Hoaxes are hoaxes.

Yeah I'll bet.

Should be good, but too bad Jordan Peterson slithered in there. “Fake news” is far less sinister and is easier to identify than “fake intellectuals” (Intellectual Dork Web).

L. Ron Peterson, Scott the Moist Robot, and Growth Hacker Holiday. Yeah, I suspect these guys DO know a thing or two about hoaxes.

Blogger Mad Dad October 15, 2018 8:08 AM

Tries to give Peterson 2 seconds of dialogue in the trailer and he manages to say something incorrect.

Blogger Matt Sellitto October 15, 2018 8:12 AM

"Tries to give Peterson 2 seconds of dialogue in the trailer and he manages to say something incorrect."

Hah, I caught that as well.

I'll probably still watch it.

"In a way then, the Media is designed not to inform you, but to keep you uninformed."

this is ALSO a dooftarded statement.

IF you haven't received your daily Media dose
THEN you haven't been manipulated today ( with today's chosen Narrative, this says nothing about people in your personal life ).

it's not just that the Media is attempting to manipulate you.

it's that they REQUIRE you to be informed of the Lies which they are spinning today.

otherwise, you're behind the curve and don't know which Lie of the Day you're supposed to be observing at any particular moment.

Here is one of te comments:

Truly terrible and disappointing experience - lost $476 to frauds.

I contributed to 8 campaigns on indiegogo, 1 refunded and 4 frauds. This is really disappointing. We are taking a bet on ideas and don't expect 100% success. If the campaign didn't work out, an update on what went wrong and lesson learned would be the decent thing to do. Will definitely not use the website again and warn others not to do so, too.

Blogger saintCrispee October 15, 2018 10:19 AM

Another documentary by a right winger about their problems with the media. How original, groundbreaking.

Blogger InformationMerchant October 15, 2018 10:26 AM

Cernovich hasn't had the best luck with the timing of this. The status of some of these people have fallen since they conducted interviews.

Molyneux: One of the shining stars of this list despite him not being thought of as well as he was 18 months ago by a lot of the people here.

JP: Vox was right is spreading throughout the right.

Adams: The distrust of Adams is growing, he seems to be on a side all of his own politically (we're ignoring his old claim of being a Libertarian and his new claim of being a progressive). His recent failure at spreading the wisdom of BLM to the right is interesting considering Hawk Newsome is on this list, probably due to Adams.

Scaramucci: Cernovich manufactured positive feelings towards Scaramucci. I admit he did well to get rid of a swamp creature and taking the job cost him a lot.

Before Trump was President Scaramucci called Trump "a hack" and "anti-American" on Fox Business. His first choice for republican nominee was Scott Walker, his second choice was Jeb.

Since being fired he's been defending the media, concern trolling Trump and siding against Trump from time to time.

I don't watch whatever he's on, but I don't watch whatever a ton of these types of guys are on, yet Scaramucci is only one that I hear saying anti Trump things over and over again.

Ryan Holiday: I've only watched one appearance by this guy. He was insufferable and seemed to be unable to go 5 minutes without contradicting himself. Fortunately for me, @4 seems to support my first impression of this guy. (An hour of "YOUR WELCOME" which is on Michael Malice's Youtube channel.) I don't know him well enough to put him anywhere politically.

Blogger InformationMerchant October 15, 2018 10:26 AM

James O'Keefe: Another shining star of this list.

Alex Jones: Civic nationalism aside, he's at least on our side.

Hawk Newsome: BLM. Scott Adams's friend. Scott finally stopped trying to push his agenda on the 31st of August. https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1035562183269076992 I'm sure he's in the film because of Scott but at least as he's openly BLM, he's not hiding what he is.

Gavin Mcinnes: Actually regained some credibility after the recent fighting. Pictures of him waving a plastic sword after the Proud Boys engaged in street fights have been all over twitter for the last couple of days.

He's still a strange cuck that used to say things that are to the right of most of the alt right, then he said things that were to the right of the alt light and in the last 18 months he's been telling everyone that the Alt Right are nazis (despite his video on alt right vs alt lite not doing this). So he's all about how diverse the Proud Boys are, how they're banned from being Alt Right and so on. Meanwhile he's banned from twitter and called far right by Fox news (despite being a regular on there once upon a time).

