White House in shut-down mode

Mike Cernovich reveals the real reason why Washington is freaking out, and why there is a major investigation into the leaks:

"The reason the White House went nuts about the Washington Post story: The person who leaked that story to the Washington Post leaked WAY MORE information than Trump actually talked about, including information necessary to identify the sources. Everyone is spooked."

Mike says not to believe any of the media claims to have sources, because no one in the White House is talking to anyone outside anymore because the leaks to the Washington Post burned the intelligence sources.

He doesn't know who the source is, but his three leading theories are that the source was Kris Bauman, the National Security Council advisor on Israel-Palestinian matters. The second possibility is David Laufman, the Chief of Counterespionage at the FBI, an Obama donor responsible for clearing Hillary Clinton on the "independent" email probe. And the third is McMaster, Petraeus's protege.

Mike ranks the likelihood this way:
  1. Laufman
  2. McMaster-Petraeus
  3. Bowman
Andrew Napolitano explains the legal perspective:
Under federal law, the president can declassify any secrets, even the most highly sensitive and guarded ones. He can do so by whispering the secret into someone’s ear or by formally removing the secret from its classified status. But because he did not do the latter, the secret is still a secret — yet The Washington Post has this material and may now legally reveal it.

How can a newspaper reveal a top secret that the president has not made public? If someone reveals the secret to the newspaper, it can. The person who did so in this case committed a felony, and the president is right to be angered over it. That person is probably a member of the intelligence community bent on frustrating or destabilizing or controlling the Trump presidency. Because that person gave it to the Post and because there is enormous public interest in knowing what Trump told the Russians, the Post is free to publish it.

Burn the Swamp. I think it would take less than a dozen public crucifixions to end these leaks.

Anonymous basementhomebrewer May 18, 2017 8:10 AM

Trump needs good men around him. He also needs good men in the DOJ and FBI. I like what Sessions has been quietly doing with immigration prosecutions but I think GE needs to tell Sessions to shift his focus.

#1) He should be finding trust worthy people in DOJ and FBI who really are all about law enforcement and going where the facts lead.

#2) Turn them loose on Pelosi, Schumer, McCain, Graham, Durbin etc. They have all been power brokers long enough that they have at the very least engaged in pay for play and likely have done much worse.

#3.)Ruthlessly prosecute any bureaucrat that interferes with the investigation or leaks details on all applicable charges.

Trump is going to have to clean the rats out before he can go back and focus on doing the job he was elected to do. The uni-party has declared war and the administration is going to have to respond in kind if they want to advance their policy agenda.

Anonymous VFM #6306 May 18, 2017 8:12 AM

The problem is that the leakers are pedos: ie they are dug in. There is nothing the administration can do to them that is worse than their handlers can do. That has got to be why they are being so brazen about it: if they are caught, they get fired or maybe jail at worst. If they don't leak, they get the Seth Rich Special.

Don't forget the staffers and assistants. Weed them out, after seeing who has access to the sources or who's "entrusted" to retrieve data for the Big Cheese.

Many are With Her, from the correct schools with correct degrees and faculty, the correct attitude, and with the correct contacts. I loathe these self-important children. Few of them have a clue about the ugly side - expose an intel source, and quick death for the source (only) might be the best outcome. Worst - not going there this morning.

Weed, root, then burn. Crucifixion with Sousa marches on an endless loop in their earbuds, and a latte just out of reach.

This pushed most of my buttons.

Good. It shouldn't take a pack of geniuses to plant some false rumors and see which ones come out. It's not like that's a new concept.

I'll take their word for it that they couldn't just fire everyone on day one, the way we would have liked. But it's not day one anymore, and at some point, to have actual Obama donors still around, is just setting yourself up. Get rid of them.

It is at times like these that I ask myself "What would Vlad Tepes do?" They only way the swamp creatures will know fear is for them to see in concrete terms that their actions have consequences.

Crucifixion is too good for them. Most of them should be impaled alive and set oy naked in the public square to be mocked and ridiculed. Crucifixion sets them above the crowd and will feed their ego.

Trump needs to survive, but at the same time he needs a team to be finding credible candidates to run against these Derps in their own districts. Some are pretty untouchable, but most are at risk if 1) a credible candidate is available to run against them and 2) Trump actively campaigns for them and helps them raise funds.

