There is no "we" kemosabe

Mark Zuckerberg tries to use China as an excuse to avoid antitrust law:
Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has hit back at the idea Facebook has become too big and should be broken up into smaller companies. The 34-year-old spent two days testifying about his company and answering questions - something he suggested an overseas company the size of Facebook would be less inclined to do.

'I think you can bet that, if the government here is worried about...  whether it's election interference or terrorism... I don't think Chinese companies are going to want to cooperate as much and aid the national interest there,' he said.

Zuckerberg also spoke out against the US constraining its own companies, noting it would only give way to overseas - specifically Chinese - competitors.

'If we adopt a stance which is that, we're going to, as a country, decide to clip the wings of these companies and make it so it's harder for them to operate in different places or they have to be smaller, then there are plenty of other companies out there willing and able to take the place of the work that we're doing,' he said.

'And they do not share the values that we have.'
Neither do white Christian Americans, Mark. So break Facebook up already. I'd vastly prefer civilized Chinese rule, which has a long track record of societal success, to rule by the techno-parasites of the neoliberal world order, who have already demonstrated their complete lack of ability to even grasp the basic concept of societal sustainability.

I’d still prefer to live under Saint Vladimir Defender of the faith than the bugmen, but at this point, invasion from outer space by the lizards from V is preferable to the (((zuck))) and the other insane leftists globohomolists.

Of course... my preferred option is to become Doge of La Serenissima and turf out the impostor Pope and he invading Saracens before trying to reunite the East and Western Churches.

I hope I live a very long life. Unlikely as it may be if I begin this in earnest.

Go ahead Mark. Move to China. Please do it today.

I understand the authorities there are super tolerant of SJW politics.

hilariously, the ArsTech fags are edging towards boycotting Faceberg
...
because Faceberg hasn't banned InfoWars.

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/07/zuckerberg-facebook-will-host-fake-news-as-long-as-it-doesnt-cause-real-harm/?comments=1&unread=1

you'll remember, this is the very same Ars Technica that was a ringleader in the "Gamers Are Dead" coordinated world wide Fake News campaign that kicked off GamerGate.

so,
IF InfoWars should be kicked off of Faceberg for peddling obvious falsehoods
THEN Ars Technica ( and every other network which has participated in grossly Fake News, like Dan Rather / CBS on the National Guard Memo ) should likewise be booted.

as you can see, that's not going to leave a whole lot of "valid" news sources standing.

Amusing: Even my sister has total contempt for the Zuckerscum. I expect great things will come out from the Summit between Trump-Putin from the symbolism involved.

It may take time to get more Right social media platforms rolling, but meanwhile few pay attention to these converged, parasite sources.

Facebook needs to be "exampled," or take them down.

It has become obvious to anyone with a brain that SWJs engage in autophagy (self-consumption or self-cannibalism). Step out of line, even a little bit and you are destroyed. They eat their own. There is an interesting article by a former successful SJW who is now on the outs and writing under a pseudonym that has a significant statement that explains an important truth about SJWism.
“Social justice is a surveillance culture, a snitch culture. The constant vigilance on the part of my colleagues and friends did me in. That's why I'm delivering sushi and pizza.” https://quillette.com/2018/07/14/i-was-the-mob-until-the-mob-came-for-me/
It is 1984/Big Brother on steroids in that it is an omnivore and even eats itself on a regular basis. Got to keep the movement pure. No forgiveness, no recovery, failures become food for the beast.

@10:

Classical holiness spiral. The way to gain status are insane demonstrations of loyalty to the cause to prove one holier than others, but this results in more and more extreme displays as the benchmark moves ever further left.

It's not too different from the Khmer Rouge, which started with intellectuals, and then the intellectuals ate themselves until people were killed for merely wearing glasses.

The last leftist will kill everyone else, and then stab himself for insufficient holiness.

The smart move would be to break FB up on their terms...before the Government steps in and imposes a breakup on THEIR terms.

And offering a paid membership option, with paying members' information not for sale, would be a smart move.

Vox,

I’m not up to speed on Chinese history, so this is more of a question. Do you think that the assumption of civilized Chinese rule is still valid since they accepted the tenets of Communism, then Socialism, and now (it appears) Globalism?

Blogger pyrrhus July 19, 2018 10:52 AM

Do you think that the assumption of civilized Chinese rule is still valid since they accepted the tenets of Communism, then Socialism, and now (it appears) Globalism?

Yes. It's never more than a thin veil stretched over genuine Chinese culture.

Blogger Nikephoros II Phokas July 19, 2018 12:08 PM

The Chinese don't even understand the concept of lines and won't even help people who are hit by cars right in front of them. They piss and spit and shit and smoke everywhere.

They also persecute Christians.

Then there are the examples of recent Chinese foreign influence, like North Korea, Cambodia, etc. Go read through the history of any Southeast Asian country and look how far back ethnic Chinese behaved like parasites in their host nations.