He also stuck a dildo up his ass on video and put it on the internet. I will never unsee this man's asshole and I don't think I'm going to forgive him for that.

Tim Pool: He'll describe himself as left leaning or he'll put up a picture of the left vs right, authoritarian vs libertarian model with a picture of him in the bottom left square. He doesn't like the current left, is pro free speech, anti antifa and so on. He also believes in systematic racism, google's definitions of words, endorses progressive economic policy. He was at occupy and Fergusson.

He's half Asian and half white. A journalist with a right wing following despite being on the left. Cernovich boosted him big time, but he also went to Sweden and had one day in a no go zone that was uneventful and one day where he got escorted out.

His coverage of events by simply livestreaming for hours and not editing it worked out for him.

Lauren Southern: Another shining star of this line up. Her South Africa documentary went well, she's one of the few on this list that has a better reputation than a year ago (although lighting a handheld flare on a boat being turned into hilarious rumours was interesting to watch, that should feature in the movie).

Cassie Jaye: I've only watched two appearances by her. She was a feminist that made a film about the MRA movement and violated the narrative.

Luke Rudkowski: I've only watched a dozen videos of him. A journalist that's tricky to place politically; I'd say left libertarian/hippy/somewhere near Assange. When the right wing fought the left, he was usually on the right wing side filming (he did travel with Lauren Southern, Tim Pool and others that'd be safe and popular on the right).

If Cernovich is going for a non partisan film, the left isn't going to react to Alex Jones or O'Keefe well in a film about fake news. They're also going to see about half a dozen of these guys as right wing even though they're not right wing.

It looks good though and the interesting thing about the list is they aren't unknowns. He does get good names for these.

Blogger wreckage October 15, 2018 10:33 AM

Cernovich is all about Cernovich. If he finds it beneficial to promote being an anti-racist progressive, that's what he will do. His recent virtue signalling was a disgusting display.
These guys will never learn that disavowing will never work and the MSM will always call them far right or Nazi or whatever term is in fashion that week.

It's the voice straight out of Woody Allen's adolescence combined with the virtue signal of the day.

Seriously, Vox, I get personal loyalty, but I couldn't even make it through the trailer.

Hoping for a Supreme Dark Lord cameo.

I can't claim to be a big Cerno fan either but I have to admit the trailer does look good. I'd be surprised if there's any content there that would be enlightening to regulars on this blog, but it might be effective for demotivating some lefties and engaging some normies. I'll definitely watch it.

Related, Indiegogo has a BBB-accredited business logo.

Customer reviews are at 1 star.

I guess that doesn't matter so much if you back trusted creators. Not so good when you don't know. And doubly ironic that they take the trouble to kick a reliable creator like Vox off.

Blogger Nick Siekierski October 15, 2018 4:17 PM

I’ve followed Cerno for 7 years and met him a few times, he has always been gracious and even reached out unsolicited a few times. Living in LA and having a identity complicated family situation puts you in a much different position than relative anonymity in Europe. Read “Cuckservative”, most on the right don’t even have the balls to mention Sam Francis, Cerno does. He’s on our side.

If you depend on Cernovitch being on your side, you are probably going to be disappointed.
Cernovitch is on his own side. Which, honestly, I don't blame anybody for. He's also volatile, emotionally driven, identity complicated and a civic nationalist. While I have no reason to doubt his personal loyalty, his stability and dependability in the political arena are visibly deficient. We've seen him abandon Trump several times.

@33 Brett "The Ice Man" Kavanaugh is now sitting on the Supreme Court. In a year he will have axe murdered all the remaining female justices. You can't handle this much winning.

Kavanaugh helped author the Patriot Act. He went to the same Jesuit university that Gorsech did. All the supremes are controlled, installed players for maximum destruction. The Q psyops worked magik on all those in this ghetto

Blogger Noah B The Savage Gardener October 15, 2018 6:05 PM

Cerno quoted you in a tweet, Snidely. He responded "HIGH SCHOOL NEVER ENDS." Also Tweeters are confused concerning "identity complicated".
