I don't... I won't... I can't even

I actually like the new Ladybaby single better than either of the two new Babymetal songs. And yes, the one doing the Ladybeard-style growl is actually Emiri, the girl with the pink hair. Just when you think Japan can't possibly get any weirder or more awesome, they outdo themselves.

Meanwhile, Babymetal is getting too focused on narrative, over-the-top presentation, and English lyrics, and the music is suffering as a result. Do not like.

LadyBaby is pretty good. Have you heard BandMaid?

Perhaps you should offer up consultation. For a suitable fee, of course. After all, The Dark Lord is The Dark Lord and cannot work for free except in the most unusual of circumstances.

Didn't they have some jacked guy wearing dresses at some point?

Pendulum called, they want their song back, minus the Batman growling.

The Babymetal video has several crucial things wrong.
Doesn't show the 3 main characters doing their stuff. Horrible mistake.
The "heroine" has short hair, can't even tell if is woman or man. Horrible mistake. Babymetal fans love the cute girls combined with Heavy Metal.
The "heroine" in the video looks like a villain herself. Seriously, in many other videos from a less converged age, someone who looks like that character would be the main villainess. Horrible mistake.

The music is okay, maybe even good, but a large part of Babymetal appeal is the combo of kawaii with great choreography and the great backup band.

Band-Maid is pretty good. I like them.

Ladybaby. Baby Metal. Baby this baby that. Baby baby, on baby!

Not exactly stuff mailmen whistle while they work, is it?

Every time you post videos like this, two things come to mind.

A) How can they be so hard-core metal but so cute and have such positive lyrics?

B) When does the anime start? (seriously it sounds like the intro music to every anime ever)

"We came as Romans" were doing this prog metal/pop crossover stuff years ago. I think it has more appeal when cute Asian chicks are doing it though.

The growls remind of that abysmal screamo crap that befouled the music scene a bunch of years ago. If you want to see if something so atrocious can actually physically harm you check out the 'band' BrokenCyde. Then don't blame me.

As for Babymetal; that last album was so fucking good (if about 2-3 songs too long). It'll be interesting to see where they go now that they've brought all this other weird shit into the mix. And whether the recent absence of one of them is some part of the storyline, or if they ran her little slanty-eyed ass ragged and she collapsed.

I've heard that sometimes they have to carry the singer chick out into an ambulance after shows, that's how hard those bitches work on stage.

Another recommendation here for BandMaid.

Their gimmick is dumb but they rock the fuck out.

Japanese screamo was fun for some for a time and its not now.

Here its a headache and where's the choreo? I want real routines with my chocolate not this and not Distortion.

Pink Manson needs to go. Trio is best.

Also their logo isn't satanic

I looked at the Distortion video and found it quite occult- and they were saying 'give up' rather than ganbaro.

I think the combination of the girls and metal led them towards epic themes, like what we see in fairy tales. There is a huge gaping hole in music- as I can attest to every time I go to the gym. The music might be good enough to work out to, but the lyrics will be depressing. Or the music sucks. Or both. Often both.

But this was pretty good:

The Babymetal vid has a problem a lot of them lately have. The song might be good but the vid either cheezy or has no relation to what you might assume for the song. One of the recent Stryper vids same thing. Song rocks, but the vid is stupid.

Agreed. Did not like.

What is the name of the song in the original post?

This is a dance group. It is past time for The Recording Academy to admit that these days, dance is a recording art. They should then apologise to Milli Vanilli and give them their grammy back.
