When you're right, you're right

It's a bit rich for the French establishment to complain that Marine Le Pen and the Front National are going to "capitalize" on the fact that they are the only party willing to address the Islamic invasion of France.
Le Pen capitalises on Paris attack: Far-right leader calls for all foreign terror suspects to be expelled immediately after ISIS attack as voters are now expected to flock to her in Sunday's presidential election.
Why wait until foreigners are suspected? That's just a first step and we all know where this is eventually going to end, which is in Reconquista 2.0.

That being said, the election of Le Pen would be a marvelous step towards sanity in French and European politics. I particularly liked that she refused to even be interviewed in front of an EU flag. If she is elected, Frexit is all but guaranteed.

Anonymous CarpeOro April 21, 2017 11:50 AM

The French Left wing candidate (one of them) of course blamed class politics and the oppression of the poor. I hope enough French voters have awakened to the truth before the election. With the "Center" "Left" and "conservatives" all willing to do anything to defeat Le Pen, including forming a coalition, it isn't a guaranteed thing.

Blogger dc.sunsets April 21, 2017 11:52 AM

The "news report" goes on and on about how impossible it will be to "deport" such "French citizens."

It must take real effort to remain obtuse to the obvious inference.

Anonymous David of One April 21, 2017 11:56 AM

By God's grace may Le Pen win! This would be another great step for Europe to become free of the EU and their imposed invaders and barbarians!

Blogger dc.sunsets April 21, 2017 11:57 AM

@5 in a few years, if problems arise from "the poor," it will become mainstream to see poverty itself as a capital crime.

Left-cultists simply cannot imagine a world where their deeply-held values are reframed as evils. I guess the all-too-human propensity to straight-line project trends endlessly into the future is DNA-driven.

Only a few centuries ago poverty was seen as a deserved condition or God's Will, and ameliorating it was not on the radar. Two centuries of nearly continuous rising wealth put that sentiment to bed, but the breakdown of Debt-Hegemony promises to awaken it during the 21st.

The EU is the sick man of Europe and destined to fall. There can be no permanent multi-national government until JC returns.

I have no idea whether the French will elect LePen or not. What I do suspect is that if they reject LePen, the next time around the French establishment may not have someone as sane, reasonable and polite as LePen.

Blogger Midnight Avenue J April 21, 2017 12:07 PM

The chief principle of Democracy is Majority Rule. The people have a say in how they want stuff to shake out.

Am I mistaken?

So if the French People decide certain Others are Not French, well then...the Others have to go back.

It's not hard. I was raised on the pablum of this insanity and still find it difficult to comprehend. I am of French stock but don't consider myself French, regardless of my affection for the culture. Ditto Polish. If I was told I had to go back, well, I suppose I would, but I know I'd be going back to a land of Catholics or at least Christians who looked like me and likely felt as I did about matters, more often than not.

To blatantly import and support those who are not of your kind speaks of a desire for immolation I cannot comprehend.

Anonymous Jeff April 21, 2017 12:51 PM

A Le Pen victory might be even more significant than Trump given that it will mark the end of the EU and the Euro.

And for any traders out there, betting on a flight to safety might be wrong, just like it was with Trump. The markets may view the end of the EU and the Euro as a very positive development indeed.

Blogger Robert What? April 21, 2017 12:52 PM

Let's be honest. We all know Trump won the popular vote, when you strip out all the illegal alien and other fraudulent votes. Le Pen will have the same problem, but there is no Electoral College in France. So she will need to win by an additional 10% in order to overcome the likely massive fraudulent voting that will go on there.

Understanding the Left -

In terms of the five main French candidates we could define them as follows.

Marine Le Pen - traditional socialism / populism
François Fillon - civic nationalism / integration / patriotism / classical liberalism
Macron - (((Rothschild))) fag
Hamon - CIA / New Left
Mélenchon - Trotskyist / Bolshevik

Unlike what the media loves to claim, Mélenchon isn't by any means a "communist" in the Stalinist sense of socialist / pro-worker

Mostly he's just a variation of the (((Bernie Gutman))) / Ralph Nader anti-White bolshevism with a bit of anti-establishment thrown in the mix

The only true "left wing" candidate would be Marine Le Pen followed by Hamon.

Anonymous Britbong April 21, 2017 7:06 PM

Avid lurker/first-time poster.
Brit here - hello everyone.

OT but related - haven't seen this mentioned in the recent comments.
Prime Minister Theresa May has called a snap General Election in the UK for June 8th 2017. May sees it as a move to strengthen her hand in upcoming Brexit talks with the EU. Polls suggest the opposition left wing Labour Party have no chance of a win - they're still somewhat in disarray follwing the Brexit vote - most of their senoir cabinet ministers resigned after losing the vote (they campaigned to stay in the EU) leaving leader Jeremy Corbyn looking like a chump with no party support.

The next big election in Europe was going to be in France, but now Britain has one - the first since the Brexit vote, the result not necessarily a foregone conclusion. If May wins by large margin I can certainly see some of the French looking from across the channel, taking notes - particularly in the Frexit camp.

Election campaign has just begun. battle lines being drawn as we speak.

Anonymous Crew April 21, 2017 7:06 PM

Elsewhere some are saying that older folks who will rely on their pensions will not vote for Le Pen because of her stated aim to withdraw from the EU. This, it is claimed, will impoverish pensioners.

