Magic Dirt Fail in LA

Carolla: Those people have done their best to fuck up everything they can. School system is fucking unusable. Barbed wire around every freeway side. Gangs tagging fucking Nature, rocks and trees. It's a traffic nightmare. Basically, the stuff that God did, several million years ago? That's the good part of LA. Everyone else is getting their head kicked in at Dodger Stadium. But as far as the city planners, and the mayor and all that, you guys have fucked up everything you've touched. Plate tectonics gets an A+ from two-whatever Zooic era, when everything shifted, and turned, and we thawed. I've lived here my whole life and it's now shit.

Rogan: I've only lived here since 1994, but it's been a big difference.

Carolla: It's essentially turning into Mexico, which is a shit place. No one wants to talk about this, but Mexico is a shitty place to live.

Rogan: It's the worst. It's one of the worst places in the world.

Carolla: So the deal is, we can absorb, as a society, X amount of folks from Mexico a year before we turn into Mexico too. If we turn into Mexico, then we're a shit joint too.

Magic Dirt does not work. The real Alt Right, the nationalist True Right, is inevitable.

Not surprised at Corolla. Kinda surprised that was Rogan's take. Good for him.

Anonymous Tipsy September 12, 2017 1:07 PM

Carolla also talks about how the police will give you a ticket for going 5 mph over the speed limit on a major LA city street, while ignoring the food vendors throwing trash in the road.

In other words, they target the largely law abiding class for fines, while letting the largely law ignoring class do what they want. That's not a recipe for societal harmony.

Careful with that assumption. Notice what he did and didn't say. He said Mexico was a shit place. He did not agree with Carolla's latter statement. If a lynch mob comes after Corolla, Rogan will not stick up for him and will separate himself from that last statement by Corolla.

I noticed this from the Milo dust-up and his latest interview with Weinstein and Peterson where he talks about acting like you agree to coax "the evil racists out".

Rogan gives people on the right a platform but do not trust him to back you up or agree with you when push comes to shove.

Yes, by comparison to every country higher on the civilization scale.

Rogan: It's the worst. It's one of the worst places in the world."

This, however, is not true. Mexico sucks *by comparison to the Anglosphere*, but not by comparison to, say, South Africa. Especially if you're a gringo.

That still act the same as they did in Mexico. And will continue to wave the Mexican flag. Just remember, Mexicans, like women, are the future. What a scary thought.

Right on Carolla. I didn't realize that he was born in North Hollywood. I can't imagine how it'd be to watch your city fall apart like that.

When I was a fed contractor in SoCal at Fort Irwin, I lived in Barstow (yes, I did!). My Spanish definitely kept m situation awareness on the up and up.

Closer to home, my ancestral hometown has gotten a huge influx of Mexicans. It makes me shudder remember going up there as a kid and never hearing Spanish.

I've been against further immigration into America since being a senior at college.

The government there is based on Marxist assumptions about human nature, and then they flooded the system with Hispanics. They can keep getting away with it in the rich white areas because they can price out the OTWs, but eventually those start to wear at the edges as well. Especially if they continue the "Coalition of the ascendant" crap.

Blogger Midnight Avenue J September 12, 2017 1:28 PM

Critical mass. You eventually recreate what you left behind when there are enough of you around.

Corolla raises a good point. People came here for something better, but they've undermined that something better by their sheer numbers and requests to not assimilate. Also, rich people with their kids in private schools are hypocrites. And maybe we shouldn't tolerate muds being muds and doing mud knocking up mud stuff. And gibs.

Walls are arbitrary but necessary. You can't celebrate difference and expect equality.

The expensive coastal areas of SoCal are nice. These areas are where the affluent limousine liberals live, much like the white ruling classes of Mexico and Brazil. It is very nice and upper middle class people can just barely afford to live there, providing they are dual income and have no kids. Kids are awfully expensive in SoCal if you want to raise them the "anglo" way.

