This is what winning looks like

A readers sends an example of Generation Zyklon upsetting a guidance counselor. It appears to be an actual, first-hand account from an SJW school counselor and his terrifying encounters with the fed-up, disaffected and angry white kids who never got to experience the economic prosperity nor the ethnically homogeneous homelands that their Baby Boomer, and, to a lesser extent, Gen X predecessors enjoyed.
I work as a counselor at a school where there's a lot of 4chan-esque right wing boys who are coming up. The previous generation a year or two ago wasn't too bad, but this generation coming up now is much more right wing.

My question is, how the fuck do I deal with this shit? How am I supposed to honestly give council to a kid with a pepe shirt on. How do I talk to these kids who literally come to me and rant about affirmative action? 2 years ago these types barely existed and now they are everywhere, not only men but women too. They literally cannot control their right wing beliefs, they talk about it constantly, everywhere. They can't have a discussion about fucking math without bringing up how women hate math and science and that is why they are unsuccessful. They can't talk about english classes without talking about colleges are wiping away white authors because of cultural marxism. A kid came to me and ranted that his history classes 'blamed white people too much' for tragedies in the past and that made him uncomfortable.

I know my job is that people can come to me with whatever possible problems they want, no matter how controversial. But this is getting fucking out of hand. How do I do this?
I don't expect you to do anything, Mr. Guidance Counselor. I expect you to continue to be irrelevant and outdated. But in the meantime, you might direct those promising young students to the 16 Points of the Alt Right, because the Alt-Right is an inevitable consequence of the 1965 Naturalization Act.

Still not tired.

Is this author for real? Anyone over the age of, say, 20 should have some grasp of the concept of criticism and skepticism. A fundamental pillar of a healthy society is a populace that can discard the destructive and keep pressing for improvement.

Everywhere we see the failing of critical theory/cultural marxism. A quick tour of the internet displays the obnoxiousnous of feminism, aggressiveness of BLM, GloboJihad tearing Islam apart etc etc.

This author is displaying more of their denial than the attitudes of truth seekers.

So much for that Narrative.

Mr. Guidance Counselor is a classic example of how converged colleges and universities hijacked American education on the K-12 level. The teacher ed. programs were converged. The converged teacher ed. programs indoctrinated the teachers, counselors, and administrators. The indoctrinated teachers, counselors, and administrators infested K-12 education and deployed their indoctrination. These people write curriculum and select the textbooks by which to teach the curriculum. Don't fall for the "charter schools are different" myth. Charter schools teach the same curriculum with the same textbooks and are staffed by the indoctrinated teachers, counselors, and administrators. I'm not surprised by this guidance counselor's angst for he is a product of a converged system.

You were right, SJWs take over an institution and use it to perform tasks it was never intended to perform. K-12 ed. is supposed to teach people to reason and promote values. As it exists now, it promotes "anti-reason" and "anti-values".

This made my morning!

Guidance counselors are mostly useless. Students know this, most parents do, some teachers, too. I never worked with any that I found particularly helpful to students, except as an escape from a class they didn’t want to take, once the nurse kept sending them back.

Some of them were nice people but plain ineffective as counselors.

And I also laughed at an adult with a Masters degree misspelling the very word that comprises the source and substance of his career.

Anonymous TheHiss December 18, 2017 6:51 AM

Let's correct his spelling and put the question mark in:

"How am I supposed to honestly give counsel to a kid with a Pepe shirt on?"

That still leaves the split infinitive. Let's see:

"How am I supposed to give honest counsel to a kid with a Pepe shirt on?"

That's better.

AH HA HA HA HA! So great. Still not tired!

Audacious Epigone had something a while back about mock Presidential elections held in high schools last year with Generation Z, and the white kids are WOKE. The voting patterns broke down completely along racial lines. Like 90% of white boys went for Trump, along with 80% of white girs. Long live Generation Z!

This is such an Emperor Has No Clothes moment. After 50 years of lies, it's very hard to put the truth back in a bottle. Once it's out, it's out.

It's also notable how ridiculous the belief system of educators is.

In the 1890s, all educators knew perfectly well that what we know as civilization was largely built by white Christians. That was still pretty much the case in the 1950s. Even as late as the 1980s and 1990s, guidance counsellors would have happily debated bright white males on these topics, with the overarching framework being "fairness." Yes, Jimmy, William Shakespeare was great, but isn't it possible that some great literature black writers didn't get as much promotion as it deserved? Yes, Jimmy, all races have done bad things, but you have to admit that slavery was bad."

