Antifa targeting Ivan Throne

This is a direct result of Castalia House author Ivan Throne staring down dozens of hapless antifa by himself. This is how you know that Ivan is making a difference, merely by daring to stand in silent opposition to them in public.

Do you know why all of the SFWA stuff started in the first place, after I had been a member in good standing for nearly a decade without incident? It was because I dared to question the SF-SJW Narrative in passing, in a single paragraph of an otherwise unrelated paragraph, in public.

The mental pollution of feminism extends well beyond the question of great thinkers. Women do not write hard science fiction today because so few can hack the physics, so they either write romance novels in space about strong, beautiful, independent and intelligent but lonely women who finally fall in love with rugged men who love them just as they are, or stick to fantasy where they can make things up without getting hammered by critics holding triple Ph.D.s in molecular engineering, astrophysics and Chaucer.

That's what launched the Nielsen Haydens' eight-year campaign against me, which McRapey and many other SF-SJWs hastened to join. You can read that column, and 227 others, in the first volume of my Collected Columns, Innocence & Intellect, 2001-2005. And if you want to learn more about how Ivan Throne, a man who has overcome much more serious challenges than most of us have ever had to face in our lifetimes, possessed the fortitude to face down dozens of screaming, shrieking antifas, you should read The Nine Laws.

There is nothing antifa and the SJWs fear more than the evidence of public opposition, because it emboldens others. That is why they always try so hard to stamp it out as viciously, and in as threatening a manner, as possible. Because they know that men like Ivan and me neither fear nor respect them, and they are terrified that our lack of fear and respect will prove contagious as the Alt-Right grows.

I have looked at some laser engravers today. There seems to be a new market opening up - engraving SJW skulls for VFM and Alt-Right allies. Unfortunately it is not full-service, as the gold silver etc. capping needs to be outsourced to the usual.

The future looks bright - good hunting all.

I like Ivan very much and his book is spot on. Instead of trying to teach men how to be men, which we already know, it basically says "you're men, but the world is an evil place that has turned against you. Here's how to live in it"

He did this on March 8th and declared that the flag would fly everyday (and under guard) of the Trump presidency.  He also put streaming video on it just so we would know that we hadn't broken him...yet!

The thing is he also put audio on his stream as well.  This combination of open challenge, mystery, clues and a chance to piss off Shia proved irresistible to those who labor in secret for glory of Kek.

@14 Cataline

Looking at http://www.hewillnotdivide.us/ now I see clouds moving pretty fast behind a flagpole. A flagpole with nothing on it. Nothing at all. Looking mighty empty.

Let's review events.
Minor actor has an emotional meltdown after the election, creates what is supposed to be a Safe Space in Brooklyn for libtards to chant and whine. Turns out to not be so Safe, minor actor gets arrested when a temper tantrum goes to far in front of cops.

Safe Space gets take out to Albuquerque in front of some downtown bar, lasts for a while until shots are fired nearby at night. I bet the owner of the bar didn't want any more of that kind of publicity, and that's why the cam went away. The spray paint probably didn't help.

Safe Space gets taken to an undisclosed location, where all the interactive fun is gone but a flag will be flown in defiance, yes sir! But the power of the fully functional /chan tracks the flagpole down, outwits the guards and hosts MAGA on the live feed.

If someone put this in fiction it would be too ridiculous to be true. This is so much LuLZ I can hardly contain myself!

Peter Jackson: Perhaps off topic, but science fiction, particularly anything involving space travel, rarely obeys the laws of physics. That's why I don't read it.

I don't have any problem reading science fiction -- I can ignore the implausible science stuff if the story is compelling enough. But ironically, as one of the few females Vox knows who can hack the physics, it's turned out to be a huge impediment to writing science fiction. I simply know too much to write plausible science fiction that's heavily focused on the science.

For instance, I came up with a great story idea about an astro-archeologist who discovers evidence for a populated solar system existing just within the event horizon of a supermassive black hole -- believe it or not, in principle, this could happen -- but in writing it, I reached a state of paralysis trying to account for all of the physics, and gave up.

Instead, I've had to focus on solar system-level stories that assume some of the more mundane problems associated with space travel have been solved. I'm about halfway finished with a novelette about guerrilla warfare occurring in orbit around Saturn that doesn't involve anything too far-fetched.

Vox may recoil at this, but I've also started writing space romance. In this genre the plausibility of the science simply doesn't matter, and I can get as silly as I want.

-----

Getting back to the main point of the post, I would like to express my appreciation for men like Ivan and Vox who have the vision and fortitude to carve out paths for the rest of us to follow. It's the best sort of leadership: optimistic and forward-thinking without being mindlessly so. They acknowledge how bad things are, but offer hope and a clear path forward in the midst of it all. Much appreciated, especially for those of us who are more inclined to be overwhelmed by negativity. Plus, it's just cool to see people facing down the thugs and bullies. I now have a bit of a crush on Ivan after he took on the Antifa thugs...

Maier and weka, I appreciate the enthusiasm, so I hate to disappoint you, but the space romance I'm writing is about as silly as it can be. I wanted to try my hand at writing dippy romance-in-space, and I'm going all-out.

How all-out? Well, forget love triangles, I'm introducing the love parallelogram. The heroine will have to choose not only between two hunky alphas, but also a surprise love interest unlike any other. Amazon will have to invent a new subcategory for it. I'll include a little speculative science to give it a veneer of SF -- parallel universes and a disturbing alien presence -- but it'll be far too silly for Castalia House and for my own reputation. I'll likely self-publish under a pseudonym.

Imagine that you're a man at a bar. You have just barely enough education to have understood someone else's explanation, say a bachelor's in math. And you're talking to your good friend who is really smart but not so educated, a roofer with a patent. And then start writing.

Just bought The Nine Laws a couple of days ago.

Dense stuff, if a little cultish. A lot of good wisdom in there but the hypnotic style puts me on edge. Still the book's self-hype is more or less justified by the actual content. A lot better than Cernovich anyway.

The book tries its damnedest to fly under my all-encompassing "Catholic morality radar" by which I instinctively judge everything. So far it does a relatively good job at that. However I suspect that finding a suitable integration of Mr. Throne's philosophy with the demands of Christian morality will be the work of years, if I choose to pursue it. For instance, it's difficult to tumble and turn enough to synthesize the "No Laws" principle with the natural moral law put into the world by God. To take one example.

Still I am a big fan of the book and I think it has enough energy and insight to allow real paradigm shifts for interested readers.

Where she has mostly gone is off the deep end. Admittedly she was able to manage a tightrope walk, in a high wind, between Pink and Blue for twenty years.

But Bujold always had some odd tendencies in that regard. My wife likes her stuff but has always found her love of "uterine replicators" off putting. To be precise Bujold's attitude of, "all women would want this if it were only possible". My wife is very clear that, no that is not the case at all. Pregnancy is part of the bonding process between mother child and all normal women want it.

I was willing to ignore it because weird ideas about sex was the price you always paid for reading science fiction at all. It had been that way for decades.

I think one of the things that really surprised me about the Mote in God's Eyes was a science fiction world where attitudes about sex were conservative and that came across as a good thing.
