Don't ever talk to the media

No matter WHO you are, no matter WHERE you live. And definitely don't permit them to visit your home and get "an in-depth idea of your circumstances". They will use it against you and publicize it in the hope that it will somehow harm you.
When the Vice reporter came in January 2018, I showed them around Shenzhen for three days. During this visit, I brought the reporter to my home, long enough for the reporter to get an in-depth idea of my circumstances. In my home, I worked on an automated bartender project I had built for a friends bar- to address with the best possible evidence the ongoing Internet smear campaign against me that only a White man could do work like mine. All this was apparently not juicy enough for Vice. Frankly, it’s very rare I get accused of not being click-baity enough just being myself.

The Vice reporter returned home to NYC and in the following week began to ask the questions about my personal life it had been agreed were off limits. I was given the “opportunity” to address anonymous 4chan/Reddit speculation about my personal life from the ongoing harassment campaign against me- or look guilty in silence. This is not professional, this is not journalism:

Even the most basic level of professionalism was too much to ask of Vice- and yet they want to hide behind the title of “journalists” and claim to be above any accountability, when they are nothing of the kind.
The media and mainstream journalists are, without question, the enemy of the people. The God-Emperor should take a page from the People's Republic of China and simply start arresting them en masse... as we are informed he will be doing shortly, and with good cause.

She also reveals how the notorious New York Times racist Sarah Jeong is a lying, deceptive, and unprincipled bitch:
With the platform that journalism gave her amplifying that power, sent on behalf of the exact sort of “privileged White man” she claims to despise, she went out to destroy another Asian woman. All while knowing full well the issue was far more complex than she was pretending, the facts completely different- and simply not caring. Not then, not in the following months when it became clear to more and more people just how badly she had abused her power, her education, her profession, and her privilege.
The President of the United States is absolutely right. The media is the enemy. But as Naomi Wu's story demonstrates, they are not just the enemy of the American people, they are the enemies of humanity. I used to think journalists were brave and heroic, but now that I have direct experience of their deceptions and dishonesties, now that I see through their self-serving self-portrayals, I'm afraid I will remain entirely dry-eyed when one or more of them are publicly sacrificed in the false flag for which the media is already preparing the anti-Q narrative.

The truth is we don't need journalists anymore. The ubiquity of smartphones and video recording equipment renders them utterly moot, especially since they primarily serve as gatekeepers and propaganda agents, not conduits of truthful and relevant information.

In my earlier life I was often the subject of newspaper & mag stories, mostly "friendly" journos, and inevitably there were glaring, easily fixable errors. Every time.

Yet even then, anyone reading a story about someone other than themselves usually believed everything written.

Multiply careless/incompetent x malicious, and...

Journalism is dead, and it killed itself a long time ago.

Blogger 罗臻 August 07, 2018 8:25 AM

Question for any MSM journslist: Do you disavow Vice?

Another lesson: follow Taleb's silver rule. Bad behavior has a way of catching up with you. Wu was all over Twitter during the Jeong storm. This story will end up being a far bigger thorn. The NYTimes has a woman who burns and destroys sources on their editorial board.

Blogger JACIII August 07, 2018 8:25 AM

Was just reading the piece when you posted. Between that and the recently reported story of Mueller/Comey/Holder and their theft/sale of a Florida based man's military stealth technology there is a pattern in the elite circles., a drive to overtly sacrifice the little people for your personal advancement. Their fast track to the top is through the work, effort, and achievement of others. A bunch of little Zuckerbergs.

And yet you insist on opining despite tuning out. As for me, I'm tired of people who have nothing to add to the discussion, haven't even read the material in full, and yet insist on sharing their opinion of something to which they couldn't even pay attention.

I was told “hire a lawyer” as if I have the means for that. Even when I spoke to American lawyers they said technically the written agreement was not a legal contract so it would be easy for Vice to wriggle out of it- since they have an army of high priced attorneys.

That may well be. But imagine Vice having to put up a defense. A wealthy, pro-bono, alt-right lawyer could have some fun. Besides, didn't they originally say Gawker had it in the bag?

Apparently biased journalism sells better. At least that claim is made. And then there is "If it bleeds it leads."
Well CNN is very biased and is doing very badly. Way behind FOX and some of the lessor biased networks. So either the management is a bunch of morons, which I reject as a serious possibility, or their brand of bias is not being done for the money or for the popularity. They are pushing it at their own expense.

Thus at the least for CNN, it is mythical to say they are doing it for the money. Their brand of more lefty biased journalism costs money. And so somebody has to forgo return to put it on.

Now there will always be people around who will do biased coverage. Lots of people are inclined aforethought or drift easily into slandering anybody they disagree with. And so you cannot eliminate based journalists because they can be so easily produced. The scarce resource is the willingness to fund it.

What I would like to know is the institutional structure and who is footing the bill for this more extreme bias, the stuff CNN sacrifices return to put on.

Blogger Hammerli280 August 07, 2018 9:50 AM

Two years ago, John Wright was telling us that Trump was the candidate to beat...not to beat Hillary Clinton, but the Propaganda Press.

We've known the Propaganda Press lied...but I don't think people realize just how terribly much they lie.

