The end of world revolution

This is a particularly interesting article on the end of the Bilderberg era in light of some of the rumors that are supposedly coming out of the most recent Bilderberg meeting. And notice how it all just keeps going back to Leon Trotsky:
The beginning of the end of the Bilderberg/Soros vision is in sight. The Old Order will cling on, even to the last of its fingernails. The Bilderberg vision is the notion of multi-cultural, international cosmopolitanism that surpasses old-time nationalism; heralding the end of frontiers; and leading toward a US-led, ‘technocratic’, global economic and political governance. Its roots lie with figures such as James Burnham, an anti-Stalin, former Trotskyite, who, writing as early as 1941, advocated for the levers of financial and economic power being placedin the hands of a management class: an élite – which alone would be capable of running the contemporary state – thanks to this élite’s market and financial technical nous. It was, bluntly, a call for an expert, technocratic oligarchy.

Burnham renounced his allegiance to Trotsky and Marxism, in all its forms in 1940, but he would take the tactics and strategies for infiltration and subversion, (learned as a member of Leon Trotsky’s inner circle) with him, and would elevate the Trotskyist management of ‘identity politics’ to become the fragmentation ‘device’ primed to explode national culture onto a new stage, in the Western sphere. His 1941 book, “The Managerial Revolution,” caught the attention of Frank Wisner, subsequently, a legendary CIA figure, who saw in the works of Burnham and his colleague a fellow Trotskyite, Sidney Hook, the prospect of mounting an effective alliance of former Trotskyites against Stalinism.

But, additionally, Wisner perceived its merits as the blueprint for a CIA-led, pseudo-liberal, US-led global order. (‘Pseudo’, because, as Burnham articulated clearly, in The Machiavellians, Defenders of Freedom, his version of freedom meant anything but intellectual freedom or those freedoms defined by America’s Constitution. “What it really meant was conformity and submission”).

In short, (as Paul Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Gould have noted), “by 1947, James Burnham’s transformation from Communist radical, to New World Order American conservative was complete. His Struggle for the World, [converted into a memo for the US Office of Strategic Services (OSS, the forerunner of CIA)], had done a ‘French Turn’ on Trotsky’s permanent Communist revolution, and turned it into a permanent battle plan for a global American empire. All that was needed to complete Burnham’s dialectic was a permanent enemy, and that would require a sophisticated psychological campaign to keep the hatred of Russia alive, “for generations”.

What has this to do with us today? A ‘Burnham Landscape’ of apparently, ‘centrist’ European political parties, apparently independent think-tanks, institutions, and NATO structures, was seeded by CIA – in the post war era of anti-Sovietism – across Europe, and the Middle East – as part of Burnham’s ‘battle plan’ for a US-led, global ‘order’. It is precisely this élite: i.e. Burnham’s oligarchic technocracy, that is facing political push-back today to the point at which the Liberal Order feels that it is struggling for its very survival against “the enemy in the White House”, as the editor of Spiegel Online has termed President Trump.
"Burnham renounced his allegiance to Trotsky and Marxism, in all its forms in 1940."

Sure he did. The Scarlet Pill, redder than red, is to grasp the fact that the Trotskyite communists, the World Revolutionaries, the Neoliberal world order, the New World Order, Bilderberg, the neoconservatives, the Never Trumpers, NATO, the European Unionists, and the Silicon Valley technocracy are all different aspects of the same thing. And their latest vision for global empire has observably failed, and failed faster and more conclusively than anyone would have imagined.

It will be very interesting to learn if the elite can learn from its failures or not. There have been rumors floating around that the European migration is to be reversed for fear that the whole thing will come crashing down amidst a series of large-scale civil wars. Maybe saner minds have prevailed, maybe the God-Emperor is behind it, or maybe it's just fake news.

Interesting times, to be sure.

There are quite a lot of old Catholic prophecies detailing the near destruction of Europe by Islam. I remember reading these as a chiseler and thinking that such a thing could never happen in my lifetime. As I am currently middle-aged I am increasingly convinced I will now see such a horror come to pass, or at least begin in earnest.

What ails the world today is fundamentally spiritual in nature. Politics alone cannot fix the sickness that now infects the West. God, it seems, has a history of allowing his people to brought to the brink before redemption is achieved. Prepare yourselves for the worst is my advice.

