Run, Bill, run!

Because the French/McMuffin debacle wasn't embarrassing enough, the traitorous Trotskyite is considering the possibility of seeking even more humiliation in 2020:
Bill Kristol, the former editor-in-chief of The Weekly Standard, is considering challenging President Donald Trump in the 2020 Republican primary.

Kristol, who is consistently one of the most vocal anti-Trump Republicans, has been considering a run for months, a source familiar with Kristol’s thinking told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Kristol, who remains an editor-at-large for the Standard, said he has no plans to run but declined to rule it out when asked by TheDCNF.

“No plans to run. But I’m randomly in Boston today, and happen to have had lunch with someone who does a lot of work in New Hampshire,” Kristol wrote in an email. “As he’d say, ‘Ya nevah know.'”

The New Hampshire primary, the second electoral contest after the Iowa Caucuses, is a key hurdle in the presidential nominating process.

Kristol previously sparked 2020 rumors in March when he popped up in New Hampshire to speak at “a must-show event for potential presidential contenders,” as Inside Sources noted at the time.
While I would love to see Kristol the Younger repeatedly humiliated on a national stage, trying to argue his Israel First policies in public against the God-Emperor, even he is not quite that stupid. Captain Underoos, on the other hand, just might be.

A guess because for me he has no real appeal as a candidate, I end up wondering why it is he thinks he has a following.

Bill, although it does not seem possible, is more vile than the actual Left. He should run, wearing clown makeup.

Isnt he a dual citizen who's son chose to serve in the Israeli military rather than the American military? Trump could make hay out of that tidbit. What a shameless foreign agent.

Blogger Mr.MantraMan July 31, 2018 8:29 AM

I read the article and my opinion of Kristol actually rose, but only because of the goyimkopf goofs such as McMuffin, Romney and Thor as comparisons.

I imagine when Kristol is at some sort of shul that he and his people guffaw at the clowns such as Thor or Egghead who actually think "conservatism" is about principles.

Blogger Looking Glass July 31, 2018 8:32 AM

Kristol is talking about running in 2020 (again) and Trump lights up the Koch Brothers in the same day.

These can't be unrelated, but it's hilarious to watch the Master work. However, it needs to be noted, that the only way for the UniParty to take down Trump is to get a legitimate 3rd Party Candidate that can shed off Centrist Republicans. We do have to make note that Trump is functionally Perot, as it is, so it'd take the real tightrope of a candidate that would do enough damage to get a Democrat into office.

One upside for Trump is that the reality of the Controlled Opposition from DC is that it has left no one "political viable" that's actually to his Right. At least with national exposure.

How do you virtue signal these days to the Prog Borg? The old scam was for the bow ties to garner the "Respectable" label and then brow beat the peasants with it good and hard.

But everyday Trump stirs the hornets of the Left into a tizzy and lo and behold not even Kristol and his clown crew can be bestowed with the golden bow tie.

Why would anyone be surprised at a dual citizen serving with Israeli rather than US military.

The term Israeli firster should be used more often with these people. Dual loyalty is an oxymoron.

Blogger Cataline Sergius July 31, 2018 9:17 AM

Romney is going to try and run some kind of spoiler campaign.

It's the only reason he's running for the Senate. He wants to be the voice of "principled conservatism."

Since he lost to McCain in 2008 I'm not all that worried.

We all know that one of the Cucks is going to try and be King Cuck.

And I'm all in favor of it.

After their final humiliation in 2020, the Cucks will start skulking back to the Democrats.

Although I don't know how receptive they will be. They have their own civil war to deal with just now. It's possible that a newly displaced White Democratic leadership may be very welcoming to our Cucks indeed.

If so, I wish them joy of those useless bastards.

Perot helped Bubba over finish line. That's my point. And so the Dems wish it with Kristol nonetheless.
The other guy was right about the 12 votes. It won't work this time for the Dems -- no one likes Kristol. 10% liked Perot enough to vote for him. Bubba was left standing with the most votes (less than 50%) at the end of the day. Had it been a 2-way, Bush would likely have won.

Blogger Troushers July 31, 2018 10:57 AM

Bill Kristol has the intellectual weight and meticulous manners to appeal to the American working class. He gained a lot of experience, which can only help him, after some teething problems with Ed McMuffin campaign -such as missing ballot deadlines and adding in some random friend as Vice President, only to realise later it couldn't be changed.

He could campaign under a MIGA banner, and support population replacement, more financial support for ailing publishers with diminishing subscriptions, code camps for the Heartland, tax cuts, and whatever the Democrats say makes you not racist that week.

I truly hope he will run. Imagine the Ed McMuffin campaign 2.0 - now with even less personal appeal.

Blogger Shimshon July 31, 2018 10:58 AM

@23 Perot was likely coopted by the Deep State at some point. Despite being right about everything (the giant sucking sound etc). He was probably far more naive than Trump about its nature. IIRC he was consistently winning handily in the polls, until he went erratic and dropped out of the race for short time. Never recovered after that. Then when he reentered, all he could do is act as spoiler for Bush to ensure Clinton's victory.

Kristol absolutely should run in 2020 and he should do so as a Democrat. They are more likely to vote for him anyway.

Besides, rumor has it that the Democrats are having difficulty finding a candidate who is neither a communist (like Bernie) nor a determined socialist (like most of them).

They may have to do like the Republicans and run someone who was not born in the USA and insist it is still constitutional. That could work as long as the candidate is a foreign-born Hispanic. The black voters would not notice and the Lefty white Democrat voters would think it funny.

