Vox Popoli: Moore will win

Translation: the full-press from the GOPe and the media dinged him a bit, but didn't seriously hurt him. At this point, his best bet is to simply ignore any attempts to get him to address the manufactured Fake News, dismiss it as dirty tricks, and focus on running his campaign to MAGA.

The intriguing thing is that whereas a Moore win would have hurt the GOPe, a victory in the face of their open opposition has the potential to break them entirely.

UPDATE: Meanwhile, in the alternate reality where the GOPe still matters and conservativism conserved the ladies room, Moore MUST DROP OUT NOW! BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

Republican Roy Moore is trailing Democrat Doug Jones by 12 points in the Alabama special Senate election, according to a poll conducted by the National Republican Senatorial Committee after five women accused Moore of pursuing them as teenagers.

They asked 12 Republican senators, Paul Ryan, and a homeless guy who believes the fish killed JFK.

I agree with Vox's assessment, as long as Roy holds firm he will win. If anything, I think that the attacks on him have hardened the resolve of many of the voters because they see it as a desperate attempt to derail him.

Catch-22: they have to seat Moore before they can bring him up on ethics charges. Before that -- even as a Senator-elect -- he is not subject to their jursidiction:

If Moore dated an 18 year old when he was 32, which is one of the allegations that seems to be true, that would put the age difference at 14 years.

Now one of the chaps who is calling for him to surrender his candidacy is McCain, who at 44 dated a 26 year old 18 years younger than him. Oh and by the way McCain was married at the time, so it was adultery, which I believe JC was not in favor of. After being handed a loss here, by my count, that makes about 70% up for grabs and a good chunk of it will read the momentum and swing to the anti-establishment side. McConnell, Ryan and the other cucks are very afraid of what will happen next.