The history books written about this period of time we are living in are going to be incredibly eye opening. The culmination of decades long plans and schemes seem to be falling apart before our eyes. Hopefully all of the threads can be tied together so those who want to learn can learn from the mistakes of the past. No matter what, it certainly won't be boring.

Blogger tuberman July 15, 2018 8:33 AM

I do not think this will go to the brink. I see Poland, Hungary, East Europe, and even Austria and Italy as the signs of what will follow. There will be a lot of clean up after Trotsky Elites lose power in counties like the UK, France, Germany, and the Nordic countries... killing, yes, but not all-out civil wars.

Trotsky elite lose power, then a major clean up.

You could say it's elitism versus populism, despite the fact that the very fields of study the elite are supposed to have mastered have proven time and time again that expert management of society fails, while populism works.

The loss of religious, national, and even personal identity is all tied together. It's a feedback loop with the revised Permanent Revolution 1.5.

I fully expect the Bilderbergers CFR and so forth to adopt a "lets you and him fight" strategy to pit various nationalist factions against each other, and then swooping in with a "was your racist nationalism worth it?" narrative and then come back with a roar and make quick and powerful strides towards their insane vision of one world government while we're all trying to pick up the pieces of what happened. Or at least, I expect them to make an attempt at this. And from the talk of "German wuss" this and "Englishman's posterity is not YOU" that and "Jew" this and that, the ground is pretty fertile to turn the nationalists against each other. Maybe some of it is justified but its the energy that could be converted into war fever.

As the architects of this become senile or die off and attempt to hand it to the next generation, it's clear the skill applied to information manipulation has fallen off sharply.

Had they simply pivoted from Russia to China, this construct might have worked, but at this point the utter transparency of anti-Russia propaganda is clear to all but the most Pavlovian automata.

I dare say they could STILL salvage a good portion of this agenda of theirs should they embrace the weight of the facts and shift their rhetoric toward China. This would put them in alignment with Trump and the Deplorables who back him for roughly 1 generation and in the process give them the breathing room they need to reset their approach.

The only thing truly required would be the presence of an implacable Enemy, and we now have a China which has pilfered our weapons technology via cyber-attack, is engaging in expansionism in the central and south pacific, engaged in 2 generations of economic warfare against the entire NATO bloc, and recently murdered all CIA Assets on their shores (something even the Soviets did not do).

This is why I believe the next generation taking the helm of this project is either ideologically "not on board" or are simply not nearly as socially competent as their elders. To the latter point, Zuck was invited to these bilderberg meetings about a half a decade back.

" Maybe saner minds have prevailed, maybe the God-Emperor is behind it, or maybe it's just fake news.

Interesting times, to be sure."

It's hard to tell with this generation of the Elites. The old guard, because of life extension technology, has far outlived any other generation. That's actually a problem, as everyone behind them is just as arrogant, but also far, far less competent. They've been overtaken by events, which is the first time since the end of WW2 that really has happened.

Thus, my thought is that they're trying to avoid their heads being on pikes. They've taken stock of modern communications and the reality that information can be transmitted instantly. "Flash Mobs" to sing songs randomly in a subway can pretty quickly morph into "Flash Assassination Mobs". It's one thing to manipulate people living in mud huts, but it's a lot harder to pull off the same tricks against the people that invented the technology you're using to do it. It's also noticeable that TV Propaganda worked a lot better on Boomers than it does on anyone after them. The Body is building an immunity to the old tricks.

Well over a decade ago, I had some interesting conversations with some Leftist/Socialist types. From a few moments of honesty, I was able to tease out that they have an instinctive fear of the French Revolution. The intelligent Leftists love minutia about nearly all other revolutions & big global events, going back hundreds of years, but the French Revolution is the black sheep of that discussion.

Hmm... Trotsky, Leftists & the French Revolution. I'm sure there's some writing on it.

https://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/1931/tpr/rp03.htm

"The Great French Revolution was indeed a national revolution. And what is more, within the national framework, the world struggle of the bourgeoisie for domination, for power, and for undivided triumph found its classical expression.

