Trigger time, part two

Given how much Gamma rage was inspired by the idea that fathers might protect their daughters, I can only imagine how much will result from the latest design from Crypto.Fashion and Dark Lord Designs. Also available in a short-sleeved v-neck. And yes, we changed out the rifle for variety's sake.

If I had more time, I'd construct a Gamma Bingo game with call-outs for "mate-guarding", "cuckold", "insecure", "cheating", and "whore", among others. Never mind that every man with an attractive wife is well aware of the death stare she reserves for idiots who don't respect her wedding ring or recognize her initial signal to back the fuck off.

This has been one of the most hilarious Rorschach tests I've seen in a while. Though as I noted over on the thread you linked, there's a definite Texas cultural space that has an atypical reaction.

If I had a resource-sucking, soul-destroying hypergamous harpy - I mean, "wife" - I would NEVER let her wear this because she'd be too busy barefoot and making me sandwiches.

The threat to shoot one's wife's adulterer is and should be credible. This is different than the daughter scenario, in which a successful suitor of a virgin of Israel is only punished by marriage or a large payment, not death, in the Bible.

Don't judge.

Perhaps they believed Secret Kingship rendered them invisible to laser sights, and are merely expressing their mild dismay in the most mature way possible for males of their stature.

We are told as an article of faith that a good wife is to be protected, because she is a rare gem. I predict that this will only inflame the angry and embittered, but it won't have nearly as big a splash. A good wife isn't going to be one who plays "you and him fight".

Blogger JACIII December 08, 2017 10:14 AM

...only if you are talking about a man's property rights. But these shirts are women's social messages, not men's expressions of the law.

They are very funny shots at feminists, and the gammas who think it is instead about them...are hilariously correct.

Anonymous Wilbur Hassenfus December 08, 2017 10:20 AM

Crass, silly, gamma-like posturing in both cases IMO. It reminds me of the young fat guys who were never in the military, who show up at our Saturday pistol matches decked out in tactical gear with an “Infidel” t-shirt. That Walter Mitty stuff isn’t my favorite part of the American gun culture. It’s a hell of a lot better no gun culture at all, of course.

I’ll concede that objectively, dialectically (if you like) the shirt means just exactly what you say it does. So? A lot of normal men see it and say “dude. Chill.”

Maybe they’re not true Scotsmen, but Occam says otherwise. Men can disagree about one damn thing without one or the other of them necessarily being revealed to be a Secret Gamma.

On the plus side, I bet both shirts would give any vagina-hatter an absolute paroxysm. Which is nice.

I have a teenage boy. He has had three girlfriends. Two of them, the fathers tried to put the fear of God into him before letting him take their daughter to a well-supervised school dance. One did not.

He is appalled that he "lowered himself" to date the girl whose father did not care enough about her to lecture him for half an hour on what proper behavior he expected.

I was there for one of the speeches. I, myself, was appalled at how rude and condescending the father was to our entire family- not just my son and his intentions. My son had prepared himself beforehand for the lecture, emotionally stoicism.

That shirt is nothing compared to what boys expect to go through from the fathers of sheltered, well-raised girls.

It is only not about the father if the father doesn't intend to back up the lethal threat printed on his daughter's t-shirt. By your logic, the men who proudly announce their willingness to back up the threat on the t-shirt are gammas.

I don't think you get the joke at all. The joke is that low-rank men will look at her tits to read the words, and the luscious tits will tell them, "Look, but you can't touch."

Feminists employ similar humor, but rely on police protection instead. Quite correctly so, at least when around non-underclass whites in the USA.

Thinking more about the current sexual scandals than this T shirt stuff, what occurs to me is how completely fake our current sexual doctrines are. Be it a man or government, so long as a women wants a defender she ends up being subordinate to that defender. So much for the new independent women. As for men, most of the sexual violators are those who go along with the feminist doctrine. Apparently they are either insincere or don't allow abstract ideas to impact actual behavior. In summation: it is all fake.

There are no guarantees, but you can certainly improve the odds.

First, you have to be disciplined yourself.
Second, your wife has to be an emotional adult.
Third, don't get divorced.

That raises the odds of a virtuous daughter by about 9,000%.

Problem is, these days, the fathers also need to vet their daughters' boyfriends ruthlessly for Gammatude as well as Alphatude. Traditional (stereotypical?) "father's rules on dating his daughter" were designed to prevent high-rank men from deflowering them and leaving them as heartbroken single moms, but they're absolutely useless in weeding out Gammas, who are after all good at sucking-up.

I've witnessed a few marriages involving attractive evangelical Christian girls from (apparently) good families that collapsed this way. They got married off to Gammas, and in a couple of years, they dumped them. In one case she had a couple boys with the Gamma.

It might help explain the steep increase in cuckery among evangelical Christians I've been noticing over the last ten years or so.

Fair enough. It's part of why I like Dalrock.

The comments, though, were tedious. When they weren't sperging over "it's murder!", they played Gamma Bingo or tried the oh-so-popular "let's psychoanalyze Vox" gambit (because that always works out so well.) Lots and lots of bitterness over there. Glad I don't visit that comment section often.

Ummm.....okay, what's a gamma? I've heard of alpha and beta.

The boy didn't just submit. The sweetest one he labored for, for a year, for a chance to take her to a school dance. She worked, too. Straight As. Church kids, met at church camp. He was polite and earnest with the father.

The second, not guarding, again, a good girl from a religious family. Sweet, sweet girl who is still friends with daughter. Just different parental approach- we trust you to make grownup decisions. She was a good girl, guarding her own self. They are still on good terms.

Third girl, son wore his football shirt to antagonize the father- reminding him visually that his daughter was lucky to have a shot at a prince of the school. This dad was the biggest jerk. His daughter was also the one that made us, as parents, step back- wild child.