The unwashed mestizo and native American masses live throughout the entire rest of the LA basin. The Chinese live in the San Gabriel Valley and along the I-10 corridor for 30 miles starting just east of downtown LA. The Persians (remember this is Tehrangeles) and other Asian Caucasians live in the San Fernando Valley (remember the Valley Girls, who are now mostly extinct?) and part of Orange County. Like Mexico, SoCal is probably quite corrupt by this time, and Asian Caucasians along with those Persians, are adept at thriving in corrupt societies. They are quite at home in early 21st Century SoCal. So you see, SoCal is quite the motley crew today.

The dream SoCal of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and of Van Hallen listening surfer dudes and beachbunnies is long gone, lost in the mysts of history.

As Glenn Reynolds is fond of putting it: This is not the 21st Century I expected.

Blogger Shimshon September 12, 2017 1:36 PM

I recently returned from my first trip outside of Israel in nearly 13 years. To LA, as it happens.

Mexicans were EVERYWHERE. Much more visible than 2005. In all the kosher establishments, Mexicans were formerly, when employed, cooks and cleaning crew, if that. They were practically the only employees at all today, even the manager. Cashiers, waiting tables, etc. The stores lost that family-owned-and-run vibe they used to nearly universally have.

There were more than a few help wanted signs too. I guess it's the work Jews won't do (or let their kids do) anymore.

Not only lefties but also many libertarians hold the fallacy the people are fungible--that an incoming group is more or less like the home population. I've lived in the LA basin since the late 1990s. Now in many places it IS Mexico, including the governmental corruption and blatant favoritism/leniency towards hispanics. Even the blacks are fleeing areas (or being forced out).

Over the 20 years here I have had to move farther and farther away from my job as the schools I had my kids in were overrun with Mexicans in the span of a few years and became worthless.

Non-Hispanic whites were 28% of LA County in 2010... and Persians, Armenians, and Jews are still counted as non-Hispanic white.

Actual European stock is most likely south of 20% there by now, as it is in NYC. The USA's two largest cities are literally as white-European as South Africa in the 1970s.

Lived in Socal for 30 years. It has gone straight to shit. If you are white and involved in a traffic accident and have no insurance, your car is impounded and you go to jail. If the Mexican/South American that hit you has no insurance the police let them go and let them keep their car. They often times don't even issue them a ticket. I have seen this happen way more than once. Everyone I know there has seen it happen. Add to that extreme overpopulation and becoming increasingly expensive. The schools are glorified day care centers where the non English speakers get all the teachers' attention and resources. Finally had enough and relocated my family back to Montana. I had despaired that places like this still existed. Every aspect of our lives are substantially better. I will never again live in a place where I am a minority. Ever.

Went through a rough financial patch years ago in SoCal and thought 'What the Hell, I'll apply for Food stamps, I've paid enough taxes. I should get some of that money back.' The Food stamp office was literally packed with Mexicans and South Americans unable to speak English. I was one of three white people in the whole place, the other two being a methed out white couple. As each person was called to the front, they were given extensive instructions in Spanish and guided to the next office to complete their application. When it came to be my turn, the Hispanic woman behind the desk glared at me, tossed me a packet of papers and said 'Fill this out.' No explanation, no guidance to the next office or step in the process, just a nasty look. I figured it out and was enrolled in the program. A month later a letter arrived saying that I needed to submit more documentation by a certain date or I would be dropped from the program. The deadline was the day before I even received the notification. We were dropped from the program. We reapplied and remained on the program for another couple months. During this time they pulled that same stunt again then had us comply with crazy ass and byzantine paperwork requirements. We finally let the whole thing lapse. I have two college degrees and own my own business. There is absolutely no way illiterate illegals and meth heads could possibly comply with all that crap. The system is not meant to be used by the people paying for it. Don't miss California at all. It is a failing State.

Knowing what has happened to LA is what has dragged me kicking and screaming away from civic nationalism. There may be pockets around the country where civic nationalism under the aegis of white European culture is still viable, but the southern California of the 1960's is dead and gone. I really think something nefarious is going on. Breitbart reports that the Calexit movement is backed by Putin. Mexico and the Mexican news media actively involves itself in California politics, knowing an independent California is not covered by the treaty of Hidalgo. The northern counties of California (and southern counties of Oregon) want to split off and form the State of Jefferson. The AG in California, Xavier Becerra, is in open rebellion against the Trump Administration.