... Bourgeois hatred of revolution, its hatred towards the masses, hatred of the force and grandeur of the history that is made in the streets, is concentrated in one cry of indignation and fear – Jacobinism! We, the world army of Communism, have long ago made our historical reckoning with Jacobinism. The whole of the present international proletarian movement was formed and grew strong in the struggle against the traditions of Jacobinism. We subjected its theories to criticism, we exposed its historical limitations, its social contradictoriness, its utopianism, we exposed its phraseology, and broke with its traditions, which for decades had been regarded as the sacred heritage of the revolution."

"They are envied hopelessly by the bourgeois democrats of other countries; and yet they shower calumnies upon the source of their political advantage – heroic Jacobinism."

Oh, here's some damn hilarious irony:

"But as the logical conclusion from this is the demand for the arming of the people, this liberal philosopher finds it ‘necessary to add’ that ‘it is not at all necessary for everyone to bear arms’ in order to prevent reversals. It is only necessary that society itself shall be prepared to offer resistance – in what manner is not indicated. If any conclusion at all can be drawn from this, it is that in the hearts of our democrats the fear of the armed proletariat is greater than the fear of the soldiery of the autocracy."

That was a useful foray into reading a fool. They ignore Jacobinism because it's the specter that haunts them. Their glorious "Revolution" is always fighting against becoming another disaster like the French Revolution. Though, what they really seem to fear is the logical consequences. https://infogalactic.com/info/Reign_of_Terror

"Fossil Fuel" is anything but. It is actually Abiotic, caused by heat and pressure on Hydrocarbons beneath the earth's crust.

Look it up, seriously. The Russians have been drilling oil at 30-40,000 feet, which is far, far below the -18,000 feet at which evidence for organic life can be found. That is also why Russia has become a major net oil exporter... The presence of Abiotic Oil in ultra-deep wells is growing them economically at a fantastic pace.

"Fossil Fuels" organic origin is quite possibly the greatest con job ever created. The Oil lobbies, like the diamond cartels, have a vested interest in promoting a 'rare, costly, and limited' paradigm. The cornerstone of the trillions of dollars that the environmental lobby takes in is that all of oil's many valuable uses must be curtailed by any means.

Oil is brought to the surface by the Earth's rotation, and is made out of two of the most common elements in the universe. Our chances of 'running out' of deep Oil is about the same as those of our 'running out' of rock.

And all the bureaucracies are still designed for neoBabelism.

Strong leaders, encouraged by Trump, will make changes quicker but worldwide course reversal takes a change of mind in very many levels of government and in society at large, including the media. It will be a long struggle with results that many of us won't see.

It only takes application of basic logic and a cursory reading of the constitution to realize 2/3 of the government apparatus are unconstitutional usurpation of legislative or executive functions (with the explicit aim of removing electoral accountability).

Rabbi Altmann and his secretary were sitting in a coffeehouse in Berlin in 1935. "Herr Altmann," said his secretary, "I notice you're reading Der Stürmer! I can't understand why. A Nazi libel sheet! Are you some kind of masochist, or, God forbid, a self-hating Jew?"

"On the contrary, Frau Epstein. When I used to read the Jewish papers, all I learned about were pogroms, riots in Palestine, and assimilation in America. But now that I read Der Stürmer, I see so much more: that the Jews control all the banks, that we dominate in the arts, and that we're on the verge of taking over the entire world. You know – it makes me feel a whole lot better!"

SJWs should stop reading Fox News and stick to CNN and other fake news. They'd read about the failed Trump presidency and feel so much better. Maybe Trump can feed them stories about his impeachment and conviction, even arranging a Potemkin Congress and votes. With the retractions buried, and which no one ever reads, they'll be none the wiser.

Not sure where you're getting this 18000 ft depth limit on life. Oil doesn't need active live organisms to form, it just needs hydrocarbons, time and pressure. Is it possible for some fossil fuels to be generated abiotically? Yes. Are the useful ones abiotic? Not at drillable depths on Earth, at least not so far. And there's a huge difference between finding methane and long chain hydrocarbons - methane is pretty common and is relatively easy to generate without life, long chain hydrocarbons not so much.