Which means we're talking about building another party because the GOP will be opposed to this.

Is there the possibility of the Freedom Caucus becoming the foundation of a new nationalist party? "Hundreds of Trump loyalists hold positions as Schedule C Federal Employees which are temporary and expire after 120 days. We are at the eleventh hour of these expiration’s and fewer than 15% of temporary appointees have been given permanent positions.

Via Cernovich Media:

Johnny DeStefano, head of personnel and policy for President Donald Trump, has blocked Trump supporters from the White House, twenty-three people with directly knowledge of hiring and personnel have reported to me.

Over 800 Trump supporters hold positions as Schedule C Federal Employees. These positions are temporary, and expire after 120 days.

Fewer than 15% of Trump’s temporary appointees (Schedule C) have been given permanent positions. Their terms are coming up, and they are being sent home."

I know these bastards. I know how they think. I know what motivates a leftist. I have seen their true face. I have known it for nearly 30 years, and now Trump sure as hell knows it. You cannot trust these people period. I have no doubt that could he go back in time to day one of inauguration, he would follow my suggestion to fire every Obama (or any other leftover from Bush-Clinton-Bush) appointee in the Executive Branch.

In the future, and non-Democrat that lets Democrats hang around in his/her administration is an effing idiot. The left must be recognized, and treated, like the scum that they are. I used to think the answer was in founding a new party. BUT it may be preferable to TAKE OVER the Republican Party and transform it into our image. The GOP network and assets would be tough to duplicate with a new organization but all of it becomes OURS when the AltRight begins to usurp the present leadership. As well, I am all for "stealth" in this regard: 'Speak' like a GOP loyalist BUT act as an AltRight insurgent. Oftentimes, the first iteration of something is nothing but a foothold; it is the second iteration that comes to dominate the market.

Time and again, we see this. In industry, where one or more innovators get 80-90% to market, or get there but lack but a single core element (like a distribution channel), then along comes a copycat who all but steals their idea(s) and executes a successful plan. Whose name is remembered? Bell. Edison. Examples on the NYSE too numerous to list.

As I've said before, Trump's election is a signal that the old Narrative is breaking down, not that it's already gone. Money still appears to rule Congressional races. Unless markets are in Full Meltdown Mode between now and 2018, the Cuck-central (Congressional GOPers) will return to their offices in 2019.

If markets (and the social mood they measure) are well down by the mid-term primaries, the GOP could directly tap the US Treasury to fund political ads and it won't stop a tsunami of Throw-the-BUMS-OUT!

In the meantime, the political theater is entertaining. AFAIK, we're all just interested bystanders at most.

I'm surprised Trump hasn't eliminated the top level leaks yet. He can't fire 90% of executive branch employees. Isn't practical. But Trump's business habit of bringing together a broad coalition of opposing viewpoints doesn't work in the White House. They are enemy agents. Time to show them the door. Or a firing squad. He really needs to have another rally to get a sense of the mood. If he started helicopter rides for the Deep State his poll numbers would skyrocket.

Has to be dealt with in waves. You can clean out the first layer, but each new round of hiring comes with its own problems. It was always going to take time. Unless he went to Mar-A-Lago and then dropped a Nuke on D.C. (Something about 1/2 the country would probably cheer for.)

I realized something in a discussion the other day: someone set about drastically upping the Price that politicians were demanding for support. They're all really cheap dates, so someone, somewhere deep in the Swamp, put a lot of thought & work into driving the Lobbying prices way, way up.

Yes, he most certainly could have. Do you think the controversy from the left would be anything worse than what is already going on had Trump cleaned house day one?

What is practical? Leaving in place enemy agents who will do everything they can to harm and sabotage you, or cleaning out the nest of vipers before you get bit?

Anyway, the left is forcing the issue of their own dismissal from the Executive Branch through their completely predictable actions. Had the GE done this day one we could have saved about four months of bovine feces.

@25 Looking Glass, decades ago Rand Corp published a study examining how much money was spent to lobby (i.e., buy) congressmen. Given how much swag was in play, the study expressed astonishment that congressmen were available so cheap.

