Alt★Hero on Cernovich

I was interviewed by Andrew Meyer of Cerno News last night. We discussed Alt★Hero, the Hollywood scandal, and whether or not the startling revelation that the Pussycat Dolls were high-end prostitutes is a reflection of the scandal's expansion into the music industry or not.

Speaking of Alt★Hero, we'll be adding a new Reward and a new Goal later today. The Reward is Ebook Novel #2, which will be available for $5. The Goal is a detailed map of Avalon, created by Chuck Dixon and an excellent cartographer, which will unlock at $125K.

Slightly off topic: That Rebel Comic cover has a resonating quality. There's much going on with it. I cannot stop looking at it. It's very good! I dare say it's they type of art that Sister Wendy would appreciate.

What's startling? I always assumed the PCD were prostitutes and the Suicide Girls were even worse.

Honestly it's far faster to search whoever's left that's good, rather than who else is dirty.

The Pussycat Dolls (cats and animal print are a symbol of sex slaves) is less of a revelation and more of a confirmation. The big difference between greatly talented people that don't "make it" and the lesser ones that do, is that the later puts out. That's the easy one. (The guys get used, too, and may explain the psychology of them tatting up to look ultra masculine and tough.) The stuff that would tear it all down is if the illegal activity starts getting out. There's a reason child stars often go off the rails when they get older, and it has nothing to do with the popular narrative of "they can't handle not being popular anymore."

It brings a dire meaning to the little poses celebrities always do with their fingers up to their lips, as if they're holding a playfully naughty little secret about the entertainment industry. There's nothing playful about it.

They're starting to report that some of the women watching Weinstein in the shower were 17 year olds. The slow rolling out of information reeks of damage control, but who's doing it? Maybe they really do know something big is coming, and they're trying to manage the ultimately unmanageable.

Still hoping for an option to upgrade figurine level from paperback to hardcover.

Kranz: Let's look at this thing from a um, from a standpoint of status. What do we got on the [culture] that's good?

"... startling revelation that the Pussycat Dolls were high-end prostitutes ..."

This is startling? Oh, yes, this is startling ...

I'm startled that anyone having anything to do with Hollyweird and the LA music scene isn't flamboyantly flamingly fabulous, that's how I'm startled.

That's because it seems that "edgy" in Hollyweird now means so pozzed that you need an urgent clinic appointment after seeing any recent film ...