As for what oil originally was, mostly different kinds of plant life. Some tiny fraction might have been actual animals but the vast majority is stuff like algae, peat, etc. Most of the coal we mine is the first trees that arose during a ~50 million year period during the Carboniferous prior to fungi developing that could break down cellulose. Trees and a lot of plants literally just laid where they fell until they were buried because the lifeforms that break them down hadn't evolved yet.

Revolutionaries fearing the French Revolution makes sense. After all, nearly all revolutionaries of ANY stripe eventually lost their heads in that slaughter, and the few that survived ended up fleeing Napoleon.

Even for revolutionaries too much revolution is the worst kind of problem to have - the idea is to survive the revolution, end it with you having rode the wave to a much improved position where you can be the new aristocracy - whether that's about actually being an aristocrat or "commissar" is immaterial. What revolutionaries feared the most was the counter-revolt that would restore the monarchy, and thus, end with their heads on pikes.

That's why all of the romantic revolutionaries are lined up against a wall and shot ASAP after the revolution has succeeded - who would trust them to be satisfied with just one revolution?

Americans don't give a damn about China except that they're taking our jobs. If our companies weren't shipping all of our jobs to China and importing junk in return, China could take over the rest of the world and we wouldn't care.

Why does everyone insist that a European ethnic cleansing would be 'that hard'? Historically, these are the most organizedly violent people on earth, next to the Mongol horde, which they studied: Rommel.

I think the difficult part was keeping everyone pacified and off the war pipe. Their naturally peaceful members fled to Mexico or America- the Mennonites are not a growing presence in Europe, and I never hear about Quakers getting lifey with demonstrations like they put on the the USA.

I think everyone is thinking about organized troops using conventional guns, or considering the peasant revolutions of the Far East. The biggest thing to notice about the Far East is that everyone is in poor health and there just isn't that much stuff being made or sold.

The Europeans are in better health- give or take major vitamin deficiencies from so much alcohol- versus inbred peasants- and the full abundance of Industrial Revolution culture- and just sheer technical skill! I mean, any one engineer is a walking encyclopedia of how to build, and how to take apart, anything. There are a lot of engineers in Europe.

As it is, any decent grocery store will have enough plastic bags to dispose of all the Muslims in a town, with about, maybe, ten people running the operation? There are garbage trucks and incinerators that already burn up biological waste, including aborted infants. I think people would prefer to kill enemies, rather than their own grandchildren, but I could be wrong.

They've got winter. They've got fishing boats. They've got container ships. They've got starving codfish and underfed sharks all around. They've got buses for mass transportation.

They've got large construction projects going on as we speak. They have habits from the Stone Age of putting people under buildings.

I would think that one wouldn't be patronizing about the great-grandchildren of any of the grand European armies. I think they need help-they are being gaslight, poisoned, culturally enstupidated- but I don't think the root stock is rotten.

Sounds plausible, ok, so where's the evidence that what this article says is true? Where are the footnotes? Where's the analysis of Dr. Samuel Francis, one of the greatest intellectual lions of the modern right, being duped by James Burnham's writings? No one knew Burnham's intellectual legacy better than Francis. "Burnham’s oligarchic technocracy", is enough to discredit this article. Burnham was studying the process that had been going on for decades. What did Trotsky have to do with what happened on Jekyll Island? Those were precisely the cosmopolitan elites that Burnham began to notice and wrote about profusely as his ideas evolved over 40 years. They weren't invented by him and the CIA sometime after 1941.

I am beginning to see the spin you've gotten caught up in Vox. Dump all of the blame on Trotsky to absolve Stalin (and his heir Putin) from the spread of globalism. Hydrocarbon fuels can be created by different processes each of which likely contributes to some percentage of the fuels we use today. The question is what process dominates fuel production by volume and, related, by how much insofar as it may/may not replenish fuel supply at a rate sufficient to allow humanity to remain dependant on "natural" long chain hydrocarbons for fuel.

Conventional understanding is that tiny life forms once lived in the sea when earth lacked appreciable oxygen died and were subsumed under the earth's crust then exposed to heat and pressure thus forming long chain hydrocarbons. This understanding has a number of demonstrable flaws yet there is compelling evidence presented that supports this form of anaerobic decomposition does produce vast majority long chain hydrocarbons currently being used for fuel on this planet.