I suspect that in the final frenzy of looting while normalcy depends, practically all efforts are now invested in jockeying for the game's pot, and zero is invested in actually producing more capital (which is a sucker's bet.) When this phase is over and there's an open perception that the quantity of loot is shrinking, the war within the Bureaucracy and the Industrial-Congressional-K-Street complex should be EPIC. The CIA vs the NSA vs .mil vs the Permanent Bureaucracy vs Wall Street vs Goldman-Sachs vs. all the industries wholly addicted to Federal spending (Medical, Higher Ed, Welfare Admin) promises a limitless amount of popcorn-munching.

That means it is close to an open secret, and by dropping a subpoena on the right person at the Bezos blog, the name of the leaker could be found. Right here is a very good reason to get Comey's replacement hired and up to speed very soon. Plus that replacement needs to clean out 0bama moles in the FBI within 30 days.

If you have any device that stores classified media, or any device attached to a device that stores classified media, then those devices become classified. Even monitors. Even cables. Yes, you can wind up with classified cables, this has happened.

So I've often entertained this notion, were I god-emperor: when the NYT and/or WaPo go around publishing classified material, what's to stop me from seizing their presses? What's to stop me from seizing all of the internal computer network used to prepare those presses? The webservers which store this data for Internet publication? Because, by the letter of the law, ALL of these devices became classified the moment classified intel got into the mix.

I would seize the presses, then start empanelling grand juries to go after the editors, reporters and leakers. And I seriously doubt based Americans would do anything but cheer me on. God, those two papers, those pipe organs of corruption, are so roundly despised by most Americans for their generation of perfidy, lies and manipulations.

The other thing Trump and his staffers would be well advised to do is bring back "Fake News". The media hated that rhetoric and it dismissed all their non-stories in one short phrase.

Someone at the White House told them to quit using it because it was making the media angry. At this point, who cares? they are coming at you with everything anyway. Every question about Flynn or Russia needs to be responded with "That is fake news". It would be highly effective and would resonate with middle America.

It's not stupid, actually. Did you know that Apple's lightning cables have chips in them? Remember how many people were shocked to find out their smart-TVs were monitoring and reporting the content displayed on them? Seeming dumb devices are a key point of compromise. These security rules have an origin, often based upon actual INCIDENTS.

It's a deadly serious business. Which is all the more amazing to anybody who's familiar with it that Hillary Clinton got a free pass by Comey, Obama and the Dem/press establishment for the outrageous, flagrant, serial violations of the Espionage Act that would land you in Leavenworth in a single cell for the rest of your life. @31 Faceless

Decimation was the Roman way. God's way of doing things is different and it's found at Numbers 25. Crucify the leaders before the assembly of the people. If you read that passage notice that Moses refused to do it so God sent a plague that killed 24,000 in one day. Not because the people sinned, but because Moses refused to obey. The end of the story was how we got Phineas Priests.

Nobody seems to understand that the sons of Levi became the tribe of priests when Moses came down off the mountain, saw the people worshiping a golden calf and called out "Who is for the Lord?" It was the sons of Levi who answered and Moses said "kill them."

Thus, the Levites (priests) were the ones who killed you for violating God's Law. Of the Levites, it was only the descendants of Aaron who were the Aaronic priesthood (high priests). It is the descendants of Aaron's grandson Phineas who are the Phineas priests. God said it was an everlasting covenant to Phineas and his descendants, so reasonably one should expect that we still have Phineas Priests among us today.

THEY HAVE NO ACTUAL PLAN TO DEAL WITH TRUMP. THEY DID NOT EXPECT IT TO GET TO THIS POINT.

It actually frightens me that I agree with DENNIS KUCINICH on something, yet here we are.

I think the actual expectation of the Swamp dwellers was that Trump would allow the moderates to settle in and take control, and just let him whore himself out for the attention. Problem is, the Presidency does have actual roles, responsibilities, and EXPECTATIONS as outlined in Article II of the Constitution. Trump didn't run for election because it meant the media had to pay attention to him; he did it because there are things that need to be fixed, and he's determined to do so.

Problem is that this approach affects the entire gravy train that the Swamp dwellers have grown overly accustomed to, and heaven forbid, we can't have that.

The duly elected President of the United States and the Constitutional structure of our government are under attack by traitorous criminals in both wings of the Washington Party, the national news media, and members of the judiciary. This is nothing less than an attempted coup d'etat, a blatant and arrogantly overt effort to subvert what remains of the Constitution and impose the agenda of collectivist thugs who intend to destroy the country and subjugate its population.

