father's son.

However, TRAITORS do NOT deserve a hanging that's done right. What they deserve is a short-drop -- one that does NOT snap the neck -- leaving them to flail around, helplessly, instinctively kicking and waving the arms, as the noose slowly tightens enough to crush the airway and cause death by asphyxiation.

A too-long drop, of course, causes instant death by decapitation. That, of course, is too good for a traitor. Traitors MUST be made to suffer in their death sentance -- which is why the Constitution specifically allows Treason during war time to be punished by drawing (slicing open the abdomen and "drawing out" the internal organs while the condemned is not only still alive, but still AWAKE -- Think of the final moments of Braveheart -- Wallace is tied down on the table, about to be drawn out.) Drawing and Quartering optionally involved hanging. Hanging is reserved for those who, in their final moments, express some sort of contrition. Those who are defiant to the end throughout the Drawing Out don't get hanged -- their organless-but still living body is immediately re-tied to the horses for quartering. The 5 pieces (2 arms, 2 legs + head -- each with whatever part of the upper body remained attached to that limb) are then each taken to the 4 corners of the realm, and locked in gibbets -- Iron cages (resembling ake a bird cage), hanging from a strong post with a yardarm. The head is then taken to the seat of government, and displayed there in another gibbet. The duration of gibbetting is no less than one year, but usually longer.

If we had been smart, we would have done that to Klaus Fuchs and/or others who slipped nuclear weapons secrets to the Soviets -- I'm sure that activity did NOT stop during the Korean War, and thus, would have met the Constitutional qualification.

The fact that this Constitutinal punishment has never been carried out is a shame -- the fact that it had been used at least once would have made many think twice before engaging in their own treachery against the American public.

@28:

Actually, the most merciful form of hanging is probably pole hanging. No drop, thin noose, cut off blood to brain, instant unconsciousness, slow clinical death but the victim is unlikely to know about it or care.

Blogger Tom Kratman January 04, 2017 2:56 PM

@74:

If you want a slow, kicking, gasping, choking hanging the trick is to put a very tight noose under the right side of the chin, and haul up slowly. Even there, though, a minute - two minutes, tops - of kicking is all you'll get.

I hear that John McCain has come out of his stupor, and has changed his message from "The Russians did it" to "The North Nietnamese did it!" He also adds that they sabotaged his plane to make those Zuni rockets fire while still on the deck of the USS Forrestal.

Unless you're Tom Kratman, in which case, hanging's too good for 'em, I believe.

both the Kaziglu Bey method and the rope are more cost effective.

"The Sons of Kaziglu" has a certain ring to it ...

"... very tight noose under the right side of the chin"

Does it not depend on which side you place the "slip" (the part of the rope that hangs down from the pole and slips inside the loops) end of the rope?

Holy shit, dat wording. The Bezos Propaganda Center is no longer even worth to be called a blog, we're in comments section territory at this point.

Give it a couple more years and you'll have zealous fresh graduates writing about them motherfuckers in the Trump administration.