Fairly recently proposed additional processes have been demonstrated to contend. These include discovered bacterial life forms live within earth's crust and their byproducts, combined with heat and pressure, have made our fuel. Another process being no life forms are involved, elements combine and are reformed into fuel molecules under heat and pressure to yield the long chain hydrocarbons. In addition, a carrier theory holds methane and other simple hydrocarbons were brought to ancient earth during earth's formation and heat, pressure and circulation converted them into long chain hydrocarbons.

If you accept mainstream "science," politics and other interests are honest players doing their best to reveal truth, then the first process I listed should remain prevailing theory of fuel production by volume used today unless and until other theories, including alternatives I listed, are demonstrated less compelling by volume. Right now opinions based on available facts can legitimately vary and simple declarative statements are unhelpful except to keep the unconventional explanations subject to continuing investigation.

#75: https://www.amazon.com/Cod-Biography-Fish-Changed-World/dp/0140275010

Cod have been overfished. The major fish caught after World War 1 and World War 2 tended to be larger than current sportfishing winners. This: https://www.amazon.com/Photo-Author-Ernest-Hemingway-Fishing/dp/B00CS9W5HC for instance.

I'm not being definitive about methods of warfare. I'm observing that entire jetplanes, whole, have been swallowed by the ocean without anyone knowing where they went, or really caring very much about the passengers besides high-producing intellectual elite. The invaders on welfare in England are not high producing, nor are they intellectual. I'm observing that there are entire airplane graveyards full of nearly enough functional planes, much less containers that can be hoisted over the side to dump out their contents into freezing cold Arctic waters.

Most of England has been got shed of their guns. None of the methods I'm guessing the oppressed masses might use require guns. They would use the materials on hand, the same way as any other peasant revolt, ever. They just have a lot more stuff to work with than ever before.

I mean, nylon rope is cheap and abundant. This is unlike the seasonal harvest of hemp for rope. Nylon, even in sheer knit stockings, has a high level of strength- witness all of the various serial killers using it in their pursuits.

The 1917 revolutionaries in Russia would take ferries out into bays and sink them, or simply get rid of the passengers. It's very cold water. Sometimes they would do it in sight of people onshore, to inspire extra terror.

The major fishing boats after World War 2, out of the Scandinavian nations scrape the bottom of the ocean, denuding the entire landscape. Environmental groups, the sort that insist that 90% of the population needs to be killed off, protest these giant ships. Part of how you reforest the bottom of the ocean is provide abundant food particles filtering down onto the seabed. In other words, that wouldn't be a right-wing action, nor would the justifications come from the alt-right. Nor would it come from Christians, who believe in life. The Scandis are barely Christian, heavily environmentally aware, and immensely proud of their fishing traditions. I mean, Thor fishes for the world-snake. It would be pitched as a patriotic sacrifice.

The right-wing wants people returned to their homeland. The left-wing is always, and has always been, a bunch of homicidal maniacs. It's mostly a matter of figuring out who wanders into their cross-hairs.

What Draveky said. sort of.

There is evidence that most of the shallow oil we drill contains parts of fully organic material. The problem is that it can also be explained as organic seepage into oil supplies.

a lot MORE evidence supports non-organic origins, because in Russia (and on Titan) there is a lot of oil that contains no organic signatures at all.

That and the sheer VOLUME of oil which exceeds, by many orders of magnitude, even the most outrageous energy expenditures of surface life. Frankly, life tends to recycle life, which tends to minimize the amount of chemical energy 'lost' through seepage into the ground. In a closed system like ours, the sheer volume of long chain hydrocarbons in even surface deposits vastly exceeds the energy lost through decay.

In the most life-filled locations on earth, such as in the ocean and in the rain forest, the amount of 'nutrients' and other energy that returns to the soil is vastly less than that in less decay-rich environments. Rainforest soil, for example, is famous for being some of the poorest soil on earth. The organic molecules simply do not sink as fossil fuel theory posits.

That and the oil rising from the upper mantle, far beneath even the most far-fetched fantasist's dreams of how deeply life can reach, strongly implies that little, if any, of the hydrocarbon fuels we drill have anything remotely resembling an organic origin.

