A win-win

More jobs for the working class supporters, fewer jobs for the chattering class enemy:
The Tampa Bay Times announced that it would cut about 50 jobs after new tariffs imposed by the Trump administration dramatically increased the cost of newsprint. A spokeswoman for the Times confirmed the layoffs to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, saying they are directly in response to the tariffs imposed on newsprint imported from Canada. The Times spokeswoman declined to say how many of the layoffs would be within the paper’s newsroom, but said that the "cuts are taking place throughout the organization."
That's how you do it. The God-Emperor would do well to aggressively seek more of these heads my people win, tails yours lose actions.

Meanwhile 4chan is destroying Starcucks by printing fake posters and coupons promoting free coffee for blacks. Crashing this brand with no survivors. This is the world you made shitlibs.

4chan is the raw, weaponized Nemesis of the Cathedral. For every action there is an equal, and opposite reaction.

HAH! For those who don't know, the Tampa Bay Times runs Politifact. This makes me laugh, very loudly.

The left will eat itself...and still blame Trump.

Literally hundred of thousands of acres of timberland burn down in the USA (along with hundred of homes!) because the Feds disallow responsible cutting of public lands due to liars claims about owl habitats and such. Jobs dry up and whole generations end up in poverty because of the destruction of the American timber industry.

But it’s totally cool to import newsprint from Canada at cheaper rates (until Trump tariffs) and let the nanucks destroy snow owl habitats up there.

There is a reason there are no Starbucks here in the vibrant part of Minneapolis. But there's a lot in the Skyway (tm) downtown, and it's going to be interesting for those stores. Lots of panhandlers willing to hang out and drink Maumau coffee there.

Politifact wouldn't do anything based on politics. That's unthinkable

Blogger Damn Crackers April 19, 2018 2:03 PM one reads print newspaper anymore. So, let's blame Trump for our losses! Like the Chinese are dying to know about the Labor Day sale at Dillard's.

Trump should require newspapers to file environmental impact papers for the wood pulp they use once a month. For starters.

Check out what the new tax code is doing to California - massive tax hikes on rich Californians who were deducting state income & property taxes. But now there's a $10k cap on those deductions.

Now all of those rich shitlibs who said they could afford to pay more taxes finally get the opportunity they've been demanding.

R@16: Yes, I was so happy to see Jerry Moonbeam whine about how CA was attacked by the Trump tax change. It's a joy to see them squeal like crying hypocrite bitches they always have been.

Agree. Hollywood and Jimmy Kimmel want to cry about sick babies?

No problem. Hollywood taxes time. Box office receipts, pass-through taxes on back end revenue sharing, and an excise tax on "luxury" TV programming.

And don't forget things like confiscatory taxes on income earned in certain industries that export a bad image of America. I think a 90% top marginal rate sounds right to me.

Blogger owlish April 19, 2018 5:39 PM

Ooh, a tax on "luxury" tv. I like it. After all, we want to encourage people to get away from the screen, right?

It's so gratifying to see Starbucks taking responsibility for the legacy of privilege and paying some reparations, however minute.

Of all the restrooms I can choose from, it makes me want to use theirs the most.

@8 - Exporting environmental disasters rather any responsible approach to the production of the "necessities" of modern living has always been just fine with the green commies, who can feel superior while staring at iPhones and advocating solar panels mostly because of their astonishing ignorance of how anything works.
