This is why you ID the enemy

The violent antifa ID'd by /pol/ is scared and on the run. Ivan Throne observes a desperate reddit post by his "really good friend":

"False proof". That's a good one, by which he means "photo and video evidence of my really good friend, aka me, repeatedly striking people with a bike lock". Never hesitate to identify antifa and SJWs, and to publicize their activities. They greatly fear it because they rely upon being able to operate without their friends, families, and employers knowing what they are doing. And remember that even Facebook and Twitter posts often go unnoticed until attention is drawn to them.

Identify and Expose. That should be the goal.

I think the tactic that should be used at these events when dealing with antifa is to drag them back into our side one at a time, remove their masks, and photograph them...and maybe zip tie them and hold them until the event is over, although that runs a risk of a potential kidnapping charge. Possibly search them for ID, but that also carries some potential legal liability. (This is their tactic, although instead of ID'ing people they simply gang up and kick them on the ground.) But if organized in such a manner a group could neutralize and ID quite a few of them pretty quickly, and once this tactic is learned by antifa it should have a chilling effect on subsequent black blocs.

The best part is this idiot's concern of civil action as they may only get their hand slapped by a liberal Prosecutor but once a civil suite is filed...all bets are off. They may have to sell off their Xbox and noodle collection to pay.

This is still one of /pol/'s greatest works. They had his eyes, his forearm and his shoes. And they smoked the guy out. Then they proceeded to explain why it's really bad to poke the nest of killer bees.

Also, while I know it was a crime, using his Amazon account to buy 14 bike locks is the stuff of legends.

Agreed. A criminal charge (and possibly a conviction) gives martyr status to these types. A civil forfeiture can be economically crippling, now and into your future.

A civil judgment for a battery claim arising from an injury caused by willful and malicious conduct would give rise to punitive damages (if malicious intent can be proved by clear and convincing evidence) AND would generally not be dischargeable in bankruptcy. Like taxes, child support, and student loans, its the type of debt that follows you to the grave.

Antifa likes to throw M80s right?
M80s have like a 5-8 second fuse on them IIRC. I wonder if there's something you could dip the fuses into that would cause them to burn faster (like 1 second or less)?
Seems to me anyone with a black hoodie and bandanna could infiltrate an Antifa crowd really easy ... with a bag of rigged M80s ... passing them out like gum and then leave.
Then when things get going, sit back and watch the Antifa fingers fly.

Now, I know you have heard that "97% of scientists believe in climate change", right, but do you know where that comes from? I will tell you.

There was a study, not by climate scientists, but by two sociologists. It claims that of almost eleven thousand scientists, 97% believe in climate change.
First, it was not eleven thousand scientists, but papers, some of which were written by the same person as other papers.
Second, they first threw out the two thirds of papers that did not mention climate change at all. That means that at most, even if it was eleven thousand scientistswhich it wasn't, at most 34% could have believed it.
They then used other methods to throw out even more papers, untill they had thrown out 95% of them, then they claimed that of the remainder, 97% believed.
Conclusion, 95% of scientist DO NOT believe in climate change, at least not enough to mention it.
It should be noted that, even of the ones who did, it often had little to do with the study the paper was about, and was simply thrown in to please ceertain people to git that grant money. Also, only 1 in 3 of those even counted as science, science consists of actual facts, with numbers, not "ahh buh-leeeeeve in cimate change".

Since when was science about belief?

You have to laugh that on a subreddit about legal advice, there isn't a single person telling this goon to get a lawyer. The first comment actually tells him to approach the police and tell them his side of the story...without a lawyer, or at least he doesn't mention that important part. Jesus, what a cluster. Never talk to the cops without a lawyer. Tell them your name and provide ID and then zip it. That's advice for our guys who are going to show up for Coulter's event too. For God's sake don't talk to the cops if you're arrested. Don't be rude, but don't be helpful either. They're not trying to help you.

If these things keep going on and escalating, might be time to set up some sort of legal defense fund to keep some lawyers on retainer so they can go down to the jail and get our guys out on bail.

Anonymous johnc April 22, 2017 12:18 PM

4K video. Send it to /pol/. We're the FBI now.

Beware that antifa are also using their nationwide network to identify and take down targets outside of rally scenarios. Here are just a few stories from their recent social media postings.