It's like the origin of life. Scientists are certain that they know what life comes from, but they have no idea of what step happened to make an organic soup 'live'. They THINK they know the organic origins of oil, but haven't been able to explain the step it takes from 'decaying plant matter' to 'crude oil' with any level of evidence. Abiosis though? this is quite well understood, explained, and contains reams of evidence as well as real experimental proof.

A cool thing about the modern semi-automatic handgun, I happen to carry a Glock 30 principally, is you can swap out the barrel almost instantly if you are wearing gloves and within a very few minutes cooling even without. Barrels are easily destroyed for evidentiary purpose by any handyman. Also you can collect a handful of spent casings quickly. Except for noise, the modern semi-automatic handgun is superior to an ice axe including as to concealment. I highly recommend using ice axes only for rock and ice and acquiring a semi-automatic handgun together with a spare barrel or two, pay with cash out of state. Bullshit. Doctors without borders are traitors and saboteurs that deserve to be executed without delay or mercy.

It doesn't matter what their 'motivation' might be. What they do is prolong wars and incidents and multiply human suffering a thousandfold wherever they go.

Wars (and police actions) exist, not to kill people, but to destroy their will to fight. When you have do-gooders showing up with food, medicine, and medical treatment, the desperation to end the fight to end the suffering is eliminated, thus making fights, which could have lasted months, extend into decades... with a correspondingly huge loss of life and ensuing horror.

And don't even TRY to justify 'extending human life' by means of charity until, at every turn, that life expands to meet and then overcome the NEW limits of the charity.

You have 10,000 kids, and important 10,000 'food for a year' kits, you can guarantee the number of children will be 20,000 next year.

This has been the pattern eternally with r/ selected populations. the population ALWAYS expands to the maximum possible support level under the conditions. And doctors without borders are the instrument of that support... They may have decent morals, but they are the instrument of utter evil and suffering... their compassion invites the four horsemen, every time.

Good to hear from you. A great tool to have in general is a large to industrial bench-anchored vice ideally forged with hardened steel to serve as an anvil too. A quality vice like this enables extending the handle to improve torques per force exerted. A vice so described can squish metal tubes inserted between the jaws reasonably flat and these compacted tubes then can be folded back upon themselves in increments using a cheap forging hammer or equivalent. The user can then heat the bundle with a torch and once red hot pound it into a billet, utterly devasting esoteric features beyond recognition including by x-rays. An hour's investment and then you have a fishing weight or you can just toss the lump into a scrapyard for environmentally conscious recycling. Because we can be like that.

"Speaking of revolutions, the precursor to the American Revolution was The Great Awakening 1730-1760

Religious awakening led to political awakening."

There were
The War for Independence + Articles of Confederation Period
The Post-war depression and struggling to keep the country out of bankruptcy
The "Era of Good Feelings"
The Awakening
The Civil War.

And the same pattern repeated before the 1861-1865 war.

"Not sure where you're getting this 18000 ft depth limit on life. Oil doesn't need active live organisms to form, it just needs hydrocarbons, time and pressure. Is it possible for some fossil fuels to be generated abiotically? Yes. Are the useful ones abiotic? Not at drillable depths on Earth, at least not so far."

It doesn't matter. As has been demonstrated numerous times, "dead" oil fields will refill on their own.

"dead" oil fields being used for storage, somehow return more oil than what was pumped into them.

Oil is lighter than water.
Water seeps down, the oil floats up through it.

This isn't difficult.
It will ALWAYS make it's way to the surface if there is a path. And beneath the surface, there new paths connstantly being formed as rock is twisted and crushed by tectonic forces.

"As for what oil originally was, mostly different kinds of plant life. Some tiny fraction might have been actual animals but the vast majority is stuff like algae, peat, etc. Most of the coal we mine is the first trees that arose during a ~50 million year period during the Carboniferous prior to fungi developing that could break down cellulose."

The mistake you are making is assuming that because both coal and petroleum are carbon-based minerals that they therefore have similar origins.

Nothing could be farther from the truth.

@104 I'd like to see you retrieve anything at all from a piece of metal that has been turned to liquid and burnt/blown out of the cut onto the floor by a pressurized oxygen jet.