Many years ago as an enlisted man I took a solemn oath. Millions more have done so since. That oath is as follows:

(a) Enlistment Oath.— Each person enlisting in an armed force shall take the following oath:
"I, (state name of enlistee), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

It is time to fulfill that oath. We should put all of those who are participating in the effort to overthrow the President on notice that they pose an existential threat to peace and freedom and, should they persist in this effort, they should not expect to die a natural death.

Speaking of that, something he could try would be to reach out to business leaders in the middle of the country. There are many very talented people in fly-over country who would not go out of their way to volunteer to work for Trump, but would be willing to serve if called upon. Those people are also not as likely to be opportunists or cucks since they weren't jockeying for power.

@54, Semispook37.. good points. Your comment made me ponder. Obama was like a prince. All show and parties and dithering here and there. So the layers-deep folks all around up there in DC kinda got to run stuff, and since everyone was mostly on the same page, a LOT of executive initiatives probably came out of conference calls and huddled meetings. So for 8 years, the swamp folks have gotten used to this dynamic.

Now , not only did the worst person in the world ( to them ) get elected by the dirt people, BUT he's actually trying to exercise authority and has the gall, the gall, to drive the ship of state!.. and UNDO a lot of what all the smartest progressives EVER came up with the last 8 years.

heh.

A good supply of slow poisoned cocaine flooding DC and NY might have that effect.

I wonder what would happen if cocaine was cut with lyophilized CJD prions?.....

@63 Grayman

While brilliant, the one issue with CJD prions is that you need a specific set of genetic markers for it to be effective. Cows all have that; humans do not. But I like the thought line, as the exposure would be real low yet everyone that partakes is a goner.

@62 RobM

Obama was ambitious, massively, but he also had zero direction. After securing his win in 2012, he really had no initiative of any measure. Pretty much nothing that wasn't put in place in the early days of his first term was really worked on. He was there to guard the Swamp and soak up the plaudits.

It wasn't until after we got a bit away from the election that I realized just how little he actually did, in the practical sense. Even with the entire UniParty behind him. He's the guy that made it to the corner office then sort of started phoning it in.

Now Trump is talking about Joe Lieberman as FBI Director. Is Trump for real? He has willingly brought his own enemies into the administration. That is because Trump is an honorable man and has difficulty accepting that many people are without honor.

@66 Robert What?

Mitt Romney is a great SoS, isn't he?

Basementhomebrewer,

Absolutely. I'd love to get a call from the 202 area code asking me to serve my country again, this time against the real enemy.

"So Cerno is saying that the reason the swamp is scared is due to oversharing by the leaker. So much oversharing that the leaker could be burned by info given to the Bezos blog.

Paging Jeff Sessions. Paging AG Sessions. Pick up the clue phone stat. Clean up on Aisle B."

Mueller, as special counselor, can look into any matters that resulted from the campaign and election. That doesn't just mean the Russian nonsense. It also means the Hitlery campaign too. We'll see how this goes.

Like I said the other day, there was a database gathered after the election...and some of us already have clearances too...

"Some are pretty untouchable, but most are at risk if 1) a credible candidate is available to run against them and 2) Trump actively campaigns for them and helps them raise funds.

Which means we're talking about building another party because the GOP will be opposed to this."

Start an active and targeted recall campaign...right f'ing now. Go right down the swamp monster list starting with McCain. Who the hell votes for him anyway? Seriously, who?

Blogger JWM in SD May 18, 2017 7:33 PM

"Time to show them the door. Or a firing squad. He really needs to have another rally to get a sense of the mood. If he started helicopter rides for the Deep State his poll numbers would skyrocket."

As I've been saying, the witch needs to be burned...and you all know who I'm talking about. Que Sessions Warhammer Heretic meme.

Why? It has to start somewhere or you can best just write off Trump right now dumbass. It can and MUST BE DONE!

Burn the witch or we head into WROL faster than you will anticipate. People are watching this scenario play out and they getting anxious.

Just watched Trump press conference with leader of Colombia.

Here is a quote:

Walls work. Just ask Israel. We have no choice

He is focused. All that other shizzle is water off a duck's back ( or should that be frog?). It should be water off yours as well.
