A troublesome staffer

"Will no one rid Hillary Clinton of this troublesome staffer?"
- John Podesta

It turns out that Seth Rich, the murdered DNC staffer, was in direct contact with WikiLeaks. It should be noted that MacFadyen's death is not suspicious, as he was 76 and died of lung cancer. Rich's murder, on the other hand, is not only suspicious, but is beginning to make sense.

An FBI forensic report of Rich's computer -- generated within 96 hours after Rich's murder -- showed he made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen, a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker, and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time, the federal source told Fox News.

“I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” the federal investigator told Fox News, confirming the MacFadyen connection. He said the emails are in possession of the FBI, while the stalled case is in the hands of the Washington Police Department.

The revelation is consistent with the findings of Wheeler, whose private investigation firm was hired by a third party on behalf of Rich’s family to probe the case. “My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” Wheeler said. “I do believe that the answers to who murdered Seth Rich sits on his computer on a shelf at the DC police or FBI headquarters.”

The federal investigator, who requested anonymity, said 44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments between Democratic National Committee leaders, spanning from January 2015 through late May 2016, were transferred from Rich to MacFadyen before May 21.

The utter lack of any investigation by the DC police has been an obvious tell for a year. Isn't it more blantant than the Foster non-investigation? At least there was a sham attempt by the Park Police. DC cops have just sat on their heels, no doubt because they were told to do so.

This would be a fine investigation for a new FBI director to order, flooded with vetted agents. Globalism must be fought in many ways, and lawfare against them is just one way.

True that the elderly guy was sick. But morphine has been used in the past to hasten death of terminal patients.

See the current QEII's own father as an example. It is rumored to this day that her father's death was hastened by the doctor in charge of the case.

No, I am not normally a conspiracy believer. But with this bunch, you have to look at the improbable as well. Sick or not, GM could have backed up Assange and made life uncomfortable for the DNC.

Ask yourself, why a "robbery" victim's home laptop was seized and analyzed by the police and/or FBI?

It's been night & day clear it was a hit-job since the beginning. There's a reason T_D keeps the story going. (Plus, well, the man was always either in a suit or clothes with the flag on it. He was killed for wanting an honest system.)

Blogger dc.sunsets May 16, 2017 11:51 AM

Dow >10,000? Scandals are added like bricks and boulders to a magnificent wall, greater than China's. Public appetite for them? LOW.

Down <10,000 (or <4,000)?

All those scandals will spill out to a public with an insatiable appetite for them. Given the bricklaying skills of the Bush/Clinton/Obama decades, THE growth industry of the future will be publishing the encyclopedia necessary to describe them all.

The rot of Enron was all put in place during the stock's rise. Only after it fell 90% did it all ooze to the surface. That's how these things work.

There are dozens of people with access to the facts of these cases. Publish today and be labeled a crank, a tinfoil hatter, or a partisan whore.

Publish when the mood is right and your name goes down in immortal history. And we know whose names are already at the printer for the chapter titled "INFAMY."

My worry is that Trump won't move fast enough or far enough to catch all the Dems responsible.

Blogger Junior May 16, 2017 7:36 PM

Occam's Razor says Seth Rich's murder is the simplest explanation for the Democrat Party's forced "Russian hacker's did it" meme. The evidence is circumstantial, and as usual the anonymous sources are ubiquitous, but it is strong circumstantial evidence--which is what wins in most jury trials.

1. It may be a matter of interpretation, but the collapse of Hillary's support in election 2016 can be dated to the Wikileaks DNC email dump that revealed the DNC was sabotaging the Bernie Sanders campaign. I am one of the many white male Sanders supporters who began taking a serious interest in Trump at that time, because despite Sanders' subsequent caving on issues such as immigration, originally he had much in common with Trump when it came to appealing to white working class males. Admittedly, this is my bias in this particular investigation.

