Defiance will be answered

The Trump administration cancels visas from countries attempting to nullify deportation of their nationals:
The Trump administration announced Wednesday it has ordered the State Department to limit certain visas for Cambodia, Eritrea, Guinea, and Sierra Leone because those countries have refused to accept the return of its nationals who are deported from the United States.

"International law obligates each country to accept the return of its nationals ordered removed from the United States," Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Elaine Duke said in a statement. "Cambodia, Eritrea, Guinea, and Sierra Leone have failed in that responsibility. The United States itself routinely cooperates with foreign governments in documenting and accepting its citizens when asked, as do the majority of countries in the world. However, these countries have failed to do so, and that one-way street ends with these sanctions."

"American citizens have been harmed because foreign governments refuse to take back their citizens. These sanctions will ensure that the problem these countries pose will get no worse as ICE continues its work to remove dangerous criminals from the United States," said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Thomas Homan.
And if that's not enough, up the ante and start taxing their corporations active in the USA. That is the one thing that terrifies every country; being blocked from access to the US market. This is smart. No foreign country should be permitted a veto over US domestic policy.

What people don't realize is this has been federal law for over a decade! Trump is simply fulfilling his oath to execute the laws on the books. Bush 43 and Barry didn't want to do any of this. This can be applied to the ChiComs too, since they don't take back their citizens that don't have passports.

Every foreign country caught attempting to interfere with domestic US policy (legislative, executive or judicial) should have any capital flows to it taxed. Heavily.

Given Mexican rulers' behavior, the wall would be fully funded in a few short weeks.

Deportees convicted of violent crimes should be placed on a bounty list, with murder, rape, armed robbery or assault with a deadly weapon meriting a "Dead or Alive" complement to the sliding scale of payments for turning them in. If their home country won't take them, out of self-preservation they'd better exhibit the same creativity getting out as they displayed getting into the USA.

The devil, as always, is in the details. Snippets from the linked Washington Examiner report (emphases edded):

The Trump administration announced Wednesday it has ordered the State Department to limit certain visas for Cambodia, Eritrea, Guinea, and Sierra Leone because those countries have refused to accept the return of its nationals who are deported from the United States.

"International law obligates each country to accept the return of its nationals ordered removed from the United States" ... Elaine Duke. "Cambodia, Eritrea, Guinea, and Sierra Leone have failed in that responsibility. ..."

"American citizens have been harmed because foreign governments refuse to take back their citizens. These sanctions will ensure that the problem these countries pose will get no worse as ICE continues its work to remove dangerous criminals from the United States," ... Thomas Homan.

State Secretary Rex Tillerson has told U.S. consular officers in the four countries to impose visa restrictions on certain categories of applicants. These restrictions will be determined on a country-by-country basis.

"The U.S. Embassy in Cambodia has discontinued the issuance of B visas (temporary visitors for business or pleasure) for Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees, with the rank of Director General and above, and their families. The U.S. Embassy in Eritrea, has discontinued the issuance of all B visas (temporary visitors for business or pleasure)".

"The U.S. Embassy in Guinea, has discontinued the issuance of B visas, F, J, and M visas (temporary visitors for student and exchange programs) to Guinean government officials and their immediate family members". "The U.S. Embassy in Sierra Leone, has discontinued the issuance of B visas to Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials and immigration officials."

If the countries continue not to cooperate with the U.S., the State Department will expand the visa sanctions to additional visa groups in that country. Tillerson will wait to lift sanctions until Duke confirms each one is cooperating.

In mid-August, DHS said it had submitted a letter to the State Department asking for visas to some citizens in those same four nations be suspended.

While a presidential candidate, Trump promised to take more action to get countries to take back people the U.S. sought to deport. Eight of the 20 countries that had fought the change are now working with the U.S. government to take back their citizens.

ICE has had to release 2,137 Guinean and 831 Sierra Leone nationals, "many with serious criminal convictions," because their home countries refused to accept them back, according to the DHS release.

Similarly, the Eritrean and Cambodian governments refused to issue travel documents for its citizens to be transported back. ICE was forced to free 700 illegal immigrants from Eritrea and 1,900 Cambodian nationals.

It's not a blanket cancellation, but a limitation of certain types of visas for certain classes of people. (Note that none of the cheap-labor visas so beloved of Republicans are in play here). It's a very miniscule step in the right direction, which in no way undoes the far more serious harm done by allowing 2,137 Guinean and 831 Sierra Leone nationals (many with serious criminal convictions), plus 700 illegal immigrants from Eritrea and 1,900 Cambodian nationals being set free to roam the country, collect welfare, carry out crimes - including murder, armed robberies, child rapes, etc. Why are alien criminals being still being released? They could be charged with terrorism and hauled off to Gitmo or any number of other facilities worldwide and held there indefinitely. Either Trump's promises are just more lies from a politician or he's essentially powerless, despite being the nominal commander in chief.

