Austria closes mosques

And repatriates foreign-funded imams:
Austria said today it could expel up to 60 Turkish-funded imams and their families and would shut down seven mosques as part of a crackdown on 'political Islam' that was described as 'just the beginning', triggering fury in Ankara.

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the government is shutting a hardline Turkish nationalist mosque in Vienna and dissolving a group called the Arab Religious Community that runs six mosques.

His coalition government, an alliance of conservatives and the far right, came to power soon after Europe's migration crisis on promises to prevent another influx and clamp down on benefits for new immigrants and refugees.

In a previous job as minister in charge of integration, Chancellor Kurz oversaw the passing of a tough 'law on Islam' in 2015, which banned foreign funding of religious groups and created a duty for Muslim societies to have 'a positive fundamental view towards (Austria's) state and society'.

'Parallel societies, political Islam and radicalisation have no place in our country,' Kurz told a news conference outlining the government's decisions, which were based on that law.

'This is just the beginning,' far-right Vice Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache added.
It's a good start. But they are going to need to do the same thing to organizations and individuals funded by George Soros too.

Further proof the multicultural democratic society is dying. Does society go to oligarchy or monarchs in the next 15-20 years? That's the big question. How are societies going to restructure themselves after the collapse be it extremely violent or merely semi.

Could shift to nationalist republics. Guaranteed liberties to its citizenry and none to outsiders. Keeps the freedoms important to that nation without extending them to anyone else. Like the American constitution if it was applied exclusively to actual Americans and had no method of being reinterpreted to apply to foreigners, and the country had no legal/illegal immigration.

A comment on Austria's "Islamgesetz" (Law regulating Islam) and "multiculturalism". That law was first introduced in 1912, in the days of the Austro-Hungarian empire. Which of course was multicultural, and perished a few years later.

However the Austrian empire wasn't nearly as stupid about multiculturalism as today's European countries. After they drove back the Ottomans and annexed Bosnia, which was mostly mohammedan, they had the then-unusual situation of having mohammedans as actual core imperial subjects. That wasdifferent from perhaps running colonial projects in mohammedan countries. So quite rightly they figured out they needed to regulate by law what the position of mohammedans was going to be.

The law was reformed in 2015 after it had been irrelevant for a long time. Austria doesn't have any other laws regulating any other religious community. There isn't a 'Buddhism law' etc.

That's because the Austrians have remained smart enough to realize that Islam isn't just a religion, it also prescribes its own law and society, which is incompatible with European law and society.

Therefore, any society that has Muslims and wants to remain European at the very least has to regulate them.

This is of course only intermediate - of course the longer term result will be that they won't really accept that -- that's when you replace the Law for Regulation on Islam with the Law on Extirpation of Islam.

But at the least the existence of regulative legislation specifically on the practice of Islam shows that the Austrians are on the right path.

@21 "And he faces Turkish voters on June 24."
He is losing some support in Turkey proper mostly due to the economic effects and his by now obvious megalomania.

However the Turkish diaspora in Europe will win this for him, even without any ballot stuffing and cheating.

There are millions of Turks in Europe who get their islamic supremacy boost from Erdogan but don't have to live with the real-life day to day side effects on economy and society, after all they benefit from their European host economy.

However the political extremism of the Turkish 'immigrant' communities has caused a lot of Europeans to wake up to the fact that they aren't immigrants, they're settlers who have set up Turkish subnations on the soil of European countries.

Blogger eyeslevel June 08, 2018 1:23 PM

Islam is a collection of racial supremacisms. Imagine something like Eastern Orthodox where each nationality has its own version, then remove their natural human empathy, and add a religious mandate to lie, rob, enslave, and take over the world.

So it's "racist" because what Austria has banned is actually better termed Turkism (and Saudism and Iranism and so on). But you would have to be suicidal to allow it.

1758 Law of Nations by Emer de Vattel says you inherit your national birth right from your father (his birth place). But if he's got split aliegegence then I'm not sure.

According to that the immigrants have not national rights, merely citizen privelages (granted, can be taken away) and not till their grandsons do they have a right. I'd consider they need have no other place to go and be without split aliegegence. Turkey is obviously an alternative aliegegence.

The west could lawfully flick back to respecting only nationals and never paper-citizens to get rid of the undesirables. Making them want to leave is the not so gentle art of persuasion which may arise.

"It is quite legitimate for nations to treat their differences as a sacred inheritance and guard them at all cost." - Pope Pius XII, 1876- 1958

A nation is a community of people who share a common language, culture, values, traditions, ethnicity, descent, and history.

"The "nation," of course, is not the same thing as the State, a difference that earlier libertarians and classical liberals such as Ludwig von Mises and Albert Jay Nock understood full well." ~ Rothbard

"Contemporary libertarians often assume, mistakenly, that individuals are bound to each other only by the nexus of market exchange. They forget that everyone is necessarily born into a family, a language, and a culture. Every person is born into one or several overlapping communities, usually including an ethnic group, with specific values, cultures, religious beliefs, and traditions. He is generally born into a "country." He is always born into a specific historical context of time and place, meaning neighborhood and land area."

Blogger Francis Parker Yockey June 09, 2018 11:07 AM

Turkey condemns Austria's 'racist' move to close seven mosques.

By attempting to attach the "racist" slur to this Austrian decision, the Turks are implicitly admitting that the underlying problem is not "radicalization," or even Islam itself -- it is the ongoing physical invasion by people of an alien race , not just the spread of an alien cullture and religion.

"Diversity" causes "racism." And the solution to "racism?" Close the borders, expel the invaders, and crush the traitors. No Turk; no "racism."

Blogger Lovekraft June 09, 2018 2:44 PM

Keep note of who will oppose Austria's move:

politicians like Trudeau, Merkel
the Pope
Obama
legacy media
Soros-funded activist network