2. John Podesta and the DNC are not dummies, they understood how much the Sanders revelations hurt them with the Democrat base. Therefore, there's a motive for killing Seth Rich, if he was discovered to be the leaker: REVENGE.

3. There's also another motive: Suppose Seth kept right on leaking?

4. Opportunity: People this high-up have access to hired killers.

5. Fake alibis: This is the essence of the "Russian hackers did it" meme, in particular Wikileaks DNC dump, which news sources have revealed the Clinton campaign began pushing hard after their unexpected and let's admit, very close loss.

6. As any one with a brain knows, there's no there there with the Russian-Trump conspiracy propaganda campaign. Trump put the whole thing to rest with a cruise missile strike on Syria last month.

7. The local Fox News affiliate in DC breaks the news that Seth Rich was indeed in contact with Wikileaks, confirmed by two sources, one named, one anonymous government official. It is further alleged that federal pressure put the kibosh on Rich murder investigation by the DC police.

8. Almost simultaneously, the Washington Post makes up a story that basically asserts that it's illegal for the president to say anything to the Russian ambassador that hasn't been cleared by Jeff Bezos, a failed attempt to re-ignite the Russian hackers did it meme.

9. I'm one of those people thinking that maybe Trump really is playing 4-D chess, the fourth dimension being time. Is it possible Trump fired Comey because the former FBI director refused to investigate Seth Rich's murder, among other alleged illegal activities connected to the Clinton Foundation and the DNC?

Let us pray that this matter comes before a court of law, where I believe justice in America still occasionally prevails.

Who killed Seth Rich?

I doubt Trump makes it through the summer. He's way in over his head and due to inexperience he's bound to make honest mistakes here and there which are going to be his undoing. It didn't help that he surrounded himself with all of his enemies.

The impeachment drums have been beating louder and louder over the past couple of weeks and the coordinated nature of it tells me that they're laying the groundwork. They don't need to actually prove anything, after all.

The only thing that will save Trump is if his supporters make it plainly clear that if he's taken out, there will be nationwide violence against government and media institutions.

Anonymous Überdeplorable Psychedelic Cat Grass May 16, 2017 9:12 PM

@86. He won't be impeached. Even if he is the Senate has to convict.

If all the above comes to pass they wouldn't even believe if they were told there'd be nationwide riots.

They don't even think he's legitimate as POTUS. Jeff Bezos' blog runs that butthurt tag line "Democracy Dies In Darkness."

Forget that we're a republic; Bezos is worried about Trump anti-trusting Amazon.

In short, concern trolling noted. Now frolick along.

They have to convince the House to call for impeachment and the Senate to convict him. Neither is going to happen. Do you really thin the right wasn't watching in the 1990's when not a single dem voted to convict a known rapist and perjurer?

Plainly clear to who? No one on the left will ever believe it, even once it starts.

@91 They have to convince the House to call for impeachment and the Senate to convict him. Neither is going to happen.

Ohh that's quite easy to happen. An overwhelming majority of the House and Senate do not like Trump. They never liked him. He's not one of them. And he's threatening to take away their Swamp. Many would beg for the chance to get Establishment Pence to replace him.

All the Dems would need is to convince enough Republicans from districts where they are solid for re-election (people like Paul Ryan, etc.), and to provide enough cover to make the idea of impeachment palpable. We're not talking about honest and honorable people here. And they are NOT on our side.

Do you really thin the right wasn't watching in the 1990's when not a single dem voted to convict a known rapist and perjurer?

Oh please. Democrats fight to win. Republicans bend over and grab their ankles. We have McCain and Graham and what's-his-cuck-face on TV all the time constantly undermining Trump every chance they get. How many Dems did that with Obama? Believe me, Republicans will fold like a deck of cards when the time is right.

If you're relying on Congress to get Trump's back, you're going to be disappointed.