White Supremacist "Trigger" Tom Sent to Hospital by Chicago Antifa
Rumors were confirmed on social media that Cliff Warby was knocked out and hospitalized by Anti-Fascist punx
Rockford IL "Daily Stormer" Meetup Disrupted by Antifas

Even Trump supporters wearing MAGA hats are targets:
Wuss Commies attack Freedom Fighters

Keep your guard up at all times and try to stay in groups where possible. They are all over, even in red states and have established funding mechanisms for any potential legal and medical bills. Be smart and don't broadcast your personal activity. They have been working at this for decades and the broader right is somewhat new to the scene so the more info we have on these people and their tactics the better.

One of the most common verbal tics associated with lying is depersonalization. Not that we need heuristics to determine guilt here when there's actual video evidence, but it's interesting that they can't even lie convincingly under the full cloak of anonymity. They know they brought this on themselves.

I got them to stop linking to her page and she began to self-censor but apparently her behavior wasn't considered egregious enough to fire her. On the right, you get fired for an off color joke. On the left, you keep your job in the absence of video showing you actually engaged in violence.

The phrasing is amusing. Like something out of a college frat house, "Say, can you tell me the symptoms of gonorrhea? For a friend. A friend of mine is really concerned!"

Anonymous David of One April 22, 2017 1:37 PM

Another important point that should be stressed is that when any of these individuals go to court, part of the "discovery" process would be to determine if these individuals are part of a paid/compensated anti-American/globalist effort ... for example a paid Soros group. Gathering information and documenting external anarchist/globalist antagonists is very important to combat globalist groups.

This would include determining membership and participation in these groups, identification of other members and tracking down their "community organizers" and funding entities.

Anonymous johnc April 22, 2017 1:39 PM

True. In Germany they use a forum at indymedia for that called indymedia/linksunten . I don't know if there are still international indymedia's because they have kind of a constantly collapsing infrastructure.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_Media_Center

German ANTIFA has their people get a press ID, then they walk to right wing meetings, and take the highest resolution possible portrait photo of anyone there, try to identify them collaboratively, preferrably find out car license plate number and home address; then they come and light up your tires in the night with BBQ lighters. You put them on the tire, light'em up and walk away.

This has over the years cost more than 500 cars in Berlin and Hamburg mostly. They have for instance burned down the car of AfD politician and member of EU parliament Beatrice von Storch.

Also, Mitchell's been feuding with everyone. He's blocked Paul Joseph Watson, Tom Woods, Paul Nehlen, and a hundreds if not thousands of other accounts he deems insufficiently pro-Trump. If you don't agree with everything Trump does now and in the future, you're "#FakeBase" according to Boomer cuck Bill Mitchell.

@79 Essentially, all that's required in Texas is to be in fear of your life or the lives of others. On your property, if someone is trying out arson for size.....Well, are you fearful? But here's the real world catch....Best be using enough deadly force in the first shot....Don't be leaving a wounded "victim". 00 buckshot is a good choice.

Anonymous Alt-Zion Nazi Puncher April 22, 2017 5:20 PM

The only ones we need to punch Right are the swastika panties brigade like Richard Spencer and other Nazis and anti-semites. There is no room in the alt-right for national socialism or attacks on "the joos."

We fight the Black Bloc for self-defense. We punch Nazis with pleasure.

No, the Right needs to stop ankle-biting every man whose profile rises above the average. And stop worshipping every attractive woman who is capable of bleating basic Republican talking points.

There is no room in the alt-right for national socialism or attacks on "the joos."

National Socialism is not of the Right, being socialism. There is considerable room for attacks on the Jews, because most Jews are of the Left. Neither George Soros nor Jane Yellen are off-limits because they are Jewish.

Exactly. Most of us conservatives shop at Walmart and eat at McDonalds. Our mama's taught us "never trust a salesman." We do go to seminars or buy ebooks. So stop selling us! If something is good it should be free for all. I don't know when "conservatism" became a business but it sickens me.

Ps: ALL seminars are scams. It is an excuse to get you in a room so the scammer can "hard sell" you on more schemes. Same goes for infomercials.

In Texas is is lawful to use deadly force to stop someone from committing arson.

Arson only, or arson against an occupied structure? Better check that law to be sure. Pay attention to details.