The question is: how long before the political situation in California becomes unstable? What does history tell us?

I go home to visit every year during Christmas, and I can see the changes. It is depressing how such a nice state has fallen so far.

Stop being so dramatic!!! kill power to Socal and they have no water, no refirgeration, negligible medical care etc etc. within 1 week itwould be full on zombie apocolypse. 3 weeks without power and 50+% of the population is dead without a massive relief effort of some sort.

As wel say in Atlanta, a few crack heads with pipes in the right place and the major road ways come down. a few hillbillys with rifles can make it very difficult for high-tension power lines to remain functional....
A few fires start during the power outage period and there is no way to put them outin the middle of major civil unrest.

The majority of the SoCal population could be erased simply by cutting off the electrical supply, that is assumig you dont let them flee to neighboring regions..... but then the crack heads and their pipes taking out major roads reduces that risk.
Make sure you leave the door to the south OPEN.

Blogger Elocutioner September 12, 2017 3:11 PM

It's not really a matter of red state vs blue state, it's at the county/city level - Hillary's Archipelago. Deporting 1/4 of Mexico will help that somewhat.

I am not even sure the Italians have fully assimilated after 3 generations. We know the Blacks have not in 150 years. There is no reason to suggest that the Mexicans will assimilate.

My daughter started high school in Minnesota in a first tier suburb that 15 years ago was 90% white.

We went to orientation and at one point there were three non English languages being spoken around me. Large rafts of hijab cladded girls roamed the hallways, while the Somali males openly eyed the trashy white girls dressed like hookers.

It was quite a shock to me. I expect to see such scenes in Minneapolis, but now it is in the suburbs. Even the rural areas are not exempt, on a recent trip to the Iron Range of Northern Minnesota to visit my step son, I was shocked by the large Black population that was not there 10 years ago. My step son informed me that there are some places in Virginia, MN that are not safe to go.

I have never been a militant on the race issue, but honestly I do not like how this is playing out.

It used to be that elites would go out and conquer a country, install themselves as a governing veneer over the newly conquered land, and rule while extracting the wealth of the conquered.

But since the United States and W. Europe are so much materially better off than surrounding areas, the elite's new plan is to bring the conquered masses to our lands instead, and use the chaos to establish themselves as a governing veneer over the reverse-conquered territory, extracting the wealth of the area...

My father was born in Long Beach. By the mid-'80s, he would not willingly go back to Los Angeles. It had changed too much. He told me that San Diego was closer to the Los Angeles he knew.

Personally, I'm convinced that the real key is to take these "sanctuary cities" and declare them to be in rebellion against the United States. Without the cover of a Bill of Secession. Meaning that they can be subjected to the full wrath of the Armed Forces. Complete with full-scale deportations of illegals, and consignment of the rebellious ringleaders to the noose.

The US is too fractured socially.... we are more likely to see the nation break into regions on common culture/interest.

its not obvious unless you look at county level voting, but NYC is relativly surroounded by RED. its the wellfare and diversity crowds that turn the areas around NYC blue. The thin veneer of civlity cracks and those 2 groups wont have much pull. NYC is trivially isolated. It'd be interesting to see if if gets absorbed into a red region or possiblr just isolated and allowed to eat itself courtesy of diversity.

I recently enlightened a friend on this. He thought everyone just went down to the welfare office and filed an application, and they approved it based on merit and need. like it was some kind of weird coincidence it's all minorities on the dole. Ha.

I explained how the refugee scam works. The refugee "charity" is funded by taxpayer dollars and run by a church (Catholics or Lutherans) actively cucking their community. They have the paperwork pre-filled out and pre-approved, all they do is write the "refugee's" name down and file it. The somali automatically gets food stamps, a section 8 housing voucher (which they will invariably trash), a free car loan they will never pay back, a driver's license they didn't have to actually qualify for, a free phone, and straight cash payments; all just like that. And then they take over a neighborhood, destroy it, and then complain to us they live in filth THEY created, and demand more free shit. And they get it.

I'm definitely looking to move. The question is where.