Anonymous krymneth May 16, 2017 10:46 PM

If what this community generally believes to be true is true, then if you game it out, it isn't to their advantage to actually impeach Trump. A credible threat of impeachment backs him against the wall, and he might do anything, like forcibly declassify a lot of things and release them. Or straight up do a national conference and just lay it all out for people and hope he can dance faster and better than they do, while he is still President and holding the powers that come with that until he is impeached.

No, this isn't about actually impeaching him. I'm not even sure I'd say it's about attacking him. It's about keeping their own base in line by feeding them the confirmation bias the powers that be needed to stay in control of their base. Anything Trump does now can be "just because he's afraid of our totally-credible threat of impeachment".

Basically, at some point, some of the details are going to have to be made public, regardless of what damages it may do. Nothing else can peel the requisite amount of this base away, who are already trained to sell the lies out. Ultimately, to beat the lies, some Truth is going to have to be revealed, come what may.

If, on the other hand, what we believe to be true is in fact false, then hallelujah... but Trump will get impeached asap because he will in fact have nothing to stop that from happening. However, if that were the case, I would expect the impeachment drumbeat to have come earlier and louder, because there would be no particular reason to wait even this long. Something must already have been preventing that. If it isn't what this community believes it to be, then what is it? It certainly isn't decorum, decency, or restraint.

Oh, it ain't congress that I see backing Trump's play on this one, it's millions of pissed of rednecks who are just begging for a reason to shoot some city folk.

We won the election by the skin of our teeth, which we all rightly saw as our last chance to back the leftist mob away peacefully.

If said leftist think they can just "magically" snatch this electoral victory out from under us and continue on as before, backing us up against the wall in preparation for our elimination, they've got another thing coming.

We've been shit on for 30+ years, we're armed to the teeth, and we're all a little ornery to start with. I meet people every day who are just itchin' for a fight. As my pops would say, "If you congresscritters feel a little froggy, go ahead and jump."

Them fools in DC ain't got no idea of the scale of the shitstorm they'd be calling down if they impeached Trump. No idea at all. It would be Biblical.

Personally, I think all of this talk about impeachment is just that: talk. And that talk is slowly transforming into some form of autistic screeching with each passing day.

It's something I've noticed ever since the first attempt by Congress to "repeal" Obamacare. The Establishment (of either party) HAS NO PLAN FOR THIS SCENARIO. It is blatantly obvious to anybody willing to pay attention. Every single Democrat and Never Trumper is still under the delusion that Trump wasn't supposed to win the election, and he's actually doing what he said he was doing.

(And before the ship jumpers decide to jump all over me, a lot of this is still in flux and will take time before it's executed, so let us follow the Supreme Dark Lord's advice here and be patient. Things will happen when the conditions are optimal. We've still got 1330+ days left.)

Trump wouldn't be here if he knew that he couldn't do the job, or that he'd meet the massive amount of resistance from the Establishment that he's currently dealing with. And while many people don't agree with everything he's doing, it's a fair sight better than what we might have had. He knows that the long knives are out for him, but he doesn't care. The full frontal assault from the autistic crowd is becoming more tiresome by the day. If there was even a single reasoned argument from the opposition, then I could see there being a reason to be worried, but general complaints of bigotry, misogyny, and any other epithet ending in a y or ism is no basis to remove the man from the office.

Oh, they'll try to, though, and look like complete jackasses in the process. And wouldn't you know it? Trump still wins.

As for the unfortunate case of Mr. Rich, I get the concerns about the family not wanting people to dig too much into the weeds, but there's too much of a smell here to think that what happened to the man was anything other than an obvious hit. The fact that people aren't even trying to run from the circumstances of what happened is a little more than damning, too. It's painfully obvious that they think they'll be able to get away with it.

Maybe here. Other places...eh, not so much.

