Richard Scarry, converged

Remember, there is nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, the SJWs consider too sacrosanct to soil. In fact, the more sacred you hold it, the more eager they are to destroy it.
A much loved children's story book has had a revamp to make it more politically correct, including placing a male bunny in the kitchen helping his wife. 'The Best Word Book Ever' by US author Richard Scarry was first published in 1963, but over the years the illustrations have been gradually tweaked to bring the book up to speed with modern times.

The colourful illustrations of rosy cheeked pigs in police uniforms and rabbits getting the children ready for school are very much the same, but 'policeman', 'fireman' and 'handsome pilot' have been changed to unisex titles such as 'firefighter'.

Male characters are also pictured looking after children and cooking, whilst female characters have been given careers such as farming and labouring.
I wonder what was the purpose of this atrocity against history? Ah yes, that old standby, inclusivity!

SJWs always lie. Tell a friend.

Can't someone do that to their cherished children's stories? Oh that's right, they don't have any, because they don't cherish children. Gavin McInnes captured the left's mind perfectly when he said (paraphrasing) "if you call a person 'retarded', lefties go bonkers for the insensitivity of it all. But if someone decides to murder their baby in the womb because a test showed they are likely to be retarded - they are perfectly cool with that." Hatred for children - for "overpopulation" - is probably the single unifying theme of the left. Disgusting.

I predict an increase in value for older prints of the book. May take some awhile to catch on to this (like not before males are totally purged in favor of trannys) so excellent investment opportunity.

@1, I'd say the hatred of children seems contrary to r selection, but r selected animals are heavily dependent on infant mortality to keep the gene pool clean, as it were. Demonstrated by Mouse Utopia; mice don't really sex-select, so without heavy predation they weren't being "rogue'd out" at all, and the entire population went to hell.

So, acting like rabbits while also fretting about population and supporting culling of children is actually quite internally consistent.

In addition, the only jewish children who ever got 8 presents, one for each day of Chanukah, were overly rich New York JAPlets who were being teased by the Christian kids for only getting bonus spending money.

Until, of course, the children do not believe the right way, and then it's off to the reeducation camps with them, of course, since the State must be sacrosanct.

It has been a weird existence for me the last 24 months. For like 20 years, we had a bunch of atheists in our town who were constantly trying to shut down Christmas, banning mangers in the public square, outlawing "merry christmas" from local public officials, etc.

Only after I became red-pilled did I look back and realize who these (((atheists))) really were. Hidden in plain sight. All I had to do is check their last names and see where they went on Saturdays.

The sad part is my whole life I was brought up in church to worship these (((rats))) as the "Chosen People." I was deceived. These vermin hate Christ and they are 100% overt about it. Only we dumbo goyim seem to not notice it, until we do.

This book was a childhood favorite. I noticed the changes a few years ago when I bought the newer version.

Scarry's classic isn't the only one to get this treatment. Jolly Old Santa Claus by Sparkie and Hinke was a wonderful Christmas books from my childhood, with charming depictions of Santa's home life and preparations for Christmas. In the new version, Santa's ubiquitous pipe has been airbrushed out of the paintings and the innocuous original story has been changed to be more politically correct. Two-thirds of the reviews on Amazon complain about the changes, but we already know what SJWs always do.

No doubt some (((rats))) *immediately* screamed about the lack of the Judeo-Christ in the original 1963 edition.

Recent article about Irish Catholic Priest calling for an end to using the term "Christmas."

Based on the headline, one thinks this is an atrocity, until one actual reads quotes from him, where he argues that modern celebration of this day, as with Easter, are mostly superficial and materialistic. He goes on to put a call out for a new definition.

How about "The Savior's Birthday" and (for Easter) "The Savior's Ascension."

Even if the heirs of Richard Scarry wanted to stop ongoing the SJW airbrushing of the work to suit the Pedowood latest fetishes, it would appear they would have zero recourse to do so at least in the USA. Looking at the renewal record for the 1963 publication of Best Word Book Ever was as a "work made for hire", a legal term widely abused by publishers under which the copyright is entirely turned over to a publisher so that the they legally become the "author". This might even preclude an attempt to stop such re-writing under the "moral rights" schema of Swiss and EUSSR copyright laws (Scarry died in Switzerland and his son lives in Vienna).

The publisher in question here was Western Publishing (Golden Books imprint), founded in 1910 by Albert and Edward Wadewitz, subsequently absorbed by Random House and DreamWorks Classics. Thanks to Disney's rewrite of the US copyright law in 1998, the book will remain under copyright there until January 1, 2059. Castalia House cannot touch it until 2065 (life plus 70 years in EUSSR), protected China and elsewhere (life plus 50 years) until 2045.

Blogger Jew613 November 21, 2017 1:38 PM

Speaking of children's books, a modern author wrote a Children's book called "The Adventures of Pepe and Pede" and you guessed it, it has pro-civilizational themes such as not letting Alkah the Alligator takeover their wilderness.

Anyway, he's been sued by Matt Furie and forced to stop distribution of it and turn over any profits to fucking CAIR.

Blogger michimartini November 21, 2017 6:42 PM

So yes, I understand that this represents a cucking towards rabbinical/talmudic Judaism - but at the same time I feel compelled to note the following:
In the Gospel of John 10:22-23 it reads:

"At that time the Ḥanukkah came to be in Yerushalayim, and it was winter.
And יהושע was walking in the Set-apart Place, in the porch of Shelomoh."

-- "The Scriptures" translation of the Bible, (יהושע == Yehoshuah [Jesus]).

So Hanukkah was the actual feast Christ observed during "the season" - not the evil pagan feast of Halloween (which is connected to witchcraft and the sacrificial murdering of children) and also no fertility rites involving ever green trees.

So in my view the SJWs really messed up here by accidentally inserting something that is more christian than all the other stuff on that page. Because the menorah represents the Holy Spirit (or "Sacred Fire" in Amorran parlance). Whereas the Jack o' Lantern and the witch represent death cults which are pretty much in line with SJW beliefs.

BTW, Hanukkah not one of the divinely prescribed feasts, but just a commemoration of the rededication of the temple. But it needs to be noted that this in turn was a prerequisite for the coming of the Messiah. Which is the one thing that made the west the best.

But I get the sentiment.

Daniel 9:24
"Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place."

I am not perfectly clear as to what "anointing it" means here, but it is clear to me that the Most Holy Place would have to have existed at his coming. And that required a rededication because it was desecrated by Antiochius Epiphanes.

This "Gorilla Bananas" was the stereotypical mid 20th century criminal black, wonder if he's been airbrushed out yet?
