RIP Roger Ailes

No details yet. But it would certainly be remarkable were it to turn out that he was out partying with Chris Cornell after the Soundgarden concert.

UPDATE: Confirmed by wife.

The reaper's been busy. Who's the third?

Man,... They are falling like flies.

This is strange. What do you sources say about this? Foul play?

Anonymous Poli_Mis May 18, 2017 8:39 AM

From the looks of him, I would say saturated fats are his killer.

What do you sources say about this? Foul play?

No. He was 77 and obese. I'd say he had a pretty good run.

Blogger SemiSpook37 May 18, 2017 8:45 AM

@1

That's my question. All bets are off if someone like Ailes went after a guy like Cornell.

My first inclination is to suspect Bear Bryant's Disease. What was keeping him alive was removed, so he died.

Blogger YIH May 18, 2017 8:48 AM

I don't think it was an OD this time.

Same here, who's #3 going to be? Dead lizard maybe? Maybe?

That and he had his work taken away. Men who don't have things to occupy themselves with in old age tend to deteriorate quickly.

I use Ixquick/Startpage as home page & searcher. It often queries Gaggle for info. As of right now, it can't seem to find even one story on Roger's death. Total fail.

Fingers crossed for John Podesta.

Anyone else think this smells suspicious? 77 and obese yes. a few months after leaving Fox news with lots to tell? hmm.

Odd, Daily Mail tweeted it just about the same time Vox posted this.

Could Artie Lange be next?

FIYAAAH!!

The problem with ambiguous grammar is, I can't tell whether it was his wife or yours who confirmed that he was out partying with Chris Cornell after the Soundgarden concert.

Anonymous Dyskord May 18, 2017 10:20 AM

Yeah, they killed him when they took away his purpose.
Me-Again Kelly killed Ailes.

Anonymous Ain May 18, 2017 10:30 AM

@12, yes, very. They do like to sacrifice their own, especially once they can no longer perform their task. Of course, it could be bad health and obesity, but the suspicion is there.

Chris Cornell was so unbelievably good looking in the early SG days. Not many left from those days.

Re: Cornell

Turns out that spewing and believing Godless nihilism takes its toll on the psyche.

Who'da thunk it?

I didn't know he was scheduled to testify against Hillary.

Re: Cornell... Here's a guy who at a young age had the world handed to him on a platter, he watched Andrew Wood overdose, then Layne Stayley (AiC), Curt Cobain, Kristen Pfaff (Hole), Shannon Hoon (Blind Melon), Bradley Nowell(Sublime), Johnathan Melvoin (Smashing Pumpkins), John Baker Saunders (Mad Season), Wes Berggren (Tripping Daisy), and Scott Weiland (STP) you'd think he'd have learned to stay away from the stuff, unless of course, he just didn't care. I find it tragic on an eternity level, but it's hard to be in tears for the one's who walk zombie-like into self-destruction. Pearl Jam's members seem to have found their way out of the cycle, but man it's like Alternative Rock songs couldn't be written without a large dose of heroin.

@20 Thanks for your bravery in looking below the surface and into the depths of the situation.

18 months ago. Take a guess at the cause of death.

"No. He was 77 and obese. I'd say he had a pretty good run."

There's the plausible deniability.

Anonymous MongoJimmy May 18, 2017 4:56 PM

Legacy media was saying Cornell hung himself. You'd think he would OD on smack like a proper rock star. Not a fan myself, but pretty darn grim any way you slice it.

Blogger Troy Lee Messer May 18, 2017 10:54 PM

Like David Carradine hung himself?

Ailes falls more like a MOAB than a fly.

Anonymous Hezekiah Garrett May 19, 2017 12:12 AM

Wait, his wife confirmed he was partying with Connell?