But now in 2017 the Poz has taken over so completely that the guidance counselor doesn't know how to respond to Jimmy. Jimmy trolls the counselor by saying he feels "uncomfortable" about the demonization of whites in history class. And the counselor cries "help." LOL. He can't engage intellectually. His view is: everyone knows that white people are bad. How can (white) Jimmy not agree? Why is my job so hard?" LOL. He is intellectually incapable of fairly considering Jimmy's accurate facts (white male authors are disappearing from college English curricula, and white figures are being demonized more than previously in today's high school history classes. Both are facts, easily confirmed with a comparative glance at curricula and textbooks from 25 years ago.)

Anyway, love live the truth! They who sowed the wind shall reap the whirlwind. And, even worse for their frail psyches, they will be LAUGHED AT. LOL!

Think more reactionary, rediscovering truths that even feudal peasants not just knew, but were seared into their minds. By that standard, conservatives are hopelessly leftist as they squabble with the liberals over who is to own modern society; generation Zyklon knows modernity is fundamentally evil.

Comment #9 expressed my thinking on the subject. I am reminded of an article I saw several years ago where a high school teacher was lamenting that his pupils did not like the music of the Beetles, feeling that it had no relevance to them and was created by old white guys. The teacher's solution was, of course, to mandate that they be taught to appreciate the music in school.

The entire leftist edifice still believes itself to be the edgy opposition to "the man." They are incapable of comprehending the truth. They are not only "the man." They are the doddering old man that needs assistance getting up and down stairs whose health is failing and mental faculties are not quite there any longer. Hence Hillary, Reid, and Pelosi.

Blogger Ron Winkleheimer December 18, 2017 8:22 AM

The left is also inherently short sighted. I know, the "long march through the institutions" and all that. But, the one thing that might salvage their project is an expanding economy so people aren't going to be competing against each other for scarce resources. However, their entire ideology predicates limiting economic growth. If resources aren't limited then their is no need to fight over them and hence identity politics is used to control resources and keep the left in power.

White people were not supposed to start practicing identity politics. Hence the propagandizing about the unique badness of whites and the movement to destroy "whiteness." However, a lot of people don't take kindly to being told that they and their ancestors are crap who should be exterminated.

The account from an SJW guidance counselor seems fake. It is true, I'm sure, all across the nation, that Generation Z is much more alt-right and rational than the buffuddled boomers and Ed school progressives trying to edumacate them about how toxic their whiteness is.

But this particular account seems more like a troll because the author misspells counsel (believable, but reduces likelihood of realness by half, since fully 50% of our nation's guidance counselors don't misspell counsel), uses the word 4-chan-esque, uses the phrase "cultural marxism," and mentions Pepe. Most guidance counselors who have no idea how to deal with alt-right kids wouldn't know or use all these terms. It sounds like this was written by someone alt-right as a mockery. It doesn't make it any less accurate or great, but we should at least be aware when reading something that probably wasn't written by the narrator.

@28 They're not conservatives. They're counter-revolutionaries. Their hero isn't Reagan, it's Pinochet. They love the "You can't run, you can't hide, you get helicopter ride!" chant - and they mean it. They actively call out their leftist indoctrinated cohorts in school, and talk back to the teachers when they spew forth leftist garbage. They're not afraid to argue, and they're not afraid to fight. They're mostly not interested in wasting money and time in going to college. They are looking for jobs, and seeing illegals working all the entry level positions, and they're really getting angry.

They boys are the definition of "toxic masculinity," and the girls love them for it. Even the leftist girls are attracted to them, and the boys are starting to turn some of them around to the light.

One major difference - they don't see the left-right split as economic (communism vs/ free market). They see a nuanced sphere of influence, with political, economic, and cultural axes. What they are primarily interested in is culture, with raw power as a secondary. Because if you control the culture, you control the future. Power obviously helps control the culture (convert or die works amazingly well), whether it's political or economic. They see meme warriors as actual warriors, and celebrate successful memes. What they don't care about is ethics. They are completely willing to be as ruthless and loyal to their own as our enemies, the Democrats - our man, right or wrong. They acknowledge that America is already a socialist state, as is every major economy, and they're not fighting that battle. They have to survive the identity war on the horizon. After that, then they can discuss how to best improve everything else.

Bottom line - they realize they're fighting for their lives and their culture, and they intend to win. They've got the drive and motivation of generations past. May God have mercy on those who oppose them, for they shall show none.