The key is to bring back the old residency requirement laws. Most places used to require that you live there a certain amount of time (months or even years) before being eligible to vote. With modern recordkeeping, this can be tracked at Federal, state, and local levels...any citizen can vote for President, but only people resident in a state for three years can vote for state offices, and only people resident in a specific county for three years can vote for county offices.

Yea If you read Ace's book Not Taco Bell Material he talks about growing up kinda poor but is unabashed that his family was generally very lazy. He puts a premium on hard work himself. He's one of those rare exceptions as a comic where if he hadn't have made it he'd probably make a decent living because he's smart and learns useful skills. He came up in comedy while working construction and paying the bills. Basically talked about being half way dependable would set you apart.

He did move to Colorado for a while but his wife/gf bitched about actual nature (his dog got eaten by a mountain lion) and he went back. Living in Colorado a little while I can tell you the backup from out of state liberals gas made the native Boulder hippie types insufferable. See TJ Miller for example

There are two possibilities under our present form of government....

1) President Trump can simply take a page from the Lincoln Playbook and completely ignore the historic state government of California and recognize the state of Jefferson as the legitimate and lawful state government of ALL of California. (He did that with the state of Missouri.)

2) Another possibility would be to let them have the vote on Calexit, only to become a territory of the United States...like Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and US Virgin Islands. That would wipe out the entire California delegation from Congress and nullify all of California state law, which would be replaced by Federal territorial law, and the governor of California would be appointed by the president instead of elected by the people of California.

If you choose the first way, California remains a state, but the historic state government gets wiped out.
If you choose the second way, California is no longer a state, but it remains US territory.

Most Mexicans are indigenous Indians as were the Indians of the North Americas. The long belongs to them and whites must pay for their transgressions

Hey Bob, shall we take away all the modern things that we WHITES created and built that turned this into the U.S.? Shall we let these Indians you support go back to being tribal? Dressed in nicely tanned buffalo skins, with tribal warfare but NO guns and no medical care; no water pollution but also NO water system? And NO electricity, NO cars, no living indoors, no A/C, no nuthin' of modern civilization?! (And no casino money either, eh?) THAT is what they had!

Yes, it's sad that they lost their lands and way of life -- but THEY LOST! That's what happens -- throughout all of humanity! Only idiot Whites think we should feel sorry for the losers of the wars, and take them in and care for them as if they were children! (Lucky, in a way, that the Indians were such a formidable foe, that 'we' decided to 'lock them away' and NOT assimilate them. Not great for them, but probably better!)

If we transgressed (what foolishness!); then if we're going to 'take back' our transgressions, we must also take back all the benefits and improvements we made!

I could see the on-going changes while I lived there at the time. I also saw when I arrived in summer of '85 that the Valley Girl scene and Fast Times at Ridgemont High times were already fading away. However, when looking back on it, 1985 was the pivotal year when SoCal went from being the teen/youth paradise to being more the 20's and 30's young adult paradise, which is probably why I liked it so much at the time. Yeah I saw the MexiKaliForniKation (as you put it) of the place but didn't really think about the long-term implications of such.

in any case, I ended up living and working in Japan by summer of '91 as a result of a series of events, each of which equally unlikely, that started in spring of '89.

I know I'll never be a native, and my (God-willing) future children probably (definitely) won't qualify either, but I've already fallen in love with the South; and I can't stand the morons who leave their native states, come here to escape something about that state, then endeavor to turn this state into a perverse, monstrous facsimile of the very place they fled! I've had family in the High Desert since the 1930's. My father moved here in the late 70's after I went into the Army so my Mom could take care of her folks. My father commuted to Garden Grove where he was a machinist and made due just fine. And, didn't live in a sardine can sub-division, which, while they exist because of the building boom in the 80's and 90's, makes up only a small part of the High Desert. The 80's boom here actually started because of CHEAPER housing, which brought in most of the undesirables. It's not the homey desert I spent many summers in during my youth, but it certainly beats living down the hill.

Let me be the first to sound the alarm here: North Dallas is starting to show signs of californication. Several big companies have moved to the N. Dallas suburbs lately...and seem to have brought a bunch of their peons with them. (U.S. Toyota and Farmer's Insurance are but two examples.)

