Thinking this through, if they actually follow up on it, they won't be buying from any major US or foreign corporation. Only from locally owned ones, who (as Matt points out) will mostly simply be buying their products from white owned corporations.

I've got few places to go around here if I want to shop at a black business. And I live next to Chocolate City. Where would I go? There are white-owned, Asian-owned, and Hispanic-owned businesses all around in abundance.
I can think of a couple soul-food places, and one seafood market (which is pretty good, btw). That's it.

BBB.COM is a joke. I live in an area surrounded by black-owned businesses. In fact, as I'm typing this, I've walked past a dozen restaurants, a black-owned locksmiths' shop, two black-owned clothing stores, a black-owned urgent care clinic, a 99 cent store, three different fishmongers, etc.
Oh wait, as of a couple months ago, we're the "bad blacks". For those of you who missed it (or who just didn't care), an AP-promoted news article that featured AA university students complaining about non-slave descended black people overtaking AA student organizations went viral in immigrant communities. Suffice to say, the "We're all in this together!", pan-African alliance took a major beating. Virtually every non-AA black person is beginning to give the AA cohort a side-eye. Parents in my neck of the woods are closing doors and denying the benefit of the doubt to people. A BLM March that ended with the death of an elderly Jamaican woman (the marchers, of whom all of the leaders were from other sections of the city, hemmed in and refused to let an ambulance break their lines) essentially killed public acceptance of those ideals. And for better or for worse, Caribbean and African men are rejecting AA women as potential romantic partners (in NYC) in any capacity.
Long story short: they're beginning to see through the BS. Political non-AAs are toeing the line, but the rank and file are pulling off a BGTOW. Finding out that our "brothas and sistas" do and always will see us as interlopers (Sharpton dogwhistle) is just mortar to the wall.