Blogger Cail Corishev May 16, 2017 11:28 PM

Right. I'd say it's also about trying to force a stalemate with Trump. "If you burn us, we will have nothing to lose by trying to impeach you with every lie and dirty trick we can think of." At the same time, if they do impeach him, he has nothing to lose by burning them. So they hope to get him to ease up and perhaps do what Republicans would normally do: turn it over to the bureaucrats or "impartial" investigators, perhaps a special prosecutor -- someone whose main concern will be to keep the scandal and the damage to the public trust as small as possible. They'll accept jail terms for some low-level grunts, maybe a couple of suicides, and some quiet early retirements, but the inner circle all skates.

That's what I'd normally expect to happen to any big conspiracy, doubly so one involving the Clintons. Two wildcards may change the odds this time, though:

1. President Trump himself. When he said "Drain the Swamp" and "Lock her up," did he really mean it? If so, can he be talked down by arguments of, "This is too big, it'll take down the whole government, not just the guilty, and keep you from doing the good things the American people elected you to do."

2. More importantly, Wikileaks, /pol/, and the whole open-source citizen investigation. That only grows as each new piece of information comes out. (r/The_Donald has been running "Never Forget Seth Rich" posts regularly since his death.) It's possible that, even if the president is convinced to back off, the publication of more and more details will force his hand anyway.

Anonymous CoolHand May 16, 2017 11:34 PM

I ain't advocating violence, I'm just pointing out that you cannot take from people who don't have anything left to give forever.

Once they've got nothing left to lose, they're gonna rightly conclude that maybe it's them other guys who need to know what loss feels like.

You gotta remember, they're the same people that fight feuds so old that nobody can even remember what they started over anymore.

What makes you think that folks who will kill one another over something neither one really even remembers anymore won't take to killin' outsiders whose offense is much larger/more infuriating, and fresh in the mind?

I really hope it doesn't happen that way, but it's not like you have to be super clairvoyant to see that one coming.

@78-"maybe Trump really is playing 4-D chess, the fourth dimension being time"

'Course, all chess is played in time.

As for #1, there's no way to date the collapse of the Clinton campaign, nor any way to determine whether there was a collapse at all. Because I don't trust any polling data, including the election. But one sure thing is that the dirty dealing against Bernie was the only Clinton scandal that got any play in the MSM, and that probably freaked out the campaign.

@97,

This seems to be not so much a wildcard for me, Trump models himself after Andrew Jackson:

"Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves."

Anonymous Looking Glass May 17, 2017 2:23 AM

@93 krymneth

Some of the GOPe are smart enough to know that in the safest Trump districts... they won't be safe. They're evil, but they're not as stupid as they act.

And this is all still about War Crimes in Syria. And Libya. That's what Benghazi was about. Trump really needs someone he can trust to be very quietly working on a declassification program. Publicly acknowledge "Autism Speaks", have a press conference, release 100k+ documents from the Obama Admin and let the /pol/s get to work.

If they want to strike from the shadows, call forth the Sun and let the vampires burn.

You're assuming facts not in evidence at two levels of inference deep.  The resource abundance that prompts a WASP couple to make babies is much greater than required by turd worlders, just for one thing.  But even at a reasonable 3:1 ratio, 19 million fewer Blacks means 6 million more Whites.

I'd rather get the down-side from doing what's right than get the upside from doing what's wrong.
What's wrong about letting NAMs abort themselves?  Encouraging them to do so?

No we don't.  We just have to deny them employment and government support; we can give them free or subsidized return as well.  Their countrymen will take care of the rest.

@71  Show me a Black woman with serious prospects of support by a marriagable man.  Those are perhaps 1 in 1000.

Cail Corishev wrote:Abortion used as birth control is part of the overall push for more responsibility-free sex and tearing down Christian morals throughout society.
Abortion was almost universally illegal in the early 1960's, yet Daniel Patrick Moynihan's analysis found 26% illegitimacy among Black mothers then.

We need more abortion for NAMs, not less.  LOTS more.  Don't worry, it's NHI.

Let the first abortion be a baby, and you affect future behavior.
Turn almost all NAM babies into abortions, and it ceases to matter.