Blogger Uncle John's Band July 31, 2018 11:17 AM

Kristol is loathsome even by globalist standards. He has always personified a certain kind of Dunning-Kruger that comes from never having to have had to work for anything. His written and spoken record suggests midwit might be a stretch, but I suspect he actually thinks his cringeworthy stilted speech patterns signify cleverness. You only have to look at where Conservative Inc. was when he inherited the WS and where it is now to see the traditional ineptitude and arrogance of the trust fund idiot. The cucks, like the rest of the left, need control of the microphone; their respectable surrender is rhetorically repulsive and dialectically incoherent.

The idea of primarying Trump is proof of their irrelevance. Look at his historical approval among Republicans. The never-Trump snakes started by hiding in the crowd of trad-cons “concerned” with the GE’s manner, but these have moved towards acceptance of MAGA, the traitors are increasingly exposed for what they are. The more this smug bag of suet shows himself, the faster the cucks spiral into nothingness. Remember what we know about the cabal. The likes of Kristol are their bacha bazi lickspittles.

Blogger camcleat July 31, 2018 11:28 AM

"We do have to make note that Trump is functionally Perot"

Can you imagine, in a moment of purely speculative fantasy, where we'd be now if Perot had won?

Perot was not Trump, but I think he was a necessary step to eventually get Trump.

A Perot victory in 1992:

No 8 years of Clinton
No 8 years of Bush
No 8 years of Obama
No NAFTA
No Patriot Act

24 year head start on someone with business sense working toward MAGA.

Of course, all of that could have still happened. It's very likely Perot would not have survived his first term. The country as a whole just was not ready to take on the Deep State or admit it even existed.

The Cucks still totally ruled the Right; a Perot victory would have had them fightin' mad.

Of course he's a dual-citizen. I think Max Boot would be the perfect running mate, or perhaps David French to bring along the worshippers of the Judeo-Christ Moloch. Might be a bit difficult for Trump to mention this as his own son-in-law is a dual-citizen as well.

The only thing I don't like about the excitement for the worst candidates to run against Trump, is that Trump doesn't need the worst opponent in order for Trump to win. It's practically an insult to him. I can't imagine anyone standing a chance against Trump at this point. He already has a miraculous success record as a president and still no one is as unapologetically non-PC as he is. He's still finding novel ways to outsmart, insult (those who deserve it), and open eyes to what we once took for granted.

Bill Kristol, the former editor-in-chief of The Weekly Standard, is considering challenging President Donald Trump in the 2020 Republican primary.

I was expecting the never-Trumpers to field candidates to try to harm President Trump since they would rather lose to the Democrats than lose their control of the GOP. This may be the first of many or only a trial balloon, but I expect them to find some opposition candidates for the primary.

Side note: Trump would be guaranteed to win in a landslide if he got the wall built. But he would also win in a landslide of epic proportions if he withdrew all troops from Europe and put them on the southern border with shoot to kill orders.

"Nah, they should be forced to decide which country they want to be citizens of and give up one."

All we have to do is prohibit anyone with U.S. citizenship having "dual-citizenship". Make it right up there with no U.S. citizen being allowed to hold any title of nobility.

And then, since Isreal won't allow a Jew to be deprived of Isreali citizenship, ALL of them can have their U.S. citizenship (and most importantly, ALL of their voting rights) removed as a simple administrative action.

As Rabbi B has noted, the ONLY way for a Jew to be denied Isreali citizenship is to COMPLETE God's instructions given to the Hebrews, and become a Christian.

The likes of Sarah Silverman would rather die than convert.

Combine that with one of Mexico's better laws -- an ABSOLUTE prohibition on non-citizens partaking in politics in ANY way -- not only giving campaign donations and volunteering for campaigns, but also prohibitions on even wearing a political pin-on button or displaying a political sign in the yard. All with hefty jail time for interefering with Mexico's citizens' conversation among themselves as to who are the best candidates and what are the best policies for Mexico and Mexicans, not visitors.

Destroying an overwhelming portion of their perverse political power would get convince a lot of them to "make aliyah" much sooner rather than later.

A friend and colleague gave me a spy thriller by Daniel Silva. I'd never heard of him but all of us who travel regularly are always on the lookout for good airport/plane fodder - the Jack Reacher kind of mindless Manichean stories that make it easier to fall asleep in a large aluminium tube of 300 other people's bad breath, smelly feet, and recycled farts.

It's not a bad story even though the standard US-centric "west good, east bad" nonsense is there it's not overly intrusive and you can look past the thinly disguised characterisations of Cameron as some kind of noble statesman and Putin as Hitler 4.0 ...

However, at the end of the book he spends several thousand words demonising Putin, claiming that the KGB is running Russia and claiming that Putin is worse than Stalin, aiming at world domination through control of energy supplies.

("Who isn't?" would seem to be the natural question, but again there's the standard bullshit exceptionalist undercurrent of "It's not wrong when WE do it!" (because we're the good guys by self-definition, which is not at all suspicious.))

So then there's a list of 20 or so previous best sellers in similar vein, all manically plugged by the NYT, the Washington Post, and all the other usual suspects.

And then you look at the picture and the bell starts to ring. And then the bio:

- former UPI, CNN journalist
- former producer of Crossfire and the Capital Gang
- serves (who?, one wonders) on the US Holocaust Memorial Council
- married to an NBC reporter on international affairs
- raised Catholic, converted to Judaism as an adult

Seems your (((fellow Americans))) haven't forgiven Russia for abandoning their imported world domination plan and looking after themselves.