So the worst offender of the four named countries, Guinea, gets the lightest "punishment". 2137 Guineans (many with serious crimes committed) are turned loose by ICE on the streets because "they had to" and the wrist-slap which results is:

"The U.S. Embassy in Guinea, has discontinued the issuance of B visas, F, J, and M visas (temporary visitors for student and exchange programs) to Guinean government officials and their immediate family members".

In other words, Guinean government bureaucrats don't get to go to Disneyland with their extended families of wives and concubines this year - guess they have to go to Paris Disneyland instead. Nor do they get to send their offspring to Haaavahd, Yale and similar places to help the owner/operators fill their affirmative-action diversity slots so folks like (((Dershowitz))) can drone on about YT Rayciss. So sad. The dons of the Guinean kleptocracy are no doubt quaking in their jackboots from such terrible chastisement ... from gales of laughter.

more grandstanding from Trumpenthal. Here are the facts that matter:

deportation of illegals since Trumpenthal became Prez is running at LESS THAN HALF the average (300,000/year) deported by Obama.

meanwhile, crowds of new illegals continue to cross the non-existent "border" with Mexico each and every day...and Trumpenthal has served notice that his "wall" will actually consist of "repairing and refurbishing the exiting walls and fences".

anything else about President MAGA? Yes: he and Tillerson, via the State Department's "refugee resettlement" racket, have more than doubled the weekly insourcing of stone-age Muslim shitskins from Somalia.

anything else? yes: Trumpenthal and his long-time political crony (((Schumer))) have just signaled amnesty for the "Dreamers"...and all the other Spic illegals.

@lovekraft. According to one story, there was a very interesting reason for the whole, oh-yeah-the-Saudis-had-a-hand-in-911 deal.

According to this story, as a result of the lawsuit the U.S. froze all of the Saudi treasury bonds, all 3/4 of a billion dollars of them. This was revealed by the Saudis going to the IMF for a comparatively measly $10 billion loan. They could have sold just over 1% of their bonds to get that much.

So, in case the Saudis were thinking of dumping their treasuries as part of stepping away from the dollar to the yuan, it won't happen.

I'm not sure if this is true but it seemed pretty bizarre that U.S. courts would suddenly allow citizens to sue Saudi Arabia. This might explain the real reason why.

These types of actions along with Trump suddenly talking about "radical Islamic terror" again are just Trump trying to distract from his Amnesty sellout.

With so much craziness, we can't lose sight of the facts: Trump agreed to Amnesty for 6 million and no wall. He himself explicitly confirmed as much on 2 separate occasions on Thursday. The walk back only happened after massive backlash. There is no question he will try to sell us out again.

Trump has become a liability and we have got to get rid of him ASAP. Do not let him distract you with boob bait while he gives Amnesty to 6 million.

"Trump agreed to Amnesty for 6 million and no wall."

This is why I welcome the shilling as an indicator that helps me tell what's really going on. If the news were truly as bad as they want us to think, they wouldn't have to include blatant lies in it; it would be enough to report the truth. They lie to try to stampede Trump supporters into overreacting before the scenario can play out.

Anonymous Otis the Sweaty September 16, 2017 10:43 AM

I am not a shill. I have been a strong Trump supporter since 2015.

1. On Thursday, Trump twice explicitly said "no Wall". He himself said it 2 times. What else do you need?
2. Trump's spokeswoman said DREAM Act and not just residency for 800,000 invaders was the plan. The DREAM Act is Amnesty for 6 million plus unlimited chain migration.
3. Trump went on Twitter and then praised the DACA invaders in a way that could have come from Jeb or Rubio.

The best case you can make for Trump is that he was bamboozled and that is undoubtedly what happened. But that doesn't make the betrayal any less real. Only do to overwhelming backlash has Trump backtracked. First he said that a Wall was mandatory and 2nd he said we needed to curb chain migration. Huckabee Sanders said that we were also looking for the RAISE Act and internal security as well, although those sound much more like negotiating ploys.

The fact of the matter is that Trump sold us out. We don't have to wait and see because it already happened. An agreement was struck with Pelosi and Schumer on Wednesday night. Trump has since backed off but only thanks to the pressure we put on him and on Congressional Republicans.

I have supported Trump in the past, I want to go back to supporting him, but I can't support 6 million new Democrat voters plus 36 million new chain migrants. That is what Trump agreed to, end of story. If we do not keep the pressure on, Trump will betray us again and that will be the end of his Presidency.

If you want Trump to be successful, you need to keep the pressure on. Make your discontent known on social media and call your reps.