And yes, I can believe at least some of the Q allegations. Think on it...
1. Hollywood has always been notorious for the casting couch, for acting as a bordello to satisfy the sexual appetites of the powerful.
2. Washington is also notorious for sexual trysts. The Democrats, in particular, are infamous for immorality.
3. Hollywood is now closely aligned with the Democrat Party. Politically, and from all reports sexually.
4. The Propaganda Press is also closely aligned with the Democrat Party. The revolving door between the media and the political class is blatant - take a look at who is related to whom in Washington.

So it makes perfect sense that the Propaganda Press would be dipping into the river of perversion flowing out of Hollywood.

Well there are exceptions that prove the rule -- look at the coverage this past weekend of gun violence in Chicago. Pretty fact based stuff. Of course, there are some things you just can’t hide.

Then again, the journos are good at body counts, since it is just simple arithmetic, as opposed to insightful rhetorical or cultural analysis.

Finally, you are right, we don't need them, but they remain very useful as they display their particular brand of stupidity, vulgarity, and shallow mentality -- especially as they slowly but inevitably emasculate themselves.

As SexyCyborg mentioned, she's not an native English speaker and was trying to avoid certain things, as a result some things are kind of unclear. She also ends up downplaying the really sleazy stuff they did. They killed her Patreon, which did actually financial harm to her, but she couldn't respond to that because Vice has a lot of lawyers.

Though, given SexyCyborg didn't quite grasp the phrasing for it, she points to Jeong being horrifically racist against the Chinese as well. Jeong literally went with "I'm Korean that grew up in the USA, I'll call 1 Chinese Woman and claim she speaks for all of China". Jeong pulled the Asian version of "I have black friends!".

One thing is the MSM doesn't grasp is that, when "domestic conflict" breaks out, every side is going to play pinata with "journalists". They've managed to make everyone hate them, even the people that control them. That's a pretty impressive feat.

They ought to make Corporate Journos read the following statement before every interview:

- You have the right to remain controversial.

Alas, Corporate Journos already wear badges (plastic laminated ones, to be sure, but you get the point).

An interesting case of intersexual dynamics and the media and how they interact.

Though I only know Naomi Wu from part of two videos of herself she linked in the article, her deal is fairly obvious - its a channel that draws eyes by being the improbable combination of a very attractive girl willing to flaunt it - costumes and everything - and a high level of technical and building skill.

The obvious leftist story to draw clicks is 'this inspiring Chinese girls empowers girls to enter tech, also look boobs' but they didn't do that. Instead they went for outrage porn. VD notes above this is due to the way gammas and less attractive women react to attractive women - enraged drag-down, followed by smug superiority if successful.
I would add that even Deltas react with resentment sometimes towards such women, though more commonly they're intimidated.

Common knowledge here, I think the more unique demonstration here is of a strong weakness of attractive women - they are often naïve and unpracticed at combating hostility from people with actual social capital. This is because most people who are ill-disposed towards them don't have much social capital. Rivalry they understand. Stringing along deltas they understand. Venom they don't.

Beautiful women have enmity with snakes.

Blogger VD August 07, 2018 12:23 PM

Blogger tublecane August 07, 2018 12:25 PM

@41- One of those "science says" articles tried to tell me attractive people are annoying. Which can't be true, because it wouldn't explain how well they do in life. You never, ever see a pretty homeless girl. And for some odd reason when I see attractive couples they're also well-groomed, put-together, and if they're not just kids apparently at least comfortable financially. These things go together.

However, certain people definitely resent beauty. And they have disproportionate influence in our culture. The parade of ugly man-women emerging from Hollywood can't entirely be blamed on homos. Probably casting agencies are full of resentful hags.

Blogger tublecane August 07, 2018 12:34 PM

@23- "promoted beyond her ability"

At her school, maybe. But journalism doesn't take much ability. Those people are the stupidest of the intellectual class, save perhaps educationists.

Last I checked, the average IQ of a journalist is 112. Not even a standard deviation above average, and bear in mind people of average intelligence don't read past headlines.

The only reason journalism works at all is that, as @3 spoke to, when you're not familiar with the subject you can't tell how obvious is their incompetence and/or maliciousness.

The image of the heroic stoic unbiased crusader seeking the truth despite hardships, personal tragedy or persecution is a great mythos. Too bad they destroyed it.

Journalists are irrelevant because their opinions stain their words. Their bias is transparent and the agenda they push is obvious and self serving.
A high school kid with a blog can write something passable as news and just as relevant.
Trust and integrity are necessary to maintain journalism's sway over the cultural psyche. Otherwise it becomes apparent that they are unnecessary in the information age

Blogger Lovekraft August 07, 2018 2:09 PM

Blogger Forge the Sky August 07, 2018 2:11 PM

@42 attractive people tend to do well in general, because they have passive value and because of the halo effect. But jealousy and resentment inspire much more devoted efforts than do vague attraction/admiration.

As such, attractive people tend to just have people like them and have things go their way most of the time - and also occasionally face a devotedly hateful obstacle, or the persistent advances of an obsessed suitor.

The opening text refers to dedicated, hard-working, honest newspaper reporters as something from a bygone age ... which implies the 1870's at the latest... but what was by then called "muckraking" had already been going in U.S. newspapers since at least the 1840's, if not earlier...)

Has there EVER been a newspaper with purely honest reporting?