Here's some more details. Pay attention.

tl;dr version - to stop arson against land, tangible or movable property and lots of other circumstances. Ex: Man no billed in Houston for shooting and killing a poor dindu who was vandalizing a car in the driveway at night.

A person is justified in using deadly force against another to protect land or
tangible, movable property:

when and to the degree he reasonably believes the deadly force is
immediately necessary:
(A) to prevent the other’s imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery,
aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the
nighttime; or
(B) to prevent the other who is fleeing immediately after committing burglary,
robbery, aggravated robbery, or theft during the night¬time from escaping
with the property; and
(3) he reasonably believes that:
(A) the land or property cannot be protected or recovered by any other
means; or
(B) the use of force other than deadly force to protect or recover the land or
property would expose the actor or another to a substantial risk of death or
serious bodily injury

Bike locks... bikes. I was perplexed by the sight of hooded antifa goons wheeling bicycles around in the background. Many bicycles, and I couldn't figure out what they were for. Now it clicks: quick getaway plus an innocent way to carry in a weapon. Why aren't vehicles of all kinds banned from the vicinity of a march/assembly? If they want to bring along bike locks, make them use them to lock up their bikes and proceed on foot.

3: mark with dye
4: SAFELY releases

a team who practices could probably bag&tag an antifa in 60 seconds or less.

Man no billed in Houston for shooting and killing a poor dindu who was vandalizing a car in the driveway at night.

Arguably theft in the night time, there have been many other cases no-billed in the last 30 years.

(A) to prevent the other’s imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery,
aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the
nighttime;

Note "during the night time", a detail. Pay attention to details.

The Antifa in Germany are putting charcoal igniters on tires of vehicles to burn the car. That fits the common definition of "arson", but there likely would be a difference between seeing a college dropout fiddling with your ride at high noon and the same at midnight, in terms of your legal defensibility.

Thanks for the text. It would have been a better legal cite if the relevant Texas code numbers were included.

With someone holding them and linked up with other bikes they make great barriers. You can see a lot of police forces doing the same thing with using bikes in their lines.

If you see a lot of Bikes clustered, that's probably their rally point where their banners will retreat to.

I would suggest good filtered eye and camara protection going forward, as their next tactic will probably be flashlights. I can tell you from experience a 3W flashlight will fry a gopro knockoff in about 2 seconds at a distance of about 10m. Stay safe out there.

On the other hand, with the right surveillance equipment you could record the beam itself all the way to its source...

Speaking of pol, /pol/ News Network on Twitter (one of my favorite accounts there) had a truly mind-numbing post they found from an antifa member;

That's right. An antifa laments "How can we feel safe?" in donning black masks and attacking innocent civilians for their political views. Including sucker-punching, macing women, and attempted homicide.

Funnily enough, THIS antifa, who calls Eric Clanton a "poor guy", essentially confirms that yes, /pol/ correctly identified the multi-time attempted murderer.

remember the 5 P's: Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.

Scout the protest venues in advance, in disguise (or from the rear, during the event). When you find clusters of bikes, lock them all together with your own chains & locks. Use high-quality chains & locks so they cant just bash them open.

"Note "during the night time", a detail. Pay attention to details."

I posted this in response to the "Arson only, or arson against an occupied structure?" question.

There is no occupied structure qualifier.

Re: "during the night time"

A) to prevent the other’s imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery,
aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the
nighttime; or

My education in this particular section of Texas law is from initial CHL licensing classes and subsequent renewal classes.

In *every* class during discussion and questions about this law the instructor emphasized the phrase "during the nighttime" applied only to the commission of theft and criminal mischief where they were specifically attached.

This was done because the first crimes listed, like arson, are always considered serious felonies, whereas the others are only serious felonies when committed at night.

I have little doubt some weasel-ey DA lawyer in more anti-self-defense jurisdiction (like Austin or Houston) might try to apply and interpret this law to prosecute someone beyond the law's intent, but for the context of this comment I appeal to the authority of the instructor authorized and licensed by the State of Texas to teach those classes.

Even in Texas, under the best circumstance, anyone who shoots someone may end up having long conversations with law enforcement, lawyers, and judges, and spend 1000's of dollars while doing so even if they end up not being prosecuted.