There's a reason China has no long-term allies. They fought border wars and conflicts with their own allies in the middle of the Cold War.

As someone else pointed out here previously, they are a gamma nation, also known as the Jews of Asia.

The globalists hate every right-wing nationalist country (other than sometimes Israel) yet love the Chinese and spend tons of resources protecting them.

Faceberg is a key part of the deep state's spying infrastructure now, and Zuckerberg is sending the veiled message that the deep state isn't going to be able to maintain its current capabilities unless Faceberg is protected.

Which is all the more reason for Americans to want to kill it.

Blogger Noah B The Savage Gardener July 19, 2018 12:21 PM

And speaking of breaking up tech companies, how about the EU fining Google $5 billion over antitrust violations? That will show Drumpf and his tiny hands not to mess with EU trade policy!

Blogger Nikephoros II Phokas July 19, 2018 12:26 PM

By the way, I'm sure everyone has heard of China's widespread infanticide, but they also commit over 30x times more abortions per year than the US. Many of these are forced by the government.

300+ million abortions over the past 40+ years. Absolutely Satanic.

Blogger DonReynolds July 19, 2018 1:03 PM

Mark Zuckerberg does not appreciate that the law is not the same in every country. China may not have anti-trust laws, which are uniquely American, but neither China nor Europe permit a free and open internet either. Like a traveling peddler, Mark is finding out that the fines and penalties for violating the laws in different countries can make it difficult to make a profit. Mark simply wants to be exempted from such laws.

I found it odd that European (and Asian) countries have no problem or concern with internet sites that feature child pornography, something that is aggressively suppressed in the USA, including long stays in prison. In the USA, an adult male luring and trolling for underage girls can be sent to prison just for arranging to meet one and be required to register with the police as a sex offender for life. This is not the case in the rest of the world.

Apparently, Mr. Zuckerberg wants to eliminate American anti-trust laws as well as the anti-pedo laws too. Lemmie guess, he would also expect Facebook to avoid American taxes entirely and any of the same affirmative action requirements that other American firms are compelled to obey.

Mark Z. will also have difficulty finding many countries with feminist laws similar to what we have in the USA. Should Mark Z. comply with Sharia Law in Muslim countries? They would say..."Most certainly!"

I once met a Chinese girl at uni. She was really nice. We cooked together. And then, while we ate, she told me about her little brother. How he was born, how the nurses put him on the windowsill in freezing temperatures, how he cried, and cried, and eventually he stopped crying. And then he finally died. All the while she smiled.

I was never more freaked out in my life.

@24 27 and 31:

You need to understand the fundamental difference in Western and Eastern thinking. In the West ruled by Christianity, you have the imago dei - people are souled beings made in the image of God, and thus have a unique preciousness to them. Even run-of-the-mill abortionettes have to claim that infants are not people, only the truly evil are okay with outright infanticide.

Conversely, Oriental thinking stems from their earliest religion before Buddhism came on the scene - animism. Everything has spirits, from trees to rivers to rocks to your kitchen and cars. A human is no different from an object when it comes to metaphysical value - in modern, westernised culture, this is often whitewashed to mean that all things are treated with the same respect that humans are in the west. However, in practice this just means that people are treated like someone from the west would a tool or object. If you're wanted, you live, if you're not wanted, you get discarded like trash.

A long-standing tool of China's rulers for everything from building the Great Wall to machine guns is to simply throw more and more lives at it until the problem goes away.

Blogger The Observer July 19, 2018 6:03 PM

@30: Infanticide via exposure has been practiced in China since forever, on a larger scale than even the Romans at the height of their depravity. One of the most common threads amongst Christian missionaries to China was disgust at how common abandoned infants were in the streets.

Not surprising that the girl you men would be inured to any sense that it might be wrong any more than a Roman woman off to dump her newborn in the fields would be.

Please excuse me I'm sure I'm just missing the obvious, I'm slow this morning... but what are bugmen?

From the context of the thread, I'd guess “technocrat”, but I don't see how you arrived at the "bugman" nickname, unless of course it's a reference to cockroaches similar behavior of scuttling and scattering to hide from the light.

I'm dying of curiosity, b|c the nickname seems to blasted appropriate it satisfies even on a subconscious, emotion-driven level!

Thank you in advance for your clarification!

Search engines (I tried two) gave references to horror movies (incl BEM-s as related references) and parodies. “People” related references were cited as from comicbook characters, as a category of derogatory nicknames aimed towards geniuses and bookworms — noting “cokebottle bottom”-eyeglasses that are standard equipment for those characters.

During reflection, along the "eyeglasses indicative of high-IQ" line of thought and considering recent discussions on other threads on this board, I would have hazarded a guess of "Jewish people"... if pressed: I wasn't comfortable w|that answer.