It's obvious that you have never actually DONE any metal working, or you'd know that once steel (or any metal really) goes through the solid->liquid transition, whatever structure it held in its previous life is gone, never to return.

The molten metal is both heavily oxidized (burnt) and aerosolized by said oxygen jet, so that when it lands and cools all you have are small puddles of slag surrounded by a multitude of exceptionally tiny steel spheres.

You could analyze the slag pile and tell it came from a metal with X% carbon, Y% manganese, Z% chromium, and D% molybdenum, but what shape it used to be before it was melted is forever lost to the ages.

Do a YouTube search for "Oxy/Acetylene Cutting Torch" and then come back and tell me how you're going to reconstruct some object's previous shape after it's been melted and burned with pure oxygen until nothing of the original shape remains.

Mad coding skilz cannot defeat the physics of metallurgy and oxidizing chemical reactions, I don't care how autistic you are.

"So there is no organic matter involved?"

Contrary to hippie-speak, the word "organic" simply means that there's at least 1 carbon atom in the molecule.
By definition ALL Oil is organic, regardless of origin...even the methane floating around in space.

@84" Scientists are certain that they know what life comes from, but they have no idea of what step happened to make an organic soup 'live'."

That's because it requires the "organic soup" to be simultaneously low pH (for the acid-filled nucleus to be created) and high pH (so that there are disolved lipids to create a cell-wall with.

That right there means that the "primordial soup" model is absolutely impossible, and that there is some other origin of life. An origin that can solve the simultaneous low-pH/high-pH problem. Something with more intelligence than random brownian motion.

Wrt chemistry, yes. That isn't the primary definition of the word. That fact doesn't change the correctness of your answer though.

You are correct I should have noticed you were referring to a pressurized oxy/acetylene burner. Your average gun owner as far as I know doesn't keep a $200+ torch in the garage when for most needs a $9 propylene torch works just fine. So I effed up "assuming" and fwiw I did look at it from a cs perspective, in part, because I once handled a comparable project.

So for joe blow I'd suggest a dremel and just grinding/atomizing the barrel information and then taking the time with whatever torch you have to slag the thing. Voila, and that was pretty brief in comparison with what I posted last night.

Blogger CoolHand July 17, 2018 2:29 AM

@124 I'm a machinist by trade, and own my own machine shop. I've got actual factual CNC machines, no need to buy a desktop toy. Better than nothing, if nothing is what you've got right now, but I'd rather have even a manual Bridgeport style machine than a tiny CNC like that, because the bigger manual machine is a lot more useful and versatile.

@125 Depends on where in the country you're talking about. For apartment dwellers in LA? Sure, they're not gonna have an oxy/acetylene rig. But for guys who live out in rural BFE like where I'm at, every man who calls himself such owns at least a small oxy/acetylene rig, because with two torches, two regs, and two bottles, you can cut and weld steel and aluminum up to about an inch thick. That's damned useful, and doesn't cost much in comparison to how much you can do with it.

If you spend more than $200 for a cutting/welding torch rig off Craigslist, you paid too much, and it might even come with the bottles.

Hell, you can buy a pretty nice hand portable set from Home Depot brand new for less than $300 (without the gas cylinders, obviously, you rent those from the welding gas supply company).

If you don't have any experience working metal at all, I suggest that you start right here. It's a low cost of entry, and it'll teach you a lot about working, cutting, and joining steel. Good bang for the buck, as it were.

Amazingly enough, YouTube is an excellent resource for learning this sort of thing, because it's easier for most people to pick up from seeing someone demonstrate it VS reading about the techniques in a book.

I'd still buy a couple of books for learning the actual theory of what's going on, but the videos will likely get you going faster.

WALL STREET AND THE BOLSHEVIK REVOLUTION

Good book, my point was that Jekyll Island and the internationalist machinations of more than a century ago preceded Trotsky (and later helped him, certainly). Trotsky may well have given globalism a boost, but to cut Stalin and the reach and resources of the Soviet Union out out of the picture of shaping modern globalism (not to mention FDR, his sycophants and Wall Street), belies several generations of research on (Soviet) communist influence on American culture, politics and society.