Blogger Akulkis December 18, 2017 10:31 AM

@71... they have a LOT of parallels with the WW2 generation... becuase... if you read the 4th Turning, they are the 4th generation since the WW2 generation... both grew up in economies that can only be described as worldwide depression, during which the economy was being manipulated by morally bankrupt idiot in the White House (FDR would arbitrarily change the value of Gold; Obama pushed tax policies that he KNEW would cause across the board economic harm...because some people weren't suffering enough, so EVERYBODY must suffer EVEN MOAR!!!).

Just like in WW2, these kids are toughened by growing up hungry.

This reminds me of the grunge-music period, when all the baby-boomers in the major media couldn't understand why GenX was listening to such depressing music when "There's no draft, no war, and the economy is good, why are these kids listening to Cobain?" Who the hell talks to guidance counselors? The only time I talked to one in high school was once, early senior year, because it was required to "help" you apply for college. Aside from a few brochures and how to fill out a form, we discussed nada.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/18/us/politics/house-control-2018-suburbs-trump-republicans-democrats.html

As she sat with a glass of sauvignon blanc waiting for a women-focused Democratic fund-raiser to begin, Nancy Sharp let loose in a Texas-seasoned drawl why she and so many other onetime supporters of the Bush family were abandoning the Republicans.

“Have you ever heard of a stupider and trashier man than the president of the United States?” asked Ms. Sharp, an interior designer who lives not far from the elegant condominium where about 75 women gathered this month to help the House candidate Lizzie Pannill Fletcher. “Calling a U.S. senator ‘Pocahontas’ in front of God and everyone!”

If Democrats are to claim the House majority next year, their path back to power will go through places like the Huntingdon, a 34-floor high-rise in the River Oaks section of Houston that was once home to Enron’s Kenneth L. Lay, has no fewer than five valets on a busy night and sits in the district of Representative John Culberson, a veteran Republican who may be in for the race of his life.

The mounting backlash to President Trump that is threatening his party’s control of Congress is no longer confined just to swing districts on either coast. Officials in both parties believe that Republican control of the House is now in grave jeopardy because a group of districts that are historically Republican or had been trending that way before the 2016 election are slipping away.

“There’s no illusion about the storm that’s coming,” said Representative Tom Cole, Republican of Oklahoma, invoking last month’s governor’s races and last week’s Senate special election. “If you had any doubts, they were wiped away after New Jersey, Virginia and Alabama.”

Let's be honest. Anyone that becomes a high school "guidance counselor" is not capable of giving anyone guidance. I remember in the early 70's when I was about to graduate how absolutely useless these people were. They had all these test scores in front of them and they asked me what I wanted to do. Even then, there were very few students that "knew" what they wanted to do. You might have ideas about what you think might make for a "decent" job, but it was still going to be a job and would be based on the standard cookie cutter structure that accompanies all mainstream jobs. Guidance counselors have a sinecure, basically. They don't do any real work, they show up and get their check. At least classroom teachers experience combat. Guidance counselors do next to nothing until it gets to be graduation season and schools force them to do a routine sit-down with all the students. Remember, those that can, do. Those that can't, teach. Those that can't teach become guidance counselors or PE coaches.

Blogger kurt9 December 18, 2017 10:51 AM

My advice to the school counselor would be simply to tell these kids to focus on their grades and whatever extracurricular activities (sports, jazz band, etc.) that they may happen to be into. It is not the job of a school counselor to involve themselves with the kids who already have their act together and know what they want to accomplish in life.

I never saw a school counselor once the whole four years I was in high school. I didn't need to. I got good grades, was in band, and knew I wanted to get an engineering degree followed by an MBA a few years later. What was there for me to discuss with any school counselor?

I'm with #67 -- this is too good to be true. Most guidance teachers have never heard of 4chan.

I do think that we are transitioning from an age of ideology to an age of identity, and many of today's teenagers are already there, and good for them. It's quite possible to believe that a counselor can't spell counsel. Teachers are getting progressively dumber along with college students. I just don't think this particular anecdote is real.

My LDS scout troop (in the San Fran bay) surprised me with how right-wing those young men were. "Feminism is cancer." "CNN is fake news." "Bomb ISIS." "Screw gays."
The impression I got was they didn't like being force-fed "You white boys are evil," by crazy feminist cat ladies.

Sherwood asked about headway in blue states.

Anecdote: I mentioned SJW to a 19 year-old college student in NYC, born there, to immigrant parents, now citizens.

He never heard of social justice warrior and yet he was glued to his phone in his youth, talking to friends, games, videos. He is not an isolated loner.