Our son knows men: he gets yelled at by football coaches- they have practice at keeping young men in line.

The yelling and shirts lets kids know there are grownups watching and guiding and judging, overall, so they aren't alone, naked and afraid, on a bare plain with fires on the horizon. They are part of society, and society has concerns and values.

I didn't marry the guy my dad said he would approve of: no one has married the guy, in the twenty years since. I married a guy that my grandfather would have approved of.

What?! What is the outrage, the shirts are perfect I love them, whats the problem?

It's best to understand gender equality is to be denied, feminism is a horrid evil; a woman needs to go from her dads care to her spouses care, its safest and the best for women.

Really, 1921 era would place gammas and (even anitfa) feminists in an mental health bed, they are SICK people. not to gaslight, just saying how the era's how warped.

24 Be a strong loving father explain things many times over (think of the bible and how it explains the same messages many times) for the girls and they wont depart your wisdom, then if ishe's hyerpgamous cite a stip to the will; if you misbehave you get nothing beginning age 21 until the parents death - I dont know if that works but its an option, complex to qualify but an option.

Regarding departing her fathers wisdom its an act of disloyalty, that is a serious fall and a serious sin in my mind.

The problem is that when the roles reverse; father falls ill, the daughter is POA, she must demonstrate professionalism in kindness and firmness in attaining all and any care for mom and dad.

Also neg the current culture; the girl will pick up on subtly.

One example that I still laugh about is from 2011, dad walked his sister down the aisle in a too short for church gown, all he had to say was, "ah, nice white dress for marriage # what(?) but wheres the rest of it at, in the closet?"

She was stuck in the short dress but wore a long gown for the dinner afterwards. I asked to be driven home and avoided anymore nonsense, you know fall out boy has a point, you can wear the crown but your no princess.

Blogger S1AL December 08, 2017 2:49 PM

I've discussed this elsewhere, but my issue with his analysis of it was that he completely skipped over the origins and applications of the actual chivalric code, which traces to Martel and is valuable, perhaps even necessary, to a Christian feudal system.

But other than that, yes, his deconstruction of the modern myth of chivalry was excellent.

If I had to guess, they had no real male guidance growing up, and were pampered by women enough to give them huge prideful egos, which makes trying to get wisdom across to them extraordinarily difficult.

The traits of incorrigible Gammas that jump out at me are overweening pride mixed with envy, deceitfulness, and despair.

Also, I'm convinced that Lambda is very often a particularly malignant form of Gamma. Adds a whole new facet to the "gay rights" push.

One of the reasons I lost interest in Alpha Game. You can only listen to Gammas repeat the same stupid arguments so many times.

It is written:

“Therefore, brethren, select from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task.”

For it was also written:

"you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens. Let them judge the people at all times; and let it be that every major dispute they will bring to you, but every minor dispute they themselves will judge. So it will be easier for you, and they will bear the burden with you."

Have you no VFM who could handle Alpha Game? You have invested the time and effort into building it up and it is a worthwhile cause.

Try just showing (or describing) the first t-shirt ("my daddy is a watching") to any red-pilled hoplopphillic teenage girls you know. I'll bet you get similar responses to "cool" or "that's so funny" or "I wish it were in purple"

Which is why the daughter of a good friend of mine will be getting that Tee + a copy of SJWAL for a graduation present.

Anonymous texas exile December 09, 2017 9:39 AM

As for cultural differences... every owner in Texas knows the previous daughter t shirt is the difference between plausible defense, manslaughter charge and murder charge, ergo if a daughter is wearing it her father's not serious about it. I most imagine dalrock's readership base lives in a similar legal and cultural region.

Note such killings occasionally occur there, with legal issues around it murky. When I was living in Houston In 2014 a father killed a daughter's suitor in her bedroom. He claimed he thought he was an intruder but no one really knows. (Black teen, black father.) If she had that shirt he likely would have had a much different grand jury verdict.

If the hypothesis is correct that the message seems cringey for a certain subculture it would be interesting to see the back end data, comparing the sale of these shirts to other crypto.

As far as data points go I found the daughter one cringy, the wife one not.

I commented quite a bit at Dalrock's and got quite a lot of this argument that the message is a literal one and that it has consequences which obligate a man of honor to fulfill its promise in the literal sense. I think that's just taking the message, and oneself waaaaay too spergishly. I took the message as tongue-in-cheek. As in: 'Here's a nice shirt for you sweetie, you know daddy loves you and would wrassle alligators for you, right?' The message of love and protection is real, but it's not literal (at least not in the ordinary course of a thousand lifetimes.) I think the insistence on reading this shirt literally is just silly internet warriors LARPing as tough guys. Too many movies, man!

Yes. Maybe dalrock's base is spergy and protecting their psychology onto their culture. Of course who but spergs is going to find dissertations on demographics and sexual relationships in a post Christian and churchianity sub culture interesting?

Like I said before, after Christmas it would be interesting if there's a difference in sales of this shirt series between sub cultural regions. That would be good evidence to support or dissuade from the regional interpretation hypothesis.

Blogger Sweet Grenade of Joy December 09, 2017 11:39 PM

Emotionally healthy women want protective fathers. What they want and what they want to proclaim via their clothing are different matters.

What emotionally healthy woman wants to stride through the world with a pink testimonial to her father on her chest? Let alone a teenage girl. Let alone a goon.txt testimonial.

Is there any example in history of women advertising a father's protectiveness through clothing? Or by other visual means? Are there other suppliers catering to what should be a sizeable market?

I'll come back and eat a five-course meal of shit depending on the examples adduced, if any. Until then, these designs are exercises in applied narcissism, all about the buyer rather than the wearer.