One effect has been a very huge inflation in housing costs--up into near-bubble territory, increased traffic, and the proliferation of weird restaurants selling strange food. I mean, who wants to eat Italian road-kill? Oh, it was "Italian Street Food", I remember now--gotta love a good euphemism. And everything has to have "ancient grain" (I swear) and kale in it. And weird sauces all over it.

Though I suppose the restaurant thing is more a sign of millenial culture than anything--still, we didn't used to allow that kind of thing here. Texas needs a wall! All around it.

Grayman is right. The SoCal problem changes shape if the power stops working. Adelanto Converter Station, Sylmar Converter station are two choke points which move a lot of electricity to SoCal. In a situation of civil unrest those would be vulnerabilities. Of course LADWP has local generation capacity which could keep some of the grid going. Some of it is associated with water pumping stations from local reservoirs as well. Civil unrest might target some of those if they were trying to cut off the water supply. But it is unclear how much redundancy is built into the system. At any rate, the more salient issue is what happens when Los Angelenos are trying to get out because there is ot water or power? Are there ways to bypass the main traffic arteries out of SoCal and get out of state by backroads? Because if there are then the zombie apocalypse is coming to a state near you.

The largely law ignoring class in a metropolitan area like L.A. tends to be disproportionately black and/or Latino (no doubt, due to the lower mean IQs of the aforementioned populations). Law enforcement don't target the law abiding class so much as avoid reprimanding the low IQ, disproportionately black/Latino, law ignoring class out of a fear of being accused of "discrimination" or "racism".

Leftoids seem to be unable to grasp the concept that people are not replaceable, and despite the failed experiment with homo sovieticus, are not easily malleable.

Some leftists are able to grasp it, if it is explained to them. They will then no longer be leftists any more, they will take the red pill.

Others are able to grasp it, but they are liers and will deny it, and they hate the society in which they live and wish to have it flooded with chaos and tear out the roots of what is good. They are evil and must be fought every step of the way. For example, George Soros is in this group. He knows exactly what he is doing. He grasps it completely.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to hear Joe "no-two-points of-view-can-be-so-diverse-that-I-can't-take-the-middle-ground" Rogan speak this way.

@sherwood family said "Sherwood family wrote:At any rate, the more salient issue is what happens when Los Angelenos are trying to get out because there is ot water or power? Are there ways to bypass the main traffic arteries out of SoCal and get out of state by backroads? Because if there are then the zombie apocalypse is coming to a state near you.

To answer your question- no.The Freeway infrastructure is such that the vast majority, (99.9%) of Angelenos will be stuck in place at the slightest hint of disorder. Many of those in the LA/OC/Riverside areas have multi hour commutes everyday to work or school. A bad wreck can gridlock traffic in a substantial portion of the metro area. On the average weekend traffic is gridlocked most of the way to Vegas and back. This is without the help of a major disruption.

Dear Bob, there are no indigenous peoples, only those who pushed out those before them through migration or violence or both. It has been going on forever. So cut the Bullshit or we will give you over to the Aztecs as a ritual sacrifice.

"Rogan gives people on the right a platform but do not trust him to back you up or agree with you when push comes to shove."

Figured that was his deal. Gonna stick with Alex Jones, Mike Cernovich, and occasionally McInes and Crowder. Don't always agree (especially with the later flaming Cruzbot whose now probably chomping at the bit to excuse Cabana boy from tweeting out smut), but hey, they're a lot closer to us than Rogan seems to be, however relatively friendly he is.

Mexicans move to California. Californians move to Washington and Montana. New Yorkers move to the South.
The downward demographic shift is bad enough, but keep in mind the shift in voting patterns as well.

Just remember this when Europe finally falls, and Europeans want refuge in the US.
You voted for your own downfall -- don't bring that scheiße here.

I love listening to Joe's interviews, and he's surprisingly smarter than what you might guess.
But One can always tell when his brain has reached full capacity:
"White flight? I like that."
Cmon man. It's an old cliche from God-knows when.

The western UP is still very nice although it is poor and old. Could use an influx of young tradesmen with families. We had to go 50 miles out to find someone to put up a fence, 15 miles to get someone to fix the dryer. Moved here from further south and it's like going back 30+ years.
