Google, the Damned

Fox News notes that the satanists at Google ostentatiously refuse to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
For the 18th year in a row, Google has no doodle to celebrate Easter, and Christians are angry on this holy day.

Paul Joseph Watson, Infowars editor-at-large, tweeted Sunday about Christianity’s most joyful day: ‏”So Google has a doodle for every obscure ‘woke’ person/event imaginable, but nothing for Easter? #EasterSunday”

James Woods retweeted it, saying: “They loathe Christians. Plain and simple.”
A spokesdemon defended the depraved corporation with all the adroitness and honesty of its Father, the Devil.
'Doodles may appear for some non-religious celebrations that have grown out of religious holidays, such as Valentine's Day, Holi's Festival of Colors, Tu B'Av and the December holiday period, but we don't include religious imagery or symbolism as part of these.'
Yes, who doesn't celebrate whatever 2B'@Vz  is supposed to be? You know, there appears to be an observable pattern here....

I'm not angry, myself. I'm just amused. Because one day every knee shall bow before Jesus Christ and every tongue will admit that he is Lord, including those belonging to these angry, evil people exhibiting their impotence in such a foolish and petty manner.

Blogger James Dixon April 03, 2018 11:05 AM

It's enough to make me wish I were competent with GreaseMonkey. It would be fun to come up with a script to superimpose an Easter Doodle on their page, make it available to folks, and let them know it was out there. I'm sure wailing and gnashing of teeth would commence.

I'd love to see a companion to this with all the bio's they shove down your throats. I've never heard of 99% of the people they elevate, and I'm a fairly well-read person. Maybe that's the point? But I also thought to myself "its strange that they want the whole world to know about a gay rights city alderman from San Francisco who was shot 40 years ago." I admit I didn't feel amusement but pity for how stupid they look.

On that day I hope schudenfraude is not a sin, or failing that, that my catholic belief in purgatory is true, otherwise I’m likely to go straight to Hell from the sheer pleasure of seeing these morons being cast down into their lakes of fire.

Reminds me of when Elvis died. CBS wasn't going to do anything. My station at the time could not believe it. The main producer said it was not even a decision. He, the crew and me then spent most of the night well into the wee hours doing darn fine job on it; interviewed many tearful Elvis fans while the station news group beat the bushes and found much B material. Producer gave network a heads up; they took our work with no changes and aired later that next morning. But, not before we did. In those days I found such exciting and uplifting. Really though, that producer was a cool dude. One of the few really competent tv news folks that was not a roaring liberal. Good man.

My favorite was when the Easter Google doodle was Ceasr Chavez.

And they selected a pic that made him look like the standard 1960s portrait of Jesus you'd find in your Mom or more likely Grandma's kitchen.

Chavez struck me as an odd choice given that he was sheer death on subject of illegals.

“...a surplus of labor enables growers to treat workers as little more that interchangeable parts, cheaper and easier to replace than machines.”

"You guys get these hang-ups. Goddamn it, how do we build a union? They’re wets, you know. They’re wets, and let’s go after them.’

GreaseMonkey runs on your own machine. It wouldn't actually change their page at all, merely the way it was displayed on the machine running it.

There's always the Babylon Bee....

“Just as Christ left a completely empty tomb, so we decided to leave our Google Doodle empty and blank in honor of this significant historical event,” Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in a special Easter address Sunday. “We didn’t want to do something cheesy or corny, but a mostly white search engine page seemed to communicate the proper level of reverence.”

I'm waiting for Google to celebrate Winnie Mandela with a doodle. Doodles always incorporate "google" into the design somehow. For the Winnie Mangela doodle, the "OO" could be a pair of burning tires, and the "L" a rectangular gasoline can.

You missed a few keystrokes Vox: (((SPLC)))
It's a lot like a jerk who every time he's near a dog, kicks at it. At first Fido is simply confused, was just minding his own business and some jerk kicks him. Then it keeps happening, Fido's getting ticked, starts growling. The kicking continues, Fido's growls whenever he sees jerk. The kicking continues, Fido's starting to snap at the jerk. Finally Fido gets another kick and bites - hard, draws blood. Whose fault was that? The jerk who won't stop kicking the dog, or the dog for biting?
I'm trying to warn (((the tribe))), the dog's growling pretty loud now, maybe they consider not kicking it anymore?

CBS was in a very awkward position when the news broke that Elvis died. They were preparing to do a TV special featuring him. Trouble was the footage they got was, in a word, awful. They were planning on redoing it - but obviously they couldn't. So, they went with what they did have. To this day it's considered one of the worst TV specials of all time.

No religious imagery or symbolism? What, then, are those Tablets doing there? 'Tis impossible to restate that in purely secular terms. Do try tho, especially in comparison to how it is apparently impossible to see, say, Os replaced with coloured eggs as anything other than use of some explicitly religious imagery...

I know. That was not our work. In those days I was a technician running the night time side with out first microwave van. So, I got to work all night and into the next day. They did air what we put together the next morning, after he died, but after we did. Don, the producer, made darn sure they did not get it before we hit air. In those days techs at most levels in broadcasting were conservative and even what we might call alt right today. It was a chore to work with the libs but the pay was good.

"Don't be evil" struck me as the sort of meaningless twee b.s. that would appeal to the sort of coddled adult children who see bouncy houses and pogo sticks as appealing workplace perks.

It isn't just Trump that seems to have surprised them. They were just as unprepared for the emergence of smart individuals from the grass roots who can expose their cheap deceptions across alternative channels. Their attempted crack down is too late.

Interesting thought from article on WND, "The Man Who Made the World Just a Little Bit Smaller" an article about Samuel Morse. Jedediah Morse, Samuel's father said, “If so, it follows, that all efforts to destroy the foundations of our holy religion, ultimately tend to the subversion also of our political freedom and happiness. Whenever the pillars of Christianity shall be overthrown, our present republican forms of government, and all the blessings which flow from them, must fall with them.”

Prophetic words from over 200 years ago...

Blogger William Gleason April 04, 2018 8:45 AM

Since google has become so evil, I am quite content that they should ignore my faith. In the same way that Christ silenced the demons from speaking His holy name because they have no claim on the Good, so google should not try to represent the Christian religion. They would only blaspheme it.