His immigrant Mother/Father avoid politics, except she hates Republicans, hates nobody else, and doesn't vote (my observation from my superficial conversations).

Therefore, I think non-whites are not conscious of ANY opposition by Alt-Right, in their blue immigrant-cities, and have little knowledge of pepe memes and internet culture. They mostly know where to steal movies.

I think Trump is their wake-up that they are opposed in some immigration way, not local culture waking them up. They think white men are the sexual harassers, completely oblivious they are Democrat men, and not always white; immigrants good, white people bad.

Another anecdote: alarm was expressed about mohammedan killings in their NYC, but ZERO desire to stop any immigration; ie. still hate Trump.

(PS: Is misspelling The Beatles a fun thing, a typo, or generational lost knowledge)? ha

The Rockefeller/Country Club Republicans were never Americans. It's necessary to get poison like that out of the Republican Party, if it is ever going to be what our parents fondly imagined it once was.

"uses the word 4-chan-esque, uses the phrase "cultural marxism," and mentions Pepe."

Could have learned about Pepe from Hillary's campaign, or all the leftist media that's been raving about him. But the others, the counselor says explicitly it was learned from the kids:

"They literally cannot control their right wing beliefs, they talk about it constantly, everywhere. They can't have a discussion about fucking math without bringing up how women hate math and science and that is why they are unsuccessful. They can't talk about english classes without talking about colleges are wiping away white authors because of cultural marxism."

Maybe we should doubt someone hearing this from these deplorable kids would remember it instead of going straight to REEEEE! But I can see some actually paying attention and getting worried.

(Just in case Mr. Guidance Counselor should scan over these comments....)

What do you suppose the Guidance Counselors did when they started getting Militant Negroes and Militant Hispanics and Militant Muslims in their office?

Yeah....you know what they did. They did a bit of reading and studying to keep current. They told themselves it was more important to be able to rap with the students than judge them. They familiarized themselves with the topics, issues, and most popular ideas that these young people have already picked up.

Just remember, Guidance Counselor....you are there to HELP and ASSIST them, nor correct them. You are their Guidance Counselor, not the high school Political Commissar. It is not your purpose to ban t-shirts and hats or tattoos or hairdos. It IS your purpose to provide them with what they need to succeed in the transition from child to adult....not recruit for your church or get brownie points from your Leftist Liberal friends for your missionary work.

But Vox is right, in terms of what we expect and what we hope for. Keep excluding yourself from the discussion. We really do not need your yapping like a tiny dog. Exclude yourself.

It's more than that; Gen Z has never lived in a society where white people were NOT being constantly denigrated and nonwhites being treated as sacred cows, and so therefore the concept of "white privilege" makes as much sense to them as flat-eartherism or George Orwell's 2+2=5.

Wow, that is a quote to go in my commonplace book.

It's also the simplest and most concise answer to the guidance counselor's question. If he could just understand that one point (he doesn't even need to agree with it...just understand it) he would be able to connect with Gen-Z.

@54. Chris

Boomers are the only generation in the last 100 years to not be more conservative than the one before them.

The generation before the Boomers was a lot more radical than the one that preceded it. The pre-Boomer generation gave us the left-wing Beat subculture, the Civil Rights movement, second wave feminism, the New Left, the antiwar movement, they elected LBJ, they began the implementation of the homosexual agenda, the push for easy divorce, the establishment of the welfare state, the hippies, the beginnings of the drug culture, the move towards sex and violence as the main ingredients of movies, the liberal/leftist takeover of the universities, the dumbing down of education, the beginnings of the explosion of pornography.

These are all things that the Boomers inherited from their parents.

It may be a shock to you but the 1950s wasn't like one long episode of Leave It To Beaver.

And you really think Millennials are more conservative than Gen X?

But of course the easy answer to everything is that it's all the fault of the Boomers. So much easier than actually thinking.

My kids are pretty receptive to every bit of alt-right information I share with them. Just had my fifth, so it gives me hope that we're at least out-reproducing the white breed of rabbits (how weird does that sound?). The enemy can continue to import their clients to boost their numbers, but at least we will have quality to match their quantity.
My sons were allowed to use certain inappropriate words to refer to Obama. Drove my daughter nuts but amazingly she has remained immune to a lot of the brainwashing. I don't know how common that is, but the enemy has sunk a massive investment into shaping the minds of young girls (e.g. Teen Vogue, etc.), so if they are failing there they are in big trouble long-term. Let's hope so.
