The nations rise

The defiant song of the Russian national hockey team is a brave symbol for nationalists around the world:
In a surprise overtime victory in the finals of the Olympic men’s hockey tournament, the Russians defeated Germany, 4-3.

But the Russians were not permitted to have their national anthem played or flag raised, due to a past doping scandal. So, the team ignored the prohibition and sang out the Russian national anthem over the sounds of the Olympic anthem.

One recalls the scene in “Casablanca,” where French patrons of Rick’s saloon stood and loudly sang the “La Marseillaise” to drown out the “Die Wacht am Rhein” being sung by a table of German officers.

When the combined North-South Korean Olympic team entered the stadium, Vice President Mike Pence remained seated and silent. But tens of thousands of Koreans stood and cheered the unified team.

America may provide a defensive shield for the South, but Koreans on both sides of the DMZ see themselves as one people. And, no fool, Kim Jong Un is exploiting the deep tribal ties he knows are there.

Watching the Russians defiantly belt out their anthem, one recalls also the 1968 summer Olympics in Mexico City where sprinters Tommie Smith and John Carlos stood on the podium, black gloved fists thrust skyward in a Black Power salute, asserting their separate racial identity

Western elites may deplore the return of nationalism. But they had best not dismiss it, for assertions of national and tribal identity appear to be what the future is going to be all about.
The shallow, saccharine falsity and Orwellian emotional manipulation of the Olympics is symbolic of the shiny, secular, and satanic New Babel that the globalists are attempting to construct. But just as the Russian hockey players drowned out the Olympic anthem, the nations of the world will defeat the latest attempt to chain them, control them, and rule over them.

God does not will the rule of the New Babel. We know this. He created the nations and He will inspire and defend them. He has even vowed the preservation of one specific nation. So, to deny and oppose nationalism is to deny and oppose God Himself.

I see the EU commission Twitter account was giving out the medal tallies as if the EU was a country. Guess what? The EU won the Olympics! They even included British athletes in the medal tally. A taste of things to come.

"So, to deny and oppose nationalism is to deny and oppose God Himself."

Agreed. And it also is to deny reality. Even the atheists can see that nationalism is the natural order of things. It makes perfect evolutionary sense.

I speculate that the reason the deep state hates the Russians so much is that they are very white, nationalistic, and are very religious. (especially now that they have beaten back that godless communism)

"So, to deny and oppose nationalism is to deny and oppose God Himself."

That is the whole point of globalism. I used to think the power, wealth, and control were the globalists' motivation and their opposition to God was an ancillary matter, but I've since realized that I had it exactly backwards.

I didn't catch the NBC broadcast of the Russians singing. What did the high priests of multicultural globalism do when proud men sang their national anthem live on air?

Blogger tuberman February 27, 2018 7:48 AM

It's been surprising (a good surprise) to see the Russians go toward nationalism and the Orthodox Church, but I'm noting the signs of sincerity consistantly. Great!

More profoundly, God judges Nations as Nations. He Judged Israel in Matthew 25 and in 70 AD Jerusalem and the Temple was destroyed.

Evil nations like China and Russia may prosper for a time, but the evil will catch up with them.

Even America - especially America, when I'm watching people sort themselves - you can feel the evil in places with your spirit, and people are moving out like Lot got out of Sodom. His wife didn't quite make it.

There will be revival, a new awakening, thanksgiving, and judgment, but I don't know the order.

That is why Christendom will endure. It's okay to be a Christian, and Jesus said if you AREN'T suffering persecution, you are lukewarm or doing something wrong.

Where are the white Christians (especially men) who should have been there to oppose Abortion, Sexual Immorality, Pornography, the empire quagmire wars of aggression (which itself is likely a judgment), and the rest of the evil since the 1960's at least? Cucking is bad enough, but worse when the cuckold child is the anti-Christ.

All the way through the last book of the bible nations are mentioned. Since we know who the king of this world is, why would we want to make things simpler for him by all being under one banner? All signs point to one banner being his and not our Lord's.

Blogger CarpeOro February 27, 2018 8:30 AM

To clarify, when the day comes that it is our Lord's banner it will be brought about by his son - not us.

Amen. Although I recall reading just how frustrated Moses was trying to guide that one specific nation. Worse than herding cats

It is especially ironic that groups like the Democrat Party (or Canada's Liberals) spend a great deal of time pandering to and fostering "identity politics" within the country (breaking people into mutually hostile tribes to divide and conquer), yet are dedicated to Globalism externally.

Does it ever occur to them that a seething collection of mutually hostile tribes inside their own borders isn't likely to be accepting of external Globalist overlords? Or are they hoping the various fragmented groups will be unable and unwilling to resist, rather than begin an insurgency against their new overlords?

Blogger KBuff February 27, 2018 9:36 AM

From what I could tell, NBC downplayed it. You could barely hear them on the broadcast, even when they passed one of their cameras along the line of Russian players during the anthem.

Is it wrong for a Christain to enjoy the Olympics on principle then? Or are you refering to how they are currently portrayed? I always appreciated the emotions associated with the Olympics which I had believed to be at first a matter of pride and second a feelings of goodwill towards another nations and celebrating sporting. Have I been a fool then?

Blogger Farinata February 27, 2018 10:11 AM

@VD

"to oppose God himself." Are you speaking prescriptively, about how things really ought to be to accord with justice? Or descriptively, as if we can be sure that the New Babel won't ever succeed in its current schemes?

When last I checked, the Olympic Athletes from Russia only had 2 gold medals from this Winter Olympics; but one was for Men's Ice Hockey.

If you only had to pick one, that'd be the one I'd want. Best team sport at the winter games and it went to Russia for the first time in a long time. They have every right and reason to be proud.

Churchian's confuse God's admonishment of "no greek or jew" and salvation with "Nations don't exist, when clearly God says through David his Psalmist

Psalsm 22:28 For kingship belongs to the LORD,
and he rules over the nations.

"King" denotes authority over a nation or kingdom. "King of Kings" is a one with the power and authority over many nations or kingdoms.

Why is this such a hard concept? God established will rule over the kingdoms and we all will worship the King of Kings but we all are still part of a nation among nations all of which given salvation from the King of Kings.

Pretty much.

Blogger Jack Amok February 27, 2018 12:21 PM

Huh, well that explains something. I heard some random announcer say "Olympic athletes from Russia" a few days ago, and thought that was an odd phrase to use. I didn't realize the Rooskies had gotten in trouble with the IOC.

Which, BTW, isn't the IOC under some sort of corruption investigation?

No you haven't been a fool. You've been watching the sports while they ramp up the emotional manipulation under our noses. It used to be patriotic emotional manipulation, and that worked well in the Olympics. Now that we are supposed to be enlightened in the global new world order, the national anthems and national pride run counter to the programming and create dissonance. The Olympics are starting to look like an over-shiny remake rather than an authentic sporting event. Converged?

Blogger Matthew February 27, 2018 9:28 PM

I appreciate your answer, I understand what you mean. The Olympics has become another converged outlet, perhaps one day we shall build a replacement.

Haha, gotta love the Russians - thay are so in the face of the happy-clappy-muh-feelz-faggot-Western globohomos. Keep on being Russians, Russia!
Also, a big shout out to the Russian Armed Forces, which are one of the last major bulwarks remaining against said globohomos getting their one world government.