Anonymous Andrew Anglin April 21, 2017 7:28 PM

Marine Le Pen is France's Donald Trump. She is so thick with the Jews, that is, the principal authors of open-borders globalization, that Le Pen Sr. has denounced her as a shabbatz goy. Wilders has the same problem. Vox, there is no voting our way out of this.

I was in Political Science class, the first time I heard somebody (the professor) say that "People Get The Government They Deserve". I did not believe it at the time, and said so, and I still do not believe it for exactly the same reason.

People can be deceived. They can be lied to. They can be sold a bill of goods. The candidate can even "evolve" as Obama explained it.

They voted for what they wanted. They voted for what they were "promised" they would get. They believed in the candidate and hoped that the pressure of integrity alone would at least deliver on some or all of the campaign promises.

So if the promises turn out to be worthless or vote bait to win the election, we cannot fault the voter for doing what the political process required. The fault then lies with the candidate (and their campaign).

Blogger DonReynolds April 21, 2017 10:58 PM

@38 Andrew Anglin
I am sorry to say you are correct.
There is no political ballot box cure.
No diplomatic tricks or special deals.
There is no peaceful solution to the biggest issue of our lifetime, no less vital than the survival of Western Civilization itself.

Many of us have talked about it for decades and pointed at the cliff in the distance....the waterfall in the river ahead. There was plenty of time to slow down and stop, turn away from disaster. But instead, our leaders only increased speed and braced themselves on the steering wheel. No one could turn it. We were not even allowed to discuss turning the wheel or changing direction. That would be mean spirited. But I have to say, the crash is going to be much more mean spirited and cruel than simply saying NO to the invaders.

Anonymous Jack Amok April 21, 2017 11:11 PM

there is no voting our way out of this.

Of course there isn't. But Le Pen winning is still a victory for us because it means our side is pissed off enough to flip over the table. As with Trump, Le Pen isn't the messenger, she's the message.

The louder we send the message, the less tenacious the globalist dead-enders will be. The more clear it is they've lost, the more of them will quietly skulk off to hide rather than try to brazen it through.

Blogger DonReynolds April 21, 2017 11:28 PM

@29 Tyrone J. Trump
I have seen something like this before, back in 1987 in Memphis.
I ended up supporting a woman for mayor (through no fault of my own), who was opposed by five male candidates. She was the only Democrat and black, in a Democrat city. Her opponents were all look-alike white male Republicans.

Conventional wisdom would suggest that in a black city, she just might win the election and become the first black/female mayor of Memphis. She was the only woman, so that would be the women vote and she was the only black, so that would be most of the rest of the vote.

But it did not turn out like that. She ran a vigorous rainbow campaign, promising to represent all the citizens of Memphis. That was my doing. But two months before the election she was seduced by the Black Militants from Chicago into thinking she could win this with black votes alone. She came in a close second and the incumbent squeaked out another four year term. Since then, Memphis has only had black male mayors.

The real mistake was not in thinking she could win the mayor's race with black votes. That was possible. What they overlooked was the FACT that black men were not going to vote for a woman, not even a black woman. The campaign never imagined that she would lose the election because she could not get the black male vote. They simply did not vote. How chauvinistic are the male voters in France?

Blogger SteelPalm April 22, 2017 1:40 AM

At this point, I expect any world leader who falls short of "Kill every last Jew!" to be accused of being "thick with/controlled by the Jews". Even ones that despise Jews and Israel, support the EU and UN against them, fund Fakestinian jihadis, etc.

Putin, for instance, since he is friendly with Netanyahu on a personal level, and Russia maintains good relations with Israel, is often said to be controlled by the Jews by various Russian commentators online. Because apparently, decent relations with a nuclear power and major trade partner are unfathomable under any other scenario.

That being said, yes, Marine Le Pen's positions are substantially milder than the classic Front National ones. As Jared Taylor discussed with a right-wing Frenchman on his podcast. She has said nothing about repatriation, either.

Nevertheless, it would be a step in the right direction for the nation. We will see whether the French will grasp the opportunity.

Blogger Mr Darcy April 22, 2017 10:50 AM

Agreed. She will advance to the second round (May 7, I think), but I'll be stunned if she wins. Delighted, but stunned. I don't think the majority are ready to turn their backs on their precious "valeurs républicaines." But I'm praying hard for a NF victory. We'll have a pretty clear idea tomorrow night. The elction has been looking exactly like the US elections last year: Huge and noisily enthusiastic crowds for Mme Le Pen wherever she goes. Macron's crowds have been looking like Herself's crowds in the US last year. And, of course, the polls were wrong on Brexit, the US elections, and the Dutch elections, so the polls showing Macron and Le Pen neck-and-neck, and showing Mélenchon coming on strong might be as wrong as all the others have been. I mean, the guy even looks like a criminal. I don't think anybody is taking Fillon seriously anymore. But the situation is fluid, since all parties except the Front National have disintegrated. The stakes are high, so I hope the common-sensical majority will turn out in force, but I remain doubtful.

Blogger Mr Darcy April 22, 2017 11:06 AM

I agree with your first paragraph, but I'm afraid I can't agree with your second. These globalist people are evil. The ones at the top, that is to say. The hangers-on are merely insane. The evil ones, who do the bidding of the Evil One, will most certainly double down and try to brazen it out. My two cents.
